Hi, there. I’m QueenAlicorn. It’s been a long time since I updated my profile, and as the days get closer and closer to the end of the year, I find myself reminiscing. I know many of you simply read my stories, and I accept that. But for the 20 of you who even visit my profile page, let me try and provide some entertaining information about myself.

There are some things about myself that tend to make their way into my stories. For example, I am a Christian. I believe that God loves all of his children, even if they turn their backs on him.

In a similar token, I also believe that ‘truth is universal’. There are many lessons in this world, and sometimes we overlook them because we aren’t ready for the weight of those words. So for those of you who have read more then one story by me, you may notice similarities; such as similar likes, dislikes, but similar messages as well. I know that might seem a tad repetitive, but you never know how you’ll effect someone.

If it matters to anyone, I am actually in my 20’s, but I rarely feel that young. I have such an old-fashioned soul, and people keep telling me that I am wise beyond my years. I don’t know if I necessarily agree with that statement, since I have also been told that (because of my age) I don’t really know what I am talking about. Heh, I suppose in a way, both are true.

I grew up an Air Force brat, though my father is retired now. I haven’t been outside of the US, but I have moved around. In that respect, I have met many people in my life. I also know what it is like to be suddenly immersed into a world you know nothing about. It’s like being an outsider, being invisible, and being a mysterious beacon to those who do notice you. Often I remained silent until I can figure out, or semi-trust the others around me.

That also tends to make me identify with specific characters in shows or movies, which often effects my OTP’s or ships that I write for.

The pairing that really started it all, was Bbrae (Beast Boy/Raven, for you non-Teen Titans fans). It’s funny, I decided to go back and binge Teen Titans, and when I got to the final season, I didn’t want it to end. So I started reading Bbrae fanfics. Eventually I read several stories where I thought I should have ended differently. I thought “I could do better then this”, and I decided to prove it.

Now, that being said, things are a bit different for me right now. I handwrite my stories, and then type them out later to post them online. Of course that also means I have several notebooks for that very purpose. And right now I have 95% of my things in storage.

Why you may ask? Well... I suppose in the strictest of definitions, I don’t have a home right now. My immediate family and I are staying with my grandparents as we look for jobs and homes to live. Being a military friend, er ex-military family, I suppose... we are looking all over the US, so who knows what state we will end up in. Heh, God knows, but he just refuses to tell us, ha...

But, there isn’t much I can do, story-wise. I have over 40 stories, and right now there’s only 10 stories I can really work on... unless I come up with some new tales. Now I do apologize for that, especially if the story you’re reading is locked away where I can’t retrieve it. When I am able, I will get those books back and completed those stories, but until then, those stories are forced to be set aside.

By the way, I don’t know if it's just me, but if you try to send me a Private Message, I probably won’t get it right away. See, I normally work with the app, and for some reason whenever I try to access the inbox, the app says my inbox is empty. Then I go online for some reason and I’ll find messages that are months old. So I highly recommend, if you want to send me a comment or question, then perhaps you should contact me on Tumblr. Don’t worry the name is still QueenAlicorn, I’m kind of a ordinary girl that way, heh.

So... I guess that’s all you need to know about little old me. I’m just a writer hoping to do a little bit of good with her stories. Even if I wish I got a little more traffic, heh. Oh well, I love my stories, and hopefully my readers love them as much as I do.

Oh, one last thing. I am a sucker for happy or hopeful endings. Therefore, I should state that no matter how bad or dark some of my stories can get, if you’re willing to stick with me, I’ll lead you on a grand journey to a fulfilling end. After all, “this too shall pass”...

Everything will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright, then it is not the end.
