But that didn't necessarily mean he was gonna win the final battle.
Of course, Megatron believed that his sheer numbers would be enough to trample the Autobots underfoot, steal the Space Bridge Pillars, bring Cybertron to Earth's orbit, enslave humanity to work on rebuilding Cybertron, and steal the Allspark to revive the planet and make himself twice as powerful should any more Autobots choose to stand in his way.
Oh, Megatron has no idea how wrong he really is.
The Decepticon leader has no idea what Cuervosplicer really has planned.
Megatron announces to his army, "Decepticons! The time for the final battle in our war with the Autobots is now upon us! We will never give in to Cuervosplicer's threat! We will trample him and all other Autobots underfoot! We will steal the Space Bridge Pillars and we will use them to bring Cybertron here so we can enslave humankind to rebuild our dear home! We will steal the Allspark and use it to revive our planet, make us all twice as strong, and bring about a Golden Age of Decepticons! We will achieve peace through tyranny! Till all are one!"
The entire Decepticon army chants repeatedly, "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!" "ALL HAIL MEGATRON!"
Even Starscream was chanting, although Megatron could tell Starscream doesn't really mean it. He knows his lieutenant all too well.
Megatron declares, "DECEPTICONS, TRANSFORM AND RISE UP!"
Starscream cries out, "I thought you'd never ask!"
Starscream and every Decepticon with a jet and helicopter mode – Blast Off included in this timeline – transformed to vehicle mode and took off into the air.
Megatron and all the other ground-bound Decepticons transformed to their vehicle modes and drove to the United States at maximum speed.
All the while, Megatron laughs maniacally as he remarks, "At long last, Cybertron will be born anew! And with the power of the Allspark soon in my hands, I will revive our home planet and seize my throne as the supreme leader of the Decepticons and the supreme ruler of Cybertron!"
Will Cuervosplicer's plans succeed, or will Megatron finally achieve victory for the first time in four million years?
