I've decided to post this chapter a day early because I will start homeschooling my toddler niece tomorrow.

I couldn't find a quote suited enough for this chapter, so I decided just to pick a few dialogues in this chapter. Expect the same thing at the end of this chapter for the next one.

"Class rep! Run to the school!"

"Rose was right there, but I wasn't able to reach her in time."

"…I…was strangely at peace with it. Knowing the specifics of my death..."

"So, you're here to discuss what you found out at the school?"

"You're not going anywhere, Achillea."

Chapter 10: Analytic Advantage

The remaining students who weren't immediately warped struggled against the black mist. Shoji shielded Mina and Ochako and Sero, Tenya, and Satou held on to the railing with Satou holding on to Ren. Just when they started to feel the pull getting harder, the black mist starts getting sucked away by something else, pulling it away from the students.

"Hm?" Kurogiri moves his glowing eyes to see Thirteen using Black Hole against him, the cap over her index finger lifted opened.

"I won't let take any more of the children!" Thirteen declared.

"Thirteen!" Ochako declared.

Now not in immediate danger for the time being, Tenya checks in on his classmates. Everyone appears to be okay, maybe a bit a frazzled. Then, he notices Ren on his knees with a hand to his head. Mina and Satou look over him.

"Ren?" Mina spoke, worried for the young man.

"Too many 'voices'…I can't…My head…" Ren muttered, his voice pained.

"Ren's Quirk allows him to calm people down," Tenya thought. "If I remember right, he also has the ability to sense other people's emotions. However, with so many people around, no doubt with intense emotions, it's overloading Ren's senses!" He turns to Shoji. "Shoji, can you find everybody with your Quirk?"

Shoji nods and produces ears on his dupli-arms to hear for any sounds from his classmates.

"…Our classmates have indeed been scattered around, but they are alive," Shoji informed.

Tenya let's out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "That's good."

"Yeah, but what can we do?" Sero asked. He glances at Kurogiri. "This guy can't be hit with physical damage!"

"Class rep! Run to the school!" Thirteen exclaimed. Tenya gasped. "The alarms aren't working, and our signal is jammed. It must be the work of one of these villains! A villain that is not within view of Eraser Head's Quirk. The best course of action is to get someone out of here and run to UA. And that person is you!"

Tenya's eyes grew wide. "But…I can't…" What about the rest of his classmates? Wouldn't he be abandoning his duty as class representative.

"You have to! Remember what today's exercise was going to be about? Rescue! Use your Quirk to save others!"

Thirteen's words hit Tenya home. The job of a class representative was to look after the wellbeing of his classmates. And running as fast as he could back to UA would ensure the safety and rescue of his friends.

But…a small voice in the back of Tenya's mind starts to list off things that could go wrong while he is gone: anyone getting injured, killed, tortured…

"We'll help you on the way!" Ochako declared, pulling Tenya from his thoughts.

"Yeah!" Satou nodded. Tenya looks at everyone. Shoji, Mina, Sero, and Ren, who had regained his bearings, all gave a look of assurance and confidence.

"…I'll do my best!" Tenya said.

"As amusing as this is, I'm afraid that I cannot let you do that," Kurogiri said. He attempts to spread out his mist again only for Thirteen to respond with making her Black Hole stronger.

"I wouldn't be acting so confident when you are dangerously close to turning to dust!" Thirteen said.

Kurogiri narrowed his eyes. "Me? Heh. Are you sure?" A Warp Gate appears behind Thirteen.

"What?" Thirteen barely had time to react as her Black Hole, from the Warp Gate, rips through her hero suit and, consequentially, her body. Thirteen shouts in agony as she could feel the layers of her skin rip off, like a thousand needles piercing her flesh.

The students gasped at the sight. "Thirteen!" exclaimed Ochako and Mina.

In her agony, Thirteen was able to cancel Black Hole, but the damage was done. "I'm…sorry…" She collapses from her injuries.

Tenya stood frozen in place, looking down at the wounded hero, torn by her own Quirk.

Kurogiri chuckled.

USJ: Entrance – Thirteen, Tenya Ida, Ochako Uraraka, Mezo Shoji, Lie Ren, Hanta Sero, Rikido Sato, and Mina Ashido

Thirteen's cry could be heard even at the central plaza, even as Pyrrha and Aizawa continue to fight.

"That sounded like Thirteen!" Pyrrha exclaimed. Aizawa gritted his teeth, as he had heard it too.

"Continue fighting!" he urged. "If we lose our focus now, the enemy could use that against us."

Pyrrha was uncertain but steeled herself. "Okay!"

Aizawa gazes at Tomura, Roman, and the brain guy, none of them have moved from their since they have arrived. Aizawa does know about Roman, as Roman is a well-known career criminal. But the other two are an enigma. It's possible that the thing with an exposed brain could be someone with a strength-based Quirk, but that still leaves questions about the man covered in hands. "Damn it!"

USJ: Central Plaza – Shouta Aizawa (Eraser Head) and Pyrrha Nikos (Achillea)

Izuku braces himself within the black mist, unaware of where he was going.

"What's happening? Where am I going?"

The mist dissipates and Izuku finds himself high above the Flood Zone. Now out of the mist, gravity sets in and Izuku falls. Thinking quickly, he holds his breath before hitting the water. He takes a moment to process before swimming up towards the surface. Unfortunately, he becomes a target for a fish-like villain swimming towards. Thankfully, Tsuyu, holding Mineta, blindsided him.

"Asui?!"

"Midoriya!" Tsuyu exclaimed in the water, her frog Quirk allowing her to do so. Tsuyu unleashes her tongue to grab Izuku and swim towards the ship, where Jaune was waiting for her on board.

"Guys!" Jaune exclaimed when he sees Tsuyu, Izuku, and Mineta emerge from the water. Tsuyu uses her tongue to put Izuku on board with Jaune's help. "You okay?"

"Uh, yeah. Thanks," Izuku said. Waterlogged, a little chilled, and anxious from their current situation, but otherwise okay.

Tsuyu then uses her tongue to throw Mineta on board before climbing in herself. "Phew. Looks like we're all here." Izuku looks around.

"Wait, this is it?" he asked.

"Looks like it," Jaune said, saddened of the revelation himself. "I guess the others are scattered around somewhere else."

Izuku looked down at his hands as he remembered how he tried to reach for Ruby.

"I was so close. Rose was within my grasp, but I wasn't…"

"I'm sorry, Arc," Izuku lamented.

"What for?" Jaune asked.

"Rose was right there, but I wasn't able to reach her in time."

Jaune gives him a comforting smile. "I'm not angry, Midoriya. It was beyond your control. And don't worry about Ruby. She can handle herself."

"Yeah! Save that worry for us! We're surrounded!" Mineta exclaimed, waterfall of tears streaming down his face. They see that the boat they are on was surrounded by villains in the water.

Flood Zone – Izuku Midoriya, Tsuyu Asui, Jaune Arc, and Minoru Mineta

There wasn't much Koda could do in a dark, rainy environment except to run as a villain tries to attack him. Luckily, Tokoyami comes in clutch and strikes the villain with Dark Shadow.

"Are you alright?" the bird boy asked. Koda nodded. "Good. Now, stick by me. We won't know when an enemy will attack!"

USJ: Downpour Zone – Fumikage Tokoyami and Koji Koda

Ojiro smacks his tail against a villain. "Where is everyone?" he wondered. He starts his search for any of his classmates, being mindful of the inferno surrounding him.

USJ: Conflagration Zone – Mashirao Ojiro

"I thought I could lend Todoroki a hand, but…" Hagakure trailed off as she peers around a giant rock. She sees that Todoroki is freezing every villain attacking him. "…something tells me he has it taken care of…Brrr! I'm cold!"

USJ: Landslide Zone – Shouto Todoroki and Tooru Hagakure

Momo creates pipes for her, Kaminari, and Jiro to fight with. Kaminari looked close to having a panic attack.

"Aw, maaan!" Kaminari wailed as the villains grew closer.

USJ: Mountain Zone – Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyoka Jiro, and Denki Kaminari

"Out of my way!" Bakugo shouted as he blasts an enemy. Kirishima strikes another with his hardened arm and Nora uses her hammer to hit one more. They were in a tight spot, having been teleported inside of a building as they are surrounded by more villains, making the already tight spot tighter.

Bakugo growled. "I said get out of my way!"

USJ: Ruins Zone – Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, and Nora Valkyrie

Ruby finds herself in a patch of woodland. Tall trees at every direction. "Am I…outside?" She looks up towards the sky to see the ceiling of the USJ. I guess not." She looks around. "Jaune? Midoriya? Ida? Ochako? Tsu? Are you guys here? Hello?" She was given no answer. "Where are they? Am I the only one here?" She takes a deep breath and yells, "Helloooooo—"

"Rose!" Ruby jumps at the shout and whirled around to see Weiss emerging from the bushes.

"Schnee? Oh, thank goodness! I thought I was the only—"

"Just what do you think you were doing?" Weiss chided.

"Um…looking for my friends?" Ruby replied slowly.

"And shouting to the sky, which would also lead the enemy to your location, was your brilliant idea?" Weiss condemned.

Ruby blinked. "You came over because of it, right?"

Unbeknownst to them, there was rustling in the bushes behind them, and villain appeared with an axe.

"D-Don't turn this into a good thing. It's a bad thing. A very bad thing!" Weiss scolded to Ruby like she was a child.

Weiss' tone started to get on Ruby's nerves. "Well, I don't see you coming up with any brilliant ideas!"

Weiss flustered. "O-Of course, I do." She sees the villain raising his axe and gasps. "And that plan is to duck!"

Ruby turns in time and ducks the villain's attack. The villain goes to strike again until a laser beam shot through the air between them. It blinds the villain and the man started swing around haphazardly. Ruby's eyes trailed to a belt around the villain's waist.

"Schnee! His belt! You can use it to—"

"Don't tell me what to do!" Weiss snapped. Ruby shrinks back, feeling hurt, as Weiss dashed. She dodges the swing and goes to cut the belt and used it to tie the villain's hands. She dusts her hands off. "There!"

Ruby glowered at her. "So, who's beam was that just now?"

"Bonjour!" The girls turn to see Aoyama striking a dazzling pose. "It is I who unleashed my magnificent beam!"

"…Aoyama?"

USJ: Woodland Area – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yuga Aoyama

USJ: Flood Zone – Izuku Midoriya, Tsuyu Asui, Jaune Arc, and Minoru Mineta

Jaune returns to the side of the ship the others were on from checking around. "They're everywhere. It looks a stealthy escape would be impossible."

"See? We're dead! We're so dead!" Mineta wailed, fluids from every orifice on his face spilling through. "I can't believe that I'm gonna die without ever getting to feel Yaoyorozu's booobiiieees!"

Jaune deadpanned. "And suddenly, I know what kind of person you are."

Tsuyu noticed Izuku looking over the starboard, deep in thought. "Something on your mind, Midoriya? Ribbit."

"They're not attacking us," he said. Tsuyu looks at the villains, now noticing that none of him had moved since they have come aboard the ship.

"You're right."

"But, why?" Jaune questioned. "We're students. We're not to the level of pros yet. Why be cautious unless…"

"…Unless they don't know about our Quirks," Izuku concluded. "That's it. It makes sense! If they knew about our Quirks beforehand, then Asui—"

"Tsu," Tsuyu corrected.

"—then Tsu wouldn't've been sent here."

"Ribbit." Tsuyu looks at the building for the Conflagration Zone. "If they had known that my Quirk works better in the water, then they would have sent me to the Conflagration Zone."

"And they would have sent me somewhere more isolated," Jaune said. "Or maybe try to force me to use my Quirk on them."

"Why?" Izuku asked. He never had the chance to ask Ruby what Jaune's Quirk was, just that it was an accumulation type of sorts.

"My Quirk allows me to amp up other people, from strength and stamina to even their Quirks," Jaune explained. "It's basically a much safer version of that Trigger drug that was going around a few years back." A Quirk that can enhance other people? That could be useful to get out of here. He just needs to know the other's Quirks.

Izuku turns to Mineta. "What's your Quirk?" He has an inkling about Tsuyu's Quirk, as she exhibited a number of frog-like traits. But, not so much on the stout student, except for that he could pull those balls off his head and bounce off of them. Like he did for the Quirk Apprehension Test.

"I can pull off the balls on my head and they can get really sticky…Why are you asking?" The look on Izuku's face has Mineta go into a panic. "No. No. Nononononono. You can't be serious! We are not fighting real villains!"

"We don't have any other choice," Izuku insisted. "Eventually, the bad guys will grow tired and decide to attack."

"Then what's the plan, huh?"

"Does it involve you breaking a bone again?" Tsuyu asked.

"…Maybe…" Izuku said. More like definitely. He still has little control over the output. "But, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make if it means all four of us getting out of this alive!"

"Please, don't say that!" Mineta yelled.

Izuku ignores him. "I also have to be careful, so I don't accidentally kill anyone! Maybe I should try to channel One for All into my finger again. At least I could only be damaging a small part of my body."

"I might have an idea that could help, but I'm not sure if it could work," Jaune said.

"Let's hear it."

At this point, any plan could be considered.

The villains continued to wait in the water for any movement from the ship.

"They haven't done anything yet. Should we attack now?"

"…I don't know. We still have no clue what they're capable of."

"How come we didn't get any info on the students?"

"We were pressed for time. That commotion only gave us enough time to get a schedule."

One of them scoffs. "Like it matters. They're a bunch of brats."

"They are also UA students."

"We at least know that the girl in green seems adept in water." It was the same fish/shark thing from earlier, still nursing a welt on his face.

"That's just her though."

One of them shouts in frustration. "Why are we just waiting around? They are kids! Brats! Practically infants compared to us! Let's climb on board and kill—"

They hear an ear-piercing scream come from the ship. They look to see Izuku standing on the railing, screaming his lungs out. His body has a slight, white glow.

"What the hell is that kid doing?! And why is he glowing?"

"DIIIIEEE!" Izuku shouted, emulating one Katsuki Bakugo. He notes how he acted like Bakugo for the moment. It at least helps with getting his nerves in check.

"Die?!"

Izuku aims his hand at them, his fingers ready to flick. The glow around his body started to focus more into his hand. "I've only got one shot!" He shouts, "You guys ready?"

Jaune is boosting Tsuyu while she has a hold on him and Mineta. "We're ready!"

"Ribbit!"

"Let's just get this over with so we can get the heck out of here!" Mineta demanded.

"Right!" Izuku said. He leaps into the air and charges One for All. "Delaware…Smash!" He unleashes the shockwave, sending himself flying. Tsuyu jumps high in the air, thanks to Jaune's boost and uses her tongue to grab Izuku.

Mineta starts throwing his hairballs in the water. "Take that, you nasty, dirty villains!"

"You okay, Midoriya?" Jaune asked.

Izuku winces a little. "…Yeah. I'm bruised, but nothing is broken!"

"Looks like the plan worked out," Tsuyu said. "Now, let's get out of here!"

USJ: Flood Zone Battle Result – Victory for the students

UA High School: Hallway – Toshinori Yagi

Finally free from Nezu's lecture, Toshinori goes to meet with Ozpin and the associate.

"You are a teacher now, All Might. You must start thinking about your students rather than the villains that plague the streets. Let the other heroes handle it."

Toshinori sighs. "Nezu's right. The students take priority over low-ranking crimes. I'm getting too reckless. Although…"

He thinks of the conversation he had with Pyrrha yesterday.

"Mind if I ask why it took so long to accept?"

"…I wasn't ready to face reality. I wanted to remain the Symbol of Peace so everyone could be at ease with their lives."

Toshinori's eyes seems to dim slightly. "That...was only half of the truth. The other was Nighteye's prediction. Gruesome death by a villain in six to seven years as him making that prediction. Which means, it could happen this year or the next…I…was strangely at peace with it. Knowing the specifics of my death, I could go about my business without worry for my life for the time being." He thinks about Izuku and Ruby. "Until then, I will do what I can for the next generation of heroes." He reaches his destination, the vice-principal's office. Ozpin's office. "Speaking of…"

He enters the office, taking the different shades of green in the décor. "I have arrived. Sorry for the wait." Sitting on the one couch was Ozpin. Across from him, seating in an armchair, was a man in his mid-20s with a dark skin tone with long greenish-black hair tied in a bun and blue eyes.

"It's alright. The detective and I was having a nice chat about All Might's heroism today," Ozpin said.

Toshinori closes the door behind him. "Is that right?"

Ozpin clears his throat. "Some introductions are in order. Toshinori, this is Detective Marrow Amin, the person whom I hired to investigate Aldera Junior High. Detective Amin, this is Toshinori Yagi, All Might's secretary manager and UA's new secretary."

Marrow rises to shake hands with Toshinori. "Nice to meet you," the older man greeted.

"Likewise. It's an honor to meet someone who works directly under the Symbol of Peace," Marrow said as he returned to his seat on the armchair.

"Thank you." Toshinori sits next to Ozpin. "So, you're here to discuss what you found out at the school?"

"That's right. Although, no offense, but I thought I was going to be speaking with All Might about this," Marrow said. "He was the one who requested it, after all, seeing at it concerns his students."

"True, but he's currently occupied at the moment. I'm here to discuss the matter with you and inform him later."

"If you say so."

Toshinori decides to get to the main topic. "I take it that you've got enough information?"

Marrow's demeanor seems to have changed to something akin to mental exhaustion. "You'd be surprised with what I was able to gather in just this morning alone."

"Like what?"

"You know how there are laws against Quirk use within campus grounds of schools without a hero course due to safety concerns?" Marrow quizzed. After receiving a nod from Toshinori, he continued. "Well, from what I saw at Aldera, the teachers either enforce the law minimally or none at all."

"What do you mean?"

Marrow takes out a small notepad. "Where to start? When I arrived there, I saw one kid scale the walls of the building to get to a room on the third floor. Then, I caught two kids racing each other with their speed quirks down the hall and they would have run into another kid if I haven't intervened. I even saw a kid lighting a match with a fire Quirk. I spoke with the teachers there about the matter, but they were shockingly dismissive about it, saying that they weren't hurting anyone."

Toshinori couldn't believe what he was hearing. He wonders how Izuku was able to survive such an environment when he was Quirkless.

"That's a serious safety code violation," Ozpin said. "Someone could get dangerously hurt if they're not careful."

"That's what I said. Keep in mind that the school principal was informed of me arriving," Marrow said. "I was about to leave right then and there to report, but then I saw something else. There was this kid with no visible Quirk that I could see, but her eyes looked like compound eyes, like an insect. And she was…she was getting bullied. A bunch of other students were ganging up on her, making fun of her eyes and calling her all sorts of names."

"That's…awful," Toshinori said, feeling sympathetic despite not having to have even met the child.

"And get this, when I informed the principal about that, he said that I was looking at it wrong, that it wasn't bullying but friendly roasting." It was clear Marrow was troubled by what he had experienced but tries to be professional. "He went on to say how it was no different from two of his students who graduated this year to attend UA, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo."

The mention of his students had grabbed more of Toshinori's attention. He recalls Izuku's mentioning of Bakugo's treatment towards him while they were training. "Did he say anything about them?"

"A fair amount, actually," Marrow said. "He was proud that two of his students were accepted into UA. He spoke very highly for Katsuki Bakugo, talking how he was a born to be a hero, but when he spoke about Izuku Midoriya, it was different." Toshinori rose a brow. "He sounded like he was praising Midoriya, but it came off more as patronizing, especially when he made a remark about Midoriya being thought as Quirkless."

Toshinori thinks about Izuku and how callous he was to him about his dream when they first met. And that was the problem. Izuku had called himself 'a defenseless, Quirkless kid' and seems to have a low opinion of himself, clearly lacking in confidence. True, he was more worried about the kid's safety, but what Toshinori should have kept in mind was how Izuku was feeling. "I…see…"

Marrow seems to have taken noticed of Toshinori's slouching posture, a hand over his mouth as he dived deep into his own thoughts. "Is everything okay, Mr. Yagi?" he asked. Ozpin gives a sideways glance to his friend.

"Y-Yes. It's just…I'm honestly shocked how bad Quirkless discrimination has gotten over the years after I was in middle school…" Toshinori admitted.

"What was it like for you?"

Ozpin and Toshinori exchange glances before Toshinori answered, "…Believe it or not, I'm Quirkless as well."

Marrow blinked. "Really?"

"That's right." Toshinori Yagi, All Might's secretary manager, was revealed to the public as a Quirkless man. "When I was young, there was still a large abundance of Quirkless folks. Sure, I was teased for having fantasies of becoming a hero, but it never went anywhere from there. And here I am, four decades later, working with heroes."

"Forty years? You don't look that old," Marrow chuckled. Ozpin did too.

"Th-Thank you," Toshinori flustered, rubbing his neck. "Back to the topic at hand, after hearing all of this, perhaps we should inform the board of education."

"Already ahead of you. Spoke with them while I was waiting for you, and they'll launch a more formal investigation."

Ozpin smiled. "That's good to hear." The men rise up. "Thank you for coming all this way to inform us, Detective Amin."

Toshinori gave a look of apology. "I'm sorry that you couldn't meet All Might in person."

"That's fine. Like I said earlier, just meeting someone who works directly under All Might is just as honoring," Marrow said. It took him a moment to realize that his canine tail was wagging. He grabs it to stop. He chuckled bashfully. "S-Sorry. Part of my mom's dog Quirk." He clears his throat in order to give him time to save his professionalism. "I hope you gentlemen have a fine day."

"Same to you as well, detective," Ozpin said. Marrow leaves. Ozpin notices that Toshinori was deep in thought again. "Something on your mind? Is it about Midoriya and Bakugo?"

"This is more complicated than I realized," Toshinori said. "Though, it would explain their mannerisms and general attitude."

"Do you propose that we should arrange them an appointment with Hound Dog?" Ozpin wondered.

"That might be the best option."

Ozpin moves to leave. "I'll make a call with their parents about the arrangements. In the meantime, you have an appointment with Power Loader, I believe."

Ozpin words had Toshinori check his phone and finds a text from Power Loader that was sent to him a few minutes ago.

Power Loader: It's fixed.

"That was fast," Toshinori observed. "Well, after this, I'll head over to the USJ to see how things are going. With Aizawa, Thirteen, and Young Nikos there, they're probably doing fine…I hope…"

USJ: Mountain Zone – Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyoka Jiro, and Denki Kaminari

The kids continue to defend themselves from the villains. Well, Jiro and Momo are while Kaminari ran around like a chicken with its head cut off. Granted, the villains fail to catch him, so it remains effective.

As she swung her pipe, Jiro notices that Momo was apprehensive about something. That something was very likely about Weiss. "So, you're friends with Schnee?" Jiro asked, trying to not give a biting edge to her words. From Momo's words and mannerism from earlier, the taller girl seems at least nicer than Weiss.

"I know what you must be thinking. That…that Weiss is an awful person. She isn't. Or at least, not before we came to UA," Momo insisted. "She truly wanted to become a hero to help people. I don't know what happened to make her act the way she did, but I do have an idea." She stops talking for moment so she and Jiro could fight back. Kaminari was running around, screaming. "I'm sure you've heard the rumors surround the Schnee Support Company, yes?"

"Shady dealings and the like? Yeah, I have. Wait, are they actually true?" asked Jiro. She wasn't really into the conspiracy theories surround the SSC. Her animosity towards Weiss was more for her cold attitude.

"I can't say for sure, but I will say that the current CEO of the SSC isn't exactly…nice. Especially to his children." While Momo wasn't sure about the credibility of the rumors, she knows about Jacques emotional manipulation on his children. Something that Weiss had once told her. "All Weiss wants to do is restore the honor her family once had. That's why she wears her hair the way she does. To defy her father. Clearly, she's lost her way. However, as a future hero and Weiss' friend, I'll do what I can to steer her back."

Jiro, for the first time, felt guilt for her treatment towards Weiss. "I…guess we all made assumptions without getting to know the full story. Still, I'm not ready to forgive her just yet. Yeah, she probably had a crappy childhood, but that doesn't excuse her actions. If wants forgiveness, she's going to have to earn it!"

Momo nodded. "Understandable."

"Can we please focus on the fact that we are still in danger?!" Kaminari exclaimed, tears pricking from the corners of his eyes.

"We have to get out of this alive!" Momo declared. "I…I don't want our last conversation to be a disagreement!"

USJ: Central Plaza – Shouta Aizawa and Pyrrha Nikos. Arrival of Izuku Midoriya, Jaune Arc, Tsuyu Asui, and Minoru Mineta

Izuku, Jaune, Tsuyu, and Mineta are trudging through the water to reach the edge of the pool and away from the sinking ship and trapped villains.

Mineta sagged in the crook of Tsuyu's arm. "I can't believe that we made it out alive…"

"Ribbit."

"How's your fingers, Midoriya?" asked Jaune.

Izuku looks at his fingers. There was a visible red color to them, but not as dark as it would've been. "Bruised, but nothing is broken. All thanks to your Quirk."

Jaune smiles. "I'm glad that it worked out."

Izuku nodded. "Thanks to Arc's Amp, I was able to use One for All without hurting myself too badly. That's all well and good, but I can't keep relying on Arc's Quirk."

"Where should we go from here?" Tsuyu asked. "Pretty much everywhere is a battlefield."

Mineta starts to tear up again. "We're not gonna get in another fight, are we?"

"It's probably for the best that we wait it out until help arrives," Jaune replied.

"If it arrives in time," Tsuyu said.

"Stop being so morbid!" Mineta complained.

"We're close to the central plaza, where Mr. Aizawa and Nikos are fighting," Izuku noted. "I was worried that Mr. Aizawa couldn't handle it on his own because of his fighting style, but with Nikos fighting with him, I think they stand a better chance."

"I'd say so, look." Jaune pointed at the pair as they fought against the villains, which are steadily getting fewer in numbers. All the while, Tomura and Roman continue to observe, not noticing the new arrivals.

Tomura grumbled to himself as he scratched at his neck. "That Erasure Quirk sure is annoying and those goggles make it so that you won't know who he's looking at. But, after watching him fight, I've noticed something. His hair. Eraser Head's hair starts to float. That's when he's using his Quirk. I've been counting the seconds between the moments and they're getting smaller." His eyes moved away from Aizawa and lands on Pyrrha. "As much as I would like to take him out, I think the better target would be All Might's little sidekick, Achillea."

He sprints into a run towards her.

"Achillea, real name Pyrrha Nikos, who hails from Greece, a place regarded as the home of ancient heroes," Tomura recalled. "She is perhaps the youngest hero to graduate in history at the age of 16. I wonder how All Might would feel when he finds Achillea nothing but ash in the wind!" A wicked smile twisted on Tomura's face. "Since he hurt Master, it's only right that I do the same to his ward!"

He goes to grab Pyrrha, aiming for her head. Pyrrha had somehow saw him coming was able to leap away from his impending grasp. Aizawa saw and tries to use his scarf to save her, but Roman uses his cane to stop it.

"Now, now. Don't be hasty, Eraser Head," Roman smirked. "How about you and I have a little chat. You could use the break as I would imagine that your eyes maybe hurting at this point. Let's let the kiddies play, eh?" Aizawa glared his severely blood shot eyes at Roman before moving to attack, thus sparking a fight between the two.

As Pyrrha tries to keep her distance from Tomura, she parries away the thugs. Unfortunately, Tomura manages to reach for her face and Pyrrha blocks Tomura's hand with her arm. He starts snickering and Pyrrha notices the fabric covering her arm starting to dissolve. She tries pull herself from Tomura's grasp, but he held on tight.

"You're not going anywhere, Achillea." Tomura's tone was chilling, causing goosebumps to develop all over Pyrrha's body. She could feel her heart thumping as the 'flight' instinct started to kick in. "Let's see just how invincible you are." Pyrrha's long glove dissolved away and now her skin started to dry and crack. She frantically tries to pull away, but Tomura's hold was vice-grip tight. Soon, the broken skin crumbles away to reveal the muscles beneath.

Alarms blared in Pyrrha's head as she instinctively kicks Tomura in his stomach, her heel digging in for good measure. This was enough to get Tomura to let go and Pyrrha takes the opportunity to move away as far as possible from the deranged individual.

Izuku and his group saw the damage on her arm. With the way Pyrrha gnashed her teeth together and the perspiration dripping down her face, she was in a lot of pain. Most of the skin of her forearm was gone, revealing the muscles and tendons beneath. Izuku covers his mouth to not shout and give away where they are.

"Nikos…" Jaune muttered.

"Ribbit…" Tsuyu croaked worriedly. Mineta whimpered.

The moment Aizawa saw her injury, his vision turned red, and it wasn't just because of the hemorrhaging in his eyes. With newfound rage, Aizawa turns his sights on Tomura and went after him, putting distance between his stu—assistant and Tomura.

"This doesn't concern you, Eraser Head," Tomura glowered.

"When the main boss is targeting one of my students, it does," Aizawa said.

"How noble of you. Oh, and FYI. I am not the main boss. Nomu." The creature, Nomu, appears behind Aizawa. Before Aizawa could move, Nomu goes to grab him.

USJ: Entrance – Thirteen, Tenya Ida, Ochako Uraraka, Mezo Shoji, Lie Ren, Hanta Sero, Rikido Sato, and Mina Ashido

Ochako and Sero tend to a fallen Thirteen. "Thirteen…" Ochako muttered. Ren and Mina walk over. As did Tenya. The bespectacled young man could see the deep lacerations on Thirteen's back. Fear started to grip Tenya as doubt start to surface from his subconscious.

Kurogiri laughs. "It looks like there is nothing you children can do. You might as well accept the inevitable."

Thirteen, momentarily awake, struggled lift her head. Short, light brown hair as limp as her. She turned her ringed eyes to Tenya. "Ida…G…go…"

"But…" Tenya muttered. He glances over at his remaining classmates. They were all scared, frightened of the situation they were in, but their eyes held a look of defiance towards their predicament, bound determined to turn it around to their favor.

And Tenya wanted to do the same. He turned on his heels, activated Engine and makes a run for the entrance.

"And where do you think you're going?" Kurogiri inquired before moving to go after him, but Shoji appeared and used the webbings between his arms to hold him down

"Keep going!" Shoji shouted. And Tenya did just that, refusing to look back.

Shoji gets pushed back by Kurogiri forcefully, the mist man freeing himself and goes after Tenya again. At that moment when Kurogiri freed himself, Ochako notices something metallic in the mist. She runs to him, made herself weightless and jumps in the air to get close. She releases and makes contact with the metallic object, using Zero Gravity again to make Kurogiri weightless.

"The fact that you have this on you means that you have a physical body!" Ochako surmised. Now that she made him weightless, she tosses him in the air. "Go! Ida!" Tenya didn't slow down as his Engines went into his next gear. Meanwhile, Kurogiri struggled to regain his control.

"It's fruitless!" he exclaimed. Then, Ren leaps in the air, thanks to Shoji being his platform, and kicks Kurogiri back. Sero shoots out his tape and it attaches to the metal object and Satou takes the tape to pull Kurogiri further away. Tenya reaches the door, pries it open and runs out as fast as he could.

Towards UA.

Kurogiri narrowed his eyes at his failure.

"…Game over."

USJ: Entrance Battle Result – Tenya Ida successfully escapes!

[Next Chapter…]

"Oh, stop it. You don't know where we are, either!"

"You believe in them, don't you?"

"…It wasn't me."

"Are you trying to be the big hero here, Achillea?"

So…Marrow Amin makes an appearance. I will say that he would appear very sparingly in the series. Probably as often as Sansa.

Mineta starts throwing his hairballs in the water. I could not think of a better way to say about his Quirk! Lol. The other choice was just saying 'his balls'!

I do wonder how many of you I made anxious with Pyrrha vs Tomura! ^^

I hope everyone has a safe Halloween! I may be an adult, that doesn't mean I can't be in a costume. Or a low quality Deku cosplay ^^

By the time of the next chapter, it would be after October 31, Ruby's birthday. So, happy early birthday to her. And Tokoyami! His is the 30th.

Lastly, I've been binge-watching MHA panels of the American voice actors and I love the fact that Sabat ships All Might x David Shields and All Might x Inko (mainly the latter I think). Lol…He want's Hisashi out of the picture! Lol!
