Although Izuku had been in his bed with the lights off, he could not sleep.
He couldn't get Mina out of his head.
In one day, the pink alien and the mint green hero had gone from good classmates to great friends.
While he was always grateful to have more friends, he knew he cared deeply about her, and once again felt a bit of that strange warm feeling to fill his chest again.
It always happened when he thought of Mina, and he loved the feeling. However, he was scared of what could happen if she didn't share the same feelings as him.
While they had always been amicable with each other, they just always seemed busy within their own friend groups to notice each other. Now, they had clicked for the very first time, and he, at least, was longing to meet up with her again.
Are all crushes like this? Or have I just recognized my true feelings for her? Izuku thought.
While Izuku may have originally felt attracted to Ochako, he recognized it was only because it was the first time he had a girl's attention in years.
This, on the other hand, felt natural, like it had been with him for a while.
He had always found his classmates rather adorable and beautiful in their own ways, but Mina was something different.
He knew that she was one of a kind, not just in looks but in her personality.
After all, there is only one Alien Queen.
