Sooooo...yeah, I've been gone for...a while (Good god, has it really been almost seven years since I last updated this?) To start off, I just want to say that I am so honored and grateful that so many people have read all of my fics and still support me after all these years. Even if I haven't updated, I sill would get emails with your reviews and just knowing that there were people out there that enjoyed my work would always make my day.

That being said, these last several years have been chaotic to say the least. Between school and adjusting to adult life as well as dealing with severe anxiety and depression has been difficult. I never stopped writing but for a while I just didn't have the energy to even do that. I think there was a year where I went like three months without writing a paragraph for anything that wasn't school work because I just couldn't.Not to get into too much detail, in highschool, writing sometimes was the only that kept me...here. But in college, with the chaotic schedules and trying to learn to be an adult, I wasn't able to do that and there were times that I didn't want to go on. I got help and was put on medication, managed to get a degree, got married, and finally have a stable job. There's been A LOT of struggling and I'm still trying to get better, but I also know this is something that I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. But I have finally regained some of my passion for writing.

I'm not saying this to make anyone feel bad or anything. I'm saying it because I've found that for me, talking about it after trying for most of my life to ignore and bury all my problems is helpful. That and the fandoms here on this site and many other have truly helped me and I feel like I owe an apology and an explanation to you all for my long absence.

I can't promise that I won't disappear again but please don't think that I will ever stop writing. As for my older stories, I'm going to officially put them on hiatus (if not just mark them as incomplete) but I do hope to one day finish them. Just when those days will be is anyone's guess. For any story that I am going to be posting from here on out, please know that I do not start posting them until they are at least 75% complete.

Why I love writing and reading fanfiction:

Fanfiction, and in extention fandoms in general, has done so much for me. It gave me an outlet for all of my creativity when I was younger and was unable to express them verbally or with drawing. In my darkest days, it gave me to cling to. And when I saw that other people out there enjoyed my work and that it was something that could make them happy, I was so proud and would spend hours staring at the reviews with a goofy giddy grin on my face. It brought me friends that have been there when I needed them most.

But most importantly, it brought me my husband. My husband and I both wrote fanfiction for Pokemon. This was before I had joined fanfiction and I had just started to write my own. That's when I found one of his fics. It was a Pokeshipping story and, at the time (cause I was stupidly young and neither of us had really gotten the hang of this whole writing thing), it had been one of the cutest and sweetest fics that I had read up to that point. It left an impression with me and I decided to review it, which I was really bad aout it. Honestly, that was twelve years ago and I can't remember exactly what I wrote. All I know is that soon he and I were emailing back and forth until we had formed a friendship and then a relationship. We just celebrated our tenth anniversary and got married almost two years ago.

So I will continue to write for long as I can.
