Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 30
The next morning Penelope woke up to the sensation of Derek kissing on her neck, she smiled and said, "you know you really should go because my fiancee will be here soon and he's a very jealous man". Derek laughed and said, "with a woman as beautiful as you he'd better be very jealous", she then rolled over onto her back and wrapped her arms around him and held him close as he kissed her lips passionately.
When they pulled apart he said, "so how did things go with the dress"?, she said, "amazingly, it fit and felt amazing", Derek said, "when do I get to see you in it"?, she said, "on our wedding day on Christmas Eve morning my love". Derek said, "but" and she waved her finger in his face and said, "ohhhh but no you don't mister, you will see me on our wedding day and not before, it's bad luck" and he sighed and said, "okay, okay" and then claimed her lips with his again.
Penelope smiled when he pulled back and said, "I missed you so much, it feels like forever since I last saw you", Derek said, "tell me about it, I missed you so much, I didn't think we were ever gonna get back here", As she was getting ready to claim his lips with hers again their came a knock at the door and Derek said, "yeah" and Desi said, "time to get up and get dressed, breakfast is almost ready",
Desi laughed and said, "ma sent me up here to tell you guys about breakfast and then after breakfast we're meeting JJ and Em so they can try on their dresses and then get some shoes if they need them". Derek said, "I want to spend some time with her too ya know"?, Desi said, "that will have to wait till tonight big brother, now get up and get dressed because trust me you don't want ma coming up here on you".
Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "well ya got me there Des, we'll be down in a few minutes", he quickly stole a few kisses before they got up, got dressed and made their way downstairs for breakfast. When Fran saw Derek walk into the kitchen she walked over and hugged him and kissed his cheek and said, "welcome back baby" and he said, "good to be here momma, good to be here" as he joined his future bride, his sisters, his mom and Dave at the table.
They enjoyed a delicious breakfast and Derek said, "so are you meeting JJ and Em there or are they coming here"?, Penelope said, "as far as I know we're meeting them there", she looked at Desi and said, "right"?, Desi said, "right". Derek looked at Dave and said, "so what are you going to be doing while the ladies are out trying on dresses and possibly looking for shoes"?, Dave said, "wellllllll I was hoping that Fran would go out to dinner with me later".
Fran said, "I'd love too" and he smiled and winked at her and said, "good", he then looked at Derek and said, "soooo until time to go out with your mom I guess I'll be here aggravating you youngster". Derek laughed and said, "alright old man that sounds good to me" and Fran said, "or ya know since Penelope has already tried on her dress you two could go with us and then we could go out after that Dave"?, he said, "ohhh I like that idea better Bella".
Penelope said, "me too, this way I can spend some time with hotstuff and get everything taken care of at the same time", Derek wrapped his arm around her and said, "I like that idea myself sweetness". Fran laughed and shook her head and then after putting the last of the dishes up a few minutes later they grabbed their things and headed out to meet JJ and Emily.
When they walked into the shop Tammy smiled and said, "welcome ladies ohhhh and gentlemen", Derek said, "hi Tammy, it's been a long time", Tammy said, "yeah, yeah it has but let me congratulate you on your upcoming wedding". Derek smiled and said, "thank you, I do believe that I have a winner here" and Tammy said, "I do too Derek, I do too" as the attention then turned to JJ and Emily as she handed them their dresses.
A few minutes later JJ and Emily walked out and JJ said, "mine feels good a little loose but it feels amazing", Emily said, "mine too, it feels like sllk, I just love how it good it feels" and JJ nodded her head yes in agreement. Penelope said, "do either of you need shoes"? and both nodded their heads yes and after thanking Tammy for all of her help and arranging for pick up for their dresses on the 23rd they made their way up the street to the shoe store.
JJ and Emily found their shoes rather quickly and then everybody minus Dave and Fran decided to head to the diner across the street for some coffee so they could sit and talk. Penelope looked at everybody and said, "Charlotte couldn't come today, she had to go to school with her girls, something about a teachers meeting but she wanted me to tell everybody hi for her" and everybody smiled and nodded their heads yes.
They sat there talking about the upcoming wedding since it was now almost the second week of December time was quickly passing by and soon she would be Mrs. Penelope Morgan. Derek intertwined fingers with her and said, "soon baby girl, you'll be mine allllllll mine" and she said, "I can't wait for that day either my love" causing everybody to grin at the soon-to-be married couple.
