A few weeks have passed since the UA Entrance Exam.
Midoriya was happy to hear that Bakugo passed and is going to UA.
"I'm still concerned that you put a lot of the heroes under the care of a child. I'd prefer a real doctor." Rock Lock said while being patched up by Midoriya.
"Hey, I can hear you." Midoriya replies.
"He's as real as any doctor, plus, he worked hard to get to where he is... you did too, don't forget the feelings you felt during your journey to becoming a hero, Rock Lock." Doc said firmly.
Midoriya stopped paying attention as he carried on putting in the stitches with his arm's Stitch Stapler module.
"Code Red! Villains Approaching the Hospital!" the receptionist yelled through the intercom.
"Well, things escalated quickly..." said Doc.
"Here we go... again." Midoriya said as he got up and went to the front of the hospital.
The villains came barreling down the road in a truck, Midoriya identified and counted six villains in total with his Identi-Scan Vision.
"Huh, showtime." Midoriya said stepping out of the hospital confronting all six villains.
All six of them started laughing.
"A kid, stop us from raidin' this place? This is going to be easy!" said one of the villains.
"Underestimation, a weapon to turn against you." Midoriya said as he held his right arm out and let out a flash from his palm, blinding all the villains.
Before any of them could react, Midoriya used the closest villain as a stepping stone and kicked the second villain in the face, knocking him out instantly.
He lands a punch with his right arm on the third, breaking his jaw. Dashes out of the way of the fourth villain swinging his crowbar at Midoriya.
Midoriya kicks him on his lower back and instantly connects a reverse roundhouse to the back of the fourth's head with his other foot. Midoriya lands on his two feet while the fourth villain stumbles head first into a street lamp.
The fifth and sixth villain reached into the back of the truck while Midoriya finished off the first villain. They brought out an EMP, which they believed would be useful in stopping Midoriya's arm from working. The EMP detonated, shutting down all technology in a 5 kilometer radius. However, Midoriya's arm was still working.
"What? How is that possible?!" exclaimed the sixth villain.
"That's my secret" Midoriya said as he dashed behind the fifth and grappled him with his Extendable Hand and slammed him into the truck, wrecking it in the process.
The sixth villain pulls out a gun, but before he could use it, Midoriya landed an uppercut with his right arm and both Midoriya and the villain were launched into the air.
Midoriya finishes him off in the air with a Stun Shot to his face, propelling the villain back onto the ground with extreme force while Midoriya gained extra air time. This was a move Midoriya created as his own Ultimate Move. The Stun Shot acts like a rubber shotgun slug, but with a very powerful knockback force. The entire hand opens up between the middle and ring finger to reveal the Stun Shot barrel.
As Midoriya landed, he loaded another Stun Shot shell into his elbow.
"The threat has been neutralized" Midoriya said over the earpiece as he walks back to the hospital.
As Midoriya reaches the door, Heroes arrive on the scene, ready to fight, only to be greeted by six unconscious villains on the floor.
"Dr. Midoriya?! You were able to knock out all six of these delinquents?" Mt. Lady said as she looks at Midoriya.
"Yep, nothing special about these guys anyway, so it was easy." Midoriya said. "However, they did use an EMP to restrict my movement, it did stop me for a while, but I was able to do a quick reboot to make it look like it didn't affect me."
"Way too smart or your own good, eh, Midoriya." Doc said as he walked up to the heroes.
"Midoriya, get some rest, the police will deal with these guys" Doc said.
"Alright" Midoriya said.
"It's good to see you are back to your usual self Mt. Lady." Midoriya said as he left the scene and went back into the hospital.
"It's good to see you too, Dr. Midoriya." Mt. Lady replied.
"Hey, Doc, it didn't cross my mind until now, but how did Dr. Midoriya lose his arm?" Mt. Lady asked Doc with a solemn look on her face.
"Well, all I can say is that a villain attack was the cause, but there is more to the story, I think it's better if you ask him yourself. He'll have a more detailed answer for you." said Doc.
"What puzzles me is why a villain would do something so horrible to a kid..." Kamui Woods said to Doc.
"It's a cruel world, Kamui. Midoriya's eyes were opened to this reality too early into his life, and somehow still has the ability to smile through it..." Doc replied.
Doc and the heroes on the scene were now concerned for Midoriya.
The next day...
Midoriya got ready to go to his job at UA high as a field doctor, for the first day it was very uneventful.
Eventually, he got a job of overseeing the combat training for class 1A, making sure nobody got hurt.
To Midoriya's surprise, the teacher for the combat training was All Might.
He still has a grudge on All Might for denying him his dreams. As much as Midoriya tries to move on, he can't forget All Might's words.
"I never thought even once my entire life that I would actually grow to hate the number one hero." Midoriya thought to himself.
"Ready kid?" said a man in all black wearing a white bandage-like scarf around his neck.
"Yes, Mr. Aizawa. I'm ready" Midoriya replied.
Both Eraserhead and Midoriya walked over to the class in the test site.
"In case any of you get injured during combat training, the field doctor will be here to tend to any of your wounds." Aizawa explained in a deadpanned tone.
"Hi, Izuku!" said Bakugo and Uraraka in unison.
"Hey guys, be careful out there, I won't be able to treat a missing arm, you know..." Midoriya said jokingly while pointing to his right arm.
All Might was shocked to see the same boy from the rooftop in UA, as a field doctor.
This boy has definitely changed since All Might last saw him, He started to feel a little bit of guilt. He kept his face and carried on with the training.
The class was put into teams of two and one team of three, and the teams faced off against each other as heroes and villains, the hero teams were tasked to reach the bomb inside a building and touch it to win, while the villain teams had to keep them away from the bomb until time ran out.
The first match ended with Uraraka getting hurt by Bakugo's explosions, it was just a few bruises, but it hurt like hell.
Midoriya simply used another bandage with ointment on it to cool her down.
"You really don't back down, don't you, Bakugo?" Midoriya said.
"Sorry, I sometimes take things too far..." Bakugo replied with a hint of guilt in his voice.
"It's alright, over time you will know when to hold back" Midoriya said.
A few more matches go by without any injuries, but when it came to Shoto Todoroki, Ojiro and Shoji, they were both covered in ice.
Midoriya used the heatwave module in his arm and held it near them to thaw out the remaining ice.
"Any longer and you two would've suffered from hypothermia" said Midoriya.
"Thanks, Dr. Midoriya." Shoji said.
"Thanks, Doc, it was cold in there" Ojiro said.
"You know, if Todoroki were more open to teamwork, he would be great in helping everyone get used to hero work in extreme conditions. Even the best of this class has a lot to learn" Midoriya said.
Eraserhead was surprised that Midoriya was able to acknowledge Todoroki's flaws and the advantages he could bring to his team.
"This kid..." Eraserhead thought to himself with a smile.
Midoriya's fourth patient was none other than Denki Kaminari. His brain has fried due to overdoing his quirk.
"Whey!" Kaminari said with a dumb look on his face and both thumbs up.
"This is an interesting condition, this only lasts for a few hours?" Midoriya asks Eraserhead.
"According to what he said, that is correct, it'll wear off eventually." Eraserhead replied.
"Well, I can bring him back to normal right now with a little shot of this." Midoriya said as a syringe popped up out of his index finger.
"You can do that?"
"Yes. I created this sedative that can heal any injuries in a matter of seconds, watch." Midoriya said as he gives Kaminari a shot.
"Huh?" Kaminari said as he regains his train of thought.
"He's back? That was quick!" the students said in unison looking at the marvel of Midoriya's work.
"Wow, usually it would take me forever to get back to normal, thanks dude- I mean... Dr. Midoriya." Kaminari said.
"No problem, Kaminari, just a word of advice, maybe you should look into getting a support item to help you control your quirk. Wild tactics would only work for crowd control and even then, your brain can't handle that many volts" Midoriya explained.
"Sure, I'll look into that..." Kaminari said.
All Might is surprised at how intelligent Midoriya is.
"I clearly underestimated the boy, I should've gotten to know him better before answering his question that day." All Might thought to himself.
The combat training class has ended and it was time for Midoriya to go back to Recovery Girl's hospital wing, he recorded the quirks of each student and decided to spend the night thinking of each of their uses, strengths, weaknesses, and possible ways of which to improve their performance.
"Guess you are taking over the role of teacher there, young man" Recovery girl said as she saw Midoriya's notebook.
"Oh, this is just something I do often, you could call it a hobby..." Midoriya said.
"However, this could also help me with treating each of the students with specific conditions they might get that only apply to them. My sedative may not work on everyone, so I have to accommodate to all of them." Midoriya explained.
"Hehe, very smart. Well, I'm off to get some rest, I suggest you should too" Recovery Girl said.
"Sure, I will." Midoriya said.
Midoriya ended the day off on a good note and was able to rest peacefully in his bed at home.
