Thanksgiving With The Morgan's-Ch 31
Early the next morning around 4 Derek and Penelope woke up to the sound of their cells ringing, Derek rubbed his eyes and said, "well that can't be good" as they both reached for their cells. Derek said, "Morgan" and Penelope said, "Garcia", they looked at each other and then said, "we'll be right there" and ended their calls, they threw the covers back and quickly got dressed and grabbed their bags and headed downstairs.
When they got to the living room Fran and the girls were standing there with a bag full of breakfast sandwiches and coffee for everybody to eat and enjoy on the jet, Derek took the bags and then he kissed his mom on the cheek. He then hugged his sisters and then Penelope hugged the trio of Morgan women and thanked them for everything and told them that they would be back for the wedding,
Fran, Sarah and Desi smiled and waved at Derek and Penelope as they climbed into the SUV and backed out of her driveway and headed up the street so that they could get on the main road. Fran sighed and said, "ya know, the next time they come back it will be for their wedding", Sarah and Desi smiled and said, "i can hardly wait".
Desi said, "I don't know about you two but I'm going to go back to bed for a few hours", Sarah and Fran nodded their heads in agreement so they locked the door and turned off all of the lights and headed back to bed. Meanwhile, a few minutes later Derek and Penelope climb onto the Rossi jet and everybody looks up and smiles as Derek raises the bags and said, "breakfast from momma".
Dave said, "ohhhh that smells amazing, we'll eat when once we get into the air and get the all clear", everybody nodded their heads yes in agreement as they sat back and got buckled in for takeoff. It wasn't long before they were given the all clear so that they could enjoy the delicious food that Fran and the girls had prepared for them.
They were able to eat and discuss the case, it wasn't a gruesome case but it was still a bad case, women were being kidnapped, one every other day and so far their had been 7 taken. Derek and the others listened as Hotch went over the specifics of the case, filling everybody in on what the local police thought, he then told them where he wanted everybody to go when the jet landed.
Derek looked at his bride to be and grinned, he couldn't wait to marry her and hopefully they would find all of the victims alive so then they could get back to Chicago and their wedding in a little over a week and a half. Christmas had always been special for Penelope but from now on it would hold another special meaning in her heart, it would be the time that she married the love of her life, her Derek, her hotstuff, her everything.
The case lasted a little over a week, which gave Derek and Penelope two days before they were to be married, so the entire team was given 2 weeks of stand down time so that they could enjoy the wedding and have time to relax after their last two cases. So everybody climbed back onto the Rossi jet and were all smiles as they headed back to Chicago so that their oracle and Derek could finally, finally get married
A few hours later after the jet landed, the team grabbed their luggage and headed through the airport and climbed into the waiting SUVs and they all headed to Frans for a delicious meal before the team would head back to their hotel for the night. Derek hugged his mom and sisters and told them it was good to be back home and how he was afraid that they were going to have to postpone the wedding but thankfully thanks to his baby girl they had found all of the girls and they were all alive.
After enjoying a delicious meal with the rest of his family Derek sighed happily as he snuggled in beside his bride-to-be to enjoy a good nights sleep and under the warms covers hugged up to Penelope it didn't take long for them to fall asleep. The next few days were going to be filled with activities, they would be celebrating Christmas early, well the present opening any way and that was a fact that Jack and Henry absolutely loved.
"Since the wedding and reception were on the 24th they were going to celebrate Christmas on the 23rd which gave them one day to finish their shopping for their family and friends so they could all celebrate Christmas together before the wedding. So that meant that everybody was in for a marathon day of shopping tomorrow, a feat that Penelope looked forward too because she would be doing it with the people she loved most, her family.
