I finally decided to write something here after a while.

I can never decide what to put on profiles like this however, so I'm just going to interview myself.

Why did you decide to write fanfiction?

Why not?

But, is there any specific reason you write fanfiction?

Why do you write about TMNT?

Why not?

Is that your answer to everything?

No. Sometimes I answer with "I couldn't think of anything better to do."

Do you like sandwiches?

Does that actually have anything to do with anything?

No. Have you considered writing fanfiction about anything besides TMNT?

I probably will at some point. But TMNT leaves so much open to consideration. Because it's, well, a kids show (all my fanfics are based around the 2003 series, so that's what I'm talking about, even though I have nothing against the older series) -- I'm sorry, what was I talking about?

You were saying that TMNT leaves so much open to consideration.

Yeah. Because it's a kids show -- it's a very good kids show -- they don't always develop all of the characters to their fullest potential. I think Mikey and Don are the biggest characters that never really get developed. Hun is also pretty undevelopped. Even the Shredder doesn't get very developed, but I'm not going to give away my thoughts on that because it would give away the ending of Revolution. I mean, I'm not big on adding swears and sexual stuff into TMNT because it's uncovered territory with TMNT because I mean, your basically making these characters swear because they never did it on the show, but I think there's a lot of room to explore the "uncharted waters" that come when you're dealing with a kids show.

Do you write any non-fanfiction stuff?

Yeah, all the time. Look, for me, fanfiction is just another kind of fiction, it's what happens when you're creative and you read a book or watch a movie --

-- or a cartoon

-- or a cartoon, and you say to yourself, "say, what if this happened?" you know what I mean?

Who is your favorite turtle?

You couldn't resist, could you?

Nope.

Well, I always felt a little sorry for Mikey. I mean, the guy's actually pretty smart (if you watch the series he comes up with more than a few plans), but he never gets credit for it because he's seen as the dumb one and that's that. But my favorite character overall is Raph. First of all, I love the Brooklyn accent. Second of all, he's such a strong character -- and by that I mean he's so well developed. I sometimes think he has a better idea of what's good for the team than Leo. He certainly cares more about the team. Don't get me wrong, I like Leo, but he's my least favorite, because -- well for the same reason that anyone who doesn't like Leo doesn't like Leo.

You mean he gets on your nerves?

Pretty much (laughs).

Who is your favorite bad guy?

That one's easier. Bishop. He's the one bad guy that you can actually think about his character and really ask yourself, "where did he go wrong", you know what I'm saying? Like with Karai, you can kind of see, she was stuck between her father and her own honor, and, don't get me wrong, she's a great character too, but the thing that makes Bishop special, is that he seemingly started from a reasonable place (wanting revenge against the aliens that abducted him and tortured him, and wanting to protect the earth from that same thing ever happenning again) but he just went completley and utterly crazy. And that makes him an even more interesting character than Karai.

Why are you using him the way you are in Shadow then? I mean, the guy's basically Fang and Khan's b*tch.

Yeah, well, I had to get him into the story somehow. And I wanted a situation where you could sympathize with Bishop a little, although not too much. I mean, the guy just wants to get back to his work, and he sees his work as protecting the Earth. Plot-wise, he makes things interesting at the end. But I won't say anything more about that.

Do you expect anyone to read this interview?

Not at all. But it would be cool to know that somebody's interested in my writings here.
