He received the new invitation this morning with less information than the previous. This invitation had specific directions to call this number when you are ready to leave.

Izuku quadruple checked himself in the mirror. He looked mighty fine in his tuxedo and mask and if he could, he'd flirt with himself. Laughing at the thought, he touched the fabric of his mask, still in awe. His good friend Fumikage was an incredibly detailed leather worker. On Monday he submitted a last minute request and thankfully it was accepted. He commissioned an Venetian rabbit mask in oxblood red leather. He allowed the artist to design it as he pleased, so long as it was as described. It was adorned with gold filigree splayed across the nose and up cheeks and into the ears. Deep emerald and ruby swarovski crystals littered the cheeks brows eyes and scattered off at the ears accenting the detailed filigree. It was perfect, it was so incredibly perfect and he was sure no one else would come close to the beauty he was wearing. His mask was not only beautiful, but it was alluring, sexy and honestly looked a little kink, not that he minded. He was very open indeed.

Izuku looked at his eyes in the reflection. They were rimmed, lower lashes only in black eyeliner, smudged and blended nicely for an air of darkness. It created an sense of eroticism paired with the mask and his hair. It was gelled and slicked back, his deep green locks curled strategically in place around the sides, neck and back. If this was going to be anonymous, he would go all out. But also, who would be the other guests? And why were they invited to this party? Would people actually accept? Hell, he did and it obviously didn't bother him too much, he was very curious. All that he cared about was enjoying his 25th birthday. But there was something that drew him in about the entire exchange which is why he accepted with little thought.

Dialing the mysterious number, a man with a baritone voice confirmed my name and said a driver would be here shortly. He once again double checked to make sure he had everything he needed. Wallet, keys, phone, chapstick. Can never go anywhere without chapstick, ever. He didn't have to wait too long before his phone chimed that a driver was ready. Heading downstairs, he mentally checked the Have Fun box and began his way to the destination.

The drive was tense. He was most definitely not relaxed as the inside of the vehicle was shaded to an extreme. He could barely see where he was being taken and sure that was the entire point. The gnawing need to know and understand what was going on was thrumming in his ears. He had been in this car for at least 20 minutes and now was sure he was in the country, there were no more lights. The nervous ticks kicked in and he couldn't help his incessant squirming. Just then a noise broke him from his anxiety, he jerked his gaze from the window to the front of the vehicle, a window was rolling down exposing the driver.

"Midoriya-san?"

They made eye contact, the driver taking turns looking at the road and then back at him.

"Is this your first invitation?"

He nodded.

"Ah yes," He released a little laugh. "Please be comfortable. There is no need to worry. We will arrive soon." The window began to roll back up before he could ask.

"How...?" He contemplated the window that rolled down. It was only visible one way, from the driver side. "Watching me struggle huh?" He smiled talking to himself. "A warning before would have been nicer." He chuckled a little and did relax against the leather seat just a little. His mask sat next him, hand cradled around it.

They drove for at least another 30 minutes before the car began to slow and lull to a stop. He secured his mask neatly around his face, applied a layer of moisturizer to his lips and he was set right as the door opened.

His driver had his own tux and mask on, his cap shadowing his eyes and cheekbones. He was positioned to a tee professionally, hand across his midriff, awaiting him to step out.

Nervously he removed himself from the seat, hoping he had not sweat enough to wrinkle his perfect suit. He received a nod from the driver and Izuku offered a smile to him.

Three other black vehicles were in front of him releasing other guests. He looked at the path beneath him at the breathtaking view.

In front of him stood a courtyard leading up to a Victorian styled mansion. Maintenanced land was all that he could see surrounding them, and gardens, many flowers and trees, but before him... lining the straight courtyard to the front entrance were perfectly placed, fully blossomed purple wisteria trees. All swaying in the light breeze. Lights illuminating the path, he began forward. The pleasant fragrance wafting his senses, it was romantic and magical and he could envision an extravagant wedding here.

A man welcomed him and greeted him in, his black satin mask veiling his face. Izuku murmured a thanks and walked in. It was lavishly decorated with white and cream clean interior. A large crystal chandelier hung above the entrance in front of a white marble staircase that split off and curved up and around them. There was an entrance to the left and right. He had much exploring to do. He casually walked to the right and realized it was a ballroom of sorts. Many guests were dancing and socializing around tables. Turning around he went to the left and found the assortment of foods, charcuteries, fruits, cheese meats and desserts. He saw several bars and made his way there. He absolutely needed a few drinks. This was so weird and exhilarating! He ordered a strong Manhattan and was more than relieved it came with one large ice ball and not cubes. He thanked the bartender and began to grab for his wallet when the bartender shook her head no. A smile gracing her lips to silently thank him anyways. He nodded at her in thanks, noticing the staff wore the same satin masks to distinguish them separately.

A drink finally in his grasp, he sipped it lightly, pooling the liquid around his tongue and and letting it slowly run down his throat, he savored the heat that spread through his belly. Mixed with the lightly zested orange slice, it was absolute.

He had time to study the crowd now. Men and women seemed to know each other, even though they were veiled. This was not the first event and after knowing someone, you could tell who they were unless completely disguised. The different masks people wore were honestly the funnest thing so far. People really dressed the nine and went high with their mask selections. Plague masks, Columbina, Volto and full face Bauta masks and one of his personal favorites, the Scaramuccia style. He hadn't seen anyone with his Rabbit styled mask yet either and that made him smirk.

"What is that? It looks delicious."

A gruff voice sounded from next to him belonging to a man with spiky red hair. To match, his full faced mask was littered with polished metal spikes.

"A Manhattan."

"Ah," He turned to the bartender and asked her for a copy. Upon receiving it and sipping it, he made a face at its sweet burn. "Wow, that is some strong shit. That'll grow the hair on your nuts."

Izuku laughed, needing it to lighten up quicker than what the drink was providing. He was still unsure why he was here.

"Looks like it's your first time." He suggested with a fun and casual tone.

Izuku looked at the man with red hair. "It's that noticeable?"

"All the newbies go to the bar first."

"What exactly did I arrive to?"

He received a grin, the bright eyes gleaming behind his mask. "Think of this as networking. Inner elitist networking. Your on someones radar. Must be doing right. Name's Kirishima." He stretched his hand out and Izuku took it, shaking it. That sounded very familiar.

"Kirishima? As in mining?" That had his attention, he read about it in a business article a few years back. A man's quirk that was stronger than any material known to man with the ability to create virtually no vibration. He created safe and efficient mining for many of the worlds countries and whenever he was needed he was hired as a contractor for the companies should they experience issues.

"In the flesh. And you?"

"Midoriya, it's very nice to meet you Kirishima-san."

"Nah, just call me Kirishima, that's fine. Sorry Midoriya, I'm not yet familiar."

"It's fine. New here remember?" He joked. "You said elitist... Is everyone here," he paused. "Special?"

"Yeah pretty much but they're all great people."

Very interesting.

"Since you know so much about me, how about you dude? What's your quirk?"

Izuku blushed, not that Kirishima could see anyways. It always seemed embarrassing to say in front of someone who had a great quirk that could help people in better ways.

"Well. I uh..."

"Aaaaw man don't be shy!" He could tell the spiky haired man was grinning behind his mask.

"If I touch you, I can see who you're destined to be with. Your soulmate. "The one" he quoted it with his fingers with a sly smile. " I... draw it out for them. And they have the image of the person who will make them happiest." He said it quietly, for some reason as much as he loved his quirk, talking about it always made him shy.

"Holy fucking shit! Are you serious? That's like, really fuckin cool man!" His grin died down and he asked a question next.

"Like real true love? Have you ever seen any of them like, break up?"

"Yes, real true love. And the people I've helped come together, yes they are all still very, very happy. The one of the first people I helped was a young woman. I was like 6. I'm 25 now." Izuku smiled reminiscing.

Kirishima stared at him a few moments silently.

"That honestly sounds like a really incredible quirk! I bet you get asked a lot don't you? I kind of want to ask you." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, combing through his hair. "Maybe sometime. Alright man, I'm gonna head that way," he pointed to the ballroom. "Thanks for the chat, make sure to hang out, don't be shy. Nice to meet you you Midoriya." After shaking each other's hands, the redhead walked away, disappearing into the crowd.

If these were all people who had quirks then there was someone he did know and he knew him well, he'd be able to identify him, even with his disguise. There was no way he couldn't identify his friend's radiance. Mirio had eyes unlike anyone else, as they were positively wide and very blue! Drink in hand, a few sips heating his belly and relaxing his mind, he began to move back to the ballroom to, as Kirishima so nicely put it, "socialize."

He was a little more on the reserved side. Giving people their ultimate happiness in a partner without having his own personal joy did take a toll on him. He was filled with the love and happiness of everyone he helped, but after a long day of giving, he always came home to his wine and enjoyed the quiet, to give back to himself. He had his friends from his business schooling and that was just about it; and his mother of course, his closest and best friend of all.

Sipping on his drink, he surveyed the newly entered ballroom and everything going on around him.

What did he do? Just start eavesdropping on conversations and include himself in one he found desirable? That seemed a little awkward.

His eyes landed on the back of someones head and he gripped the glass of his drink tighter, like it would slip between the white fingers. Feeling slightly lightheaded he walked to the closest table, thankfully empty, and leaned against the chair, eyes not removing from the back of the head. A sudden wave of discomfort washed over him as the image of the unknown man flashed in his mind again. He'd drawn the same spiky blond hair over and over in so many different forms. He dreamt of running his hands through it. It plagued him, it plagued his subconscious. It couldn't actually be the same person right?

Before he realize it, his feet were moving on their own towards the person with his back to Izuku.

It was like tunnel vision, everything else melted away except the end goal. All he had to do was look into the eyes and he would know for sure. Someone stepped back to exaggerate their words in a conversation right as Izuku was walking past him, knocking the drink out of Izuku's hand. It shattered with a loud crash that seemed to echo the entire room.

Izuku immediately wanted to melt, or crawl into a hole, or possibly even die as it seemed the entire party in the ballroom stopped to stare at him and the man who turned around with the biggest O face and loudly pronounced how apologetic he was. The guests looked away and resumed just as fast as they'd looked. The tall man had his full attention on Izuku now.

"I'M SO SORRY!" His voice boomed

"Really it's okay! It looks like you were having a great conversation! Sorry to interrupt" Izuku just wanted the attention away from himself.

"I, INASA YAORASHI DEMAND TO REPLENISH YOUR BEVERAGE!"

Okay this guy was funny. Hands up, Izuku laughed at his tenacity. "Fine fine, if you must!"

"Thank you!" Inasa turned to the guests he was speaking with before and excused himself. Two waiters appeared from thin air and were already almost done cleaning the accident. Izuku smiled at them and thanked them with an apologetic look. He snuck a glance in the direction of his desired focus only to be let down as the stranger was no longer there.

"There is a smaller bar hiding in the corner here, allow me, please." Inasa motioned for Izuku to follow him a short distance away from the accident. Inasa was a rather big man compared to his 5'8 frame. The guy was easily 6'2. And built. The shoulders on this guy were half as wide as his height. Okay he was exagerrating a little bit but not off by much.

They arrived and a lovely female was serving drinks, Her long raven hair was straight and she had the same satin mask as the others.

She smiled her plump lips towards Inasa and giving him a smirk.

"What can I get you?"

Inasa looked at Izuku, waiting for his drink.

"A very good wine if you have one." He could tell she winked at him before raising her finger up, saying 'give me a minute.' She disappeared behind the bar and moments later came back with a dark looking bottle. He was unfamiliar with the label, trying to glimpse at it while she generously over poured his glass. Handing it to him, she gave him a grin.

"It's from a personal stash. Enjoy." She winked at Inasa and he was pretty sure he grinned and winked back.

"Thank you!" Izuku said to both the server and Inasa

"I appreciate it, you didn't have to leave your conversation."

Inasa voice tone leveled out. "Oh yes I did. It would have been insanely rude to not at least replace it. Your headdress is really something else. Is that leather?"

"Oh, haha. Yes it is! Thank you! I was worried it might be too much but looking at all of the other masks, I'm kinda glad. I'm Midoriya, pleasure to meet you." He held out his hand and Inasa shook it furiously.

"I am Inasa Yaorashi!"

"Hello Inasa it's nice to meet you. This is my first time."

Inasa whistled and beamed at him, also wagging his brows. " Welcome to 15 family. Wonder what took them so long."

"Oh. How many of these have there been?"

"This is the 15th annual celebration. That's why its so fancy. It's literally just to keep the 15 connected and well established within, well, you get it. Keep the circle small. We get together and have fun and expand our businesses."

"Wow. That's a long time. I guess I like to stay lowkey. I'm more in with the people... regular people." Izuku didn't want to go into detail his quirk again.

"Explaining what you do to everyone you meet is grating isn't it? Next time make cards! It helps! I'll have to ask another time. I do hope you enjoy your wine and again, sorry!" Inasa bowed to the waist traditionally and said his goodbyes.

Everyone seemed friendly so far. Take that Kirishima! He was properly socializing!

Finally getting a chance to taste the personal stash, he brought the glass to his nose and swirled it around. The blackish red liquid spiraled sending delicious wafts of the wines depth to his awaiting senses. He dipped his head back lightly and tipped the glass to meet his lips letting the liquid to travel down his tongue. He savored it. It was a magnificent and dense. A fully concentrated flavor, rich with earthy black fruits; black berries, black cherries... was that red currant? Vanilla and possibly cinnamon?

Good god this was amazing. Possibly one of the best red wines he'd ever been given. He had to know what it was. He took another sip, this one larger and let it splash around his tongue. Wow.

He hadn't walked too far from the bar. Taking his third sip, he turned to go back to ask her what this godly wine was when his view was blocked by a perfectly tailored back suit. Looking back at him was a red rams skull with black curled horns. Adornments hunt from thin leather strips, designed with black and red feathers and bead work. It was dark, broody, slightly satanic but very attractive. Piercing ruby eyes glared at him from the beneath the mask and spiky blond hair spewed around the sides of his face.

Holy fucking shit I think I'm going to pass out. It's him, It's him. WhatdoIdowhatdoIdo?

Trying not to hyperventilate over the face he's obsessed over for 2 years was not easy. His body flushed and once again, he gripped his glass, knuckles white.

"How do you like my fuckin wine?"

Izuku blanched not knowing how to respond.

"Y-your wine?" 'It's from a personal stash, enjoy!'

"Yah, my wine Nerd."

Izuku held the glass out to him out of reflex. Oh great, like hes going to drink the wine you've already drank from. He pulled his hand back quickly trying not to slosh the wine. HOW EMBARRASSING!

"No I don't want your fucking glass." The blond said with no ill intent and scrunched his nose. "I made the damn thing. Do you like it or what?" He asked gruffly. "I asked that sneaky little shit to not give it to anyone. But she said you were "just soooo cute." " His imitation of her feminine voice was too funny and Izuku laughed out.

Why in the span of two seconds was he immediately comfortable again?

"I was just heading to ask her what it was? I actually kind of love it. Do you sell it yet? It's probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. The flavor is so rich and delicious and I'm trying not to slurp it down but wow!" Izuku licked his lips. "I'm rambling it's so good." He sheepishly laughed, his free hand brushing the back of his gelled curls. He was blushing and he knew it. Those red eyes staring so intently at him. He'd only seen them in flashes but he'd drawn them so... many... times.

"Tuscany Nera Esplosione."

A powerful name. "You'll have to let me have the inside scoop here on Esplosione. I may or may not be a wine junkie." He said with a big smile.

Those eyes just stared at him. They were endless and smoldering. Or was he smoldering Izuku? Wait is he really looking at me like that or is that my imagination?

"Give me your phone."

"Eeh-erm.. Okay." Trying not to blush he slid his hand into his pocket he handed his phone over and "eeped" when the man snatched it aggressively out of his hand.

"Seriously nerd? Unlock your shit." He passed it over and Izuku swiped the code in, heart thudding in every possible area of his body.

The blond took a step closer. "We have a lot of shit to discuss." The man said quietly under his breath while he added his number to the cellphone.

Izuku really did almost lose his glass this time. "W-what?" The entire situation was almost too much.

"Izuku Midoriya."

"H-how did you know? I don't know anyone here." Izuku paled.

"How the fuck d'you know me then?"

He has a point. But how did he know that he knew?

"Oh for fucks sake. I'll see you tomorrow. Happy fucking birthday." he grumbled walking off.

His mind was racing, thoughts flying by a mile a minute. The person was real. He was real. And he was real attractive, even with the mask on. And he had a quirk, if he was here at this 15 party, he definitely had a quirk.

How did he know it was his birthday? The blush never left his body, it ran down his neck making him uncomfortably warm. He looked at the contact reading the name a thousand times over.
