Hello and welcome to my new story that I would love to see how it is in the near future. This is my AU version of both Kingdom Hearts and My Hero Academia. Not much but I want to make it the best one yet since I've got this on my mind recently. This is the second year and I'm not trying to make it like the manga because DAMN! It was just too much of a rollercoaster of excitement and everything! This is basically a story of how Kairi is becoming a true Pro Hero with the assistance of Izuku and the others. I'm including a few KH characters and certain flashbacks of Kairi's past. Anyway, let's begin and this might be short for the first chapter, but I'll be writing more and making longer chapters as it develops. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Meet Kairi

It was just another rainy day in Japan as things were semi-normal to everyone. It was close to a year since the capture of All For One and most of the League Of Villains were in hiding. However, All Might's retirement nearly had crime rates go up a little bit. But the new Number One hero Endeavor made an example of following his own path of redemption and honoring All Might to become a Symbol of Peace.

Right now, a local student was given a ride to UA after staying over with his mother for dinner and helping her out a bit. The student was Izuku Midoriya: Second Year and future Pro-Hero. Once a quirkless nobody, he was given an all-powerful quirk to become someone greater and prove to the world that anyone can be a true hero while he risks his life to save others. Even though he's reckless, Izuku manages to get back up and train harder to protect the ones he cares about.

His mother, Inko Midoriya, offered to drive him to school since it was pouring down hard. She was getting confident within herself and watching her health more. After years of stress and guilt from raising her son alone to never believing in his dream, Inko changed all that and supported him through every decision he made. She even went to a fitness center to shed a few pounds with the help of her best friend Mitsuki Bakugou.

"Thanks again for taking me to school, Mom. You didn't have to do that." Izuku said.

"It's fine, Izuku. I don't want you out here getting sick. The weather here is pretty crazy as of late." Inko stated with concern. "I'm just hoping it would at least get a bit of sunlight."

"I know. But I know we won't be doing much for the outside part of hero work."

"Speaking of which: How's school going?" Inko asked.

Izuku smiled and replied, "It's doing good. I was able to control my quirk without breaking any part of my bones recently. Aizawa-sensei was pushing us to the limit with quirk training and making sure we stay ahead of our studies."

Inko sighed. "I hope he's not doing too much work for you all. I've already heard enough from the Principal about you injuring yourself. But not knowing the concept of your quirk and training it better is something else."

The green-haired teen just chuckled nervously. "Yeah, well...he's just giving us the extra mile to do our best."

"By threatening to expel you and everyone if you don't learn your quirk properly?" Inko deadpanned while focusing on the road. "I may not know much about your teacher, but I'm still shocked about his record of expelling an entire class for unfit potential. I swear he needs to check his own attitude before it get shoved straight up his-"

"MOM!" Izuku shouted in disbelief, causing Inko to snap out of her Angry Mom mode. Ever since she was feeling confident about her son, Inko tends to make sure Izuku is doing well with everything and NOT hear anything worse about it. A few months back, Inko was a little mad to hear about how Izuku was put in a dangerous situation with Class 1-B students and nearly broke his arms in self-defense. Knowing that Aizawa wanted Izuku to not hold back and fail him, Inko went up to give him a verbal warning...and a demonstration of her quirk training of her own which involved an exploding stress ball!

"Oops! My bad, son!" Inko blushed in embarrassment. "Guess I've been getting more bold lately since training with Mitsuki. At the time being, I was close to becoming like her."

"But I know you're not trying to, Mom, and I know you want me to get the education and hero work done so I can help people. Sure Aizawa-sensei is strict, but he means well. Give him a chance." Izuku reassured her with a smile.

Inko sighed and knew he had a point. But given the fact that the teacher was doing so much and barely noticing true potential in all the children, Inko let it slide and gave the Underground Hero a chance. "Okay, honey. I'll try. I swear, what did I do to deserve such a kind boy like you?"

Izuku chuckled. "By having a cool mom to be raised by."

"Oh, sweetie, you are such an angel!" His mother said while pinching his cheeks, causing him to groan in embarrassment.

While driving, the Midoriyas heard more rain coming down, but the car didn't get hit with raindrops. This confused them as Inko looked up and still saw dark clouds from above. "That's strange." She spotted the streets free from the rain and the other side was still pouring. "I wonder what's causing this."

Izuku was curious about this as well and was about to answer his mother but stopped to see someone inside a bus shelter. He looked a little closer and saw it was a girl. It was a breathtaking sight as she was about his age and height while having long hair that was apple red. Her eyes were crystal blue and she was smiling peacefully while writing down something in her notebook. Judging by her attire, she must be a student at UA! He was thinking she might be in General Studies like Hitoshi. So in his mind, it couldn't hurt to ask what was going on.

"Um, excuse me?" Izuku shouted. This caused the girl to look up and see him with a curious expression. "Yeah, could you tell us what's going on around here? This area is dry but it's raining from some parts around us."

The girl was confused, but got what he was catching on to. "OH! This was me right here!" She giggled softly. "I made a barrier around me so the rain won't hit my notebook. The roof was leaking here so I...you know."

"This was your work?! Amazing!" Izuku exclaimed. "Are you on your way to UA Academy?"

The girl nodded. "Yep! I'm starting my first day today and thought I might try to get there a little early. The bus was supposed to show up at this time."

Inko soon joined inon the conversation and said, "I think the buses won't be running much due to the weather. There won't be one until another hour."

"Oh," pouted the girl as she sighed a bit. "So much for arriving at school on time."

Izuku felt bad for her, but soon had an idea. "Say, do you need a ride?"

"Hmm?" The redhead looked with confusion.

"I'm running a little late as well and my mom is dropping me off right now. Maybe we can give you a lift? If that's okay with you, Mom." Izuku asked.

Inko couldn't help but be proud of how her son is helping out people no matter where he goes. It shows how much heart Izuku has to be the next hero.

"I don't mind at all!" She looked at the girl and continued. "Come on in! We have some room for you!"

The redhead smiled and put her notebook away inside her backpack. She also grabbed a black case and ran towards the car. Once she was inside, the three were on their way.

"Thanks for the ride. It's unusual to find nice people around here." The girl stated.

"You're new around here?" Izuku asked.

"Yep! Just arrived here last night on my trip from home. I was offered something in the mail after hearing about what I can do with my quirk and control it better. By the way, my name is Kairi Hamasaki. Just call me Kairi or Kai-chan." The redhead, now Kairi, said.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya," he replied with a smile, "and this is my mother Inko."

"Your mother? I really thought that she was your older sister. She's way too young to be a mother." Kairi retorted.

Inko giggled softly with a small blush. "Why, thank you! That's the first time someone said that to me."

Kairi smiled. "It's true, though."

"So, Kairi. What were you doing before we spotted you? And what was your quirk you've metioned?" Izuku asked kindly.

"Well, I was working on my quirk knowledge to study another person's quirk and see how they work." She replied.

"Wait! So you analyze quirks, too?" Izuku said in awe. "I do that as well!"

"That's so cool! Studying another's quirk can really be useful when facing enemies. You can do more by knowing their strengths, weaknesses, and-"

"Find out ways to use it as an advantage to take down the bad guys!" Both Izuku and Kairi said at the same time as Kairi gasped.

"Did we become best friends?" She asked.

Izuku blushed red and looked in another direction. "Um...y-yeah. I-I guess we are?"

"Oh wow! First day and I've already made a friend! How cool is that?" Kairi said with a happy tone. "Do you have any other friends before me?"

Izuku nodded and replied, "Sure!"

While Izuku and Kairi were talking, Inko couldn't help but smile peacefully to see her son making new friends. Back when he was little, no one couldn't even get near him during the time he was quirkless. The only friend he truly had was Katsuki Bakugou, but he cast her son aside after obtaining a quirk of his own. Although the years went by, their friendship was strained and never going to work out because of Bakugou's constant attitude. But now, Izuku has friends during his time at UA and made a new one while they were getting along.

The ride was pleasant and the teens made it to the academy. Izuku got out first and opened the door for Kairi as she thanked him for being a gentleman.

"Thanks for the ride, Mom." Izuku said.

"Anytime, sweetie." Inko looked at Kairi and said, "It was nice meeting you. Kairi. Hope we can talk more soon."

"Sure, I don't mind. You just be safe out here." Kairi said with concern.

"I promise I will. Bye, you two!"

"Love you, Mom!/Later, Mrs. Midoriya!" Both teens said as Inko drove off to work.

Kairi looked at the building behind the huge gate and gasped in amazement to believe that she will become a Pro Hero soon inside the prestigious school in Japan! "Whoa!"

"I know, right?" Izuku chuckled at her expression. "Come on! I'll show you to the Principal's office so he can help you out around here. It'll be easy to get lost inside."

"I'll take your word on it." Kairi said as she followed Izuku inside while their surroundings were protected inside a barrier while the rain was going the other way.

Nezu's Office

Nezu was doing nothing but drinking his tea and looking over a few reports on each classroom. He was starting to think over a year that UA had a bit of recent activities involving villains lately and nearly led to chaotic outcomes. But the situation started simmering down as new heroes were transferred to Japan for extra support and investigating recruitments to the League Of Villains. It was also the moment that a few teens, who were either quirkless or expelled students, were gaining powers and more. Nezu hoped to have a new age of Pro Heroes without worrying about the consequences that might lead back to UA.

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Oh! Come in.

Coming inside were Izuku and Kairi as the green-haired teen greeted Nezu. "Hello, sir."

"Izuku! Nice of you to see me." Nezu then looked at the redhead teen beside him. "Hmm. I haven't seen you here before. Are you new?"

"Yes, sir." Kairi nodded. "I was transferred here overseas and showed up last night. My name is Kairi Hamasaki."

"Oh, yes! I've heard about you, my dear. You're from Destiny Islands, correct?" Nezu asked as she confirmed with a nod. "Excellent! UA is thrilled to have new students coming all over the world to know much about Japan and learning to show the world how heroes are made. Your brother told me about your records and showed that you've been very helpful around your hometown."

"Nothing like stopping a few villains and saving my home from natural disasters are the perks of helping those in need. Exhausting, I know, but it's worth it. And I thought I might assist Axel with some things since he'd be doing so much for everyone." Kairi explained.

Nezu understood and said, "Very impressive, Hamasaki. Although, I'm surprised that you haven't got drenched from outside. It's pouring down like crazy out there."

"You should thank Midoriya for that." Kairi pointed at her friend. "I was waiting for the bus to come until he and his mom offered me a ride here."

Nezu smiled and looked at Izuku to say, "My my! It seems that you are heroic no matter where you go. Thank you, Midoriya, for bringing her here safely."

Izuku blushed red and stammered, "I-It's no b-big d-deal. Just...wanted to help o-out."

Kairi giggled. 'Cute!'

"Quite." Nezu then got serious while looking at Kairi. "Okay, Hamasaki, this is UA Academy: The school where young minds will be put to the test to learn and adapt into becoming Pro Heros out in the real world. Some may think that being one is cool, but know the dangers and tribulations it comes with when facing villains, defending the civilians, and earning the respect of the public. It's tough, but I know every student here has the potential to become a true hero at heart. And now, Kairi Hamasaki, must be ready for anything once you graduate here. So my question is this: Are you ready to go beyond and prove to the world that you got this?"

Kairi stood silent for a few seconds while Izuku was worried that she might get nervous if taking responsibilities in saving lives and facing off against dangerous people like the League. Knowing how they are, he hopes that she doesn't have to face them soon. However, Izuku saw her place her fist into her palm and bowed slightly with a determined smile.

"Yes, sir. No matter the obstacles I will face, I will make sure to bring everything I've got to prove to everyone that I can be a hero and inspire more to dream big, quirk or no quirk! You have my word." Kairi stated as Izuku was stunned by her revelation.

Nezu smiled and extended his paw out to shake her hand. "Well then, I welcome you to your Hero Academia."

Kairi shook his paw with a smile and was ready to change the world. "I won't let you down, sir!"

"I believe you," said the principal.

Just then, someone came right through the door and spoke to Nezu in a happy tone. "Hey, Nezu! Do you need some more tea? I'm going out to get more."

"In a moment, Nemuri. I'm right now helping a student getting settled in." Nezu pointed out to see Izuku and Kairi, who was gasping in shock.

"Oh, hello, Midoriya! I'm surprised you're here! I thought you would've been in Aizawa's classroom right now." Midnight stated.

"S-S-Sorry, Midnight-sensei! I was just-"

"NO WAY!" Izuku paused as he and the adults looked to see Kairi facing Midnight with a huge smile on her face. "You're the R-Rated Hero: Midnight! I can't believe I'm seeing you right here!"

Although surprised about the redhead, Nemuri couldn't help but giggle. "Why, yes I am! I'm thinking you're a big fan?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Kairi stated. "You're a cool Pro-Hero to take out 75 bad guys and thugs without breaking a sweat and save a few civilians from a robbery! Me and my sisters are a huge fan and thought of you as one of the female heroines to represent!"

Nemuri smiled and looked at Nezu. "I like this one! What's her name?"

Kairi answered that for him. "Kairi Hamasaki."

The R-Rated Heroine shook the redhead's hand and said, "Nice to meet you."

"Well then, I'll get started on the paperwork to put you in the system. Before that, let me show you to your classroom. Mr. Midoriya is there and I think he'll show you around to make sure you are completely welcome here. Is that okay with you, Midoriya?" Nezu asked with a kind tone.

Izuku nodded his head and replied, "Yes, sir." He turned to Kairi. "You're going to love Class 1-A. You'll fit right in!"

"I hope so," giggled Kairi. "Mind telling me who they might be before I meet?"

"Of course!" Izuku said while explaining to her his friends and their quirks.

Nezu and Nemuri were smiling at them getting along just well and wondered how the new student would progress during her time in UA? Only time will tell as they lead them to Kairi's homeroom Class 1-A.

To Be Continued

Took me a while, but the first chapter is done! How will Class 1-A react to Kairi's appearance? Find out soon in the next chapter!
