In the Decepticon Siberian base, Megatron contacts Starscream and calls out, "Starscream!"
Starscream replies, "Yes, Lord Megatron, I read you loud and clear!"
Megatron replies back, "Good. Now listen up. Soundwave destroyed most of the MechTech weaponry found in Wheeljack's testing lab, but what remains is now in transit to the fleshling armies in the Middle East. We cannot allow these insects to be armed with such technology!"
Starscream states in reply, "Acknowledged! I'm in pursuit now!"
Megatron finishes, "Vaporize that convoy! No trace of the MechTech can remain!"
Starscream replies, "I will not fail you, Lord Megatron!"
(Nepal N.E.S.T base...)
Starscream muses, "According to Soundwave's upload, Stratosphere should be flying out from a N.E.S.T facility hidden in these mountains."
Starscream fails to notice Cuervosplicer and the actual Aerialbots leaving in a portal with the actual MechTech prototypes.
Suddenly, laser traps are triggered by Starscream's presence as he cries out, "What?! A trap! Noooooo!"
Starscream is electrocuted and he crashes onto the base flight deck in robot mode.
A N.E.S.T P.A. announces, "Decepticons detected! Warning! Decepticons detected!"
As multiple Autobot Soldiers come running, Starscream shoots at multiple ammo crates as he remarks, "No matter! I will destroy them all!"
As Starscream shoots at the Autobot troops with his Scrapmaker activated, a voice similar to Air Raid's voice asks, "Who is it?"
A different voice replies, "Neutrostorm, its Starscream! Don't worry, we got this! Pin him down!"
As Starscream activates his Omni Rocket Barrage ability, the Decepticon Air Commander sneers, "You're no match for Starscream!"
The majority of the Autobots go offline after being hit by a rocket or two.
After killing the last Autobot Soldier, Starscream calls out, "Surrender the MechTech, Autobots!"
Neutrostorm replies, "That'll be the day! Call in reinforcements!"
An Omnibot Warrior struts onto the scene with a minigun and snarls, "Eat lead, Decepticon!"
Starscream manages to kill the Autobot soldier due to his Omni Rocket Barrage ability providing excellent damage results, and his Rocket Hovering ability gives his Scrapmaker and Rocket Launcher extra damage.
Soon, the Omnibot Warrior went down after a few damage-amplified rockets.
Soon, a squadron of Protectobot Scouts arrives on the scene as a voice calls out, "Neutrostorm, air support is inbound! Low approach."
Despite the Protectobots' best efforts, they were shot down by the high ranking Decepticon lieutenant.
Soon, the Aerialbot known as Neutrostorm – an Autobot Aerialbot looking like a combination of the DOTM Seeker Air Raid and the chronological video game Air Raid in the paint jobs from Acid Storm, Ion Storm, Nova Storm and Nosecone – emerges from out of nowhere.
Starscream notices the Aerialbot and shouts, "Neutrostorm? I was expecting Air Raid! Either way, your forces are crushed! Come out and face me!"
As Starscream opens fire with all of his weapons at his disposal, Neutrostorm replies in a bit of pain, "You're too late, Starscream! Flighttron is ready to leave with the MechTech! You really want what's left, you're gonna have to catch me first!"
Neutrostorm lets out a shockwave that knocks Starscream to his knees as the Aerialbot switches to his jet mode and flies off at high speeds.
Neutrostorm says over the commlink, "I'm gonna make sure that the MechTech shipment gets to safety!"
Neutrostorm then taunts Starscream as he says, "Follow me, Starscream, and I'll bury you in these mountains!"
Starscream replies coolly, "Lead the way."
Starscream transforms to his jet mode and flies off at high speeds while avoiding the various booby traps littered all across the snowy mountains.
As Starscream comes across an ambush, Neutrostorm flees as he remarks, "End of the line, Starscream! You're trapped!"
Despite the sentry guns doing significant amounts of damage, the Decepticon Air Commander manages to disable the sentry guns.
Neutrostorm comms Flighttron and says, "Flighttron, this is Neutrostorm! Fire up your engines; we've got company!"
Starscream sneers, "Where are your taunts now, Neutrostorm?"
Starscream continues following the fleeing Aerialbot through the mountains at a high rate of vehicular speed.
Eventually coming to a heavily armed flight deck platform, the cargo door of an Autobot cargo plane resembling Stratosphere in different colors opens to let Neutrostorm climb aboard just as the plane prepares for take off.
The plane identified as Flighttron asks, "Is that a friend of yours, Neutrostorm?"
Neutrostorm replies, "Fiend is more like it. That's Starscream! Light up your afterburners!"
Flighttron takes off from the platform as he announces, "Liftoff!"
Flighttron starts to fly at a high amount of speed the equivalent of Starscream's speed and says over the commlink, "Optimus, this is Flighttron. I have the MechTech prototypes and I'm en route to base."
After a minute or two of being pursued by the Decepticon Air Commander, Flighttron comms Autobot Headquarters and says, "Command, this is Flighttron. Starscream is closing in on my six!"
Starscream calls out, "Surrender the MechTech, Flighttron!"
Flighttron replies, "You know I won't do that, Starscream!"
Starscream replies back, "Then die!"
Optimus Prime calls Flighttron over the commlink and says, "Flighttron, this is Optimus! We cannot allow Starscream to obtain that MechTech weaponry! Take evasive maneuvers! Fighter escorts, Aerialbot Scouts, Aerialbot Warriors, Autobot Ranged Warriors, Autobot Captains, Autobot Sky Fighters, you are cleared to engage!"
As Flighttron disappears into the clouds below to hide, the large Aerialbot remarks, "Light him up, boys and girls!"
Despite being severely outnumbered, Starscream's excellence in flying and dodging missiles and laser fire enabled him to score multiple direct hits.
Everyone else started to get annoyed at Starscream's remarks of "Pathetic" and "Don't waste my time with amateurs" to the point where Starscream had to double his dodging.
After taking out the initial deployment of flying Autobots, Starscream notices Flighttron reappearing and calls out, "Your escorts were no match for me!"
Flighttron retorts, "I'm just getting warmed up!"
Flighttron deploys his tertiary anti-aircraft gun and opens fire on Starscream while sneering, "Chew on these, Starscream."
Starscream asks, "You wish to shoot me down with THAT old gun? I will find a way to deal with your turrets!"
Starscream fires on the gun with enough missiles and the gun blows up, causing Flighttron to experience some pain.
Flighttron states in pain, "Hhhrrrgghhh! He got a fuel line! Buy me some time!"
Starscream lands on the middle of Flighttron's vehicle mode and rips out a panel to reveal several moving gears and pistons.
Starscream states mockingly, "Tell me if this hurts, Flighttron!"
Starscream rips out the gears and pistons, causing Flighttron to initiate a barrel roll while trying to maintain altitude. Starscream gets thrown off, causing him to fly closer using his rocket backpack.
Flighttron remarks, "Argggh! Get off of me! My servos are jammed! I'm a sitting duck until I can reroute controls! Keep him off my wings!"
Starscream shoots the Autobot Soldiers on Flighttron's wings and lands on his left wing.
Starscream stands in front of the panel on the wing and continuously fires missiles into the panel to destroy the gears and pistons inside.
Flighttron shakes Starscream off, causing the Air Commander to switch back to jet mode.
Flighttron says in pain, "Hhhrrrgghhh! You're not getting this cargo, Starscream!"
Starscream states dramatically, "Oh my! Such conviction! How will I ever defeat you?"
Brushcrusher says while the door opens, "Aerialbots are locked and loaded! We'll handle this, Flighttron!"
Flighttron replies, "Good hunting, boys. But save some for me, would you?"
The eighty-four Autobot Fliers – Brushwise, Neutrostorm, Dunebrawn, Brushcrusher, Brakewing, Wreckpounder, Astroburst, Shocksight, Leadguard, Speedbite, Vicerake, Twinray, Dropburner, Roughshot, Phasepunch, Avianframe, Twinblade, Fangblades, Windwing, Lazercut, Phasepoint, Boneguard, Savagesnarl, Afterlift, Halfshift, Tigercycle, Heliquake, Joltstrike, Magmastop, Rapidshift, Doomstrong, Roughclash, Wing Hauler, Needle Cloud, Tigakill, Cannonfist, Strikelane, Airjaw, Strikeburst, Pyromaster, Rotordagger, Thunderthrust, Blowsweep, Backwise, Flameways, Dreadkick, Highdive, Tigerray, Ratblitz, Aerowave, Rollsiren, Solarbeam, Powerhorn, Topcrack, Flyburner, Strikedealer, Divevortex, Flameway, Afterwheels, Windvortex, Hammerpounder, Iceflash, Lightbang, Leadcharge, Flightbird, Solarsweep, Depthback, Soundburn, Jawpunch, Aviandive, Rhinoblade, Phasetracks, Speedbite, Scorchrazor, Doublecloud, Dropdealer, Rhiwar, Ironscraps, Rumblepounder, Bodybuster, Afterstream, Gloomguard, Rumblestrong, and Landbang – all transform to their jet modes and barrage Starscream with missiles and laser fire laced with Cybertronian metal bullets.
However, Starscream got through them and shot them all down, one Aerialbot looking like someone else at a time.
After shooting down the last Aerialbot, who happened to be Neutrostorm, Starscream says this backhanded comment, "You're fast, Neutrostorm. Just not fast enough."
Flighttron angrily says, "Let's take this to the next level! Stealth Force mode – engage!"
Flighttron's Stealth Force mode – which was a combination of Stratosphere's Stealth Force mode and Optimus Prime's Stealth Force mode in terms of additional guns going to the back – activated itself as Starscream remarks, "Ooh, my transistors are trembling!"
Flighttron retorts, "Starscream, it's just you, me and the whupping I'm about to give you!"
Starscream sneers in reply, "I'm not impressed. On the other hand, I've got a few surprises of my own!"
Starscream activates his Guided Missile ability in jet mode and fires a guided missile at one of Flighttron's engines, scoring a direct hit in the process.
Starscream exclaims, "Direct hit!"
Flighttron grunts in pain as he says, "Urrgghh. Fortunate shot, but it's far from over."
Starscream fires another Guided Missile and shoots another engine.
Flighttron cries out, "I'm hit!"
Starscream fires a third Guided Missile at another engine, causing it to leak Energon.
Starscream remarks snobbishly, "Ooh, that looked like it did some damage."
Starscream fires a fourth Guided Missile at the first engine, causing it to fall apart in rapid succession.
Flighttron calls out over the commlink, "Flighttron to base! I lost an engine, and I can't maintain altitude!"
Starscream comments backhandedly again, "I'm amazed that you can still fly after THAT one!"
Starscream fires a fifth and final Guided Missile at the second engine, causing Flighttron to burst into flames as his weapons are blown up and his engines fail, causing him to start going down.
Flighttron calls out on the commlink panickedly, "Optimus, my engines are on fire! I'm losing altitude! I'm going down!"
Optimus replies grimly, "We're on our way, Flighttron! Keep the MechTech from Starscream at all costs!"
As Starscream lands on top of Flighttron, he remarks, "You can't escape Starscream!"
Starscream makes his way inside Flighttron's cargo hold as Flighttron sneers one last time, "You'll regret this, Starscream!"
Starscream makes his way to where the "MechTech" was supposed to be and takes out two boom sticks.
Starscream remarks, "One boom stick for me, and one for you!"
Starscream detonates one of the boom sticks while taking the other one with him as he flies away in jet mode.
As Flighttron is left to his fate, Starscream calls Megatron over the commlink and says boastfully, "Lord Megatron, this is Starscream! Mission is a success! I'm returning to base!"
Starscream flies towards the Decepticon Siberian base, never suspecting three things: the first is Cuervosplicer reviving and repairing every one of the Autobots Starscream killed, including the substitute Aerialbots. The second is the MechTech weaponry being cloned to throw Megatron off his trail. And the third thing Starscream never noticed is that even the cloned MechTech has tracking devices placed in them.
Even now, Starscream is unknowingly leading the Autobots to Megatron's location so that Cuervosplicer and Optimus Prime can have another shot at Megatron.
Cuervosplicer calls Optimus and says, "Optimus! Phase 2 of my plan finally worked!"
Optimus replies, "Excellent work, Cuervosplicer. Prepare to mobilize for the assault on the Decepticon base."
Cuervosplicer hangs up and laughs maniacally as he remarks, "Soon, Megatron won't ever know what hit him!"
The End.
(Author's notes: There you have it, folks. The fifth chapter of this story is finally finished.
Also, in the next chapter, after Megatron's fight with Clone Warpath, Saber Pax will show up for a monologue.
At the same time, in the eighth chapter of this story, like I said before, Dylan Gould's fate will be fully revealed. BUT it won't be a pretty picture.
See you all in chapter 6: Megatron vs. Optimus Prime and Cuervosplicer.)
