With the danger of the Shadow Servants lurking in the city, Ritsuka now has to ally himself with the rest of the Masters in order to face this new threat.
Ritsuka now stanted outside of the house, looking at the rising sun while he thinked of his new mission.
While he enjoyed the solitude, it was quickly interrupted by Rin's Servant, Archer, or EMIYA, as he knew him.
"I see you got up early" - the red bowman said - "But you don't seem like one to do that" -
"Oh, hi Archer. I just couldn't sleep well, I keep thinking about the Shadow Servants that attacked us before and who would have enough mana to create them, it just doesn't make sense to me" -
"Well, whoever make them wants us gone clearly, otherweise they would've ignored you, my Master and Caster" -
"That's obvious, but who would want that is still beyond me" - the Master took that oportunity to talk with this world's EMIYA. Simply for looking at him, he knew that he was different than the one he knew from Chaldea - "By the way Archer, what os your wish for this Holy Grail?" -
"My wish? I don't have one, I'm simply here because I was summoned, nothing more" -
"Really? But there's something you might want, even if it isn't really big" - Ritsuka said, trying to start a conversation - "As for me, I alredy have what I want, but if I could ask for something... Well, I'd like to see my parents once more" -
"Your parents?" -
"Yes, I've been far away from them for so long and haven't been able to see them, not even a call" -
Even with Ritsuka's story, Archer remained serious, but the Master of Chaldea could see that EMIYA felt sorry at him, even if he didn't wanted to show it.
"I feel sorry for you" - was the only thing EMIYA said - "But now you can't think of things like that, we have bigger problems to think about" -
"Yes, I know" - Ritsuka started to think - "The other Masters would be helpful for this fight, so contacting them would be the best for the moment" -
"I agree. So far, I know that the Master of Berserker is agressive and wouldn't want to cooperate" -
"Yes, Rin told me something about it, but I'm curious about the other Masters, especially the Rider and Saber's one" -
"The Master of Saber? I wouldn't recommend that, he wouldn't be really helpful in our mission" -
"What do you mean?" -
"That kid is no Mage nor a Master, he just happened to be at the right place at the wrong time and got into the war on accident. If he joined us, he would most likely drag us down" -
Ritsuka remembered what Da Vinci told him about the Master of Artoria in this War, Shirou Emiya, son of Kiritsugu Emiya and a wannabe Hero of Justice. While it was true that as a Mage, he was pretty bad, he had potential in the right situations, so they couldn't leave him behind.
"I understand what you say, but at this point we'll need as much help as we can get. I'll go search for the Master of Rider, tell Rin to go with the Master of Saber" -
With that, the Master of Chaldea retired while EMIYA looked at him with a serious face.
In the middle of the walk in the city, Medusa, now dressed in casual clothes, joined her temporal Master while he was searching for the house.
"Tell me Medusa, where do you think I can find her?" - he asked refering to Rider's True Master.
"At this hour she would probably be in the Emiya Residence, but considering what happened to Shinji, she's probably in the Matou Residence. We can find it southern of Miyama Town" -
"Thanks, I just hope that..." -
"What do you hope?" -
"No, nothing, I was going to say that I hope she's fine" -
In his mind, Fujimaru was hoping that Zouken didn't did anything to her. He was regretting nearly killing Shinji when he just arrived, as that probably caught Zouken's attention, and god knows what could happen now.
"There's a good chance that he's controlling the Shadow Servants, so we must be careful when reaching the Residence" - he thought as they got closer and closer.
After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at their destination, a big western style mansion, but weirdly enough no sound came from inside the house, was there a trap inside? Could Zouken know they were coming?
"I have a bad feeling about this Medusa" -
"Worry not Master, I am here for you" - Salter appeared from behind them. Weird, as Ritsuka thought she'd stay asleep after she left - "By the way, never go out without my protection" -
With one kick, the Alter Servant destroyed the door and together with Medusa, both entered and started to search for Sakura, but there were no traces of her anywhere. In fact, it looked as no one had been in the house for years, as everything was filled with dust and insects roamed around the house freely.
"This... This is wrong, something about this place is wrong" - Ritsuka said as he started to get nervous - "Da Vinci, can you scan the area?" -
He tried to communicate with Chaldea, but recieved no answer from them. He tried once again, but the same result came to pass.
"Master, get behind me!" - Salter screamed as she changed from normal clothes to her armor, Medusa also did the same.
All around them, black tentacles started to rise from the ground and attempted to grab the three of them. The Servants attacked to defend their Master while Ritsuka quickly changed to the Chaldea Combat Mystic Code to use Gandr against the tentacles.
After fending off a couple of waves of their enemies, everything seemed to return to normal, but a blinding light surrounded them out of nowhere and caused all of them to black out.
After waking up again, the 3 found themselves in the living room of the Mansion, sitting in the couch as if they've been watching television instead of fighting whatever attacked them in the first place.
"Where... What happened?" - Ritsuka asked himself.
"Ritsuka Kun!? Oh thank the gods, we've finally got contact with you!" - from Chaldea, Da Vinci screamed in joy.
"What...?" -
"Out of nowhere contact was vut and we couldn't comunicate nor see what was going on, but I'm glad you're ok. Mash, Ritsuka's fine!" -
"Senpai! I knew leaving you was a bad idea, I'm going as soon as I can!" -
"Wait everyone..." -
Before they could keep talking, the sound of footsteps interrupted them and from the upper floor, came a girl with purple hair and eyes, carring a blanket.
"Oh, you're finally awake" - she said with a smile.
"Sakura..." -
