The light in the room was a dull grey as Akane sat up on her twin bed. She swung her feet over the edge and felt underneath her pillow for her phone. The time was roughly 8 AM, and since it was Saturday, everyone else who decided to stay in the dorms over the weekend would definitely be sleeping in right now. Normally, she would be doing the same thing, but yesterday left her a bit edgy. She wasn't exactly ready to face anyone after leaving the infirmary and ended up going to bed early to avoid confrontation. Even all the messages that had been blowing up her phone she didn't bother to reply. It was nice to see that they were worried about her, but it made her feel even more like a shitty friend for not answering when all she wanted was some time alone.

The bed across from her was empty; Ochako had gone home last night. She would never say it out loud, but she was kind of glad that she wasn't there to bother her for the day. Speaking of which, now that she was up, she had a good bit of time to kill before she needed to leave, around four hours' worth. She only planned for one thing today, so aside from that, she figured she'd let the day decide what else she would do. Akane peered out the sliding glass door to the balcony to look at the sky. The sun probably wouldn't come out, what with all the clouds covering far as the eye could see and it was getting colder every day now. Winter break was merely two weeks away, now that she thought of it. Maybe she could go out for a run; it was the best time to do it. Besides, she didn't really appeal to the idea of sitting in her room all morning and Bakugo did give her a workout regimen to do "every single day". She might as well get it over and done with.

Akane went to open her drawers and picked out her new thermal-protected workout gear to change into. Once it was on, she approached their shared nightstand to unplug her wireless headphones from their charger and placed them in her hooded pocket. She grabbed her phone and a bottle of water from the mini fridge before she slipped on her shoes and walked out the door. As expected, the hallway was empty and silent, so hopefully it would be the same down below. She walked over to the elevator and pushed the button. In no time at all, it opened, and she stepped in to go all the way down to the lounge. Same as before, no one was there, which allowed her to somewhat relax. She felt around her pockets for her headphones before squishing them in her ear and set the music on her phone to connect with it. The deep drums echoed in her brain as the sound of slick guitar solo melded along with it. Bobbing her head to the beat, she went through the open, unlit common area and exited out the front door.

Little did she know, someone else was already up. From the moment he heard the elevator ding, he curiously ducked his head out from the kitchen entrance to see that annoying little red head strolling across the commons. His beady red eyes narrowed at her peculiarly for being up so damn early. Normally, Bakugo was the only one up at this time, so he didn't expect to see anyone come down, especially on a Saturday. He eyed her from the top of her long scarlet ponytail to her casual fitting work out clothes. She obviously didn't see him as she placed her headphones in her ear before walking completely out of his sight. Where the hell was she going at a time like this? Not that he gave a shit, but if she wanted to work out, she was better off going up to the gym. No one was up there anyways, and it was freezing outside. The winter months were something he really couldn't stand this time of year, but as far as he knew, that idiot probably liked that shit.

He thought back to the note he left in the evaluation book, wondering if she ever actually read the damn thing. He wanted to assume she didn't, but after listening to what Hatsumodo said, it was possibly that she didn't want to be around anybody. If that was the case, then he'd definitely have something to say about it. Glancing back to the kitchen, he contemplated it. He hadn't even made himself breakfast yet or gotten dressed out of his lounging clothes, but if he really wanted to talk to her about her quirk, he needed to come to a decision. It took maybe five seconds before he ran back up to his room. He threw off his sweatpants and got into a pair of jeans, changed to his long-sleeved shirt and jacket, and slipped on his shoes. He quickly snatched his phone and wallet off the bed and bolted out the door.

Once he made it out the front entrance, he looked all around him, hoping to spot her flaming hair, but was left unsuccessful. And damn it, it was fucking cold! The lightbulb in his head instantly went off, to which he clasped his hands together and started to aggressively rub them. As soon as enough sweat formed in the middle of his palms, he held out his hands and detonated. His body propelled high in the cloudy grey sky, which gave him a full bird's eye view of U.A. He concentrated the heat of his explosions to keep himself up for a good solid minute and gave himself a 360 degree turn. The second his eyes came across the main road, they were immediately locked to a patch of scarlet swishing back and forth as she jogged. She was a fair distance away, not surprising considering all the time he took getting ready, but at least he found her. Katsuki softened the explosions, allowing him to land safely back on the ground. With no time to waste, he tailed after her. It didn't take long for him to catch up about halfway. The distance between them eventually became short enough to where her body was no longer the size of an ant.

"Hey!" he called out. The response was silent. She didn't turn around, or even flinch, which was weird because he knew they were close enough for her to be in earshot. Was she ignoring him? Oh wait, that's right, she had her headphones on. He had to get closer.

Out of nowhere, she changed direction off the road through the wood line that led to the training grounds. Was she going back to Ground Omega? Just then, his curiosity got the best of him, and he decided not to engage with her yet. He remembered the training he ordered her to do for homework, so maybe that's what she was doing. Well, he could at least see if she actually does it. If not, then he could finally have a reason to end this stupid training. Then he wouldn't have to be chasing her down like this.

About halfway through the forest, Hattori stopped short. Bakugo was able to be within range to where if he wanted to set off an explosion, she'd be knocked out cold. It was almost tempting, now that he thought about it, but instead, he waited. She pulled out her phone and scrolled her thumb across the screen, more likely to change to the next song. After a minute, she put it back in her pocket and bent her knees to crouch down. The black color began to drain from the roots of her hair as her body bulked up, and in a flash, she launched herself into the branches of the dead trees. One by one, she lunged through the trees, her quirk allowing her to pick up incredible speed with each branch. That was new. Bakugo had to re-heat the nitroglycerin in his hands to get himself flying again just to keep up with her. Before long, she made it out into an open clearing, to which she dropped down and retreated her powers back inside her. It was then that he realized they were back in the rock quarry. Keeping his stealth, Katsuki remained hidden by leaning behind the trunk of a tree and watched her.

Hattori did a few arm stretches before she gathered a couple of large rocks to do her lifts. From what he could see, she was only using a partial amount of her quirk, which only annoyed him. She should be using her maximum power and adding more weight, especially now since her cuffs were busted. That, he'll have to bitch about later. It shouldn't count as a real workout if she's not pushing herself. When she finished her sets, she tossed them to the ground with a loud thud and went to do her five hundred punches and kicks. He wanted her to do that much for each arm and leg, not altogether. Hopefully, she was smart enough to know that.

Time flew on by and lo and behold, she did it right and without even taking a break. That was good, one less thing to bitch about.

Akane huffed a breath in exhaustion as she raised her arms behind her head and arched her back. Now that she was done, he wondered if maybe he should've added more shit to do because from her perspective, it seemed like it was just a simple warm-up. She did a few more arm stretches and then bent down to stretch out her legs. When she did so, one of her headphones fell out of her ear and dropped across the ground. His eyes followed her when she went to pick it up but narrowed when she suddenly jerked. Taking a step back, her mouth parted, and eyes were still glued to the ground. What's going on? Did she see a bug or something? As he followed her gaze, there was a dark patch where her headphone had landed, a patch of dried blood.

After a minute, her shocked expression changed into something he couldn't exactly describe. She was unusually calm when she took out her other earpiece, shut off her music, and put them in her pocket. If he wanted to get her attention, this was the moment to do it, but something about the way she looked made him want to wait a bit more to see what she'd do next. Just then, Hattori turned on her heels and walked over to the giant boulder in the center. She placed a hand on the edge, feeling the rough exterior. What the hell was she doing? It was then that the color of her hair changed again, except this time, it blackened all the way down to the tips. Her dark clothes tightened around her growing frame to the point where the seams were on the verge of tearing. He cringed at the transformation, his heart pounding deep behind his ribcage. The memory of that dark, feral side he battled yesterday was something he really didn't want to deal with right now. Was it really her though, standing there? Or was it… that?

He shook his head. No, she only gets like that when she's hit. Right?

BAM! Hattori's knuckles pounded against the giant rock. Small chunks of gravel crumbled freely from the base as she continued to wail on it over and over again. Was she trying to break it already? There's no way she had enough training to do that now, the damn idiot. The sound of crushing rock became obsolete when he heard her start to whimper with pain. The force behind her punches into the rough exterior were cutting the shit out of her knuckles, tearing through the skin in a bloody mess. Why the fuck wasn't she wearing gloves? Shockingly, she kept fighting the boulder, forcing herself to endure the pain. What the hell was she trying to prove? At this point, if she kept on, she'll break her hands.

Katsuki couldn't watch this anymore and decided to step out from the wood line into the open area. He took a few steps towards her, not caring how upset she would be that he practically spied on her all this time. So what if she yelled at him or called him a creep, he could take it.

Suddenly, she belted out a throat-numbing scream that forced him to halt in his tracks. A slight chill ran down his spine as his ears perked up, and it wasn't from the cold. Hattori curled both her arms at her side and swiftly shoved them into the gaping hole she had created. The vibration of the impact slightly shook the ground around them. CRACK! A fractured line instantly ascended from the base of the dent to the top of the boulder, like a lightning bolt. It didn't completely fall apart, but there was no doubt that she penetrated all the way through it. Bakugo's heart stopped, completely taken aback.

Hattori then leaned her body shakily against the rock, trying to relax her spasming lungs. The muscle fibers underneath her skin felt like pins and needles as they receded back to their normal state. Bakugo was at a loss for words. It wasn't that ferocious girl from yesterday. No, if it was, she would've continued to be in that state, causing more damage to the area until she found a way to calm down. What she just did to that boulder was entirely on her own. He didn't expect her to do that for another few weeks at best, which led him to believe that if she could do that, then why wouldn't she apply that strength today? In response to his own mind, his feet moved onward. Now that she was back to normal, he was confident that she wouldn't attack.

"Hey."

She frantically jerked her head and was locked to his blood red eyes. She looked panicked, as if she had just been caught in an unforgivable act.

"I left a note in the book I told Recovery Girl to hand to you, did you see it?"

Her lips parted to answer him, but quickly closed back up, knowing he wasn't going to like what she would say. Unfortunately, her silence spoke volumes and it didn't take long for Bakugo to understand what was going on. His nose scrunched up with irritation as he stomped closer.

"So, you've been blowing me off?..." He huskily growled under his breath.

He caught her. With a sigh, she accepts defeat. Though she was hoping not to deal with him until the end of the weekend, knowing him, he wasn't going to let this slide. "Yea, I do that…"

Katsuki ignored the rage pulse in his head to get to the point. "We need to talk about your quirk."

"Let it wait until Monday…" Akane averted her emerald eyes to the solemn ground and started drifting her body around him, wanting him to take the hint. Immediately, he clasped her hand, forcing her to stop.

"Hey, I'm not done with you yet!"

His grip compressed around her bloodied knuckles, making her wince with pain. On reflex, she swatted out of his grip and brought her hand to her chest. "Look, I just want to be alone, okay?!"

"You can be alone after we talked!"

She forced a breath that she had been holding in through her nose as her eyes narrowed at him for being so forceful. Internally, she rolled her eyes at him and went to move around him again. As if she would listen to him. It's not group time, so she was her own person right now. Bakugo stepped in front of her, blocking her path. She growled in the back of her throat and tried again, but he continued to get in her way. Akane had had enough of this asshole. If he wasn't going to move then, she'll have to make him. Quickly, she grabbed onto his shoulder and gave him a hard shove. The moment her hand touched his shoulder, he grabbed it. She yelped as he squeezed her harder, and when she struggled to break free, he refused her.

"Let me go!"

"Not until we talk, you damn idiot!"

The air became colder as Akane felt her blood start to boil. Her pale face then flushed into a deep shade of pink, trying to keep herself together, but struggling dangerously hard. She could already feel the pain forming in her muscles, wanting to sync with her rage and bulk back up to get him to fuck off. Gritting her teeth, she fought it back.

"I said – Let. Go."

If it wasn't for the fact that he was still recuperating from yesterday, he would've kept on and let it escalate into an all-out brawl. This was the second time she said that, and he knew that if he didn't, she would break his arm. Giving in, he allowed her to jerk her arm away. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves and massaged around the knuckles. Now that he was able to see them up close, he's surprised she didn't smash her whole hand.

"Why are you even here anyways? Did you come to start another fight or tell me everything I'm doing is wrong? Or are you here to scold me for losing my shit, 'cuz I already know what I did!" she yelled defensively.

"Will you shut up and listen?! You think I'd waste my free time on crap like that?!"

"It didn't stop you the last time, and frankly, I'm getting sick of it! If you want to punch me, then go ahead! Stop taunting me already and get it over with!"

"Like I said, I didn't come here to fucking do that!" he yelled back.

"Punch me, set me on fire, blow me away, rip my jaw off, whatever! Just do it, so I can get back to what I'm doing!"

"Why are you even saying that shit?! What the hell is going on with you?! Why, do you want to get hurt?!"

There was a pause. She bit her lip to keep it from trembling as her head dropped to the ground. "Whatever you have to say, can't it wait? I'm not myself right now… and I'm so tired of fighting with you all the time."

"If you'd only stop and listen to me, it wouldn't be like that."

She sighed. "I'm sorry… It's hard for me to face people when I know I've done them wrong."

"Huh?"

She turned and pointed over to the blood spatter on the ground. "I lost control many times, but I've never made anyone bleed that much…"

"That's your blood, Dumbass."

She looked back to him. "What?"

"You don't remember? Beast guy punched you in the gut and you threw it all up." He explained.

"So then, did I really hurt you guys?"

"Don't jump to conclusions so soon, idiot. You only cracked a couple of ribs and broke his arm."

"Who?" She asked, concerned.

"Sugar freak."

"And Shishida?"

"You didn't do anything to him, he's fine too."

"And what about you?"

Bakugo paused, curiously eyeing her. Why did she care so much? "Don't worry about me…"

"No, really, what did I do to you?" she pleaded, stepping a bit closer to be more direct.

"Like that matters now. Look at me, I'm fine. As if an extra like you could hurt me."

She continued to stare at him in silence, her eyes still begging for a straight answer.

He let out an annoyed sigh. "You threw a couple rocks at me and chased me all over the damn place. And you might've managed to… choke me a little."

Her mouth dropped as her brow creased. "I'm so sorry."

"I said don't worry about it. It's not like you actually did any damage to me."

Her look didn't budge, she felt the weight of guilt plummeting down in the pit of her stomach. That shouldn't have happened, but she gave in.

"But you still owe me some answers after all the shit you've caused me, so spill it. Why don't you remember what happened yesterday?" he asked, getting back on topic.

"When I'm in that state… I don't know. The best way I can describe it is that it's like a dream. Once you wake up, you only remember small fragments of it…"

"Must be some fucked up dream then. And it's only when someone hits your backside that it happens, huh?"

She shook her head. "Not always…"

"What do you mean?"

"…. There are other things that trigger me."

"Like?"

She felt an ache in her head from reliving the stress of it all. Pinching the bridge of her nose provided a small amount of relief, but she knew it would only grow the longer he was here. "Do I really need to explain it to you?"

"I'm the one training you, dumbass! I can't do anything about it if you don't tell me!"

She glared at him. "God, your attitude is so damn annoying…"

"Then answer the damn question already and I'll go! What the hell happened that made you like that anyways? Why do you even have these triggers?"

Akane silenced herself before she said any more. How did this turn from a simple training session into a conversation like this? She forbid herself from going back in her past, but he was so relentless. He was worse than Yuto, pestering her like this, and the sad part was that it was actually working. The angrier he got her, the more she wanted to get him to leave at any cost, including her personal information.

"Then tell me this - does it have anything to do with those scars?"

Her green eyes flicked up to him immediately in shock. "How do you know about that?"

Bakugo had to stop himself from telling her that he was eavesdropping back in Recovery Girl's office. He didn't want to come off as some kind of creep, but he oddly wanted to figure out what was wrong with this chick. "Your shirt ripped during the battle. How could I not see it?"

Without a word, she looked away, folding her arms to her torso subconsciously, as if she were trying to conserve the small amount of decency she had left. It was clear that she wasn't going to talk about it. Whatever was going on, he figured that it was too personal to explain. He just wanted a better understanding on the subject so he could focus on her training, but it was apparent that this whole conversation had spiraled out of control. He wasn't exactly planning on asking so soon, but his mouth ran faster than his brain this time. He decided not to pry any further.

"Look, if you don't want to tell me, it's fine. It's not like I really give a shit about it. I'm only doing this for the grade. What I came here for was to give you a heads up on how we're gonna put that trigger side down for good."

"You really think you can help me stop losing control?... Lately, you're the one who's been bringing it out of me." She snapped.

"Hey, I didn't make you do anything!" he snapped back.

"That's bullshit and you know it. I told you, I can't control what I do when it happens."

"You still have a choice to get away from everyone before it happens!"

"What did you think I was doing?! I was doing fine out here by myself before you came along!" Akane projected loudly.

"If you want to be a hero, you can't just hide from everyone forever, idiot! You gotta deal with that shit head on!"

"I'm not strong enough to face my demons, okay?!"

"That's bullshit!" He pointed over to the massive, cracked rock. "If you're strong enough to do that, you can get through it."

"That side of me is the strong one, not the me right now. That little sidenote in your evaluation book, that I was actually improving, you wrote that after the fight, after you got to see firsthand the kind of monster I really am. I could've killed you. Even if it makes me stronger, that doesn't mean I'm getting better with the training." Her bottom lip trembled as her walls started to break down. It was worse finally saying it out loud.

Bakugo was quiet for a moment before he spoke again. "Is that what you think? If so, you're an even bigger dumbass than I thought. I'm not the guy who wastes my time lying about shit like that. I meant what I wrote, and that was before all that shit went down, so don't go assuming the wrong thing. Everything you've done so far was all on you."

Akane felt her brow lift in astonishment at those words. All this time, she had been completely wrong about him. Kirishima was right, he did care, at least a little bit. How could she be so stupid?

"I'm sorry… You really think you can help me with these episodes?" she asked, finally relaxing herself.

"Yea. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will. I mean, besides therapists…"

Perhaps she calmed down too soon because she glared at him for merely mentioning it. "I'm not going back to that."

To get her back to serenity, Akane took a moment to look at her phone. Uh oh! Her timer never went off. It was almost an hour late from the time it was meant to.

"Oh shit!" She quietly exclaimed. She immediately turned on her heels to take a few steps back. "Sorry, but can we please talk about this later? There's somewhere I have to be and I need to leave, like right now."

"Hey, you better not be blowing me off again! We're not done talking, dammit!"

She let out an annoyed huff of air. "Then I guess you're gonna have to come with me."

"Like hell! Get back here!"

She took a few more steps backwards towards campus, completely ignoring him. "If you let me leave now, I'll buy you something nice and bring it back."

"Hahh? No!" What's with her all of a sudden?

"Then come with me and you can tell me on the way. I seriously need to go now. Just come on!"

Her body got smaller as she continued to walk off, not bothering to wait for an answer. Before he knew it, she disappeared within the trees. Bakugo growled in the back of his throat. That annoying little shit. She should be grateful that he was even giving her the time of day. What the hell was so important that she had to go to? There was only one way to find out the answer to that.

"Dammit…" He cursed aloud as his feet moved on their own to catch up to her.

It didn't take long for them both to get back to the dorms. The other students that remained had just gotten up from sleeping in. The red head jogged through the common space over to the hallway that led to the elevator. She probably needed to go up to her room to grab some clean clothes and whatever else she needed to bring. Bakugo followed her in the hallway and stood by the emergency exit. Once the door dinged open, she stepped onto the platform and was gone.

At this point, he didn't know if he should bother continuing their conversation or if he should put it off until they were back in class on Monday, like she wanted. Of course, he could just wait until she got back from whatever it is she was rushing for, but he had planned to go back home today. It was part of his weekly routine, stay in the dorms during the week and come home on the weekends. The only other times that he actually stayed were when Kirishima planned for them to go do something or hang out, and even then, it was only when he kept pestering him about it. Then again, Bakugo only caved because his mom's constant nagging. If he went home now, it would still be the same back and forth bickering with his mom. Taking that into account, tagging along with Hattori seemed to be less excruciating.

After a few minutes, the elevator dinged open again and she came out sprinting towards the doorway. She was still dressed in her workout clothes, but this time she had a small backpack tossed over her shoulder. He met her gaze and she paused.

"Give me ten minutes." She gestured before leaving again.

Bakugo scoffed at her. If she was in such a hurry, why make him wait? If he didn't have anything better to do, he would've left already. From the sound of it, she was expecting him to go, not that it really mattered for him. Taking his phone out, he glanced at the time and then proceeded to check his social media.

'Let's see if you really mean ten minutes.' He thought.

His thumb scrolled through all the latest posts. There were several more villain attacks, but not any as major as the media deemed it to be. His classmates posted a few pictures and updates on the stuff they were doing for the weekend, nothing really exciting enough to catch his attention though. The only things that were somewhat entertaining were a couple of memes from an old kids show he used to watch. Every once in a while, he looked back to the clock. She had three minutes to go. He figured that if she were like all the other chicks in his class that took forever getting ready, he would have a good enough reason to ditch her and not feel guilty about it. But he didn't have anything else to do.

"Hey, you ready?"

Bakugo changed his focus away from his phone to the newly dressed Hattori. Her hair was wet from the shower, and her workout attire was switched to a normal outfit of ripped jeans, a dark deep V top with a matching black leather jacket, and biker boots. She looked about the same as she was in her hero costume, but it was weird seeing her so casual. Just like every other classmate, he saw them every day in uniform. It was only when they were out of class that they were free to wear what they wanted. He didn't figure her for that type of style.

"Let's go." She nodded off to the exit.

He quickly checked the time again. She only took nine minutes. At least she owned up to her word. Akane went to move around him but was stopped when he gripped onto the sleeve of her jacket.

"Hang on."

Instinctively, he tugged her arm for her to follow him. He let go once he caught glimpse of his classmates strolling around the common space but gestured for her to keep moving. They walked into the kitchen and Akane couldn't wrap her head as to why he wanted to stop here, that is, until he walked straight to the First Aid cabinet. He pulled out a few alcohol wipes with some gauze and tape.

"Come'ere." He said.

As instructed, she approached him and allowed him to take her hands. He opened the wipes and went over her calloused knuckles. She hissed, flinching at the sting, but he managed to grab her wrist to hold it in place.

"Quit fighting already."

She tried to relax herself and let him finish. The alcohol started to feel a little soothing on her skin. He then opened the gauze and ripped it into two strands before placing them over her wound. He secured it tightly with the white medical tape and he was done.

"Thank you." She whispered to him. Honestly, she didn't expect him to do something like this for her. It was actually kind of nice of him.

His eyes flicked back to her after he tossed the stuff in the trash. The edge of her lip curled a smile that sent an unsettling feeling down in the pit of his stomach. He immediately looked away and stuffed his hands in his pockets, fiddling with the edge of his sleeves. "Sure…"

"Let's go." She said, and with that, they casually walked back to the hallway and pushed the door to the emergency exit. Neither one of them wanted anyone to get the wrong idea about them, so the offset door was the best solution. She held it out for him to pass through and together they headed in the direction of the U.A. main gate.

"Hey, idiot. Where are we even going?" he asked.

"I have a name, you know…"

"Yea, so what? I only remember the names of those who earn my respect."

"Then I guess I should return the gesture, Pop-rocks." She mocked.

"What did you call me?!"

"Didn't you mother teach you to treat others exactly how you want to be treated?..."

"Ugh! Shut up! I can't believe I'm even wasting my time with you!" he exclaimed, balling his hands into fists under his jacket pockets.

"You didn't have to follow me, y'know… You could've said no."

"Yea-yea, it's not like I had anything better to do. Why'd you even bother asking me to come anyways?"

She was silent for a moment before she spoke again. "I guess I feel like I owe you…"

"Is this for me helping you clean your cuts?"

"Well sort of…"

"You shouldn't be doing that kind of damage to your body, idiot." He said in that same old frustrated tone. For once, Akane didn't mind it.

"That's part of it, but… I still feel bad about the fights from before. I'm sorry I didn't go all out like you wanted… and for hurting you yesterday."

"I told you to drop it already. You didn't hurt me, alright? Can't you get that through your thick skull?" he asked rhetorically.

"Still, I hate that I let myself lose control like that. I've actually been trying to find a way to make it up to you…"

"And you thought that dragging me out in the cold would do it?"

"Not exactly." She replied.

"You still didn't answer my question. Where are we going?"

"Oh, I pre-ordered the new shoujo manga for 'Love Bites'. They put it on hold for me, but I have to pick it up by noon, or else they'll have to sell it."

"You dragged me along for some stupid book?!"

"Weren't you the one who had something important to tell me?"

Bakugo pouted his lips with a scoff. He would never admit it, but she was right.

"And besides, I wasn't just going to the bookstore. I meant it when I said I'd make it up to you… So tell me how."

"Huh?"

"I don't want any bad blood between us. What can I do to stop that?... I could buy you something or take you somewhere?" she suggested.

Bakugo's brow creased. "You're saying you'll do whatever I want?"

"As long as it's something I can do."

He smirked. "Then I guess you're my slave for a month."

"Not that."

"Hey, you said – whatever I want." He ordered.

"No, you said that. I said – as long as it's something I can do... I'm not doing that." She corrected.

"What? You scared?"

"You make me miserable enough at training… I can only imagine what you'll do to me as a slave."

"Hey! Remember, you asked for it, freshman!"

"I know. Don't make me regret it… I meant something else." She said as she stopped to push the button at the traffic light. They waited with the other pedestrians to cross the street.

"If you want me to forgive you, you're gonna have to do better than some lousy gift."

"Okay, like what?"

"We'll go get your stupid book, but after that, we're gonna do what I want, your treat, and you better not complain! If it turns out to be a good day, I might consider putting aside all the shit you've caused me. First thing I want is a good meal. I skipped breakfast earlier 'cuz of you, so you're gonna treat me to some food. I'm in the mood for something spicy." His lips curled a deviant grin.
