"One day you're going to have to stop pretending everything's okay"
Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries
QUARANTA
Jacqueline sat down at the table with her girlfriend. They were still wrapped in the 'honeymoon stage' apparently but Jacqueline didn't mind. She didn't really care to notice others when she could be focusing on her BloodBonded.
Rebekah looked up at her in curiosity, "What are you thinking about? I can feel your emotions"
Jacqueline grinned coyly and peered at her girlfriend as she focused on projecting a wave of lust.
Rebekah sucked in a sharp breath.
Jacqueline leaned forward and chuckled as she kissed Rebekah. "Still wanna know?" Jacqueline asked as she wrapped arm around Rebekah's shoulder and held her close.
Rebekah narrowed her eyes and pouted, "That's not fair"
"Life's not fair, babe" Jacqueline retorted with an eye roll.
Rebekah pulled a face at the reply, clearly not liking that answer. Rebekah shook her head, "Stop teasing. We're supposed to be enjoying a nice breakfast"
Jacqueline hummed as she picked up a fork of fruit. She nodded her agreement, "I am enjoying breakfast. Nice food and a nice view. You should know better than to spy on my feelings" she smirked
Rebekah rolled her eyes.
Cause Rebekah did know that already. They'd had to sneak away from family a few times because of it. Hence having been accused of being in the 'honeymoon phase' when really, it was just that they tended to feed off each other's emotions.
It wasn't their fault they got carried away!
Turning her attention to her food, Jacqueline happily ate the fruit salad and waffles they had ordered. Jacqueline's arm sat comfortably over Rebekah's shoulders. Meanwhile one of Rebekah's hands stayed on Jacqueline's thigh. It was obvious to anyone who looked their way that they were dating.
And they got a few unhappy looks from locals because of it.
Though they remained too wrapped up in their own conversation to care. It wasn't like anybody dared do more than cast them odd looks anyway. With the locals knowing Jacqueline and Rebekah's reputations they weren't ballsy enough to say anything about the relationship.
Not to mention it would make them homophobic.
Rebekah sighed and rested her head on Jacqueline's shoulder. "How are you feeling after the dinner?" Rebekah asked as she squeezed Jacqueline's thigh in comfort
Jacqueline rested her chin on Rebekah's head and sighed. "I dunno yet" she admitted as she made a conscious effort to be more 'in touch' with her emotions. "I guess, bittersweet"
Rebekah hummed, "Aren't you glad he remembered? We didn't really talk about it properly"
Jacqueline swallowed as pain tightened her chest. She forced herself not to react and hoped that Rebekah wasn't burdened with the feeling. While Jacqueline was glad to have someone who understood and accepted this situation - it wasn't a pain she wanted Rebekah to know.
Rebekah sat up and turned to face her, a frown of concern of her face. "It hurts" Rebekah whispered as she felt Jacqueline's emotions.
Jacqueline looked away uncomfortably
"Hey?" Rebekah touched cheek to capture her attention. "I'm sorry if I pushed"
Jacqueline shrugged looking to all the world as if she were truly indifferent. However, Rebekah could feel the pulsing pain in her heart. The Bond really did make it so neither could hide anything from the other. Jacqueline sighed, "It's just not the same. I remember the day he first called me Jacqueline..." she trailed off as more pain gripped her
Rebekah sucked in a breath and clutched her hand in support.
Jacqueline looked at Rebekah sadly, "I'm sorry you have to feel it too, Beka."
Rebekah shook her head, "It's okay. Your pain is my pain. I just never realised you felt like this for all those years"
"It's eased a little now that I've actually acknowledged that I feel it" Jacqueline admitted begrudgingly. "I love him. I do, so much. Hearing him say that last night both broke my heart and healed it. It's amazing knowing he sees me as his mother, but it hurts knowing even I can never have that relationship back"
Rebekah sighed and grabbed Jacqueline's hands and she pulled her closer.
Jacqueline went willingly and allowed Rebekah to wrap her arms around her. She sighed and hummed contently as she felt Rebekah send a wave of love and comfort through their bond. She smiled at Rebekah's care and leant forward to kiss her girlfriend.
Rebekah deepened the kiss.
Jacqueline only pulled away when air became a problem and pecked Rebekah on the lips. "Your too good to me" she said knowing it was the truth.
Rebekah grinned bashfully
"I do happen to love you, after all" Rebekah rolled her eyes playfully. "I figure I should look after you sometimes"
Jacqueline snorted.
"Cute" she snarked back with a small grin. Jacqueline was glad for the change of topic though. She always enjoyed their time together and after last night she was in need for a little lightheartedness.
"Eat your breakfast and we can go see your friend" Rebekah said in mock sternness
Jacqueline chuckled happily but complied as she made a show of eating more waffle. Rebekah only laughed and went back to her own food. Jacqueline would have rather skip breakfast with today's plans though.
She was excited.
Rebekah was finally going to get a tattoo and Jacqueline was going to be the one doing the tattoo!
Jacqueline had teleported to New Orleans when she realised with the new healing powers, tattooing becomes a problem. She'd had to fork out a few hundred dollars for special magic infused ink. Ink which happened to be what Vampires used when wanting a tattoo.
That had given her an idea.
It had taken a little while to get Rebekah to agree. Though once Rebekah had seen Jeremy and Tyler's tattoos it had been easier. Jacqueline might be average in creating intricate designs, but she was a great tattoo artist.
Jacqueline couldn't be more excited for a new client!
While Rebekah had gone to do some town event planning with Carol Lockwood, Jacqueline was heading back to the Mikaelson Mansion to grab a few of Rebekah's things. Rebekah was going to spend the afternoon with the Gilberts. Or rather one Gilbert, a Lockwood and a Mancinelli.
Jacqueline snorted at the thought.
She pulled up to the mansion and jumped out of the car, heading inside she reached out with her magic. Jacqueline felt her magic connecting with two specific people and she knew it meant that Kol and Elijah were inside the house. She paid neither any mind as she headed straight for the stairs. Jacqueline went into Rebekah's room and grabbed one of the small duffel bags.
She rolled her eyes at the size of the closet.
It was the same size of her bedroom.
Though Jacqueline did find herself envious as she struggled to fit all her clothing in her own closet. Jacqueline idly packed a few things for Rebekah and folded it into the duffel bag.
Their morning had gone well.
Rebekah had been a little nervous about how a tattoo would look. Though once they worked out a design and placement Rebekah had been excited. Jacqueline always noticed the way Rebekah admired her tattoos. She was happy Rebekah had trusted her enough to allow her to do the tattoo.
Though Raack had offered.
Rebekah had wanted Jacqueline to do it. Jacqueline had ended up designing a few beautiful butterflies. The butterflies were placed descending in size down Rebekah's spine. It was done with the special ink but the colours were a muted pastel shade. Thankfully with this spelled ink designed for vampires, Rebekah would never have to worry about the design fading.
Jacqueline was particularly happy with the knowledge she too wouldn't have to worry.
A perk of their shared abilities!
Grabbing the duffel Jacqueline headed back down the stairs. She paused when she heard some awful music. With a raised brow she stuck her head into the entertainment room.
Kol.
Of course it was Kol playing this shit!
Jacqueline rolled her eyes, "Please don't tell me you like this music?" She drew out in amusement
Kol huffed, "I am trying to find a genre that I like. There just so many now! This is what happens when you get daggered for a few hundred years!" He pouted dramatically
Jacqueline fished her phone from her pocket and plugged it into the speaker.
"This is good music" She stated simply, "And if you dare say otherwise I'll make sure it's all you'll be able to hear for the rest of the week!"
Kol smirked daringly
Jacqueline met his eyes in challenge
"Okay darling" Kol rolled his eyes but didn't take the bate. "Play your music device" he waved a hand at the device expectantly.
Jacqueline rolled her eyes and started up the playlist. She grinned when she saw the songs and turned the volume up loudly. She could just imagine Elijah sighing in his office as he read his book trying to block them out. The thought made her smirk in amusement.
Red Hit Chilli Peppers Suck my kiss began playing.
Jacqueline smirked and moved to pour herself a glass of bourbon Kol was drinking. She enjoyed the way that the loud bass could be felt right in her bones.
Kol looked a intrigued as he listened along.
Guns 'n Roses played next.
Joan Jett.
Nirvana.
The Pretty Reckless.
"Are all these songs about sex?" Kol wondered but looked rather pleased with the lyrics anyway. Considering the last time he was alive was back when only married people had sex, Kol was rather thrilled at the 'daring' and 'scandalous' society.
Jacqueline snorted, "Sex, money, ass, guns..." she trailed off with a shrug
"Particularly vulgar topics" Kol grinned
"This is America baby" Jacqueline snarked as she poured them both another drink. They were well into the bottle of Bourbon. Jacqueline assumed she was probably already over the legal driving limit.
"I do happen to enjoy your music" Kol announced as he downed his drink. "How many songs do you think Elijah will allow us to play before demanding us stop?"
Jacqueline rolled her eyes and looked at the next song. She snorted, "I think those will likely be the last. It does remind me - have you seen American Pie yet?"
Kol frowned, "A pie?"
"A movie" She corrected with a smirk, "It's right up your alley, Kol, you'll love it. Though I don't think Rebekah will allow me to watch it with you"
Kol rose a brow but nodded in agreement. He would be googling the movie now, she was sure of it. Jacqueline occasionally took great amusement in Kol being behind on the times. She only wished she could get Elijah to watch a movie like that...
She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good, makes a grown man cry
Sweet Cherry Pie, yeah
Jacqueline watched Kol grin in amusement as he realised the meaning of the song. She doubted it would take Elijah too long to put a stop to it being blasted throughout the mansion. Elijah wasn't too comfortable with these topics even though he hadn't been daggered as they became normal.
Well, swingin' on the front porch, swingin' on the lawn
Swingin' where we want 'cause there ain't nobody home
Swingin' to the left and swingin' to the right
If I think about baseball, I'll swing all night, yeah, Yeah, yeah
Swingin' in the living room, swingin' in the kitchen
Most folks don't 'cause they're too busy bitchin'
Swingin' in there 'cause she wanted me to feed her
So I mixed up the batter and she licked the beater
I scream, you scream, we all scream for her
Don't even try 'cause you can't ignore her
She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good, make a grown man cry
Sweet cherry pie, oh yeah
Jacqueline laughed when Kol grabbed her hand. She was having a good time just being an idiot with him. Klaus was fun but not nearly lighthearted enough to completely let loose and act the fool.
Kol connected with the party girl in Jacqueline and she didn't mind that. In fact, as Jacqueline danced with Kol she couldn't help but laugh loudly. Jacqueline was glad to be part of the family and as much as Kol gets on her nerves, he was fun.
Swingin' to the drums, swingin' to guitar
Swingin' to the bass in the back of my car
Ain't got money, ain't got no gas
But we'll get where we're goin' if we swing real fast
I scream, you scream, we all scream for her
Don't even try 'cause you can't ignore her
She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good, make a grown man cry
Sweet cherry pie, oh yeah
Like a trained professional
Swingin the bathroom, swingin' on the floor
Swingin' so hard, we forgot to lock the door
In walks her daddy standin' 6 foot 4
He said, "You ain't gonna swing with my daughter no more"
She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise
Tastes so good, make a grown man cry
Sweet cherry pie, oh yeah
Kol chuckled and grinned as he let her hand go. He reminded of what she expected a 16 year old boy discovering porn would look like. "I dare say you can dance, darling" Kol smirked with a raised brow
Jacqueline rolled her eyes, "I enjoy a party as much as the next girl"
Kol laughed, "Darling I do believe I would like to attend a party in which girls dance like that"
Jacqueline snorted, "You've never been to a party? Like a 'let's get drunk in the woods and run from cops' kind of party?" She was slightly floored at the realisation
Kol made a face.
"I wouldn't need to run from the police-" Kol looked offended
Jacqueline rolled her eyes, "Here" she walked over to him and placed her hand on his temples as she pushed her memories into his mind.
Parties.
Weed.
Dancing.
Beer.
Boys.
Jacqueline let Kol watch most of the trouble she and her friends had gotten into as teens. She showed him moments of dancing and drinking. The time she and a few friends jumped into the lake naked. Jacqueline fondly recalled when she had been arrested for stealing a police car and being so drunk they barely made it down the road.
She was grinning when she pulled away.
"The sheriffs department hated you, darling" Kol smirked
Jacqueline shook her head with a scoff, "I was always in trouble. Became the towns very own delinquent"
Kol laughed and nodded, "You jumped into a lake naked with your friends. I do believe you then kissed-"
"I didn't mean to show you that part" she interrupted him with a look. "Regardless. You need to go to some adult rated parties"
"I do believe I would have a grand time" Kol agreed cheekily
"Just don't say 'grand time' when your there" she snorted
REBEKAH POV:
Rebekah was admittedly a little nervous to be having a key to Jacquelines house. It was such a mundane thing but it still felt entirely significant. Rebekah was happy to be trusted with a key and the responsibility that came along with it.
She smiled a little as she's walked up to Jacquelines house.
It was a lot smaller than her own house with her brothers, but she never minded. Rebekah was just happy to spend time with her girlfriend. In fact, today was a little more significant because Rebekah was arriving before dinner.
Usually she didn't come over until after.
This time she would be spending time with Tyler and Jeremy as well. Though Rebekah found herself rather looking forward to that. Tyler was like a younger brother to Jacqueline and Jeremy was like a son. Rebekah hoped she'd be able to get to know them both since they're family now.
She should have done it sooner, she knew that.
Rebekah opened the door and stuck her head in, she could hear conversation in the entertainment room. Shutting the door behind her she went to join them. Jacqueline was sitting on the couch watching both Tyler and Jeremy. Tyler was using the Tv to play some sort of game that he was apparently loosing at. Jeremy was on the floor at Jacqueline's feet surrounded by a few textbooks and what was no doubt homework. Rebekah couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the sight it made.
It was a nice sight to see
Rebekah could feel the love and happiness radiating through their bond from Jacqueline.
It might be simple, but it was a family moment.
Jacqueline looked over her shoulder and beamed when she realised Rebekah was there. Rebekah easily returned the smile and quickly pecked a kiss to her girlfriends lips before joining them on the couch.
"Hey Rebekah" Tyler paused in his game to give her a nod and smile
"Hi what are playing?" Rebekah ventured into asking, hoping it wouldn't be like when Kol starts to rant about something.
"Call of duty. It's fun - but I'm still learning how to play" Tyler grinned, "Then I'm gonna beat Jaq's scores"
Jacqueline scoffed and smirked widely at the challenge.
"What is the Whiskey Rebellion (1794)?" Jeremy asked looking up at Jacqueline with a sigh.
Jacqueline ran a hand through Jeremys hair, comfortingly for the stressed and confused boy. "1794 there was a Rebellion, a Whiskey Rebellion, against liquor tax" she answered
Rebekah hummed, "It was quite the time..." she remembered the uproar of men and women at the time. Kol had taken particular enjoyment in joining in on the Rebellion. The people at the time had certainly not been happy. Kol had enjoyed the loud rowdiness of the entire thing. Though Kol had also been unhappy with having less access to liquor, he just resorted to compelling it for himself anyway.
Rebekah rolled her eyes
However, Jeremy was looking at her curiously now. "You were there?" He asked
"I'm a 1000 years old" She smirked, "I was here for most of the main American historical events"
"Well Can you help me then? I just need a brief explanation of what the Rebellion was about" Jeremy gave his best smile
Rebekah chuckled but nodded, "U.S. President George Washington sent troops to western Pennsylvania in 1794 to quell the Whiskey Rebellion. The rebellion was an uprising by citizens who refused to pay a liquor tax. Secretary of Treasury Alexander Hamilton raised taxes for the national debt and to assert the power of the national government"
Jeremy nodded, "All that over taxes?"
Rebekah hummed, "It was about more than simply taxes though. Whiskey was an informal currency at the time. People made exchanges for things they needed"
"Really?" Jeremy frowned, "If they couldn't trade how did they pay for things?"
She smiled at the 16 year old and shrugged. "That was the issue. They couldn't, not when their livelihoods were restricted and taken away"
"Thanks, Rebekah" Jeremy smiled and went back to writing his homework answers.
Rebekah couldn't deny she felt a certain happiness at having helped with his homework. Though it had been a simple task it still felt good to have helped. Rebekah was glad Jeremy didn't see her as the person Elena had painted her to be still. She desperately wanted to get along with the boys.
She looked to Jacqueline.
Jacqueline was smiling softly as she watched them. A brilliant smile was on her girlfriends face when they met eyes.
Rebekah grinned right back.
"Does spaghetti and meatballs sound alright for dinner?" Jacqueline asked
Rebekah nodded, "It sounds lovely. Would you like help?"
Jacqueline shrugged, "Sure. There's not much to do but you can keep me company"
She chuckled and followed Jacqueline into the kitchen. It looked like the meal had already been started. Jacqueline went straight to the oven and pulled out a dish of meatballs. Rebekah sat down and watched her girlfriend moved about the kitchen.
She couldn't help but briefly admire her girlfriends body idly as she watched.
Jacqueline set about beginning the pasta sauce and the pasta with ease. Rebekah focused and recalled the parts of Jacqueline's life she had seen when forming their bond. She knew that Jacqueline almost always made dinner for her family. In fact, Jacqueline made almost every meal for her family.
Rebekah admired the way that Jacqueline had stepped up.
Just as Jeremy had said at dinner the other night. Jacqueline had stepped up to be a mother even when she had been a child herself. The jobs like washing, cooking, cleaning all fell to Jacqueline along with supporting Elena and Jeremy.
It was a real shame Elena couldn't see that.
The again, Rebekah doubted Elena was capable of seeing it. Thus is the curse of the doppelgänger.
At least Jacqueline seemed to be dealing with it well enough...
"What are you thinking about, hm?" Jacqueline asked as she came to lean on the bench opposite Rebekah.
Rebekah smirked and brushed a few strands that had come loose of Jacqueline's braid away. Tenderly she leaned forward and kissed Jacqueline. Allowing the admiration and love she felt to be pushed through their connection.
"You" she rolled her eyes, "I was just thinking about you"
Jacqueline smirked, "What exactly were you thinking about me?"
Laughing, she pulled Jacqueline's hands until Jacqueline walked around to her side of the bench. Rebekah turned in her stood and wrapped her arms around her girlfriends waist. "I was thinking of how much I love you" she said honestly
Jacqueline pecked her lips again and nodded, "I love you too"
"I never said thank you for the tattoo this morning" Rebekah began with a soft smile as held Jacqueline a little closer. Not that they could really get any closer at this point. "I really am happy with how it turned out. So, thank you. You did a great job"
"You didn't have to thank me, baby" Jacqueline said, "And I think the butterflies look amazing on you"
"We should shop for new dresses for the upcoming masquerade party. I want my dress to have a low back so that my tattoos can be seen" Rebekah said
Jacqueline nodded, "If you don't find one, I believe I have a few like that. My dresses do all tend to be..." she trailed off and searched for the right word.
Rebekah smirked, "Rather sexy" she supplied easily
Jacqueline snorted but shrugged, "Sexy in an elegant and appropriate way though. I'm never trashy or too revealed"
Rebekah nodded at that.
It was the truth.
Rebekah tended to dress more expensively when shopping for parties or events. She always had some necklace of bracelet as an accessory. However, Jacqueline's dresses tended to be more elegant and sexy. Always showing off just enough of her figure and skin for her to look more sexy than conservative.
Jacqueline pulls it off well though.
Rebekah was still yet to learn enough about the 21st century to really be able to look effortlessly sexy. Cause the word has a new definition now, then it had back in the 90s when she had been daggered last.
Rebekah had only been undaggered for about 8 months now!
"Do you want to tell the boys dinners ready?" Jacqueline asked with a sigh as she pulled away from the embrace. "The pasta and sauce are just about done"
Rebekah nodded
She went back into the living room and found Jeremy and Tyler sitting as they had been before she left. Rebekah chuckled, "Jacqueline says dinner is ready" she announced
"Cool" Tyler nodded and shut off the game before jumping up and heading for the kitchen.
Jeremy looked relieved to be finished with homework for the moment. The 16 year old practically ran for the kitchen.
Rebekah only shook her head in find amusement as she followed behind them. Jacqueline was already making the final touches on dinner when she walked back into the kitchen.
"How can i help?" Rebekah asked
Jacqueline smiled, "You can grab the bowls and silverware from the cupboard for me"
Rebekah nodded and grabbed the dishes. She brought them over to the bench and helped Jacqueline begin to plate the first servings of food. It smelt delicious and Rebekah had no doubt that it would taste just as good.
The boys arguing made Rebekah smile a little.
It reminded her very much if her one brothers, with the way Kol and Nik always bickered.
"Tyler I swear to god if you mess with his assignment I'll curse you to turn into a Chihuahua on the full moon!" Jacqueline snapped but looked entirely serious in the threat
Tyler stared at her, as if trying to decide just how serious she was.
"Hey, he would be able to stay in the house on full moons then!" Jeremy laughed loudly at the idea.
Tyler glared.
Jacqueline's lips quirked up but at least she didn't laugh. Though Rebekah could feel the amusement through their bond regardless.
"Fine!" Tyler huffed, "I'll leave it alone! But if you turn me into a Chihuahua-"
"You'll what?" Jeremy retorted mockingly, "Yap at us?"
Tyler rolled his eyes, "I'll piss on the carpet too" he joked
Jacqueline snorted
"Come on" Jacqueline rolled her eyes, "Dinner is ready" though she barely got the words out before the two boys were up and grabbing plates.
Rebekah smirked and took her own to seat at the table with them.
Jacqueline reached over interlocked their fingers as they ate. Rebekah smiled at the loving action and held Jacqueline's hand through the meal. She listened and participated in the dinner conversation. She was reminded of her own family meals in which they playfully bickered and argued. Jacqueline took on a similar role to Elijah but she participated more in the banter than Elijah would. Rebekah found it amusing to listen to the three of them.
"On a more serious note" Jacqueline cut in, "What do you have planned for the upcoming full moon?"
Tyler shrugged, "I'm getting better at it. I can tell, cause I have a lot more awareness of my actions now than I did in the beginning"
Jacqueline nodded, "The Pack really did help"
"Yeah" Tyler agreed as he ate. "I think I'll be going to the Lockwood cellar this full moon though"
Jacqueline didn't look happy about that idea and pursed her lips.
Rebekah tightened her hold on her girlfriends hand in support.
"I could teleport you back to New Orleans that morning instead. If you would rather be with the Pack for the full moon?" Jacqueline offered with a small smile at Tyler
Tyler nodded, "Really?"
Jacqueline nodded, "You could even go see Davina again. She's been asking me when I can teleport her for dinner again"
Rebekah chuckled in amusement at hearing that. She had gotten along with Davina when they had met. The girl was sweet and curious about everything. Apparently Davinas coven had painted both BloodWitches and Vampires as pure evil beings - Davina was rather glad to see that her Coven had been wrong.
It had been nice to see.
Rebekah even enjoyed the small conversation with Davina. Though she could tell the girl had been extremely bored and lonely living in the Church. It would be good for Davina to come and socialise without risking exposing her location.
"Yeah. Marcel got busy not long after you left so I got to see her less and less in person" Tyler grumbled, "But we still talk on the phone. Apparently Marcel brought spells or something for her to practice"
Jacqueline nodded, "She'd like that"
"She does" Tyler agreed, "But it keeps her busy. Then she gets tiered from using all that magic..."
Rebekah smiled, "And then you end up speaking with her less" she added knowingly
Tyler sighed and nodded
"Why didn't you just ask her out?" Jeremy asked
"Cause she was going back to New Orleans!" Tyler huffed defensively, "What about you? Where's your girlfriend, Huh?"
Jeremy rolled his eyes
Rebekah smiled at the interaction and looked to see Jacqueline watching with fond eyes. Rebekah was glad that she and Jacqueline would forever be together but she was sad to know that one day Tyler and Jeremy would be gone.
It was a fact of life.
A fact that Rebekah had long ago come to accept. Though it was easier to accept it when her family were immoral as well. Rebekah would hate to have to loose Jeremy and Tyler one day. It made her wonder if Jeremy would ever consider turning? Or if Tyler would ever consider becoming a hybrid?
Rebekah bit her lip in thought.
"Have you ever considered talking to Nik about becoming a hybrid?" Rebekah asked Tyler as casually as possible.
It wasn't her place to bring it up, she knew that, but she didn't think Jacqueline was considering what would happen if he didn't. Jacqueline was still getting used to the new shared abilities and was yet to begin thinking of the future.
Such as Jeremy or Tyler dying.
Rebekah didn't want to force anything on anyone, but Nik only has so much doppelgänger blood. There are only so many hybrids that can possibly be turned. If Tyler ever wanted that... well, he would need to speak with Nik soon.
Elena might not always be human.
It may not always be an option to even consider for Tyler.
Tyler frowned in thought, "I never really thought about it..." he trailed off
Jacqueline sighed, "Is that something you want? To be a hybrid?" She asked as she looked at Tyler searchingly.
Rebekah bit her lip.
"Do you-" Tyler looked between both Jacqueline and Rebekah cautiously. "I heard those Hybrids had some sort of sire bond to Klaus? Do you think he would turn me without making me some servant or whatever"
Jacqueline shrugged, "There are ways to remove Sire bonds... but, I think that if you want this, the you need to talk to him about it"
Rebekah nodded and searched Jacqueline's emotions for any anger that the topic had been brought up. When she found none, she added her own opinion. "I could speak with Nik and see what he thinks about it?"
Tyler smiled, "That would be great! If it meant living forever with you guys, not having to turn if it I don't want to - I could live with being half vampire" he nodded
Jeremy frowned, "Your Bond with Rebekah makes you immortal doesn't it?"
Jacqueline nodded and shrugged, "Yeah. It does. Why?" She narrowed her eyes at Jeremy
Jeremy shrugged, "I guess it's just weird thinking about it. Your gonna live basically forever"
Jacqueline hummed
"Well I think one day I should become a vampire-" Jeremy began only to be cut off by Jacqueline
"You can start thinking about that when your 21" Jacqueline said firmly, "That type of decision is forever. I don't have a problem with it - I would be a major hypocrite if I did. However, if that's something your really going to do then it needs to be planned out and not hasty"
Jeremy reluctantly nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I guess"
Tyler nodded, "Do you really want to be 16 forever though? Wouldn't you rather look old enough to get into a bar?"
Jeremy chuckled, "Yeah, yeah, yeah" he waved dismissively but had significantly perked up with a real reason for waiting.
Jacqueline let out a small breath.
"I'd support your choice either way" Jacqueline said to Jeremy. "But there's no need to rush into this decision. We'll cross that bridge when it comes to it, alright?"
"Okay" Jeremy nodded
"Good. Cause you and Tyler are washing the dishes tonight" Jacqueline grinned
"Really?" Tyler complained
Jeremy pulled a face at the task.
Jacqueline merely smirked at their unhappy faces. Though she didn't look like she was backing down. Rebekah chuckled and watched as the two teens gathered the dishes and begrudgingly took them into the kitchen.
"Night boys!" Jacqueline called and stood up, walking out of the room.
Rebekah smiled over her shoulder at them as she followed Jacqueline up to her bedroom. "Are you really okay with them both turning?" She asked as they walked into Jacquelines bedroom.
Jacqueline shrugged, "I'm conflicted. I want them to have happy lives, children, marriage, jobs - but I'm selfish. I never want them to not be in my life"
At least she was honest.
Rebekah understood though, "I find myself thinking the same thing. I should have brought it up to you first though"
Jacqueline sighed, "Baby your family now. This is your family too"
Rebekah smiled and nodded happily.
She was glad that she was considered part of this family. Jacqueline was important to Rebekah and so are Tyler and Jeremy. Contently Rebekah fell back onto the extremely comfortable bed with a small sigh. Her girlfriend was already at the closet getting undressed.
"Tonight was good" Jacqueline commented idly
Rebekah propped herself up on the bed and nodded. She watched Jacqueline's every move as her girlfriend pulled down her curly black hair. The tight natural ringlets fell down Jacqueline's tan back, brushing a tattoo on her hip. Rebekah silently admired the view she was given.
Jacqueline truly is beautiful...
Jacqueline turned with a raised eyebrow and a grin. "You do remember that I can feel what you do, right?"
Rebekah laughed and smirked as she crooked a finger at her girlfriend. She didn't know it was possible for her to look at Jacqueline and not feel lust - and she didn't particularly care to find out.
So what if she found her girlfriend sexy?
Jacqueline smiled and walked over to the bed, coming to stand in between Rebekah's legs that were half hanging off the edge. Rebekah reached forward and grabbed Jacqueline's hands, pulling her Bonded on top of her as they lay down.
Rebekah smiled
"I love you" Rebekah grinned and kissed her girlfriend soundly.
