Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 17
As the evening continued on the six sat together at the dining room table laughing and talking and soon it had gotten late, Dave stood up and said, "thank you for allowing me to join you guys tonight, this was fun". Fran said, "you're very welcome Dave and please feel free to stop by anytime", Dave said, "thank you, I will" as he walked through to the living room to grab his coat.
When they stopped at the door Fran said, "what are you going to be doing for Thanksgiving"?, Dave said, "probably try to write for a while and then probably order a little dinner from room service". Fran shook her head and said, "no sir you will not, we want you to join us here for dinner, we will have plenty of food and you are more than welcome to join us and our family and friends".
Penelope said, "come on papa bear, you know that a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner will be better than old room service", Dave said, "welllllllll, okay you have all talked me into it, I would love to join you for dinner". Penelope couldn't help but watched as Fran smiled lovingly at Dave, she inwardly had a thought, a thought to help bring Dave and Fran closer together and who knows, maybe just maybe Fran and Dave could be as happy as me and Derek.
Dave smiled and waved at everybody and thanked them again for an enjoyable evening and before closing the door he once again congratulated Derek and Penelope on their engagement. Penelope and Derek were grinning as they thanked him and then watched as he climbed into his rental car and slowly pulled back out onto the road and disappeared out of sight.
Penelope turned around and looked at Fran, she could tell that Fran was smitten with Dave, she was pulled from her thoughts as Derek wrapped his arms around her waist and said, "what's going on in that mind of yours woman"?, Penelope said, "with me. nothing hotstuff, nothing at all", Derek said, "uh huh sure sweetness, whatever you say", he then leaned in and said, "whatever you say" as his lips brushed against hers.
Fran said, "well I'm going to clean up the dishes and then turn in for the night", she walked over and hugged Derek and Penelope and said, "congratulations again you two, I couldn't be happier for you". Penelope hugged Fran and said "thank you Fran, hearing you say that means the world to me", Fran hugged her son and said ,"good night you two, I'll see you in the morning", Derek said, "good night momma, see you in the morning".
Derek then intertwined fingers with Penelope and they made their way up the stairs and into his room, Penelope said,"today was amazing Derek, thank you, thank you so much for everything". Derek wrapped his arms around her and said "it's me that should be thanking you sweetness", she said, "thanking me, whatever for"?, Derek said, "well if you hadn't said yes to coming with me for Thanksgiving none of this would be happening for us".
Penelope said, "I love you Derek Michael Morgan, always have and always will", he kissed the end of her nose and said, "and I love you Penelope Grace Garcia, soon to be Morgan". Penelope laughed and said, "I bet their will be a lotttttttttt of broken hearted women back in Virginia when they find out that The Derek Morgan is engaged and off the market", he grinned and said, "the only woman that matters to me, that ever really mattered to me is standing here in my arms, it's you sweetness, it's always been you" as his lips descended on hers.
One kiss turned to two and so on and so on with each kiss becoming more and more passionate, clothes started flying everywhere and it wasn't long before the two lovers were falling back onto Derek's bed wrapped in only each others arms. They made love over and over that night, it was like they couldn't get close enough, like they had to be touching each other all of the time, but when they did finally fall asleep hours later it was with huge smiles on their faces.
