In the three years since the death of The Fallen Prime, the war between Autobots and Decepticons gets closer to ending. And with Harold Attinger and his Cemetery Wind organization dismantled, along with Sentinel Prime still an Autobot, Cuervosplicer is getting closer to finishing his duty as Guardian of the Allspark Cube. 6. Megatron vs Optimus Prime

Chapter 6: Megatron vs. Optimus Prime and Cuervosplicer.

(Author's notes: This is it; the next-to-last chapter of the video game portion of this fanfiction. Enjoy it.)

(Flashback: Before Starscream returned to Siberia...)

Starscream studied the boom stick meticulously and realized that the boom sticks, just like the other pieces of MechTech weaponry, had tracking devices on them.

So, Starscream crushed the boom stick in his clawed servos.

Starscream failed to notice in the backwards distance Cuervosplicer scowling as he realizes that he will have to have his away team follow Starscream to Decepticon Headquarters the old-fashioned way.

So, that's what he did: he had his away team – the Aerialbots, Warpath's clone and Optimus Prime included – follow Starscream the old-fashioned way while avoiding detection.

(Decepticon Siberian Base, present day, third person POV...)

Soundwave says to his lord and master on the monitor, "Megatron, final preparations have begun for Shockwave's cryo-thaw."

Megatron replies, "Excellent, Soundwave. Though I am concerned about the loyalty of our allies in the human space program of the nineteen sixties and the nineteen seventies. Keep a close optic receptor on them. Report all movements and activities for each and every single one of them."

Soundwave replies back emotionlessly, "Yes, Lord Megatron."

Then, Starscream comes up on the screen as he says excitedly, "Lord Megatron, I have returned victorious!"

Megatron asks skeptically, "So, you actually managed to destroy the MechTech shipment?"

Starscream replies, "Oh yes! And I used my processor for once to analyze the MechTech!"

Megatron inquires, "And what did you find out from your analysis?"

Starscream enters the command center as he transforms to robot mode.

Starscream explains, "I found out that the Autobots had implemented tracking systems in their MechTech. If I had brought even one piece of the MechTech weaponry with me, I would've lead the Autobots straight to you! So, I made sure that no trace of it was left."

Megatron replies, "That may be true, Starscream, but if I know Cuervosplicer, he's smarter than you and me put together in every way. If I know Cuervosplicer, he will have a backup plan to follow you here."

Soundwave's transmission comes up on the monitors as he says, "Megatron, we are under attack!"

The monitors show that among the Autobots leading the charge and reprogramming every generic Decepticon foot soldier in sight was Ironhide, Cuervosplicer, Ratchet, Jazz, and Optimus Prime.

Megatron asks smugly, "You see what I mean?"

Later on, Megatron has just finished getting the first batch of Hatchlings to safety as Soundwave calls him over the commlink as he says, "Megatron, Autobots detected! They are infiltrating your location!"

Megatron replies, "I can see that for myself, Soundwave."

As Autobots pour into the room, Soundwave continues, "Your core functions are depleted of Energon. You have not regained the ability to change forms. You will have to drain Energon from several Autobots to recharge your core functions."

Megatron tries to access his Fusion Cannon, only to fail.

Megatron remarks, "I need my weapons back online! Decepticons, attack!"

Several Autobot Soldiers, Rocket Troopers, Shotgunners, Autobot Melee Warriors, and Protoform Autobots try to take on Megatron all at once, only to have their Energon drained by Megatron's Energon Drain ability all at once.

Feeling the Energon coursing through his circuits and recharging his core functions, Megatron sees more Autobots coming.

Megatron calls Soundwave on the commlink and says, "Soundwave! I need my weapons online NOW!"

Megatron feels his Fusion Cannon activating as Soundwave says, "Lord Megatron, your primary weapons are now online."

Megatron replies, "Finally! Now open those blast doors! I must find the rest of the Hatchlings!"

Soundwave replies back, "Accessing mainframe now."

Megatron starts firing his Fusion Cannon at the bigger Autobot troops while simultaneously draining Energon from the smaller ones.

After about two minutes of killing Autobot troops, Megatron contacts Soundwave over the commlink and asks crossly, "Why aren't those blast doors open?!"

Soundwave replies, "I need time to override the security protocols triggered by the attack."

A Decepticon Solider calls out, "Here they come!"

Megatron notices several open vents with smoke grenades dropping from them and enveloping the room in smoke.

Megatron manages to navigate through the smoke to take care of the Autobot troops entering the room.

After another two minutes of destroying the Autobot troops entering the room, Soundwave contacts Megatron and says, "Security protocols have been overridden, Lord Megatron. Blast doors are now open!"

Megatron notices the blast doors opening and quickly sprints through them while leaving the remaining Decepticon troops in the room behind as the room was set on fire throughout the whole fight.

Megatron left them behind because, well, he doesn't care about any of his soldiers with a few exceptions, including Soundwave.

Megatron progresses through the walkways as he eliminates several Autobots in his way while his own troops are taken out by rockets.

Eventually, Megatron notices Ironhide approaching from another walkway, and the weapon specialist switches to robot mode and brings out his Heavy Iron 2.0 as he calls out, "Megatron! Catch!"

Ironhide fires a rocket at Megatron, and the explosion knocks Megatron back into a wall that crumbles under his momentum as he falls to another section of the base, only to be temporarily buried under debris.

A while later, Megatron digs himself out of the debris as he remarks, "He will pay dearly for that."

As Megatron starts walking forward, a Decepticon Soldier contacts him and says, "Lord Megatron! The Autobots have breached the upper levels! We're holding them off as hard as we can muster!"

Megatron replies, "Good! Continue holding them off as hard as you can, or answer to me! I need to collect plutonium from the human stockpile. The hatchlings will feed off its power."

Megatron starts progressing towards the top of the missile on the upper floor, only to be besieged by more Autobots.

Megatron growls, "Cursed Autobots!"

Megatron drains the Energon from the Autobots attacking him, and progresses towards the missile top containing the plutonium he needs.

Megatron carefully rips the missile top open and takes out the plutonium while saying, "This plutonium is crude, but it will do."

Soundwave contacts Megatron and advises, "Megatron, use the plutonium in your Energon disperser to feed the hatchlings."

Megatron is attacked by a bigger group of Autobots and so decides to feed the hatchlings by covering the Autobot drones with plutonium-infused Energon.

The hatchlings manage to kill the majority of the Autobots while Megatron drains the Energon from the remaining Autobot troops to progress.

Megatron proceeds to the exit, only for it to be blasted into debris, blocking the Decepticon leader's path.

Megatron calls out angrily, "Soundwave! Find me an exit NOW!"

Soundwave replies emotionlessly, "Scans indicate a ventilation network below you."

Megatron proceeds to the mission marker provided by Soundwave, only to be intercepted by more Autobots.

Megatron successfully drains them of Energon while simultaneously having Sunstorm and Slipstream escorting the hatchlings to safety.

Megatron sprays the crane motor generator of the exhaust flame sprayer with Energon, causing the hatchlings to devour the Energon-covered metal and thereby causing the exhaust flame sprayer to deactivate and move itself to the side thanks to its crane motor.

As Sunstorm and Slipstream return to escort the other hatchlings to safety, Megatron jumps down and shoots the first vent to begin his trek through the vents.

Megatron is contacted by another Decepticon Soldier who exclaims, "Lord Megatron! We're being overrun by gigantic amounts of Autobots!"

Megatron replies, "I have no interest in your excuses!" Megatron contacts his numerous Fliers and other flying Decepticons as he says, "Astrotrain, get the remaining survivors and all of the hatchlings to safety! Blitzwing, Dropkick, Shatter, Agoraptor, Blackout, Megaflash, Galvaflash, Divebomb, Scrapfoot, Dreadwing, Gunbarrel, Incinerator, Jetstorm, Overcast, Reverb, Vortex, Blademaster, Dirge, Fearswoop, Grindor, Ramjet, Ruination, Skystalker, Skywarp, Spinister, Terradive, Thrust, Thundercracker, Darkstream, Skyhammer, Windburn, Blue Maximus, Duststorm, Jetblade, Lugnut, Sunspot, Tailwhip, Diveplane, Space Case, Helispike, Ratspike, Starscream! Get to the surface, and bomb the Autobots from above!"

Starscream replies, "We've all got the Autobots in our sights! Everyone, we must all make sure not to accidentally hit our leader! And that includes me."

Megatron navigates through the vents and comes out to another section of the base.

Suddenly, Megatron is attacked by even more Autobots.

Megatron growls, "Everywhere I turn, Autobots! Perhaps I should let the hatchlings feast upon YOU."

Megatron launches another glob of Energon at the Autobots, and the hatchlings feasts upon them.

Megatron progresses towards the next room, and sets the next batch of hatchlings upon the next deployment of Autobots.

Soon, Megatron is attacked by an Omnibot Warrior.

Knowing that his precious hatchlings would likely get slaughtered if he should set them upon the Omnibot Warrior, Megatron opted for draining the Omnibot Warrior's Energon.

The process was a little slow due to this type of Autobot soldier being about as tall as Megatron and the constant minigun bullets were hampering Megatron's progress. But he managed to drain the Omnibot Warrior of his Energon.

Megatron continues his trek until he comes across another ventilation shaft and blasts the entrance to it.

Soon after he begins making his trek through the vents while blasting the fans and avoiding the exhaust flames, Megatron is contacted by a Decepticon Soldier who says, "Lord Megatron, we've secured level 3!"

Megatron replies, "Good! Lock it off and proceed to the upper levels, soldier! Leave no Autobot alive!"

Megatron eventually finishes his trek through the ventilation shaft and comes into another section of the base where missile #2 is being kept.

Megatron drains the Energon of the Autobots sent to stop him, and feels his core functions being ninety percent reenergized.

As Megatron continues on his way to the top of the level where the top of Missile 2 is being kept, Megatron has to contend with more and more Autobots being sent to intercept him.

Megatron continuously drains the Energon from his enemies, leaving drained husks in his wake.

Megatron eventually makes it to an elevator in the area where the top part of Missile 2 would be loaded with plutonium before being attached to the rest of the missile.

Megatron spies the lift generator and launches a glob of Energon at it, causing the hatchlings to feast on it due to the amount of Energon covering the generator.

The lift arrives, and Megatron steps inside, being carried to the top part of the level where the missile would be.

Megatron arrives at the platform where the top of Missile 2 is nearly on an equal level with in terms of height.

Megatron spies another crane motor and launches another glob of Energon at it, causing the hatchlings to dismantle the machinery.

The crane motor carefully detaches the top of Missile 2 where the plutonium would be and carries it to the area where the lift would start at the bottom.

As soon as the top part of Missile 2 is detached and it starts moving, Megatron drains the Energon of four more Autobots sent to intercept him.

Megatron jumps down to the bottom of Missile 2 and backtracks his way to the bottom of the lift where the top of the missile is... while contending with more Autobots sent to stop him.

Megatron either drained the Energon from them, sliced their heads off with his Death-Lock Pincer, stabbed them through their chestplates, shot them to death or just set hatchlings on them.

Megatron eventually makes it to the missile top, carefully rips it open and extracts the plutonium from it while exclaiming delightfully, "More plutonium!"

Megatron contacts Soundwave and says, "Soundwave, we no longer have any choice. The time has come to free Shockwave from his icy tomb."

Soundwave replies, "Affirmative. My connection to the Cryo Chamber has been permanently severed. You will have to manually begin the thawing process. Uploading its location now."

Megatron takes a look at the holo-map Soundwave uploaded, and backtracks his way to the missile, where he forces the exit doors open.

Upon finding a group of Decepticon Soldiers and Combaticon Scouts holding up the doorway, Megatron snarls, "Soldier, cover that door!"

One of the Combaticon Scouts leads the charge, only to be gunned down by a shot from a sniper rifle.

Megatron sees that Autobot Snipers and Protectobot Snipers have intercepted his deployment of Decepticons.

Megatron sneers, "Snipers! Cowards with rifles!"

As Megatron begins gunning down the Snipers, a Decepticon Soldier calls out on the commlink, "Megatron! The Autobots have us surrounded!"

Megatron replies sternly and non-caringly, "Good! Keep them occupied! I have more important things to do!"

Megatron guns down the rest of the Snipers while simultaneously draining their comrades of their Energon.

Megatron progresses to the other side of the walkways in the room and another Omnibot Warrior pelts the Decepticon leader with multiple bullets from his minigun.

As Megatron deals with the Omnibot Warrior, another Decepticon Soldier calls him over the commlink. The Soldier says, "Megatron! We're encountering heavy Autobot resistance in the dry docks!"

Megatron sneers in reply, "Of course you are!"

Megatron deals with the remaining Autobot Snipers and progresses towards the tunnels leading to the dry docks.

Megatron stops to contact Soundwave.

Megatron states, "Soundwave! Direct me to the cryo chamber please!"

Soundwave's response was, "Affirmative. Sending coordinates. Drive through the tunnels near the dry docks."

Megatron continues on his trek as a Decepticon Soldier contacts him.

The Soldier exclaims, "The Autobots are pushing through!"

Megatron replies, "Then push back! No one retreats! GET OUT THERE AND FIGHT, YOU COWARDS!"

Megatron comes across a tunnel with overhead platforms that have Autobots firing on Megatron's troops below them.

Megatron shouts, "Decepticons, take out those Rocket Troopers on the upper level!"

The Decepticon Soldiers, Combaticon Scouts, Decepticon Melee Warriors, Decepticon Sergeants, Decepticon Captains, Decepticon Lieutenants (WFC Decepticon Captains,) and Combaticon Warriors open fire on the Autobot Rocket Troopers above them.

Megatron spots Autobot Machine Gunners on the upper levels and calls out, "Decepticons, destroy the machine gunners on the upper level!"

Megatron's troops managed to avoid casualties for once, something that the Decepticon leader smirked evilly at.

Then, Megatron progresses to the top platform while contending with more Autobots and while avoiding any EMP grenades that he comes across.

Megatron eventually gets to the top level in the room and drains all of the Energon from the latest Omnibot Warrior.

Along that way, Megatron secretly knew that his Seekers were discreetly loading the hatchlings aboard Astrotrain and his twin brother, Snowtorrent.

Megatron electronically said to Sunstorm and Slipstream in Cybertronian over the commlink, "Excellent work, my dear friends. Now go and rendezvous with the other Seekers and Fliers. I will go revive Shockwave from his frozen imprisonment and then I will join you."

Sunstorm asks, "What about our ground forces?"

Megatron replies, "The majority of them are already aboard Snowtorrent. Do not worry, Sunstorm. Now, take care of any Aerialbots that try to bomb me and the others. Megatron out."

Megatron passes some freight trains and enters the tunnel with some vehicles and an entrance leading to the tunnels that lead to the cryo chamber.

Soundwave calls Megatron and says, "Lord Megatron, you require a functioning vehicle mode in order to drive through the tunnels leading to the cryo chamber."

Megatron notices the front half of a 2010 Mack M915 Line-Haul Replacement tractor truck and remarks, "There! That form will suit my needs. And hopefully provide me with new weapons."

Megatron scans the truck and transforms into an exact replica of it.

Megatron laughs maniacally as he transforms back to his robot mode, only to take on the appearance of his third movie counterpart – except for his still remaining integrated Fusion Cannon and Death Lock Pincer.

Megatron forces the exit doors open and drives at high speed down the tunnels in vehicle mode.

Soundwave contacts Megatron and advises, "Megatron. Several human vehicles are approaching your position."

Megatron replies, "I will teach the fleshlings the folly of their pursuit."

Megatron comes across many human military vehicles and engages his Stealth Force mode.

The tanks fire shells at Megatron, but his new durability enables him to shrug off the shots as he puts his Stealth Force Assault Rifles and Stealth Force Rocket Launchers to good use.

One of the human soldiers calls out, "Halt! You are ordered to stand down and surrender!"

His comrade clarifies, "Are you crazy?! That's Megatron!"

The same soldier observes Megatron's path of slaughter and remarks, "Holy smokes!"

Another soldier avoids Megatron's rockets and calls out, "Return fire!"

But in the end, Megatron smashed through the human vehicles, leaving several casualties that the Decepticon leader knows Cuervosplicer would reverse to save them.

Megatron progresses towards another tunnel and gets besieged by a large number of Autobot Soldiers.

Megatron simply smashes through them with his new weapons, seeing as how his frame's core functions and fuel tank are already filled to the maximum with Energon.

Megatron continues after forcing another door open, and finds himself in a room with several hydraulic ramps.

But before he can continue, Megatron witnesses the front door open to reveal a clone of Warpath. But Megatron doesn't know that the Warpath in front of him was a clone, not the real deal.

Warpath's clone remarks, "Megatron! I've been waiting so long for my shot at you! Promise you won't go down too easy – I want this to last."

Megatron sneers in reply, "The only thing to last, Warpath, will be your suffering!"

Warpath's clone transforms to his tank mode and fires a shell at Megatron, only for the Decepticon leader to move out of the way.

The tank shell impacts a part of the tunnel ceiling behind Megatron, completely blocking any arriving Autobot reinforcements and Megatron's escape route.

Deciding to take matters into his own servos, Megatron switches to his Stealth Force mode and engages Warpath's clone in a Stealth Force fight.

The clone's missiles manage to destroy the hydraulic ramps, thus making sure that Megatron has no cover to hide behind, but Megatron's new durability and his new weapons allowed him to damage Warpath's clone.

After about eight minutes of shooting Warpath's clone, the clone is forced to transform back to robot mode.

Megatron doesn't relent in his assault, even going so far as to drain Warpath's clone of some of his Energon.

After a final Fusion Cannon blast, Warpath's clone topples over, completely deactivated.

Megatron remarks backhandedly, "Pathetic! You couldn't take me on your BEST day!"

Just then, Saber Pax appears out of nowhere and Megatron gets ready for a fight.

Saber Pax inquires, "Did you really think that Cuervosplicer would allow you and Starscream to murder Warpath, Stratosphere and the Aerialbots?"

Megatron inquires in response, "What are you prattling on about, Saber Pax?"

Saber Pax explains, "Cuervosplicer has been aware of many Autobot casualties from the very beginning of his campaign, which is why he organized himself to change the Autobot casualties of this war: Jazz, Arcee, Chromia, Elita One, Jetfire, me, Longarm, Grindcore, Armorhide, Beachbreak, Blazemaster, Brawn, Breacher, Soundraker/Grounder Breakaway, Camshaft, Clocker, Warpath, Stratosphere, Silverbolt, Air Raid, Slingshot, Airazor, Fireflight, Skydive, Aerialbot Breakaway, and Firestorm. Cuervosplicer is as smart as you, Optimus, Ratchet, Perceptor, Shockwave, Scalpel, Ironhide, Wheeljack, Starscream and Onslaught put together."

Megatron's jaw plate was lowered in shock and his optics were widened in shock as he realized that Cuervosplicer has some sort of intuition of the Cybertronian Civil War to the point where he would act to revive any human and Autobot casualties.

(Quick author's note: this doesn't mean Megatron's gonna find out about Cuervosplicer's foreknowledge. No, this is part of the Entertainingly Wrong trope that involves a character coming to an epiphany of their friend/enemy's goals and intentions, but still turn out to be wrong because they don't have all of the details. Just wanted to let you know.)

As Megatron growls in anger, Saber Pax states cheekily, "See ya later, sucker!"

Saber Pax teleports out of the room just before Megatron can even think about opening fire on the Optimus Prime-lookalike.

Soundwave contacts his master and says, "Megatron, several human vehicles and several Autobots are approaching your location. Suggest continue moving to the cryo chamber."

Megatron mentally admits that Soundwave's right and that he has no time to waste if he's gonna revive Shockwave.

Megatron opens the exit door and drives through the remaining tunnels at a controlled form of maximum speed in vehicle mode.

Upon arriving at the cryo chamber, Megatron switches back to robot mode as Soundwave explains, "The cryo chamber systems must be deactivated. Be careful not to fire your weapons near it; a crack in the system could freeze you."

Megatron progresses towards the first mission marker and forces open the doors leading to the first half of the Cryo Control Systems.

Soundwave explains, "Shockwave is being held in a chamber directly below you. These tanks supply every ounce of the coolant."

Megatron replies, "As it just so happens, Soundwave, I am all too familiar with this technology. The Americans kept me frozen at the Hoover Dam in a similar setup. It is indeed ironic that Shockwave suffered the same fate at the fleshy hands of the Soviets."

Megatron makes it to the first generator and launches a glob of Energon at it, causing the hatchlings to dismantle it.

Icepick and Chainclaw arrive in the room to teleport every one of the hatchlings to safety.

Cryo steam starts shooting out of holes in the coolant tanks.

Megatron remarks, "The temperature is dropping rapidly, Soundwave."

Soundwave advises in reply, "Megatron, be cautious of the cryo steam!"

Megatron makes it to the second cryo generator while avoiding the cryo steam and throws another glob of Energon at it.

Once he sees the hatchlings come out, Icepick and Chainclaw help them eat faster and as the temperature starts to drop further, Megatron sprints back to the exit.

As Icepick and Chainclaw teleport the hatchlings to safety, Megatron looks at his freezing armor and says, "My circuitry is freezing."

As Megatron starts to force the door open, Soundwave says, "Megatron, evacuate!"

Megatron reenters the cryo chamber and is besieged by Autobots.

Thankful that the cryo tanks are nearly invulnerable to anything except his Fusion Cannon, Megatron fires his Assault Rifles the majority of the Autobots while draining the Energon of the others, because, why not?

After draining Energon from the last Autobot, Megatron enters the second coolant room and repeats the same process with the first generator.

Icepick and Chainclaw continue teleporting into the room so they can teleport the hatchlings out of the room and onto Astrotrain.

While making it to the second generator, Megatron drains even more Energon from some Autobots sent into the coolant room to intercept him.

Megatron repeats the process on the second generator, Icepick and Chainclaw repeat the same process with the hatchlings, and Megatron sprints to the exit.

Megatron manages to force the door open and evacuate the room with Icepick and Chainclaw before even one speck of ice could form on their armors.

Megatron drains more Energon from the last deployment of Autobots, including another Omnibot Warrior.

After the Omnibot Warrior goes offline, Soundwave contacts Megatron and says, "Megatron, you have enough plutonium to begin the final thawing process."

Icepick says, "You got this, Lord Megatron. We'll rendezvous with you on the surface."

Icepick and Chainclaw are teleported out of the room via a small enough Space Bridge.

This was because, after the death of The Fallen Prime, Megatron's remaining troops harnessed the former Decepticon founder's Space Bridge powers and implemented it to their technology for transportation, among other uses.

But before Megatron could use the plutonium, he hears a rumbling sound coming from the entrance.

The doors burst to reveal Optimus Prime ramming it and turning around to hit Megatron with his new trailer.

Cuervosplicer appears in his new ground vehicle mode, which looks like a combination of a Japanese Mitsubishi Fuso F-Series FT fire ladder truck and a modified 2010 Rosenbaur Panther 6X6 airport crash fire truck.

Optimus and Cuervosplicer transform to robot mode and jump into the air, punching Megatron in the face in unison.

Megatron gets up from the floor as Optimus remarks, "Megatron. You're a hard one to find."

Cuervosplicer adds, "Except that such tactics are no match for my cunning intellect."

Megatron retorts, "I was wondering when you two would show up. Especially since Cuervosplicer has an intuition of how long it would take for even him to show up to fight me."

Optimus equips himself with a chainsaw, a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher and four Energon Armor Field Generators while saying, "Whatever you're up to, Megatron, it ends here. Now."

As Cuervosplicer throws the first punch while Optimus provides cover fire with his Ion Blaster, Soundwave contacts Megatron and says, "Megatron, your weapons cannot penetrate Optimus Prime's shielding. Cuervosplicer, on the other hand, is nigh invulnerable. Find an alternative to break through their armors."

Megatron shoots one of the cryo tanks with Optimus and Cuervosplicer in front of it, encasing them both in ice for thirty seconds.

As Megatron opens fire on the two frozen Autobots, Soundwave explains, "Megatron. Scans indicate the coolant can be used to weaken Optimus Prime's shielding and Cuervosplicer's nigh invulnerable battle armor."

As Optimus and Cuervosplicer manage to free themselves, Optimus' Energon Armor Field Generators are destroyed and Cuervosplicer's nigh invulnerability is bypassed as Megatron remarks, "Let's see how you two feel about my Fusion Cannon without your precious armors!"

Optimus retorts, "This makes no difference!"

Optimus and Cuervosplicer unload everything they have upon Megatron, only for the Decepticon leader to avoid most of the barrages of firepower from even Optimus' Jetwing Omega Combat Armor and weapons.

Megatron eventually resorts to draining some of Optimus Prime's Energon and some of Cuervosplicer's Energon.

Even Cuervosplicer's Corvuswing Ultra Combat Armor sharing design elements of Optimus' Jetwing Omega Combat Armor, Cybertron Optimus Prime's Super Mode, Armada Optimus Prime combined with Armada Jetfire and Armada Overload, Cuervosplicer combined with Saber Pax, and the current Optimus Prime combined with the current Jetfire didn't faze Megatron enough to make him retreat.

Despite the severe damages, Megatron manages to finally defeat both Optimus Prime and Cuervosplicer at the same time for the first time.

Megatron snarls, "I could crush the sparks out of you and your Lieutenant Commander right now, Prime. But as much as it pains me, there are larger plans afoot."

Megatron activates the service entrance to Shockwave's icy imprisonment and finishes with, "Goodbye. For now."

Megatron kicks both Optimus and Cuervosplicer into the cryo chamber below and then takes his leave.

Upon making it to the surface, Megatron notices that Cuervosplicer's forces and Optimus Prime's forces are dealing with the cleanup efforts of the mess they made.

Megatron quietly transforms to his truck mode while simultaneously rescanning his vehicle mode with a tanker trailer. Then his headlights turn on as he begins to quietly drive away without even Ratchet's sharp hearing spotting him.

Ratchet calls out to the N.E.S.T soldiers, "Keep it moving! We've got to put out those fires!"

Ironhide comes up to Ratchet and asks, "Ratchet, have you seen either Optimus or Cuervosplicer?"

Ratchet replies, "Not since they both went after Megatron."

Megatron quietly sneers as he quietly drives away unnoticed, "Until next time we meet, Autobots."

Megatron continues driving away, and in the cryo chamber, Shockwave's single optic receptor flickers on for a few moments before flickering on and off.
