When Izumi finally woke up from her sleep, she realised she is lying on a mat with a bunch of other children. And judging by their outfits, Izumi knows that she is in some orphanage. So, which cliché character was in orphanage of the novel? Oh right, the stupid and weak villainess and the prophet in training.

The villainess was originally quite strong, but the author chose to debuff the villainess by not letting her exercise and making her snobbish. In the end, the villainess died since she cannot run fast enough. Quite a lot of people complained about that part since they loved the villainess's unique approach but the author wouldn't exploit this opportunity. Overall, the story is a flop. -100000/10, that is what people rated the story.

Izumi turned her head and her future killer, the prophet in training is lying down. Or to be more exact, the second male lead. He is there not as another orphan, but as a cat with a red hemming plush. A persian cat, if you wanna be more specific. Which means, her task is to find the magic item to turn the cat back to a human. She cannot leave this cat unless she wants the two faced lotus to take advantage of this guy. As for where is the magic item... Izumi have 0 idea since she only read major spoilers and no one mentioned anything about the magical item.

Izumi put her hands into the pocket and found a notebook stating all the possible locations of the magical item. So far, there is only DukeLaurent's Mansion and Trinity, The School of Mages, Swordmanship and Crusine where all the nobles went to study. The school only allow nobles to study in there so Izumi can't since she is a commoner. But according to the spoilers, Duke and Duchess Laurent will be coming into the orphanage to adopt a child. The child have to be quite active since the Laurents are famous for swordsmen and women.

Oh well, Izumi is quite active so she have some confidence that she can get adopted. She doesn't really know about how the villainess became a noble since once again, no one give spoilers about it so she can only rely on her no good luck. "WAKE UP!!!!" shouted a woman in her 50s. The woman is the director of the orphanage, her mind? (Is it hers or the original villainess's?) helpfully supplied. Izumi jumped up and followed the rest to do their usual routine. When Izumi is finally allowed to eat a spoonful of porridge, she nearly cried in tears of relief. But, when she eat the first spoonful, she nearly spit it out.

It taste horrible. Well, not as horrible as Izumi's cooking, but horrible enough mentally scar a people. Izumi doesn't know how the rest managed to eat this damn fast but seeing the woman is looking at her judgementally, Izumi eating speed turned up to match the rest. (Of course, she did give the cat a some food from her bowl to eat. She is not practising animal abuse and help her to lighten the amount of disgusting food) After eating, Izumi felt like she is going to vomit but she managed to keep it down since she doesn't want to get punished.

And finally, the Laurents arrived. They looked like the escape route from this awful orphanage. The orphanage director welcomed them happily and shouted for all the orphans to line up. Then, the Laurents want all the orphans to try to past by an obstacle course they setup. The obstacle course looks a lot like the one Izumi started learning so, with the grace of a stallion, Izumi passed all of it no problem. The Laurents seemed to be very impressed with her.

And that is how Izumi got adopted by the Laurents. She finally can go to find the magical item with her 'cat' and red herring plush. At least, she hoped.
