Seth arrived to Atlantis and was met with tons of glares, mostly notable his family. He swam to his father's chamber, where he was being scolded for his absence.

"I just don't know what we are going to do with you," Poseidon lectured to his only son. "Dad, I'm sorry," Seth apologized, "I just forgot." He was lucky he was just getting another scolding. His two friends watched in the back, staying out of their family affairs. Poseidon had high hopes for his son, but he always seemed to find some way to cause some distrust.

"As a result of your careless behavior," his father began before Josh interrupted, "CARELESS AND RECKLESS BEHAVIOR!" The crustacean was more furious than the sea king. "Well, yes, the concert was-" Poseidon said before getting interrupted again, "RUINED! This concert was supposed to be the pinnacle of my distinguished career," Josh said dreamily before swimming and pointing his pincer at the accused, "And now thanks to you with your irresponsibility and stupidly, I'm the laughing stock of the entire kingdom!"

Seth rolled his eyes. Figures how the crustacean makes it seem so humiliating. Seth was trying his best.

"But it wasn't Seth's fault!" Breanna defended and swam over before catching herself, "uh, your Majesty."

"Yeah!" Haven chided in, "your Majesty, if I may. You see we were discovering a new shipwreck. Being the adventurous of the trio, Seth and I swam in first as Breanna lagged behind." "Um, you stayed behind," Breanna and Seth deadpanned. "Irreverent," Haven dismissed, "then there was a great white shark, out for blood! But we escaped as you can tell. Then Marcus was going on about human stuff and we lose track of t-"

"Marcus?! Humans?!" Poseidon picked up on. Haven gulped at the tone and flinched at the looks she was given by her two friends. She shrunk down behind Seth hoping to make herself smaller.

"You went up to the surface again, didn't you!?" The sea king spoke with anger in his tone. Seth winced but tried to calm his father down, "Nothing happened."

His father pinched the bridge of his nose before groaning, "Seth, how many times must we go over this? You could have been seen by one of those barbarians. One of those... humans!" "Dad, they are not barbarians!" Seth defended. He had heard this speech far too much at this point. "Not all humans are awful as you believe!"

"They are dangerous!" Poseidon sharply said, "This human fasciation of yours will get you killed one day! Do you think I want to see my youngest child speared?!"

"I'm eighteen years old!" Seth retorted, "I'm not a child anymore!" "Don't take that tone with me, young man!" Poseidon threatened, "As long as you live under my ocean, you will obey my rules!"

"But dad if you wou-" Seth started but was interrupted, "NOT ANOTHER WORD! AND I AM TO NEVER HERE OF YOU VISITING THE SURFACE WORLD AGAIN!" Poseidon roared that caused Breanna and Haven to flinch at the tone. Seth felt tears coming to his eyes and swam away, clearly upset at his father, his two friends swam after him shortly.

After his outburst, the sea king slumped to his throne. He had always wondered what drove Seth to visit the world that would kill him. He doesn't want to risk his only son die at the hands of what he loved. Why couldn't he just see that?

"Hmph, teenagers," Josh said, "they think they know everything. Give them an inch and they swim all over you." Josh seemed unfazed at the family spout he just witnessed as he sided with the king.

"Was I," Poseidon started, "too harsh on him?" "Oh, nonsense, sire," Josh admitted, "you are the king! Your word is the law! Why if I was in your position, I would make sure to keep a close eye on him. None of this 'surface' or 'human' obsession nonsense."

Poseidon thought about that idea and agreed with it. If someone was always watching Seth, he would not be so fascinated with the human world.

"You are right, Josh," the sea king replied.

"Of course I'm right," Josh said proudly. The crustacean gushed as the sea king praised him.

"Someone needs to watch him."

"Watch him," the crab repeated.

"Constant supervision."

"Constant."

"And you're just the crab to do it!" Poseidon finished.

"...Come again?" Josh stuttered.

Josh scurried out of the throne room, obviously not glad he is now Seth's 'babysitter.' He is a composer, not a caretaker. He had much better things to do then watch the prince. "Oh, how do I get myself into these situations?" The crustacean muttered and continued his rant until he saw the prince and his friends, Haven had a pouch in her hand before giving it to Seth. The trio looked around before swimming off.

"Oh, where are they off to now?" Josh questioned before swimming after them. The trio swam faster than the invertebrate, gaining more sea. They eventually stopped at a underwater cliff, where Josh caught his breath. Seth and Haven pulled a boulder out of the way, revealing a grotto entrance. Breanna swam in first before the two mermfolk swam in after her. Josh scurried afterwards hastily before the boulder ended up blocking his entrance.

The crustacean made his way in before jaw dropping at the sight before him.

Around the grotto were hundreds, if not thousands, of human objects placed all round the place. In the center, a dejected Seth played with his most recent addition to his collection.

"Seth, are you okay?" Haven asked, her voice being sincere.

"I'm fine, Haven," Seth dismissed but his tone was clearly the opposite of that statement.

"Seth, you are clearly not fine," Breanna insisted to which Seth just groaned and lied on his back, staring at the hole above.

"*sigh* It's just I wish I could make my dad understand," Seth started, "I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad?"

"Look at this stuff,

Isn't it neat?

Wouldn't you think my collections complete?

Wouldn't you think I'm the boy,

The boy who has everything?

Look at this trove

Treasures untold

How many wonders can one cavern hold?

Looking around, here you think,

Sure. He's got everything,

I've got gadgets and gizmos a plenty

I'm got whooz-its and whats-its galore

You want thing-a-mabobs? I've got twenty

But who cares? No big deal. I want more!

I wanna be where the people are

I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'

Walkin' around on those...

What do you call 'em? Oh, feet. *giggle*

Flippin' your fins you don't get too far

Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'

Strolling along down the...

What's that word again? Street...

Up where they walk

Up where they run

Up where they stay all day in the sun

Wanderin' free,

wish I could be

part of that world.

What would I give

if I could live

outta these waters?

What would I pay

to spend a day

warm on the sand?

Betcha on land

they understand

Bet they don't reprimand their own sons

Bright young men,

sick of swimmin',

ready to stand!

And I'm ready to know what the people know

Ask 'em my questions and get some answers

What's a fire and why does it...

What's the word? Burn?

When's it my turn?

Wouldn't I love,

love to explore that shore up above?

Out of the sea,

wish I could be

part of that world."

Such a chance it would be. To breathe air, walk, experience what humans can do. Seth let out a sigh, he doubts that would ever happen to a merman like him.

CRASH!

The sudden noise got the attention of the trio, Haven hid behind a sunken knight helmet as Breanna clicked, wondering who was there...

Josh, who was covered in various tiny human stuff. "Josh!" Seth cried.

"Seth," the crustacean said in a surprisingly calm voice, "what is all this?"

"It's myyyyyy," Seth let out, "collection."

"Ohhh, I see, your collection," Josh repeated before going into a rant, "IF YOU'RE FATHER FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS, HE'D-" before Breanna cut him off, "You're not going to tell him are you?"

"Please, please, please," Seth pleaded, "You know better than anyone else in Atlantis that my father would flip the tide if you told him."

Josh reluctantly calmed down before coming to a solution, "Alright, I won't tell. But perhaps you need to get out of here, visit the sea gardens," the crustacean began to go on and on about places Seth could go to rid himself of the human nonsense. Josh lead Seth and his friends out when a shadow appeared above them.

"Hmmmm, what do you suppose..." Seth said as he trailed off at the thought of the shadow. No doubt it was a boat. Seth took off leaving his friends behind, wanting to know more about the shadow.

"Hm? Seth? Seth?!" Josh called out but his calls were ignored. Josh groaned before swimming after him, Haven and Breanna shortly afterwards.
