First, the cover for this arc was made by amerope over at Tumblr. I'm still giddy that someone did fanart for this! This person literally made my day a whole lot sweeter! I was initially planning to draw the covers in a World of Remnant style, because I want to draw for this story, that includes some scenes, it's just the matter of getting to it. But…the fact that someone went out of their way to draw me a cover…like hell I ain't gonna use it! It's awesome!

Alright, I'll try my hand at making my own quotes that adhere to the chapter and/or a character moment. If they wind up sounding similar to already existing quotes, I apologize!

Chapter 11: Hurry

Just when the students of class 1-A thought that they're main concern was the hard knock life of a high school student, the kids are suddenly fighting for their lives as villains have infiltrated the facility, the USJ. Thankfully, one group of student manages to escape the villains' clutches and one student was able to escape.

Meanwhile…

UA High School: Locker Rooms

Dressed in his LeMillion hero costume, Mirio sat on a bench, on his phone texting to one Ruby Rose.

Me: How was the rescue training?

As Ruby may be busy, it might be until the end of the rescue when she'll be able to check. Except, when he attempts to send the message, it fails. Like now.

"What's going on? That's the third time it failed. Is her phone off?" he wondered. "Then again, it is Aizawa. I'd rather her not get in trouble with him. Still…"

Why would the message have failed to send? He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

"Hey, Togata, let's go!" a classmate said.

"Coming!" Mirio replied. He looks at the off screen his phone again, gazing at his concerned reflection. Reluctantly, Mirio puts his phone in his locker and leaves for his heroic exercise.

USJ: Woodland Area – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yuga Aoyama

It has been a few minutes as Weiss, Ruby, and Aoyama are traversed through the greenery, with Weiss leading. Ruby didn't bother to argue since she had no idea where to go. Instead, she put her mind on other things, such as Aoyama's belt. She's occasionally glance at it. It was…shiny, which makes since due to the guy's apparent fixation on all things sparkly and shiny. The thing that Ruby was curious about was the fact that Aoyama seems to be always wearing it. She remembered seeing a glimpse of the belt underneath his gym uniform and again under his blazer.

Why?

"Is there something you wish to say, mademoiselle?" asked the sparkly blonde.

"…was I staring?"

"A little. But it looks like you were gazing at my glorious belt."

"Um…yeah, I was," Ruby admitted. "I noticed how you always seem to wear it. Why is that?"

"Why, so I could use my beautiful beam, of course!"

Ruby tilted her head. "Just from your belly button though?"

Aoyama shook his head. "Non. Thanks to my armor, I can release my laser from also my shoulders and knees!" He points at the orbs in those locations.

"Huh…how about putting another of those on your wrists?" Ruby advised. "That way you could shoot them in small bursts." She does finger guns. "Pew, pew!"

"Hmmm…a dazzling idea, petit rose. I'll keep that in mind," Aoyama smiled.

Ruby gives a thumbs up. "If you need any help with that, I'd be happy to lend a hand!"

"Merci beaucoup."

"Boku?"

Weiss has enough of this exchange and whirls around, frustrated with them. "Aren't the two of you aware of the situation we are in right now? We could be in danger of being attacked and here you are talking like we're having an evening stroll!"

"Well, it's better than freaking out!" Ruby retorted.

Weiss rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She turns back around. "Let's just keep moving."

"Do you even know where we're going?"

Weiss halted her walk. After a beat, she replied with a forced "Of course, I do."

"See? You took a moment to think! You don't know where we are!" Ruby accused.

"We're…in a woodland area," Weiss said matter-of-factly. "There are six zones in the USJ, plus the entrance. That means there are seven of the areas, each separating the zones from one another."

"That really doesn't tell us much if we can't see passed the tree lines."

"Oh, stop it. You don't know where we are, either!"

With his gaze upwards, Aoyama decides to speak up. "Mayhap we find higher ground –?" His words fall on deaf ears as the two girls bickered.

"At least I don't act like I know everything!" Ruby argued.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss asked pointedly.

"It means you're a big, stupid jerk! Didn't you learn anything from what happened in the bus? From what Yayorozu said to you?"

Weiss wavered at the mention before recollecting herself. She spins back around to continue the trek. "Whatever. Just keep moving."

"Why are you so mean and bossy?" Ruby irately asked.

Weiss again faces with indignation. "I am not! Don't say things like that!"

Aoyama tries again to speak up. "Um, ladies…?"

"Well, stop acting like you're perfect!" Ruby argued.

"I'm not perfect!" Weiss exclaimed. The declaration was enough to make it seem that everything went silently around them as Weiss glared Ruby down. "Not yet…but I'm leagues better than you." She walks away, officially done with Ruby.

Ruby was equally furious. "Yeah, have it your way, Bakugo."

"Uh, Rose?" asked Aoyama hesitantly. He jumps slightly when Ruby turns in the opposite direction.

"Whatever. Who needs her? I can do just fine without her," grumbled Ruby.

And Aoyama was left alone, conflicted as he looked side to side at the directions the girls went, nervously fiddling with his fingers.

"Aïe…"

USJ: Ruins Zone – Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, and Nora Valkyrie

Kirishima strikes down a villain as Nora protected him from another with a swing of her hammer.

"Thanks, Valkyrie!" the sharptooth young man said. Nora gives him a peace sign. Bakugo blasts another villain, the supposedly last one standing in the room. "These guys were endless! We can't waste any more time! We've gotta find our classmates! It is because of us that this even happened."

"Yeah! I gotta know if Ren is okay! He's probably so worried!" Nora said.

Bakugo growled. "You wanna track down everyone in this place, be my guess. But I'm gonna go rip that mist bastard a new one!"

"But that guy is made of mist," Kirishima pointed out. "There's no way you can beat him with physical attacks."

"Yeah. Have your brain cells blown up from all the screaming?" ask Nora, pointing at her head.

"Shut up! I wasn't done. The guy's our only way out and the villains' only way in. Cut that off and they're sitting ducks," Bakugo explained. Without warning, he moved and pushed Nora to the side before grabbing an unseen assailant. He blasts the villain, revealing the chameleon appearance. "These guys are small fries. If our classmates are taken down by these chumps, then they don't need to be here. Hell, even Petals can take these guys on."

"That was insane reaction time. Wait a minute. Since when were you calm and rational?" asked Kirishima.

Nora looked coy. "You're usually exhibiting traits of an explosive personality, Mr. Die-Die-Die."

"You're gonna die-die-die if you keep talkin', Thunder Thighs!" threatened Bakugo with bared teeth.

"There he is!"

Kirshima holds up his hands. "Hold on a sec. What you said earlier about our classmates." A toothy smile grew on his face. "You believe in them, don't you? You even complimented Rose!"

"Awww! You do care!" Nora cooed.

"Shut up! No, I don't! You are all extras to me! That includes Petals and Deku!"

USJ: Woodland Area – Weiss Schnee and Yuga Aoyama

After some walking, Weiss – with Aoyama following behind – finds a wall. At first, she wonders if it's inner side of the building and walks closer. When she did, she notices that the wall isn't connected to the ceiling.

"Is it one of the zones?" she asked herself. "If memory serves right, this would be the landslide zone. That means…" She looks at the ceiling. Now with a better view, she could see in what direction the ceiling starts to curve. Weiss faces the opposite direction of the landslide zone. "…in the opposite direction is the ruins zone." Looks at the grass below her. "There's a good chance that our classmates are in this zone. Hopefully that it's…Momo…"

Didn't you learn anything from what happened in the bus? From what Yayorozu said to you?

She…didn't…

Weiss didn't learn a thing, it seems. And here she is, thinking about Momo and worried for her safety and yet still ignore the words of her friend.

Would Momo want to see her?

While she is still acting so horrid?

But…

But…she…Weiss still has a test to pass, and such friendships and kindness would just get in the way. Perhaps it's best to cut ties with Momo…

…Right?

"Schnee?" Aoyama spoke for the first time in the last few minutes.

"What?"

"There is something very important I wish to share with you." Aoyama's serious tone was what caught Weiss' attention. In the last couple of days of knowing Yuga Aoyama, she could already tell that the blonde was flippant and, admittedly, annoying. And to hear such a stern voice from Aoyama, it was odd to say the least.

"What is it?"

"Schnee…" Aoyama suddenly strikes a pose. "Have you ever noticed how shiny my hero costume is? Pretty dazzling, is it not?"

Weiss blinked. "…What?"

"Speechless, hm? Of course, you'd would be! Who wouldn't be when something sparkly catches their eye?

"…Yes, it's nice, I guess. What does that have to do with…anything?" Weiss asked in confusion.

"It's made of light and durable metal, polished with excellent lacquer for increased dazzlement!" Aoyama winks.

Weiss blinks again. "Are you kidding me, right now?"

Aoyama then gestures to Weiss. "Come, Ms. Schnee! Come look at this fine piece of twinkling visage!"

Weiss rolled her eyes, but does so, for whatever reason. If it gets Aoyama to be quiet. She looks at the shiny armor. So shiny that she could see her own reflection. As heiress to one of Japan's (in)famous support companies, she wasn't impressed.

"Hm. Yeah. Very shiny. Very pretty. Now, can we get going?"

"Why not give it another look?" Aoyama insisted.

"Aoyama, I will pin you to this wall and leave you there if you don't explain to me what you are trying to do.

"To get you to take a good look at yourself in the mirror, of course. Sometimes, a person may need to have a better look at themselves."

Weiss remembers Momo's words. Weiss looks at herself again and takes in her facial expression. At first, she still couldn't see anything, until she saw her frustrated face as she was about to lose patience again.

She realizes just how much she looks like her father.

They hear rustling nearby. Aoyama backs up and Weiss brandishes her sword as he stood behind her.

"Who's there? You better show yourself!" Weiss demanded. She raises her free arm slightly to prevent a sneak attack against Aoyama. More rustling and a figure come out. Weiss and Aoyama gasp.

"Todoroki."

"Oh, it's you two," the mismatched young man said as he emerged from the foliage.

Weiss sheathes her sword back into her scabbard. "Where have you been?"

Todoroki nudged his head at the wall circling the landslide zone. "The landslide zone. I came over here when I heard yelling."

Weiss realizes that he may be referencing her fight with Ruby. "O-Oh. Um, was there anyone else with you?" She hopes it's Momo, so she could apologize. But Todoroki shook his head.

"No. I was the only one."

"I see…"

"I was able to get information from the thugs about this operation," Todoroki said. "We need to hurry go find Aizawa, Thirteen, and Achillea. Are you two the only ones here in this area?"

"No, there was…Rose!" Weiss looks around for Ruby. "Where is she?"

"I believe she may have headed over to the ruins zone!" Aoyama said.

"We need to hurry! …Wait, Todoroki. You can produce ice, right?"

"Yes. Why?"

USJ: Ruins Zone – Ruby Rose

"Just when you think you got through to someone, they still continue to act like a jerk," Ruby grumbled as she stomped through dilapidated streets. "This is Winchester all over again! Why do I even bother…?"

She was always taught to always try to see the good in people, either by Tai, Qrow, Yang, Toshinori, or even All Might. And she does. She tries so hard. But even Ruby has limits.

"I guess you really can't be friends with everybody…" Ruby lamented. She notices a group of villains down the road. She hides herself inside a nearby building.

"It looks like they're talking about something. But what?" Ruby ponders if she should get away. After all, it wouldn't be wise to try and fight a group.

Our reasoning for being here is to kill All Might.

"Not on my watch…"

She tries to activate the zoom feature on her goggles only to remember that she doesn't have them. Ruby instead stealthily made her way closer to the group. Entering one building to the next, she finds a spot a floor above the group and listens in.

"…and that's something I don't get. Why would Lady Maleke even bother herself with this?"

Lady Maleke? Who's that?

"She's gone soft. With All Might gone, we could rise to power again, that's what she's not understanding. That's the reason why I'd rather listen to Taurus than her."

Ruby breathed in sharply. "Taurus? As in Adam Taurus?"

She leans forward to listen closer. This causes some rubble to fall.

"What was that?"

Ruby quickly scurried back to get out of sight. Her back hits something hard and it didn't feel like rock or cement. She looks up to see a wolf like man staring down at her. The villains outside waited as the wolf man came out with Ruby in his grasp.

"Looks like we got ourselves a little eavesdropper," said one villain who wore round lens glasses. He takes a closer look at Ruby. He grabs her face and turn her head left to right. "Isn't this the girl he mentioned?"

"Looks like it, Perry," the wolf villain answered. Ruby wonders what they are talking about. Perry turns to look at the other villains, his hand still on Ruby's face.

"Get some rope so we can secure her," Perry ordered. "Torchwick said she's a squirmer." Alarms go off in Ruby's head. The Wicker Gentleman? Does he want to get back at her for interrupting his robbery? Without thinking, she bites Perry's hand, causing the bespectacled villain to shout in pain and let go. Ruby bites the wolf villain in his arm, and he let's go. She bursts through the crowd.

Her Quirk cancels and she starts running.

"After her!"

The villains chase her around the ruin buildings. As she ran, Ruby would pull down anything – loose streetlamps, fallen boxes, anything – to slow her pursuers.

"I can't fight all these guys by myself!" Ruby thought. "I need to find other people!"

She notices three figures faraway. As she got closer, she saw it was Bakugo, Kirishima, and Nora!

"Kirishima! Nora!" The ones whose names she shouted stopped to look. Bakugo did the same.

"Rose?" Kirishima wondered. It was indeed her and behind her was the large horde of villains. Seeing a friend in danger, Kirishima breaks into a run towards Ruby. "Rose!"

Up on top of a building, A villain with needles in his arms appears. He pulls his arms back as the needles extended before thrusting his arms and the needles are released. The needs pierced the pavement hard. One needle snags Ruby's cape and more stopped Kirishima from advancing further.

Ruby tries to free herself, pulling and tugging at her cape.

Kirishima attempts to push the needles away, but they were rigid and stiff. So, he opts to chop them down with hardened arms. "Get out there, Rose!"

"I'm trying!" The wolf villain jumps high to pounce her.

Kirishima reaches out. "Rose!" Something white zips pass him. Ruby readies to shield herself feebly from the impact…

Nothing happens.

She hears what sounds like ice cracking and sees small snowflakes flutter around her. She looks up to see Weiss before a wall of ice.

"Schnee?" wondered Ruby.

"…It wasn't me," Weiss replied.

"Huh?"

Weiss turns around. For the first since coming to UA, since their first meeting, Weiss looked at Ruby with…regret. "How the news press got the information from the Taurus Incident. I didn't say anything about what happened to Golden Hearth and Belle Noire."

"I thought you believed that Belle Noire was a criminal," Ruby said.

"I…still think that," Weiss admitted regrettably. "I did want to inform someone, but…I thought it could do more harm than good, especially since you seem to think so highly of her." She gave a mirthless smile. "Sounds contradictory, doesn't it?" She removes her rapier from the ice. "This is a less than ideal place for this but…I'm sorry. For everything. How I acted, how I treated you, your sister and her friend." She gives Ruby a hand. "Everything."

Ruby eyed at the offered hand. In an odd way, Ruby waited to see if Weiss was telling the truth. After a second or two passed, Weiss' hopeful expression changed. But it wasn't of anger or frustration. It was dejection. Dejected that she had ruined any hope for a glimpse of friendship.

Ruby grabs Weiss' hand before she retreated. Weiss gazed at her with shock and pulls Ruby back to her feet. Ruby looks at Weiss with a nice smile.

"Apology accepted."

Weiss returns the smile with her own. "From now on, I'll try to be more considerate." When she moves away, Ruby sees the wolf villain – the rest of the group – trapped by Weiss' ice.

"How did…?"

"I'll explain later. Right now, we need to get out of here," Weiss said, sounding less bossy with each word.

Ruby nodded. "R-Right…" She follows Weiss to meet up with Bakugo, Kirishima, Nora, Aoyama, and Todoroki.

"You okay, Rose?" Kirishima asked.

"Yeah, I am. Thanks to Schnee."

Nora eyed the villains stuck in ice. "So, what should we do about those guys?"

Weiss shook her head. "We can't waste time dilly-dallying with some no-name thugs."

"She's right," Ruby agreed. "We need to get out here and meet up with the rest of our class."

"Courir et vivre…Let's do that!" Aoyama exclaimed. Most of the students nodded in agreement before running. Bakugo glared at the villains. He was gearing up for another fight, ready to blast his way to strike, but Weiss was – dare he think it – faster than he is. Bakugo growls to himself before following the others.

UA High School: Development Studio

"I am here, Power Loader," Toshinori announced as he entered.

"Good timing. I was about to go find you," Power Loader said.

"Yeah, sorry. I was…kinda busy."

"Don't worry about it. I've had my fair shares of Principal Nezu's lectures." Power Loader hands Toshinori the fixed goggles. "Here's Rozuiro. All good as new."

"How bad was the damage?" Toshinori asked.

"Surprisingly minimal," Power Loader replied. "The only thing I had to replace was the initial lens with new lens that won't shatter easily. Still though, I'm impressed with the equipment. Rose would have been a great addition to the support course."

"Yeah. She, uh…she had inspiration." Said inspiration is now living on a moving island.

"Well, I hope she could at least take part in the support club."

"She might. Although, she might be busy with class officer assignments. Thanks again, Power Loader."

"Anytime."

After some goodbyes, Toshinori leaves the Development Studio and started down the hall. As he did, he examines the goggles. They looked the same as before, though more polished.

"Hey."

Toshinori looks behind to see Qrow sauntering to him. "Oh, Qrow. Shouldn't you be with your class?"

"I could be asking you the same thing," Qrow threw back, though he knew. "Goodwitch is with them right now, doing a joint training with Snipe and his class. Heard you're spent for the day from Oz."

"Ah…yeah."

"Judging from your expression, you already got Nezu on your case." Qrow huffed chortle. "Wait until Goodwitch gets you in her line of sight." Toshinori slouched. Glynda was already on his case about his absence at the orientation ceremony. There is very little doubt that that the woman is going to talk his ears off for his recklessness today. Qrow notices the goggles in Toshinori's hands. "Aren't those Ruby's?"

"They were broken, so I volunteered to get them repaired. I promised her that I'll bring them back to her," Toshinori explained.

"You going to the USJ to give it to her?" asked Qrow.

"That's the plan. And something else…"

Qrow's brow arched with piqued curiosity. "Oh yeah? What?"

My legs are starting to hurt…

My lungs feel like they're about to burst…

My eyes are stinging…

I can't slow down now…

Everyone is counting on me!

UA High School: Outside

"So that's the plan?" Qrow asked.

"Yeah. I figured it be the best course of action given everything that's been going on," Toshinori responded.

"Sounds like you got everything under control. So, how are ya gonna get to the USJ?"

"Like I always do, I'll morph into my muscle form and…oh." Qrow smiled sympathetically as he watched Toshinori's face turned sour.

"I take it that you didn't bring your truck then, huh? How about I give you a lift?" Qrow offered.

"You mean…you're going to fly me there?" Toshinori asked.

Qrow shrugged. "Why not? It's been a while since I did that. And you were 400 lbs. heavier last time, so this would be good for my back."

"Oh, I had no idea that I was such a heavy load," Toshinori joked. Qrow laughed.

"That's not what I meant, and you know—" Qrow notices something shiny behind Toshinori. "…what?"

Toshinori turns around to see something shiny coming. He uses Rozuiro to have a closer look. From the lens of the goggles, the tall hero could see the running figure of Tenya Ida coming their way.

"Young Ida?"

"Ingenium's kid brother?" Qrow asked.

Toshinori sprints into a run and Qrow follows after. A million questions ran through Toshinori thoughts: Why is Class 1-A's representative, a young man who a showed himself to be dedicated to his class and school, running at back to UA? Where is everyone else? Why did Tenya Ida look…scared? Seeing the men getting close, Tenya skids to a halt, almost tripping on his feet if Toshinori haven't steadied him.

"Young Ida, aren't you supposed to be at the USJ? Did something happened?" Toshinori asked. He tries to ignore the growing dread in his gut.

Tenya took a few breathes before speaking. "Villains… A horde… Communication jammed… Thirteen hurt…I…"

And that dread took residence in where Toshinori's stomach would be turned as Toshinori's mind goes blank with only Tenya's words repeating over and over again as he filled in the dots.

"Easy, easy kid. Take deep breathes," Qrow said to Tenya. The man watched as the blue haired took in shaky breathes. He could see tiny drops of frightened tears threatening to emerge of the corners of Tenya's eyes. "Get inside and tell the lady at the desk 'Code IVRE'." Tenya nods and goes inside the building. Qrow turns to Toshinori, who still as a statue. "I'm gonna fly ahead and see if I can help. You go back inside, Toshi. This is—"

"No."

"…No?"

Toshinori finally turns to face Qrow, fire burning in his eyes. "I'll go on ahead. You stay here. That way, you can carry as many people as you can."

"…You're going over there. Alone. Powered down and out of time. What are you going to do, force yourself into your muscle form?"

Qrow watched as Toshinori strains himself into his muscle form, his expanding muscles strained against his clothes and steam waft from his skin.

"Yes."

All Might leaps into the air.

UA High School: Ground Beta

"Excellent work, students," Glynda said to classes 3-A and 3-B. "I'm happy to see that you all did not shirk your training."

"Hardly a surprise," Snipe commented. "These students are indeed dedicated to their work. Right?"

"Yes!" the students exclaimed.

"I hope that vigor continues for our next lesson. We'll be—" Glynda gets interrupted when the IVRE Alert popped up on her tablet. "Snipe!"

"I got it too. Hadou, Amajiki, you two are in charge!"

"O-Okay!" Nejire responded worriedly.

"Let's hurry," Snipe said to Glynda. She nodded and they sprinted off.

The IVRE (pronounced Ivory) Alert. Stands for Invading Villains Riot Emergency. An alarm for teachers on the off chance that a group of villains are bold enough to infiltrate a UA facility.

Mirio wonders if Ruby is somehow involved.

"Ruby…"

UA High School: Teacher's Lounge

When it's said that the teachers of UA get the message, it means every teacher as the teachers in the lounge received the alert.

Midnight – Nemuri – peers over at her friend and colleague. Behind his shades, Hizashi's small brows crinkled together as his eyes stare the IVRE Alert. The older woman plants a comforting and firm hand on Hizashi's padded shoulder and the man turned to face her. While she can't see his eyes, Nemuri could feel his concern.

Concern for another friend.

"Let's go, Hizashi."

"…Right."

UA High School: 1-B Classroom

Vlad King was already out of the door when he receives the alert.

"Kendo, you take over!"

"Y-Yessir!"

As soon as he was gone, the students started chatting. One girl with hair like fluffy wool showed her concern when her sheep ears turn down.

"Do you think it's anything like what happened at lunch?" she asked, the student in front of her. The student was bright blonde and his monkey like tail was in the same color.

"I don't know. This seems more urgent. There hasn't been an announcement or anything."

A freckled girl with a bow on her head looks outside, deeply worried.

USJ: Central Plaza

Aizawa looks on in shock. It happened so quickly that he almost didn't see it happened. The thing that happened being that Pyrrha had shielded him and is now in the Nomu's grasp. She struggles against its grip as Tomura giggled dementedly.

"Oh? Are you trying to be the big hero here, Achillea?" he taunted. "You're really reminding me of All Might. And that makes me angry!" Nomu's grip tightens. Pyrrha grunts from the increased pressure. "But that's okay. Since All Might isn't around, I'll gladly have the pleasure to watch Nomu crush you into nothing more than bloody paste!" Nomu squeezes tighter. Pyrrha let's out a pained yelp.

Something snaps in Aizawa's mind and memories flashed.

Rain and thunder.

A broken gourd-like speaker.

Bloodied debris.

A crushed pair of goggles.

Someone was covered in bloody white sheet.

Aizawa immediately charges at Nomu. He uses Erasure and Nomu seemed to waver. Aizawa throws the end of his binding cloth, and it wraps around Nomu's wrist. Aizawa pulls himself towards Nomu. He pulls out his knife and stabs Nomu's arm. The thing shrieks in pain and its hold lessened on Pyrrha. Aizawa was quick to grab her and leaps away from Nomu.

"Is anything broken, Nikos?" he asked her. Pyrrha moves and winces.

"…I don't think so. Although, there is some pain in my arm…" she said. Aizawa looks at the arm closely. There was some discoloration, indicating that something is broken, though it doesn't appear to be as bad as a full fractor.

"It looks like it could be a partial fracture. Get to a safe place and –!" He sees Nomu charging at them. Aizawa pushes Pyrrha away and she lands, thankfully not on her injured arm. She looks up and gasps. From their spot in the water, Izuku, Jaune, Mineta, and Tsuyu watch in horror as the Nomu started beating Aizawa bloody.

Aizawa goes to use Erasure again on Nomu and it breaks arm.

"I know I erased whatever Quirk he had…that means he's strong without one…He could very much be as strong as All Might…" Aizawa thought as Nomu grabbed his head before proceeding to smash his face into the pavement, hard enough for cracks to appear.

"Aizawa!" Pyrrha exclaimed. She gets up and calls forth her shield. She moves to help but is blocked by Roman. The young students are frozen in terror.

"Mr. Aizawa…" Izuku muttered. He could feel his heart's beating picking up in speed, which seems to increase as he heard Tomura laughing sadistically. Then, Kurogiri materialized beside the maniac.

Since he's here, does that mean…

Izuku was afraid to finish that train of thought.

"Kurogiri, did you manage to kill Thirteen?" Tomura asked.

"She is currently incapacitated. Unfortunately, one student was able to escape. He is on his way to UA for reinforcement," Kurogiri informed. There was a pause. That sounded like good news for the class, but… the silence from Tomura was…stiff…almost suffocating. Then, the man started to scratch his neck vigorous, his brittle nails dug into his skin, making it raw.

Roman was visibly disgusted. "Ugh…"

Tomura growled. "You idiot! You fool! I should rot your every atom! There is no way we could win against a large number of pros, especially if the Great Wizard is among them." He suddenly stopped scratching. "It's game over. Let's get back to the menu screen and head out before they get here."

A quiet gasped escape as Mineta heard this.

"Y-You guys heard that too, right? They're gonna really leave?" He happily hugs Tsuyu. "We're gonna be okay!" Tsuyu probably wouldn't have mind it, as someone who is the oldest of three, but Mineta's hand was where it really shouldn't be. Pressed up against one of her ample breasts. While Mineta may (keyword: may) not be doing this on purpose, that doesn't stop Tsuyu from promptly dunking him in the water.

"Something doesn't seem right," Tsuyu said, acting like nothing has happened while keeping Mineta submerged.

"You're right. Why would they be wary of more pros when they claimed that they were here to kill All Might?" Izuku wondered. He remembers seeing Toshinori with Ozpin and Thirteen's hidden message. "Is it possible that they know that All Might has weakened? …No…From what that mist guy said, they only got information on the schedule. Not only that, but All Might also arrived back at the school after the press fiasco. Whoever got the information didn't get to see All Might's true form…"

"But, before we go," Tomura turned his gaze at Izuku and his group, "let's break the Symbol of Peace." Suddenly, he is in front of the kids and had grabbed Jaune's face. Izuku and Pyrrha get similar mental images of Jaune crumbling away.

"No!" Pyrrha exclaimed.

"Arc!" Izuku declared.

But nothing happened. Even after a second – one agonizing second for Jaune as his shaky eyes stared at the obscured face Tomura – no cracks or drying skin had occurred.

Tomura turns to where Aizawa and Nomu are. "I'll admit, Eraser Head…" Aizawa, despite all the blood and trauma, was still able to use Erasure on Tomura. "…You're so cool!" Seeing Tomura distracted, Pyrrha uses her shield to ram into Tomura. The pale man hit the ground skidding and one of his hands popped off.

"Are you okay, Arc?" Pyrrha asked, keeping her eyes on Tomura.

"Y-Yeah," Jaune responded. He looks at her arm, which hung limp.

Roman walks over to the motionless Aizawa and roughly presses his cane against Aizawa's head.

"Your students are so feisty," Roman said to the prone man. "Kids these days all wish to become heroes, thanks to all the glitz and glamour thanks to heroes like All Might for romanticizing the profession. In reality, heroes die by the end of their story. And the same will happen to these brats."

Aizawa doesn't respond.

Tomura picks up a hand that fell off him and places it back where it was. "You're so stubborn," he said, looking at Pyrrha. "You really are a disciple of All Might. And that pisses me off!" Nomu appears before her. Pyrrha gets ready to fight. "It's fruitless, Achillea! Nomu was designed with All Might's power in mind in order to kill him. You've already felt a mere fraction of his power earlier. What makes you think you could beat him?"

"Designed with All Might's power in mind?" Izuku wondered. He looks at Nomu. "This thing is supposed to rival All Might's strength?"

"Nomu, kill her," ordered Tomura.

Izuku gasps and dashes out of the water.

"Midoriya?!" Jaune declared.

"Midoriya!" Tsuyu and Mineta exclaimed.

Tomura blocks Izuku's path and was about to grab him.

That is until the entrance doors burst open.

[Next Chapter…]

"Where are you, Summer?"

"Crap…Mr. Aizawa…Achillea…"

"We made it!"

"Are you alright, Ruby?"

"I'm sorry, Rose!"

Hmmm. I wonder who arrived?

Next chapter will be the finale!

I don't have anything to say regarding this chapter.

But what I do want to say is that for anyone who has read my Guardians of Remnant series, I have finally come up with something involving that. I am, as of typing this, currently writing out the prologue/trailer whatever you want to call it.
