Dragon Ball Super x Dragon Ball GT Challenge: Goku GT died when he used the universal spirit bomb on Omega and went into the void. Because of this he was not allowed to stay in his world as he was now a warrior of the void a.k.a. a chosen one of Zalama -Shenron's father- and he had a destiny to fulfill. So, Shenron takes him to the dragon realm to train for five years, before taking him to the super timeline a week before Beerus wakes up. GT is initially stronger than everyone there until after the Super Saiyan God ritual. Then, he's the second strongest. Now, he trains to grow stronger deciding against using SSG and instead mastering/improving his techniques and transformations.

Keep trunks hair blue, but make Bulma's back to lime green or whatever color is originally was for past Bulma. Future Bulma hair can still be blue. Also remember, Base GT Goku was said to be stronger than super saiyan three when he fought General Rilldo - who was said to be stronger than Majin Buu, plus they trained a lot and fought more enemies, so take that into account. And look up change for dragon ball z or Gt - it's a non confirmed form, but hinted at form for Goku in GT at the end. That'll be his 'Ultra Instinct'.
