Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 28
After making it back to Virginia, Derek and Penelope swung by her place and dropped off her things, she then grabbed some clean clothes for work the next day and then headed back to Derek's place with him. On the flight back home he had asked her to spend the night with him at his place and since it was now their place she happily agreed because she wanted to sleep with her soon-to-be husband in their bed.
Not long after they made it back to casa Morgan one kiss led to another and then another and soon Derek had led her to their bedroom where they spent the night making mad passionate love. They woke up early the next morning to the sound of their cells ringing which meant that they had a case, a bad one and they quickly showered together, got dressed and quickly made their way to the BAU.
Hotch had called them to the round table room where they were all together again after they had all returned from Chicago and what a case to come back home too, this unsub was killing parents and taking their children and so far he had killed 7 sets of parents and taken their children, all girls and all under the age of 10.
After a quick briefing Hotch had announced that they would be wheels up in 30 which meant that everybody needed to grab their go bags and head toward the elevator so they could all head to the airstrip and the jet. Derek grabbed his bag and then stopped by his baby girls lair for a goodbye kiss before joining the others at the elevator, she had followed him and gotten final instructions from Hotch.
She stood smiling and watching as the doors started to close, she said,"be safe my crimefighters" and the last thing she heard as the doors closed were Derek saying, "always sweetness, always". She then turned around and headed back to her lair to get started on background deep dives on all of the victims in homes that she would be able ro find something to help her team find the freak that had killed so many innocent people and taken so many children.
On the jet the team briefed more and took the time to look at crime scene pictures, since this case was taking them to Texas they would have time to look over more information and discuss ideas. When the jet finally landed Hotch and Reid headed to the police station while Dave and Derek headed to the last crime scene and JJ and Em headed to the morgue to see what the ME had found out about the victims deaths.
Penelope was still working hard as search after search was coming up with nothing, well nothing that could help her team, she then decided to see what if anything that they all had in common and it turned out that they had one thing and that was the camp that their children all had gone to the previous summer.
So she decided to do a search about the camp and discovered some scarey things, she discovered that the owner of the camp was a convicted child molester but was somehow able to hide it from everybody, well everybody but the all seeing all knowing oracle who knew how to make her away around on line that is.
The deeper she looked into the owner the less and less she liked this man, it seemed that all of the parents that he had killed were with him at camp when he was molested as a child so she guessed in a way he blamed them for not helping him and wanted to get his revenge.
According to camp records the older owners of the camp Mr. and Mrs. Phillips had molested several of their campers through the years and now apparently one of them was repeating those crimes. The new molester aka Chad Pender was now 30 years old and for a while had been able to maintain at least in public a normal life while in secret he must have been planning his revenge for years.
One by one he managed to kill couple after couple and take their daughters and now he has 10 girls that he has taken and now all that was left was for Penelope to give her team the information and hope that they could carch him and make him pay before he did something else to the girls that would shatter their worlds.
She put her cell on speaker and hit a number and after two rings she heard Hotch say, "please tell me you found something Garcia" and she spent the next few minutes filling Hotch and Dave in on everything that she had found out. It appeared that Chad had 10 properties that were spread out all over 3 different counties, Hotch thanked Penelope for the information and asked her to send the information to the others.
As the call ended she sighed and rubbed her temples as she hoped that her team/family would find Chad soon and save those innocent girls and bring them home and soon. The team was still away when it was time for Penelope to fly out on Friday for her fitting but she took one of her babies with her just in case their was something else that she could do to help her team of super heroes.
When she grabbed her luggage and turned around she was met by Sarah and Desi who were all smiles, they grabbed her bag and led her through the crowds and to their waiting car. She would head back to Frans so that they could pick up Fran and Charlotte before they were to all head in for their fittings.
