Transformers Dark Of The Moon: Cuervosplicer's Birthright.
Chapter 17: The Chicago Battle, Part 1.
(Author's notes: In this chapter, there'll be a brief, but long enough fight between Cuervosplicer and Shockwave again. Only this time, Shockwave will be the temporary winner.
Enjoy chapter 17.)
(Chicago, Illinois, Cuervosplicer's POV...)
I was driving with a deployment of Protectobot Scouts, Protectobot Warriors, Omnibot Scouts, Omnibot Warriors, Autobot Melee Warriors and Autobot Sergeants down the streets of downtown Chicago to rendezvous with Aerialbot Outpost 1.
Suddenly, we were met with the likes of Shockwave and his pet Driller.
I brought out my Corvuswing Ultra Combat Armor and I launched a barrage of bullets and rockets at Shockwave while my Autobot deployment fired miniguns filled with armor-piercing rounds at both Shockwave and the Driller.
Shockwave was peppered with lots of armor-piercing bullets and explosive rockets, but he somehow managed to survive all of that and he managed to shoot me down.
Putting my Combat Armor away for the time being, I engaged Shockwave in close-quarters combat, thankful that my invulnerability was now permanently godlike and therefore, not even the likes of Megatron or Shockwave can damage me.
Shockwave tried a roundhouse kick to my faceplate, but because of his mass, size and build, I managed to duck while executing a flying roundhouse kick that managed to draw some Energon.
Shockwave growled as he grabbed me and tried to stab me through my neck cables.
I held his blade in place as I remarked, "Optimus was right; you ARE as strong as you look! But I'M STRONGER!"
I made Shockwave miss as I twisted his left arm in an awfully bent pose, causing him to roar in pain.
But before I could continue, Shockwave recovered quickly and bashed me in the head with his AstroMag Cannon.
Even though I was undamaged, I was stunned, and unprepared for Shockwave's brutal fist-to-fist assault.
I tried the Batman Arkham game Cape Stun Beatdown, and even though it worked somewhat, Shockwave managed to force me off him and bashed me in the head several times. But I was still undamaged.
Of course, since I was completely winded, I called for a retreat.
Shockwave tried to pursue us, but I left behind several flash bang grenades.
They detonated and blinded Shockwave, giving us the opportunity to escape in vehicle mode without leaving so much as tire tracks.
We made our way back to Optimus, and informed him that Shockwave managed to best me this time despite the power boost my Combat Armor provides.
Optimus reminded me that even though Shockwave is one of the most powerful Decepticons, I still have my various superpowers, including my Mega Cataclysm.
I then realized that I had completely forgotten about that.
Soon, we had gotten word that Jetfire arrived bearing a gift: a decapitated and crushed underfoot Laserbeak.
Optimus remarked, "Nice job, Jetfire."
Jetfire did a spit to his right as he replies, "You really think so? At least you and your Lieutenant Commander know how to show their elders some respect and manners."
Jetfire looks at the downed Orbital Assault Carriers and says, "I still find it hard to actually believe... Cybertronians flying ships. Cuervosplicer, whatever happened to Cybertronian Fliers ruling the skies?"
I answered, "Um, long story short, several millennia passed since the Battle of the Primes, and over the several millennia on Cybertron, Seekers and Grounders had been multiplying by the thousands and millions respectively. That combined with the fact that Cybertronian Fliers these days no longer have the required Energon or capabilities of traveling to distant galaxies and combined with more and more Grounders than Seekers being built led to several inventors on Cybertron building ships to help our kind traverse the stars."
Jetfire hummed in thought as he started to contemplate my explanation.
It was based on what I know about the several million years passing on Cybertron since The Fallen's betrayal in terms of how and why Cybertronian Fliers are among the many that require ships to traverse the stars of this part of the multiverse these days.
Soon, I was sent with the Wreckers to distract Shockwave while Optimus went to retrieve his Jetwing Omega Combat Armor from his trailer since he was separated from it when Shockwave showed up earlier.
When the Wreckers and I converged on Shockwave's location, we barraged him with thousands of armor-piercing bullets and rockets respectively.
Despite Shockwave's pathetic attempt of using a car as a shield, we managed to somewhat damage him before he fired a shot at us, forcing us to fall back.
I went to the building where I knew Epps and his crew was supposed to prepare to shoot down the Control Pillar. The reason why I went to them is because we need all the help we can get.
I found Epps and his team on one of the top floors and I made sure to help them get to ground level.
Soon, Shockwave came with his Driller, and Optimus came onto the scene to kill the Driller.
As the whole thing played out in slow motion – because of my super speed and accelerated perception abilities – I got Epps and his team to safety before rejoining Optimus with my own Combat Armor.
We both fired barrages of machine gun fire and rockets before I eventually fired my Energon Harvester Shotguns at it multiple times.
Then Optimus finally decapitated the Driller while I dealt with Shockwave.
I simply summoned twelve additional arms and shot at Shockwave multiple times with my various guns to wear down his armor.
My final shotgun blast damaged Shockwave so bad that his eye was dangling by its wires out of its socket.
Optimus came in and brought out his knuckle dusters.
He punched Shockwave's chestplate so hard that part of his abdomen shattered.
Optimus executed Shockwave in the same manner as the original timeline.
Optimus went off on his way while I replicated the schematics of Shockwave's AstroMag Cannon and his arm blade for my own use.
As for the rest of the Autobots, they came to me with multiple Decepticon prisoners.
To be continued...
(Author's notes: In the next chapter, there'll be Decepticons being executed and/or transported to Cuervosplicer's specially-made Decepticon Prisons.
See you all in chapter 18.)
