'PokeSpeech'

"Normal Speech"

Pallet Town, Professor Oak's Lab

The day was normal. Pidgeys and Spearows were chirping, Rattatas scurrying, and Pokemon were doing their normal behaviors. Wild and trained.

At least a majority were.

At Oak's Lab, thirty two Pokémon were all on edge. They didn't know what was, but something had them on their feet. A large red crab with a massive pincer, a living pile of purple sludge, and thirty brown bulls with three tails each were the tensed Pokémon. These were Kingler, Muk, and the Tauros herd. All of which are Ash's Pokémon!

'I feel something bad is happening right now,' Kingler began.

'Me too. Something is going down and we need to be prepared,' Muk commented.

'If it's for our leader, we must be!' A Tauros let out in the herd.

'Yeah! We have been waiting for action since we have been caught!' Another Tauros mooed.

That's when a pink glow appeared in front of them. The Pokémon shielded their eyes to the best of their ability, from the blinding light. The glow eventually died down, revealing a small pink cat.

'Oh good. I didn't mess it!' Mew breathed out.

'... You see Mew here too right?' Muk said. When he got affirmatives from the Pincer and Wild Bull herd, 'Ok. Just checking.'

'Ah! You must be Ash's Pokemon correct?' The mythical Pokémon questioned, which said Pokémon nodded too, still in awe of seeing the Ancestral Pokémon in front of them. 'Good, we need to leave right away!' And this puzzled Ketchum's Pokémon.

'Why do we need to leave?' Kingler questioned.

'Because Ash needs you!' Mew mentally shouted.

This got the gathered Pokémon's attention. Ash in need? They had to help! The Pokémon let out cries of affirmation, ready to help their trainer.

'Great! Now we need make haste!' Mew said and began to teleport the thirty two away from the lab with their Pokeballs.

Just as the shady figure's Claydol warped his master and four associates to the lab.

Indigo Plateau, Pokemon Center

'Ohhhh... my body.'

'Hey, he's coming too!'

'I see his eyes flickering!'

'Bout time.'

'Since when do you care?'

'I never said that I don't care.'

'Your attitude did.'

'Can it turtle or do I have to roast your a-'

'Charizard, language! Not in front of the baby Pokemon!'

Pikachu's eyes began to open and was greeted Bulbasaur and Squirtle at his side. Pulling himself up, he saw Charizard to the side, arms crossed with his current 'don't care' attitude. To the right, Psyduck was 'entertaining' Togepi with his facial expressions, while Pidgeotto was perched next to Mimey, the latter looking down.

'Oh, thank Arceus you are all okay!'

Bulbasaur and Squirtle were puzzled at that statement. 'Uhhh... yeah. I mean we were just tired from Team Rocket's little scheme and Pidgeotto is mostly back to full strength from her flight, so-' Squirtle started.

'Not what I meant. Important thing is where's Ash' Pikachu interrupted.

'Yeah, I have been wondering about that. He looked in a very critical condition. What happened?' Bulbasaur asked.

Pikachu took a deep breath before explaining the situation to his fellow teammates. After that, he got the initial reactions to the betrayal.

'How could do that?!'

'Yeah! What right do they have to say that!?'

'They have no right to kick him when he's down!'

Charizard was surprisingly shocked at first, but dismissed it. 'Grrrr never like them anyway...'

Then all of Ash's official Pokémon turned their direction to Mimey who was obvious ashamed from his previous actions. Bulbasaur grew two vines forming Vine Whip, Squirtle held his breath ready to unleash a Water Gun, and Pidgeotto ready her wings for a Gust, all about to strike the Psychic/Fairy type for his actions towards their trainer. But Pikachu interrupted that by coming to the Barrier Pokemon. 'Guys relax, he's on our side.'

'How can we be sure?' Bulbasaur said, still readying his vines.

'Because Delia was not in control of her actions' Mimey spoke.

This caused the four -Pikachu perked up on that- to tilt their heads in a collective manner.

'Delia was hypnotized. I remember it very briefly. This man approached the house and had a odd Pokemon that seemed to create these alluring lights. Delia's eyes were glossed over and I got return to my Pokeball,' the housekeeper of the Ketchum residence explained. 'Next thing I know, I'm battling Ash alongside Oak and the other two. From what I saw the man had hypnotized Brock and Oak as well. Misty was of her free will.'

Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Pidgeotto were shocked at this. This man had hypnotized Ash's friend and family all to kill him. Why?

'But that red jacket man started battling and he seemed to make Delia and Oak recoil from him. So I took this chance to aid Ash with a Safeguard in order to defend any incoming attacks. Like I was draw to Ash...'

All listeners seemed to understand, that man had saved Ash from Arceus knows what.

The door opened with Nurse Joy and her Chansey. "Oh you are all awake. You can see your trainer now." Pikachu, although still aching, was able to move with the help of Mimey. The others soon followed, Psyduck and Charizard lagging behind, the former having bonked his head several times before successfully leaving and the latter being larger than the rest.

The man was exhausted from using his technique. He nearly fell over from it, but managed to catch himself. Hearing the door open, the man was greeted with Ash's Pokemon, Mimey, Togepi, and Psyduck, who was still clutching his head. The man made way for the Pokemon to see their trainer. Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pidgeotto laid around their trainer, Charizard stood in a corner, Mimey was still cautious, and Togepi was once again being "entertained" by Psyduck. The man took his leave, but briefly glanced at a few of the current Pokemon.

He looked towards Pikachu. Something told him that the starter would become stronger with his bonds with Ash.

The man turned to the sadden Mr. Mime. He knew his actions were not his, but only time could help heal the trust with the boy.

Then the man turned to the Psyduck. He let out a sigh. That water type trainer never truly appreciated the water type. After all, it was really following Ash...

And finally, the man turned to Charizard. Like with Mimey, he knew trust is very important for a Pokemon trainer and that's what he needed. Ash had done some much for him and he turns his cheek at the mere moment when he is called out. But he could not fix them himself. The Charizard is already Ash's strongest at the moment, but lack the respect of Ash as a trainer. Only Ash could try to help him.

With that, the red jacket man took his leave. "He's going need some help, fulfilling his destiny in all and to become the best. That monster won't stop till he's out of the picture. No matter what," he muttered before bring up a Pokegear to call up a friend of his...

Kalos, Lumoise City

RING RING RING*

An groan was heard from a bed in the apartment and a hand reached for the ringing device. The hand eventually grabbed it and pulled it to the ear.

"...Ugh... however's calling better have a good reason..."

"...Red?!"

The person soon jolted awake, revealing a teenager with bed head hair.

"Seriously? Why are you calling me at this time? It's my beauty sleep time! Couldn't you have called Blue or Green? They are both his godparents and in your time zone technically."

"..."

"...So soon?!...Say no more. I'll pack up and meet him. Where did you have in mind?..."

"The Orange Islands? How will he know to go there?... Alright. Class is in session!..."

"...Whatever... Don't worry, I'm not the champion of the distant Ransei* region for no reason... I'm perfect for tutoring him. What does he have?"

"...Got it... Dude, relax..."

The teenager hung up his Pokegear and got up. He had a certain person to meet.

Nearby forest, Kanto

Mew warped Ash's other Pokémon to a nearby forest... the thirty two stumbled a bit, not use to being Teleported themselves since they couldn't use it and lack of Psychic type encounters. 'Sorry about that. I used to warping myself, not others. Tehehe!" Mew giggled.

'Please give us a heads up next time,' Kingler and Muk said before collapsing.

'Now is not the time to rest! We must gather essentials! Who knows if he is in danger?'

No one disagreed with that. The Pokemon slowly made their way to their feet- or pile in Muk's case- and headed on to the nearest town, in search of supplies.

Ash slowly blinked his eyes, wondering where he was. A second later he was met with various nuzzles, Pikachu being the most emotional. The other nuzzles were Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Pidgeotto. Ash let out a small laugh at his Pokémon's affection, at least the affectionate ones. Looking around his room, Ash saw Charizard giving one of his grunt, Psyduck almost "entertaining" Togepi still laughing, and Mimey...

That Pokémon alone looked ashamed of his actions. Ash admitted that he was personally on board with the Barrier Pokemon with him, but if he was here and feeling ashamed perhaps he feels guilty for his actions.

"Hey Mimey..." Ash started.

Mimey perked up, worried about the boy...

"I know you wanted to resist whatever my mom was under and I noticed you hesitated for a minute. So I know you were just following orders. Therefore..."

Ash opened his arms, "I forgive."

Mimey rushed in, joining the nuzzling and being careful of the broken bones.

Ash smiled at this. And noticed Psyduck and Togepi were. And reminded them of her... and them. The betrayal as a whole, all led by that shady man from the looks of it. Ash had never met anyone like that before. But that man, he was insanely powerful. And that Pokémon called Rhyperior seemed to have some sort of ability that drew Pikachu's electric attacks to it. Just who was this man? And why would he want to hurt a boy like him anyway? Ash turned to the window and saw the sun setting, knowing it was dusk now. He decided to wait for tomorrow and possibly leave. But to where? He wouldn't know.

*For those who don't know, the Ransei region is from Pokémon Conquest.
