The sun was peeking over the tops of the trees when we reached our destination. The sky was a mix of purple and pink, and the clouds were white and puffy. They looked almost as if they were made of cotton. I stretched my arms above my head, and yawned loudly. All Might kept his blue eyes on me watching and waiting for me to make a move.

"I'm not going anywhere." I reassured him.

"A wise choice, young Suzume." he laughed wholeheartedly.

He reached over and fumbled with my wooden restraints. They broke with a loud snap under his massive hands, and I rubbed my wrists.

"Where are we anyways?" I questioned, looking up at the glass H shaped building in front of us.

"U.A. High School." All Might puffed out his chest proudly.

"Why exactly are we here?" I asked, looking up at him.

"You'll see soon enough." he responded.

He strode happily to the front doors of the school, stopping only momentarily to shake a student's hand, or snap a quick selfie. He scribbled an autograph or two, and then waved to the quickly gathering crowd that was swooning over his presence. The whole display made my skin crawl, but I hid my subtle disgust, and kept my eyes on the ground.

"You've never been one to disappoint the masses." a woman's flirtatious voice said.

All Might turned around, and smiled.

"Midnight." he replied.

The woman was dressed in a tight outfit, and her long, dark hair flowed just above her shoulders like a dark, cascading waterfall. Her bright blue eyes lingered on All Might's face.

"So this is her?" she pointed a long, dark painted fingernail in my direction.

The smile faded from her lips as she looked at me. All Might nodded.

"This is Stryker's daughter, Miya Suzume." he said.

Midnight kept her eyes on me.

"She doesn't look much like him. She's cute." she replied as she walked around me.

She stopped at my back, and was silent for several seconds.

"A flight Quirk. Interesting. Her wings are completely made of metal. Aizawa might take her." I was unsure if she was speaking to herself, or to All Might.

"Excuse me, but what the hell are you talking about? Who's taking me, and for what reason?" I snapped.

I was getting impatient. Midnight giggled in a childish manner.

"She doesn't know?" her gaze went back to All Might.

"Obviously she doesn't know." I said, feeling my cheeks start to burn with anger.

All Might laid a heavy hand on my shoulder. I felt my muscles tense as I glared at him.

"Of course she doesn't, but she will." he winked, and it sent Midnight into a bout of schoolgirlish giggling once again.

I momentarily wondered if watching middle aged Heros flirt with each other was the torture I was about to be subjected to. Would whoever this Aizawa person they were talking about join in? I cringed as I attempted to erase the thought from my mind.

"You better get going," Midnight finally suggested, "Nezu has been pacing the windows of his office for hours." she sighed.

All Might let out a hearty laugh as he waved swiftly in her direction.

"Shall we?" he looked down at me.

"Do I have a choice?" I asked.

He smiled, and strutted towards the doors. He threw them open, and led me down a long hallway. We walked past classrooms, and locker rooms, and a large cafeteria with food that smelled so delicious that my stomach roared in angry protest when we didn't stop for a bite to eat. I silently hoped that All Might would suggest stopping for something to eat, but it was all for naught when he continued walking down the hallway. He suddenly stopped in front of a closed, faux wooden door, and turned to look at me.

"I have a favor to ask of you, Young Suzume." he mumbled.

It seemed out of character for him, and I turned my head curiously.

"When we pass through this door I need you to be respectful, and polite. Principal Nezu is giving me some of his very valuable time. Please do not show off your shining personality you've displayed thus far. If you need, please remain silent, and let me do the talking." he said, keeping his eyes on the doorknob.

I inhaled, and exhaled attempting to ignore his obvious insult to my personality.

"Scout's honor." I said, raising two fingers.

He smiled crookedly as he twisted the doorknob, and pushed the door open.

"I am here in your office because you asked me to be!" All Might declared loudly.

"Ah, Toshinori! What a relief. I was beginning to worry." a voice said.

"My apologies, Nezu." All Might replied.

"Oh, no apologies needed. So, where is our esteemed guest?" the voice questioned.

All Might motioned for me to step into the room, and when I did there were two individuals looking back at me. One was a younger girl with a high, spiky ponytail, and wide eyes. She was dressed in a formal, gray jacket, and had a white shirt and tie underneath. She brushed a strand of dark hair away from her cheeks as she smiled at me. The other was a small, white animal that stood on a chair at the head of the long, empty table in the middle of the room. Its ears moved back and forth as it kept its beady black eyes on me.

"Nezu, this is Stryker's daughter, Miya Shuzume." All Might announced.

I looked over at the girl waiting for her to introduce herself. Someone coughed, and cleared their throat, but it wasn't the girl.

"Absolutely splendid to meet you, Miss Suzume." I turned towards the source of the voice.

The white animal stood in front of me. Its black beady eyes were watching me as it extended a tiny paw. The rectangular ears on top of its head twitched happily.

"Oh, um. Yeah. Nice to meet you as well." I replied, feeling my cheeks start to burn in embarrassment.

I shook his tiny paw, and immediately noticed how soft, and shiny his fur was. He withdrew his paw, and gestured for me to sit down in an empty chair. All Might and the girl followed suit, and also sat down.

"Let me also introduce a student of this fine school, Momo Yaoyorozu. She happens to be the Vice President of class 1-A and she's a very talented hero in training." Nezu smiled proudly.

The girl blushed as she turned her head away.

"Now, let's discuss the reason you were brought to us." he smiled, but there was an odd darkness behind his eyes.

"Yaoyorozu, the device if you please." he looked over at her.

She squirmed in her chair, and then reached under the table and pulled out an item that looked as if it were a weighted bracelet. Nezu walked towards me, and slipped the device over my hand, and locked it with a click.

"What the hell is this?" I asked, holding my arm up.

Nezu smiled coldly.

"Congratulations. As of today you are officially a student at U.A. High School." he said.
