Transformers Dark Of The Moon: Cuervosplicer's Birthright.
Chapter 11: The Traitor's Trial.
(Author's notes: In this chapter, Sentinel Prime will reveal why there are two additional Primes and why Optimus is not exactly the last descendant of the Dynasty of the Primes in this current timeline.
Also, the reason why chapters 10 and 11 are shorter is because they take place within the Autobot side of the movie portion of this story. There's Decepticons, but they're only being featured in the Africa and Washington D.C. scenes, in addition to the fight to the death, and there's no human segments other than the most important characters.
Enjoy chapter 11.)
(Autobot Headquarters, Cuervosplicer's POV...)
We made it to Autobot Headquarters flawlessly with Steelflight Prime's soon-to-be corpse.
And that was mainly because the Aerialbots and Jetfire didn't detect any sign of hostiles, so we were clear to return to Earth.
It was decided that Omega Supreme and Lambda Supreme would be commissioned as backup ships in the event that the Xantium was blown up or otherwise damaged beyond conventional repairs.
We had Steelflight strapped and chained towards an operating table to prepare for any crazed rage outbursts when we revive him long enough to make an impromptu trial.
As I already knew, Sam and Mikaela were also gonna witness Steelflight's temporary resurrection and his trial.
I heard Director Jenkins say to his agents, "We've taken possession of the nine hundred devices that were being transported on the ships piloted by Sentinel Prime and Steelflight Prime. They're some kind of Autobot technology that defies our laws of physics to transport matter across distant galaxies in a matter of minutes. Cuervosplicer said that Sentinel was the Einstein of his civilization, so we're keeping these locked up to prevent the Decepticons from stealing them. Cuervosplicer and the entire Autobot army plan to use the pillars to bring Cybertron into our solar system so that Cuervosplicer can return the Allspark Cube to Cybertron's core so that the planet of the Transformers can be revived. But for now, until Megatron and the entire remnants of the Decepticon army are defeated, no one gets access. NO ONE."
Soon, every one of our remaining Autobots from around the world arrived to watch the occasion.
When Sentinel was asked why Optimus was not the last descendant of the Dynasty of the Primes like we originally thought, Sentinel had this to say: "When The Fallen went into stasis on life support, the Allspark used Vector Sigma to create children of the Primes to carry on the legacy of the Dynasty. And also to have Primes on standby to take on The Fallen in case he returns."
Jetfire comes up and asks, "Why did this descendant of the Primes join The Fallen's remaining minions?"
I answered, "Well, since you weren't here, I'll explain it, Jetfire. Sentinel was originally in Steelflight's position in the original timeline, and when he was executed by Optimus for his betrayal, Sentinel's spark traveled into the past because Primus was giving him one last chance to redeem himself. If Sentinel screwed it up, he'd be sent to the Pit. So, Sentinel changed his ways in the past in the current timeline, and because the universe needs to balance itself should a timeline become altered, Steelflight Prime took Sentinel's place as the main antagonist of the upcoming conclusion of our war with the Decepticons."
Jetfire seemed to accept my explanation, knowing that I never lied about my foreknowledge whatsoever.
Soon enough, Optimus brought out the Matrix Of Leadership and said while preparing to plunge it into Steelflight's chestplate, "Let us begin. Steelflight Prime, we bid you return for your trial."
Optimus plunges the Matrix into Steelflight's chestplate, and the Energon volts reenergized the traitorous Prime.
Steelflight is aghast at the sight of himself being restrained as I asked menacingly, "Ready for your trial, Prime?"
In Steelflight's trial, he revealed that he did turn traitor to take over where Sentinel got cold pedes, and that when he heard about me, he was gonna kill my sparkmate and my children to make me surrender.
Saber Pax and I raised our guns at Steelflight's head as the traitorous Prime abandons his pride and pleads for mercy.
Steelflight says pleadingly, "Cuervosplicer, Saber, please reconsider. All I wanted was the survival of our race and our planet. You all must see why I had to betray the ways of our ancestors and why I had to betray all of you."
I replied with venom in my voice, "You didn't betray us. You betrayed yourself, former Prime. On behalf of the Dynasty, and by their power, I hereby declare you are a Prime no longer."
As Steelflight howled for mercy one more time, Saber Pax and I shot Steelflight's head in a double tap shot.
Soon, I brought one of my fellow Transfans from the Quadwal cluster, Gonzalo Boudreaux, to this dimension with an exact copy of my memories downloaded into his mind, and he accepted the opportunity to become an Autobot.
I gave him a body frame that looked like a combination of the Tyran cluster Starscream, the Tyran cluster Skydive, the Armada Starscream, and the Generation 1 Skydive.
Gonzalo is now known as Stardive.
Soon, we went to work reprogramming Steelflight's memory core and erasing from his memory all of his crimes.
Megatron's in for a very large shock.
(Meanwhile, in Namibia, Africa...)
Several buffalos, elephants and zebras were gathered around the area that served as a one hundred percent primitive substitute Decepticon Headquarters.
Soon, a 2010 Mack M915 Line-Haul Replacement tractor-trailer tanker truck comes onto the scene with a beastly growl as it comes to a stop.
Suddenly, the truck itself transforms into a humanoid robot with a cloaked hood covering its damaged head, revealing itself to be Megatron.
Megatron growled menacingly, causing the buffalos and zebras to scatter and run away to save their lives.
Megatron brandished his Fusion Shotgun from his back in a threatening manner and growled again at the elephants.
The elephants trumpeted as Megatron declares, "All hail Megatron!"
The elephants walked away as Megatron sheathed his shotgun and removed his cloak, showing that the battle damages from the Battle for Egypt were still there.
As Megatron approaches the camp, the Decepticon known as Igor, made from the head of Long Haul, approached Megatron while exclaiming, "My master! Yes, master! Yes!"
Several barrels shake as the hatchlings chirp and growl, hungry for Energon.
Megatron sprays Energon into the barrels as he says soothingly, "Oh, don't be greedy, my fragile ones. There's plenty of Energon for everyone."
As Megatron finishes feeding the hatchlings with the right amount of Energon to keep them alive and to keep them fed for the next few days, Starscream arrives on the scene, switching to his robot mode as he lands.
Starscream remarks deceivingly, "Oh, my poor master! How it pains me to see you so wounded, so weak."
Megatron rebukes his lieutenant and replies, "Spare me your speeches, you gaseous sycophant! You know what you are told, which is nothing!"
Suddenly, Laserbeak comes onto the scene, shooting an African vulture in pure anger.
Megatron noticed how angered Laserbeak was, and to say the least, he was a little startled. But he wasn't gonna show it.
Soundwave states, "Soundwave reporting, Lord Megatron."
Megatron asks, "And what news does Laserbeak have for me?"
Laserbeak replies angrily, "The Autobots didn't take the bait one hundred percent. They discovered the Ark and the Longlancer Beastclaw, they retrieved the special cargo, but they found out about Operation: Pillar, and they've managed to actually execute Steelflight Prime. On top of that, several of our agents were brainwashed into becoming Cuervosplicer's sleeper agents, and we already know what happened to Dylan Gould and his father."
Megatron replies back, "Calm yourself, Laserbeak. You'll end up scaring the hatchlings."
Laserbeak calms himself as Megatron continues, "Now, while I don't deny that Cuervosplicer and the rest of the Autobots ruining our plans is wholly unacceptable, throwing a tantrum in front of the hatchlings is not going to fix that. But you did do me great honor in tracking those ships to the moon." Megatron turns to Soundwave as he finishes saying, "Even if they are Cuervosplicer's sleeper agents today, your human collaborators have served their purpose, Soundwave. It's time to tie up loose ends."
Soundwave turns to Laserbeak and says, "Laserbeak, kill them all."
Laserbeak replies, "With pleasure."
Then Laserbeak flies off.
Megatron then says, "Soundwave, return to your post in the United States. I want you to order Barricade and the Dreads to initiate our contingency plan."
Soundwave responds, "Yes, Lord Megatron."
Soundwave leaves the Decepticon camp, leaving Megatron surrounded by over ninety quadrillion of his remaining troops. He had this many troops now because he took a cue from Cuervosplicer and had all of his groups of generic Decepticon troops cloned to gain an advantage over the Autobots.
But what Megatron didn't know was that he was playing into Cuervosplicer's claws by making clones of his generic troops for the Autobot Lieutenant Commander to reprogram.
Oh, Megatron had no idea that his final defeat was coming soon, and this time, Cuervosplicer will make sure that it's permanent.
The End.
(Author's notes: In the next chapter, the Decepticon army invades Earth the old-fashioned way since the Space Bridge pillars are a no-go and since there are no more traitorous Primes.
See you in chapter 12.)
