Prologue

At U.A, one cozy winter evening Izuku had just finished up his workout routine, his homework, and filled his last hero notebook, and he was dead tired.

"Damn I need to rest for a bit." Izuku thought as he took a seat in the common room.

" I Gotta get new notebooks, pencils and-" Izuku started rambling to himself about all the things he needed.

Meanwhile, Mina had been skipping over to the common area to relax and make herself something to eat. Hearing Izuku's rambling through the wall however, gave her an idea.

"Heya Midoriya!" called a certain pink bubbly girl.

"H-Hey Ashido!" Izuku yelled back a little too loudly.

"Midoriya, you really missed me that much? It's only been a couple hours since practice ended." Mina began with a devilish glint in her eyes and a wide smile.

Izuku could feel the burning sensation creep onto his face, which was starting to turn red. "W-W-W-Wait tha-that's not what I-". Izuku managed to stammer out.

"I know Midoriya, you're just so easy to fluster and it's funny seeing you turn into a tomato".

At this, Izuku felt a slight twinge of annoyance. Feeling the need to get her back he, as calm as ever said," Well t-that only happens with the pretty girls Ashido."

At this Mina, who had been preparing to cook a pack of ramen noodles, stopped dead in her tracks, spilling some of the hot water onto her legs and feet.

"FU-!" she yelled, and in the time it had taken her to move her feet away from the hot water on the floor, Izuku had used OFA to rush over to her and give her a handful of ice.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry Ashido!" Izuku began. "I didn't mean for this to happen!"

Mina looked up at him, confused as to why he apologized for her reaction. "Chill out dude it's fine, you didn't do anything."

"B-But I caused you to get distracted!" Izuku nearly yelled.

"Midoriya." Mina said with a relaxed look,"You are fine, it was my fault."

Before Izuku could respond however, Mina (not missing a beat) said," I was just flattered that YOU of all people found me pretty."

At this, Izuku thought back to what he had said, and realized the weight of his words. His face turned so red that it could've been a ripe strawberry and began.

"W-w-w-wait I-I," Izuku began mumbling and at this sight Mina held in a laugh. "I totally broke him now didn't I." Mina thought.

"Oh well time to try and fix this." she began to get up but accidently stepped back into the puddle and slipped. Time moved slowly as Mina fell backwards, but she saw Izuku use his quirk just in time to catch her.

He held her in his arms for a second, staring into her eyes. "Wow, they are so beautiful," Izuku thought.

"Uh, Midoriya?" Ashido asked. "I'm okay now, could you please let me up?" she asked. "O-oh yeah sorry about that."

Izuku sheepishly pulled her up. Mina got up and had to take a second to breathe. "Why was I caught in his stare?" she asked herself. However, she thought back to when she was staring into the gentle green eyes of the boy who had helped her.

"He's such a great guy, but I never talked with him much." As Mina thought about this, Izuku had been trying to say sorry for staring (once again). As Mina's head cleared and her heartbeat returned to normal she finally heard her classmate's excessive apologies.

"I-I swear it won't happen again Mina, please forgive me." Izuku said with his head hung low.

Mina sighed,"Dude it's fine besides-" quietly adding,"I was staring into your eyes too."
