"Wait, wait, wait so you're going on a date with Kaminari?"

A pink skinned girl with dark eyes and antennae studied my face curiously.

"Uh, yes?"

"Denki Kaminari. From our class. Girl crazy Kaminari. You," she pointed a finger at me, "are going on a date with him?"

She pointed into the distance as if he'd be summoned on the spot.

"Is there a problem with that?" I asked.

"Wha- huh? No, not at all. At least it's not Todoroki, right Yaoyorozu?"

She nudged Yaoyorozu playfully with her elbow, and winked. Yaoyorozu looked mildly annoyed as her face turned pink.

"Enough, Ashido."

She flicked her hand playfully at the girl, and the girl flitted away in a playful manner.

We walked back to the dorms in absolute silence. Once or twice Yaoyorozu would inhale, hold her breath, and exhale loudly.

"It's not like we didn't try." she broke the silence as we climbed into the elevator.

"Hmm?"

She focused her eyes on the floor. Sadness flashed through them as she blinked, and fidgeted with a loose strand of hair.

"Todoroki and I. We tried to go out a few times. It was just," she sighed sadly, "not the right time. I don't know how he feels, but my feelings for him are still there." she finished.

"Feelings for him?"

She smiled crookedly, and looked back at me.

"You don't know what it means to have feelings for someone, do you?"

I shook my head.

"It's just been my Father and I for as long as I can remember. I'm sure the last thing on his mind was explaining boys to his daughter."

She laughed loudly as she placed a hand on my shoulder.

"When you find the right person you'll know."

Kaminari's face flashed in my mind, and I suddenly found myself wondering how I felt about him.

"Ah, Miss Suzume."

Principal Nezu was waiting by the elevator with his paws folded together.

"I know you made the trip all the way here, but I'm going to have to ask you to come with me."

"Is everything okay, sir?" Yaoyorozu asked from beside me.

Principal Nezu giggled.

"Now, now don't concern yourself at all, Yaoyorozu. I just have a task I need Miss Suzume to assist me with. That's all." he smiled.

"First and foremost," he reached up, and grabbed my wrist where the nullifying device rested, "let's remove this, shall we?"

He unlocked it with a click, and slid it into his pocket.

"A deal is a deal. However I'll be hanging onto it just in case of any slip ups that may occur. Now, if you'll please follow me."

He climbed into the elevator, and motioned for me to follow. Yaoyorozu kept her eyes on us until the doors slid closed.

"Mr. Aizawa has come to me with a few concerns." Nezu started.

I rolled my eyes.

"Like how dare I be at this school without taking the entrance exam?" I sighed.

He giggled eerily.

"Not exactly. There are, in fact, a few things I'd like to see with my own eyes. Just to put these concerns to rest."

The elevator doors slid open, and the nervous green haired boy I had briefly seen in class was waiting on the other side. His equally green eyes opened in astonishment when he looked at me.

"Right on time." Nezu smiled.

The green haired boy looked from Nezu to me several times, and turned his head in a confused fashion.

"Miss Suzume, let me introduce you to Izuku Midorya. I'm sure you've had the pleasure of meeting each other in class."

Midorya stared at me, and shook his head.

"N-not formally, sir."

He seemed nervous even when he spoke.

"Classmates that hardly know each other. How peculiar. Well, this is Miya Suzume, but I'm sure you already know that much."

"I'm the girl everybody seems to be afraid of because my Father is a villian." I said in a hushed voice.

"You seem perfectly nice to me. I-I really appreciated you standing up to Kacchan the other day."

"Ah, Bakugo. Always quite the troublemaker. Now, I'm sure you're both wondering why I've asked you here."

Midorya and I stared unblinking at the white creature before us. The air around Nezu had become ominous, and he folded his paws menacingly.

"You two are going to be fighting."

"Wha-what?"

"Fighting who?" I asked.

"Each other. Oh, come now it's just friendly hand to hand combat."

"Do you even have a reason for us to fight, or are you just pitting two students together for pure enjoyment?" I snapped.

Nezu's ears twitched, and the smile never left his lips.

"As I've said before Miss Suzume, Mr. Aizawa has some slight concerns. I'd like to address them."

"So you're forcing me to fight another student?"

"Yes. Or we could go with the latter. It's completely up to you.

I felt the feathers on my wings start to rise as red hot anger coursed through my veins.

"What would that be?"

His black eyes sparkled as he looked up at me.

"I'll send you to a detention center for troubled juveniles." he smiled.

"S-sir." Midorya piped up.

Nezu turned, and looked up at him.

"That won't be necessary. I'll agree to the fight if it means Miya stays.

My stomach knotted as he smiled at me.

"Fantastic. Miss Suzume? Do we have your cooperation as well?"

"Of course. Sir." I said with an acidic tone.

He clapped his paws together happily.

"Splendid. The event will occur one week from today. I have to talk Cementoss into making proper preparations. Oh, this is just fantastic. Thank you, both of you. You're both dismissed.

He disappeared in a sea of murmuring students, and Midorya and I were left staring at each other.

"So, um, wha-"

"Why did you do that?"

He took a step back.

"I, uh, d-do what?"

"You agreed to fight me so I wouldn't have to leave. Why?"

"You don't seem as bad as everyone says you do."

He smiled warmly at me as he closed his eyes, and tilted his head.

"Well, thanks." I murmured.

We started to walk back towards the dorms in silent thought. Every so often Midorya would mumble, and shake his head as if he were trying to solve something without writing it down.

"Hey, Suzume?" he finally spoke.

I looked over at him, but he wasn't looking at me. He kept his eyes on the ground, and his brows were still furrowed in deep thought.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"I-I know it's seemingly obvious what your Quirk is," he looked at my wings, "but what exactly is it that you do with it?"

I couldn't stop myself from laughing. It seemed to confuse him more.

"Midorya, if I have to fight you I'm not going to tell you what I use my Quirk for. That seems a little unfair."

"O-oh. Right." He looked back at the ground.

We climbed into the dorm's elevator, and he waved goodbye in a friendly manner when we arrived on the second floor.

"This is fucking perfect." I said aloud.

My head throbbed, and my stomach ached. I rubbed my temples gently, attempting to quell the pain that was rapidly spreading.

"Hey."

My eyes snapped open, and my vision was slightly blurry from how tightly they had been shut. Todoroki was looking in my direction. A confused look was plastered on his face.

"O-oh. Hey. Going to see Yaoyorozu?"

"No. I was actually looking for you."

My breath caught in my throat, and I hoped he didn't hear.

"Me? What for?"

He shrugged his shoulders coolly, and kept his eyes on me.

"Listen, I know you've got plans with Kaminari, but I was thinking maybe we could get together sometime."

I wasn't sure why, but the sudden urge to laugh crept up from the pits of my stomach. I fought it off silently, and started wondering when the hell I became so desirable.
