Midoriya woke up into his usual morning routine. He braided his ponytail just like Yaoyorozu taught him and had a cup of tea. His duties as field doctor were uneventful for the most part. When it was his break time he went to principal Nezu's office to make a request.
"Ah. Dr. Midoriya. Please, come in" Principal Nezu said letting Midoriya in.
"Thank you, Principal Nezu" Midoriya said bowing in respect.
"So, how is your now permanent job at UA?" Principal Nezu asked.
"It's better than usual, somehow I feel a little more free to help out in other situations..." Midoriya explained with a smile.
Nezu was enlightened to know that Midoriya is getting along.
"Speaking of which, may I make a request?" Midoriya asked Nezu.
"Oh. Sure. What do you need?" Nezu replied to Midoriya.
"There are a few students from classes 1A and 1B who have requested my help in giving them extra training for their upcoming provisional hero license exam" Midoriya explained.
Nezu was happy to see that Midoriya was not just doing his job as a field doctor, but also as a part time teacher.
"Is it possible if I can borrow Gym Gamma for their training for tonight?" Midoriya asked.
"Hmm... I give you my full permission to use Gym Gamma for their training, just don't go training until late, alright?" Nezu replied giving Midoriya a piece of paper stating that he has permission to go into Gym Gamma at night hours.
"Thank you, Principal Nezu. I won't waste any more of your time" Midoriya said as he bowed and made his way to the door.
"No no, it wasn't a waste of time at all. If there are students who need help, I would never pass on an opportunity to give them the help they need. Now you go and have a good day, yeah?" Nezu said as he waved goodbye to Midoriya.
Midoriya waved back as he left the office.
Midoriya went back to Recovery Girl's office to hold the fort while she went on her break.
"Knowing everything Recovery Girl does here, I think she deserves this break" Midoriya thought to himself as he neatened the place.
"Recovery Girl? Are you here?" a girl's voice came from the entrance to the office. Midoriya could tell from her tone that she needed help with a medical situation.
"Recovery Girl is on her break, but I can help if it's urgent" Midoriya said making his way to the source of the voice. It was none other than Nejire, one of the big three.
"Oh, I heard of you... Dr. Midoriya right? Well, yes, it is urgent. I got this cut on my arm from hero work studies and..." Nejire said as Midoriya moved her hand out of the way to examine the cut.
"That's a pretty deep cut. I'll need to disinfect it and control the blood loss before patching it up" Midoriya said as he sat her down by the hospital bed.
"What's your blood type?" Midoriya asked Nejire.
"Type B" Nejire replied applying pressure to her cut to reduce bleeding.
Midoriya grabbed a type B blood pack and injected Nejire with it to maintain blood flow.
Midoriya brought out the disinfectant and started to apply it to the cut.
"This is going to hurt" Midoriya said bracing Nejire.
Nejire let out a small shriek and calmed own afterward as Midoriya applied the disinfectant.
He pumped a roll of his bandages and wrapped it around Nejire's arm.
"Woah! Where did that come from?" Nejire asked curiously looking at Midoriya's arm.
"I just have a few of these special bandages in supply at all times, just in case. The bandages have an ointment which should ease the pain, once the blood flow is no longer interrupted, I will patch you up and you'll be good to go" Midoriya replied.
"How did you get that arm, by the way?" Nejire asked curiously again.
"I... don't want to talk about it" Midoriya replied.
"And are those artificial eyes? Do you see differently from the normal eyes? Oh, and your ponytail looks cute too..." Nejire said with overwhelming curiosity.
"Eh..." Midoriya could not get a word in but was taken aback by the compliments she gave in between questions nonetheless.
Midoriya took an eyedropper with his sedative inside and put one drop into the cut. The blood stopped spewing out of the cut instantly and Midoriya took the bandages off to patch up the open cut with his Stitch Stapler module. He was surprised Nejire didn't respond to any of the pain while she was going on with her questions.
"And Done" Midoriya said as he made the final touches. The cut was stitched closed and no blood came dripping out anymore.
"Woah! I didn't even know that you were still doing that. Sorry, I get lost in my own curiosity..." Nejire said before being cut off by Midoriya.
"It's alright. And by the way, yes. My eyes do you see differently from other eyes, I have a total of ten different functions for my arm, not all of them are for medical purposes, it's useful for self defense, I've been in this profession for about a year, I was maybe sort of forced into it because I lost hope for my future, and thanks for the compliment on my ponytail. Yaoyorozu taught me how to braid it" Midoriya rambled on answering all of Nejire's curious questions.
"You remembered every question I asked you this whole time? Wow, you're a good listener... or do you also have artificial ears as well?" Nejire replied.
Midoriya let out a small chuckle.
"No, these are normal ears, and... I'm a curious rambler too, when I find something interesting, I talk aloud to myself about all of said thing's properties and how to improve their functionality" Midoriya explained to a star-struck Nejire.
"So, I guess we're the same in our own different ways huh? Well, see you around Dr. Midoriya. I got to go to class" Nejire said as she left the office.
"'til we meet again..." Midoriya said waving at Nejire who was waving back at him.
Later that night...
Cementoss created a city like terrain for Midoriya in Gym Gamma for the Speed Test. Midoriya tested out the course to see if he can do the test himself. Midoriya approves and waits for the students to arrive.
"Hi, Midoriya!" the students said in unison. The group was still Tokage, Manga, Shoda, Pony and Tetsutetsu, but this time, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Hagakure, the invisible girl, joined as well.
"Hey guys. Ready for the Speed Test?" Midoriya said from the top of the cement building.
"How did you get up there?" Tokage asked Midoriya.
"The same way you will. Make your way up to this building without your quirks" Midoriya said. "I'll be timing you".
Tokage made it up first, with Tetsutetsu and Kirishima not far behind, however the rest got tired very quickly.
"Okay... now that you made it up here, time for the course" Midoriya said.
"Wait, what was our times?" Tokage asked Midoriya.
"I'll let each of you know after the Speed Test, all you need to do is try your best to catch up with me" Midoriya said as he leapt from the first building to the next.
"Oh... come on!" Kaminari sighed trying to gather the energy to move.
The students followed Midoriya through the city rooftop terrain. Midoriya leapt from building to building and even used the walls to jump higher and take corners without losing momentum, the course went from the wide open outside to a crammed corridor space on the inside of a building.
Midoriya ran on the wall as he took the first sharp turn, he didn't even touch the ground as he did so. The students were stumbling around as they got to this corridor area.
Midoriya hopped on the cement railings and pillars to reach a balcony which is the highest point of the inside of the building. The gap between the footholds Midoriya used and the railing of the balcony was large and the only way to reach that gap was to go higher up the pillars.
Tokage made it, but the rest stopped by the entrance of the room.
"Come on guys. Aren't you going to make it to the balcony?" Midoriya asked the students.
"Uh, that's too complicated" Kirishima said looking at the pillars.
"Yeah, but it doesn't mean it's impossible. You just need to take that leap of faith" Midoriya said.
The rules of the Speed Test were no quirks allowed, so only Tokage could have made it as far as Midoriya.
"Okay, I'll help the rest of you figure out how to make this jump over time, the Speed Test will continue another time" Midoriya said making his way back to the group.
The last few hours were spent helping the group learning how to wall run, tic tac, safely land and climb more efficiently without using too much of their energy.
Hagakure wanted to have a go at the near impossible jump again and made it by a hair.
Midoriya was proud of Hagakure for improving so quickly.
It was time for them to leave Gym Gamma and go to their dorms to rest.
The weekend came by and the group came back together to try the Speed Test again. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima were the next two to make the jump.
Tokage, Hagakure, Kirishima and Tetsutetsu were doing the whole Speed Test again, this time they were timed by Midoriya while the rest practiced the jump.
After a few days of the Speed Test, the times have improved, and Manga was the next one to make the impossible jump.
The final day came when Midoriya stood in front of the group on the cement building. All of the students were now able to make the jump and were ready for the real Speed Test.
"Ready?" Midoriya asked the group.
"Ready!" the group said in unison.
"Just try to keep up" Midoriya said as he started running.
Everyone was able to keep up with Midoriya for the most part.
The jumps, wall runs and tic tacs were perfectly in sync as the group followed. Tokage even overtook Midoriya, but he quickly took back the lead when it came to the crammed corridor area.
Even as the students were gaining ground, Midoriya was still too fast for them.
The final jump came, and each of them did exactly what Midoriya taught them. Hop off the railing, tic tac across the gap between the two pillars, climb higher on the second pillar and push off towards the balcony. Everyone made it to the end and Midoriya couldn't help but smile.
"Good job, now..." Midoriya said catching his breath and taking out a stopwatch.
"3 minutes, for all of us to reach the end of the Speed Test. Before today, Tokage's best was 4 minutes and 6 seconds. Kirishima's best, 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Hagakure's best, 4 minutes and 23 seconds. Pony, 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Tetsutetsu, 4 minutes and 35 seconds. Manga, 5 minutes exactly. Kaminari, 5 minutes and 1 second. Finally, Shoda with 5 minutes and 10 seconds. All of you have improved drastically" Midoriya said reading out the times on his eyes' interface.
The group let out a cheer.
"The Speed Test has helped you all with your reaction times and overall speed. Next time, you'll be performing your ultimate moves on me" Midoriya said as he packed up and left Gym Gamma with the group.
"Are you sure you'll be able to handle the damage?" Kirishima asked Midoriya.
"Oh, don't worry about me. I'll be fine" Midoriya replied to Kirishima.
The next day...
It was the weekend and the students were given the opportunity to go home, Midoriya decided to stay for the weekend thought about ultimate moves.
Midoriya wrote down the different tactics that the group of students could make use of individually in executing a move that will be effective no matter who thee opponent is or what the situation may be.
He was lost in thought until he heard a familiar voice.
"Hi Izuku" Yaoyorozu said as she made her way to Midoriya sitting on the sofa in the dorm's living room. "Whatcha doin?".
"I've never heard you talk like that before..." Midoriya said as Yaoyorozu sat next to him.
"I don't know, I've been looking into American vocabulary these days and it's getting to my head" Yaoyorozu said awkwardly.
"It's alright" Midoriya replied with a warm smile.
"Anyway, the usual group is just about ready to finalize their ultimate moves, I believe that..." Midoriya goes into his usual state of mumbling his thoughts out loud.
Yaoyorozu just stares happily at Midoriya deep in thought.
Midoriya stopped his mumbling when Yaoyorozu kissed him on the cheek and laid her head on his left shoulder.
"Why did you stop?" Yaoyorozu said with a yawn.
"Uh..." Midoriya paused for a second and just played along.
A few hours went by and Midoriya and Yaoyorozu were fast asleep, cuddling in the same position the whole time.
Yaoyorozu was the first to wake up and saw Midoriya still asleep with his dark, artificial eyes without the usual green irises.
"You two didn't have a good sleep or something?" a voice said as they both woke up with a fright.
"Oh, it's Mr. Aizawa" Yaoyorozu said calming herself down.
"Mr. Aizawa. You're still here for the weekend?" Midoriya asked.
"Yeah, got some work to do so I'll be here..." Aizawa replied.
"By the way, I can tell that you two are hiding it. Don't. I already know" Aizawa added as he made his way to the kitchen.
"Know wha...?" Yaoyorozu said awkwardly.
"You two are dating, it's pretty obvious, given how comfortable you guys are like that right now. Not to mention your All Might ring, I only know of Midoriya to be the sort of fanboy to have any interest of buying you one Ms. Yaoyorozu" Aizawa explained with a wide grin.
"So you know too, guess the walls have ears" Midoriya said calmly.
"Y-You're not going to tell anyone, right Mr. Aizawa?" Yaoyorozu asked, hoping that he will keep the secret.
"Sure" Aizawa said as he left the room.
Midoriya and Yaoyorozu both sighed in relief.
"It's really not a good idea for us to get comfortable here" Yaoyorozu said.
"I agree. Next time, we'll have to be in a more private setting" Midoriya replied.
The two of them sat there awkwardly until Yaoyorozu grabbed Midoriya by his left hand and led him to her dorm room.
Later that night...
Midoriya woke up to a dark room, somehow he felt out of breath.
He looked around and saw Yaoyorozu still asleep and still resting her head on his left shoulder.
Midoriya put his head back down and he was calm for a brief moment until he realized that he's not wearing any clothes.
He pulled the blanket up to see if he really is naked in the bed with Yaoyorozu, it turns out, both Midoriya and Yaoyorozu were naked in the bed.
"What the hell happened?" Midoriya thought to himself while internally screaming.
He looked around the room again and spotted a small packaging ripped open in a small trash can. He noticed it was a condom packaging and looked for the condom itself.
He found it laying on the right of him and it looked fairly used. Midoriya let out a sigh of relief knowing that they practiced proper protection.
Midoriya was about to leave Yaoyorozu's room, but Yaoyorozu pulled on Midoriya's shoulder, pinning him back down onto the bed.
She whispered for him to stay. Midoriya didn't retaliate and just fell back to sleep next to Yaoyorozu.
"Why not. Tomorrow's Sunday anyway" Midoriya thought to himself.
