Izuku woke up more excited than he has ever felt in his life. He pulled back his emotions and let them fizzle away. He'd finally made his first true step to controlling his quirk. He felt determined to overcome any obstacle and master his quirk and become a hero that everyone will look up to. Izuku put on some clothes and went to his mom's door to see if she is awake. He cracked the door open to peek in and saw that she was still asleep.

'Thank you, mom. I promise I won't let you down.' He thought with determination. With that, he went out to meet Ben at the park. He wondered where Ben would train him at now. It didn't take long before the park was in sight and he saw that Ben hadn't arrived yet. He decided he meditate before Ben arrived.

He closed his eyes and immersed himself in the force like he did yesterday. Just like yesterday, he felt the force in everyone and everything around him. One thing he didn't expect was to find out everyone had a small touch of the force within them. It was barely noticeable but it was there. Even some of the animals had a bit. Suddenly he felt a massive force signature beside him and opened his eyes to see someone besides him.

"Hello there. I see you've made some great progress." Ben said with a proud smile on his face. "Follow me, I know somewhere secluded that we can begin training with your lightsaber." Izuku looked at him in confusion until he remembered the green light thing he showed Ben yesterday. "Is that what it's called?" He asked. Ben looked back at him. "All of your questions will be answered in due time. Remember patience is a great tool to help you solve any problem." Ben led Izuku over to a nearby parking lot where he had an old and worn-out truck parked. "I've decided that my home would be the best way to train at. I know it seems strange but there are reasons that I will explain once we arrive." Ben said. Izuku was hesitant but Ben had done nothing to warrant suspicion and he had done nothing but help Izuku. He got into the truck with Ben and buckled up. Ben started the truck and started the drive home. Izuku watched out the window at the passing scenery while Ben drove. Eventually Ben made a turn into a road that led into the woods. They sat in silence as Ben drove for a while. Izuku lost count of how long they were out but it didn't take much longer for them to reach a clearing in the woods where Izuku saw a small cabin nearby. It looked like it had been hand-built and there was a rusted truck nearby. There was also a large farm plot with crops growing on it. Ben stopped and turned to Izuku.

"This is where ill be training you from now on. There is someone else I want you to meet before we start." Ben said as they got out of the truck and walked to his cabin and knocked on the door. Izuku heard some shuffling at the door before some opened it. It was a boy that looked to be older than him. He looked distinctly American with sea-blue eyes and sandy blond hair. "Is this who you said you were going to bring to training Obi-wan." The boy said. "Yes, it is. Izuku meet and Luke and Luke meet Izuku." Ben said. "Uhh. Hello Luke." Izuku said nervously. He then turned to Ben. "Why did he call you Obi-wan?" He asked. "Because that is my name. When I'm in public I have to hide my name so I go by Ben in public. Here let us go inside," Ben opened the door to his home. "I will explain everything now. Let's take a seat. Luke, you can go and continue your training." Yes, master." Luke said. He left the hut and went off to do his training. "Izuku follow me and we can begin." Ben got up and Izuku followed behind him.

They walked into the home and Izuku examined the house. It was littered with tools and all of the furniture looked handcrafted. Izuku took a seat on a chair within the home while Ben sat on the handcrafted bed. "Now Izuku I know you have a lot of questions and I can answer them now." Ben said. "Why did you change your name and why is your home so far out. You said you had to hide your name but why?" He asked. It made Izuku nervous knowing Ben had to hide his name and lived so far away from the nearest town. Was he some type of criminal or villain? These thoughts made Izuku nervous. As if Ben heard his thoughts he put a hand on Izuku's shoulder for reassurance. "There is no need to worry Izuku. The reason I've had to change my name and take refuge so far out is because there is a group of villains that are after me and anyone like me." Ben said. "What do you mean villains are after you? And what do you mean people like you? Is that why you said you were going to start training me here now instead of at the park? When you said people like you do you mean people that can use the force? If so does that mean I have to worry about villains attacking me?" Izuku said shooting out questions frantically feeling a sense of panic rise in himself.

"Izuku calm yourself. While yes there are villains after me they have no clue where I am. We are well protected out here. You were correct in your assumption about them targeting people with the force. I was once a part of a group of force wielders and we protected people almost like heroes but we were independent of the government. Sadly we are no more and any remaining members are in hiding." Ben stopped talking looked to be reminiscing on the past for a moment. "Izuku you must decide now if you want to continue your training. If you decide to continue the path you walk then you must be ready to face them in the future because I don't doubt that you may face them in the future. With this knowledge do you wish to continue your training Izuku?" Ben asked. Izuku closed his eyes and let the force wash away his panic. He still felt a bit of fear but he let himself remember his mons words from the day before. He couldn't give up now when he has a way to achieve his dreams.

He steeled his nerves and looked Ben in The eye. "I can't give up now. I'll take whatever challenge you have and overcome it." He said. Ben gave him a smile that showed how proud he was. "I'm proud of you Izuku. Your training has only begun but you have already erased all of my doubts about you. I will make sure you are ready to show the world what you can do. Also, my real name is Obi-wan Kenobi. You can call me whatever suits you while we are out here. Make sure to never use my name in public though. Now let us begin" Obi-wan held out his hand and balled it into a fist. Suddenly a blue light began to come from his hand and took a familiar shape. Izuku looked on wide-eyed. "Everyone with a connection with the force can learn how to use this ability. It's called a lightsaber and it is very dangerous without proper training. I'm going to be teaching you how to control the output as I am. Let us continue from here outside."

Obi-wan got up walked outside. Izuku followed closely behind him.

He was led to an area where there was a lot of rusted metal junk. Once they got close Obi-wan turned to him and brought out his lightsaber again. He held it out and cut into some of the junk. He pulled it out and suddenly the lightsaber he held started to dim. He turned it towards the junk again and this time it didn't cut through it. "Now what I'm doing is controlling the output of the energy in giving the blade. This is something you must master so you don't accidentally hurt someone with this. Now I want you to see if you can do as I have." Obi-wan said. Izuku brought out his lightsaber and felt the flow of the force into his hand to maintain it. He started to limit the flow of the force but that resulted in the lightsaber fading away. He tried again to similar results. He tried again and felt a lower input of energy this time. He turned the blade towards the junk and the blade melted through the trash. He kept working on lowering his input for a while before frustration started to set in.

"Don't worry if it doesn't come immediately. This is something that will take time. I don't expect you to get everything on the first try. Remember that patience is the best teacher." Obi-wan said to him feeling his frustration. He practiced for a while more with guidance from Obi-wan before he started feeling a strain when drawing from the force. "Let's call it here for today Izuku. I can see that you are starting to feel a strain from continuous use of the force and you need to rest." Obi-wan told him. "But I can continue sensei." Izuku said in protest. "Izuku you will eventually get this down but you don't want to overwork yourself. It can do more harm than good. Also, the continued use of the force you used today will help you build up your reserves for the future. Remember what I said earlier. Patience will be needed to master your abilities." Obi-wan said to him. Obi-wan walked to the truck with Izuku behind him. They both got in and Obi-wan began the drive back to Izuku's home.

"Thank you sensei. Everything you are doing for me means a lot to me." Izuku suddenly said to him. "There is no need to thank me Izuku. You are the one doing all of the work. I'm just giving you a guiding hand. As long as you keep the effort you showed today then you will master the force in no time. I can pick you up at 10 AM to begin training tomorrow. Also, I want you to start working out some. You need to be strong mentally and physically to master the force." Obi-wan said to him. They sat in silence for the rest of the drive and when Izuku arrived home he felt the fatigue of all of his use of the force start to set in. He decided that he would go to sleep early to get some exercise in before Obi-wan picked him up tomorrow.

Let me know if there are any issues with this chapter and I hope you all enjoy it. Remember that reviews really help me out and any suggestions and tips will be greatly appreciated. Also Luke is here. He will get more time in future chapters but I wanted to start the training for Izuku and I didn't want to move away from that. One quick question. Should I finish the mini training arc in one chapter or should I continue with how I am now. It will definitely take a while because I don't write every day but I could get it done. I feel like the chapters will grow in size once I get to UA and I have more to write about. I feel like I'm getting better but at the same time I feel like a like of It is in a 3rd person perspective. Ive been trying to fix this but there are some moments where i think it feels like this. Let me know if you have any tips or anything that can help.
