Transformers Dark Of The Moon: Cuervosplicer's Birthright.
Chapter 1: Installing The Virus.
(Author's notes: In this story, the events of the Dark Of The Moon console game are taking place before the events of the film, but every one of the Autobots sans some of the generic troops still live and Cuervosplicer continues to use his foreknowledge in the Autobots' favor to win the Great War.
Enjoy chapter 1.)
(Outer space in front of Earth, Optimus Prime's narrating POV...)
Three Earth years have passed since we last saw the Decepticons after Cuervosplicer and I killed the true Decepticon leader. Megatronus, the Fallen Prime.
Despite our best efforts and despite the death of The Fallen, Megatron and his army have evaded us.
Some of our human allies used to believe that the Decepticons fled the Earth defeated.
I wished that were true.
However, Cuervosplicer's foreknowledge is not something to naysay about or to ignore.
Cuervosplicer and I know the Decepticons remain here on Earth. Hiding. Watching. And waiting for the right moment to strike and continue our four million year old civil war.
Of course, Cuervosplicer also informed me of the Autobots who will die in the battles for the MechTech, in the battle at Megatron's Siberian base, and in the Battle for Chicago. Silverbolt, Air Raid, Fireflight, Skydive, Airazor, Slingshot, Firestorm, Breakaway, Stratosphere, Warpath, Que, and Wheeljack.
Thankfully, Cuervosplicer revealed that those deaths can be avoided at the cost of some of our own generic foot soldiers.
I only hope that Cuervosplicer's foreknowledge will help us end the war, especially now that my mentor Sentinel Prime is among us.
(Real de Catorce, Mexico, third person POV...)
The largest Aerialbot in the Autobot army, Stratosphere, was flying overhead from the ghost town with Bumblebee in the cargo hold.
Once Stratosphere was over the drop off point, he opened his deploying ramp and Bumblebee drove out of the cargo hold with his newly-acquired speed boost activated.
Bumblebee soared through the air as he switched to robot mode.
He landed without taking damage and without leaving so much as a crack in the ground.
Optimus contacts Bumblebee and says, "Bumblebee, we suspect the Decepticons have been monitoring our communications with NEST, even without Soundwave hacking into the United States Space Station. Wheeljack and Que discovered several transmissions beamed to a Soviet relay facility in this area."
Bumblebee asks, "Well, what's the location of the transmissions?"
Optimus answers, "We were unable to pinpoint the coordinates for the location. I want you to investigate the relay facility north of the village. Sideswipe and I will land and look over the neighboring towns."
Bumblebee replies back, "Consider it done."
Once Bumblebee made it to a small entrance small enough for him to fit in vehicle mode and Stealth Force mode, he got contacted again, by Cuervosplicer this time.
Cuervosplicer said, "Autobots, make sure that your Stealth Force modes are functioning properly. Stealth Force mode allows you to move nimbly in any direction. Oh, not only that, but also your weapons are more powerful. And the armor in your Stealth Force mode and your vehicle mode offers extra protection."
Once Bumblebee made it to the end of the town, Optimus says over the commlink, "Remember, Autobots, your vehicle mode is the fastest way to travel."
Once Bumblebee starts driving, Sideswipe contacts Optimus and says, "Optimus, this is Sideswipe. I'm detecting no human activity in this town."
Optimus replies, "According to Major Reynolds, the Soviets abandoned these villages at the end of the Cold War. Keep your guard up; each of them would serve as a perfect Decepticon hideout."
Sideswipe then asks, "What do we do when we find the Decepticon transmitter?"
Optimus answers, "Upload Wheeljack's virus. It will override the transmission code so that we can monitor the Decepticons."
About a minute and a half later, Optimus contacts Bumblebee and says, "Bumblebee, our scans are showing several bogeys moving toward the satellite base at high speeds. They could be Decepticons. You need to reach the base before they do."
Bumblebee replies, "Understood."
However, Optimus adds, "Be careful, Bumblebee. Your readings indicate the facility is still active."
About half a minute later, Bumblebee asks, "Is that what I think it is?"
Optimus confirms, "That's a Decepticon signal! Find an access point and get inside the relay facility."
Then, Bumblebee manages to beat the clock and he gets inside the relay facility.
Bumblebee switches to robot mode as Optimus states, "Our scans aren't indicating any enemy movement. Plant the virus, but be careful!"
Bumblebee finds the Decepticon transmitter and installs the virus.
Optimus remarks, "Good. Now leave before they find you."
Bumblebee leaves the building, only to encounter some Combaticon Scouts.
One of the Combaticon Scouts shouts, "An Autobot! Destroy him!"
One of the Scouts transforms and speeds away.
Optimus says, "A Decepticon is escaping!"
Despite being slightly outnumbered, Bumblebee managed to destroy the Combaticon Scouts.
Soon, Sideswipe contacts Bumblebee and says, "Bumblebee, this is Sideswipe. I'm running down the 'Con who bolted on you, but my sensors are picking up several others coming your way!"
Optimus points out, "Autobots, we can't let any Decepticons get away! If even one escapes, Megatron will learn of the virus!"
Sideswipe replies, "Then I guess we'll just have to shoot them all!"
Bumblebee states in response, "Understood."
Bumblebee jumps over the security wall and punches a Combaticon Scout so hard that he immediately dies.
Bumblebee switches back to vehicle mode and drives back where he came from.
Along the way, Bumblebee encounters multiple Combaticon Scouts.
During a battle with a Combaticon Scout squadron, Sideswipe says over the commlink, "Bumblebee, use your target lock-on in Stealth Force mode. It's perfect for fighting in open spaces."
Soon, Bumblebee made it to the half point leading back to the abandoned village.
Optimus states over the commlink, "Bumblebee, use your Orbital Recon Beacon Radar to lock onto enemy targets."
Bumblebee switches back to robot mode and uses his Orbital Beacon ability to find a squad of sixteen Combaticon Scouts coming his way.
As Bumblebee fights his way through the Combaticon Scouts, Sideswipe says over the commlink, "According to my sensors, it looks like a hologram showing me that the Decepticons are assembling something in the nearby village."
Optimus replies, "It's a long-range transmitter. They'll use it to contact Megatron! Take it out!"
Bumblebee replies, "Yes sir!"
Bumblebee makes it back to the village and finds one part of the long-range transmitter.
Bumblebee uses a virus to make the transmitter component self-destruct.
After neutralizing the Combaticon Scouts who came out of nowhere, Optimus calls Bumblebee over the commlink and says, "Bumblebee, I'm picking up three more transmitters! Sideswipe and I won't be able to get there in time! You must destroy them!"
Bumblebee replies, "Understood, Optimus."
Bumblebee destroys two Combaticon Scouts with a spinning quadruple kick and destroys the second transmitter.
Optimus states, "Two more to go, Bumblebee!"
After neutralizing two more Combaticon Scouts while taking heavy damage from gunfire and a grenade, Optimus states over the commlink, "Bumblebee, if you take heavy damage, seek cover until you fully repair yourself."
After Bumblebee's repairs finish, he destroys the third transmitter.
Optimus calls out, "Just one more to go, Bumblebee!"
Bumblebee destroys the two Combaticon Scouts guarding the final transmitter and destroys it.
However, a small enough army of Combaticon Scouts outnumbers Bumblebee with gunfire and one of them taunts him with, "You can't hold out forever, Autobot! You're all alone!"
After destroying three Combaticon Scouts in Stealth Force mode, Optimus and Sideswipe turn up and Optimus says, "An Autobot is never alone!"
Optimus and Sideswipe jump down from their perch and help Bumblebee destroy the Combaticon Scouts while Cuervosplicer's son, Shockpounder, salvaged all of the corpses to clone for additional metal and for his father to reprogram before reviving them.
As he runs to a rooftop, Optimus calls out, "Bumblebee, this way! Let's move to higher ground!"
Bumblebee and Shockpounder follow Optimus and Sideswipe to higher ground.
As an army of Combaticon Scouts arrive, Sideswipe points out, "Looks like they gave up telling on us and just want to finish us off so that they can tell on us afterwards!"
Optimus replies, "They are welcome to try all they like. It won't do them any good."
After a minute or two of destroying the Combaticon Scouts, Optimus calls out, "Look out, Bumblebee!"
Bumblebee looks up to see Combaticon Snipers arriving on the scene in their helicopter modes.
The Combaticon Snipers come in close to the ground, only for Bumblebee's Stealth Force Rocket Launchers to shoot them down.
Optimus calls out, "Choppers incoming!"
Bumblebee shoots down the next batch of Combaticon Snipers.
Optimus calls out again, "More choppers!"
Bumblebee shoots down the batch of Combaticon Snipers that turned out to be the last Combaticon drones to show up.
Shockpounder, Bumblebee and Sideswipe gather around as Optimus states, "Good work, Autobots! With the virus uploaded into their communications network and modified to be one hundred percent untraceable to the likes of even Soundwave, we've finally turned the tables on the Decepticons."
Shockpounder calls his father on a secure Autobot communications link and says, "Sire, our mission was a flawless success."
Cuervosplicer asks in response, "Were there any complications?"
Shockpounder replies, "We ran into a big enough army of Combaticon Scouts and Combaticon Snipers who nearly snitched on us, but we took care of it as quickly as possible."
Cuervosplicer states, "Excellent, my dear son. Bring me the corpses and make sure you don't damage them any more than they already are."
Shockpounder uttered a "Yes sire" in response.
Soon, at the base, Cuervosplicer immediately went to work on cloning the corpses to cannibalize the metal for other purposes and to create Combaticon Scouts and Combaticon Snipers to reprogram into Combatobot Scouts and Combatobot Snipers before he brings them online.
At the same time, Cuervosplicer also did the same thing to several generic Decepticon soldiers. Cuervosplicer described them as Seeker Scouts, Seeker Snipers, Seeker Warriors, Constructicon Scouts, Constructicon Warriors, Decepticon Captains, Decepticon Melee Warriors, Decepticon Ranged Warriors, Decepticon Sergeants, Decepticon Protoform soldiers, and even Tyran cluster versions of every type of Vehicon Trooper from the Transformers Prime cartoon, the Transformers Prime video game, and the Robots In Disguise 2015 cartoon.
Soon, it was all systems go for whatever is next to come.
The End.
