Chapter 40.
(Scott POV)
We were waiting for Tom coming out of Jeffries Office. As he came out.
"Yes," Shan said.
As we headed out.
"I'd like to thank my resident artist and handwriting forger, My Scientific Advisor and of course my Mum's hospital stationery, Thank you Mum," Tom said.
"You'd better hope that he doesn't mention this to her," Shan said. "If they find out you intercepted an official school letter and faked a reply you'll be in right trouble,"
"What is that?" Shan said.
"You have got to be kidding me," I said. As we saw the Kays meditating.
As we then headed in as I pulled my arm around Jana as she cuddled into me. As we went and sat down. Eventually Jeffries finally got here.
"So this is an important time for you lot," Jeffries said. "From now until exams, Classes will be devoted to revision and study skills, What you do during this period could radically affect your grades, So stay focussed, Work hard and stay calm,"
"Sir you try keeping calm with a mad boy like Tom pestering you," Kay said.
"Alright that'll do, you three stay behind after registration please," Jeffries said.
"We haven't done anything," Kara said.
"That's not fair," Katrina said.
As the bell rang and we headed out.
"Don't let it get to you," Shan said.
"Give it a few days," Jana said.
"Tom kicked a ball at my face," Kay said.
"Yeah, Well, It's Tom I wanted to talk about, Actually," Jeffries said. "Look I know that Tom hasn't been his usual self lately, But what I'm interested in is not just what is not right, But anything really unusual,"
"Well, Tom has been a nightmare," Katrina said.
"And he used to be so nice," Kara said.
"And Kay used to fancy him so much," Katrina said.
"Katrina," Kay said.
"He just went loco," Katrina said.
"Thinking he's the bee's knees, all big and clever," Kara said.
"And when he freaked out like that," Katrina said.
"Kay could have been seriously hurt," Kara said.
"I wasn't though," Kay said.
"Kay, Sweetie you don't have to defend him any more, You're the victim here," Kara said.
"Yeah," Katrina said. "I think she's got that Stockroom Syndrome,"
"Look, Kay what I'm interested in is, have you ever seen anything in Tom's eyes," Jeffries said.
"That's a little bit personal sir," Kay said.
"No, Not like that," Jeffries said. "Anything well a medical symptom, or for example, I don't know, Tom's eyes glowing or changing colour,"
"He must have seen it," I said.
"Sir I think you should come along to one of our yoga sessions, The stress seems to be getting to you," Kara said.
"Alright Girls, Off you go," Jeffries said. As we started to move too.
As we got to the next class as Jana and I sat down.
"You review your notes on geographical and geological features since there's always at least one question," Parrish said.
"When did your eyes change colour," Rhyd Whispered.
"I don't know," Tom Whispered "You lot never notice so how would I,"
"It wouldn't have been at school, Would it," Shan said.
"No I would say Kafe, Remember Tom run out and Jeffries was there," I said. "We saw him when you had your meltdown,"
"So what are we gonna do," Jana said.
"Nothing," I said.
As there was a knock on the door and Jeffries came in.
"Sorry to interrupt Miss Parrish, Could I have a quick word with Liam, Please," Jeffries said.
"Sure, Liam, "Parrish said.
As he went out.
"Am I in trouble sir," Liam said.
"No, No, I just want to ask you a few questions," Jeffries said.
"About what?" Liam said.
"Tom," Jeffries said.
"They asking about you," I whispered to Tom.
"What are you asking me for, Sir," Liam said. "Why don't you ask, Scott, Rhydian, Jana, Shannon, They're his mates,"
Then Jana decided to pretend to take a funny turn. As she fell onto the ground.
"Jana," I said.
"What happened?" Jeffries said.
"She just fainted," Sam said.
"Jana," Parrish said.
"We should take her to see the school nurse," I said.
As Jeffries than nipped Jana.
"Ow," Jana said.
"That won't be necessary," Jeffries said. "Come on up you get Jana,"
As Jana did and Sat down again next to me.
"That's the reason, I'm asking you," Jeffries said as he and Liam went back out. "Someone outside his group. Someone with nothing to hide,"
"Hide," Liam said.
"If someone's in trouble, friends they close ranks to protect each other, But sometimes that's the worst thing to do, I want to help Tom but I need to get to the truth," Jeffries said.
"Truth about what, Sir," Liam said.
"That's where I think you can help me," Jeffries said. "So let's talk about what happened a while back, When you thought that Maddy Smith was a Werewolf,"
"Sir," Liam said.
"You saw something down there in those old mining tunnels didn't you," Jeffries said.
"It was just an animal," Liam said.
"With yellow eyes," Jeffries said.
"Yeah," Liam said.
"Are you sure it was an animal," Jeffries said.
"Sir are you saying Tom might be a werewolf," Liam said. "Sir, Are you,"
"No, No, Of course not, Get back to class," Jeffries said.
"That was an epic fail," Rhydian whispered.
"Not my fault," Jana said.
"What's going on?" Tom said.
"Jeffries thinks you're a werewolf," I whispered. "Same shit different day,"

As we got to the Dark room.
"We need a way to explain what Jeffries saw," Jana said.
"But without contradicting the letter," Shan said. "We don't want him getting suspicious about that too,"
"What could possibly explain yellow eyes," Rhyd said.
"Contact lenses," I said. "Coloured ones,"
"Scott's right, like the ones you get in joke shops at Halloween," Shan said.
"They're pieces of Plastic you put them into your eyes," I said.
"Ew," Jana said.
"But that's it though, Isn't it, you wore yellow contact lenses to give the Ks a fright for a joke," Shan said. "But they scratched your eyes which made you aggressive because of your hypoglycaemia which is what we said in the letter,"
"Yeah but how do we know he will believe that?" Tom said.
"He will if he sees you with the contact lenses in," Shan said.
"I bet Bradlington Party Shop sells them, I could get them after school," Rhyd said.
"You can do it tomorrow in Class," Jana said. "make it look as if you're playing a trick on us, Sorted,
"See. That wasn't so hard, was it," Rhyd said.
"Where are you going?" Rhyd said as tom got up.
"Speak to Kay," Tom said.
"Can't that wait," Shan said.
"Get off my back, okay, it's not easy hiding the truth from someone you want to be honest with," Tom said.

"How'd it go with Kay," Rhyd said as we meet up with Tom.
"Won't listen to a word I say," Tom said.
"Come on Guys, Let's go," I said putting my arm around Jana and Shan.
As we headed for home. As we got into my car. But, Rhyd was going to head there first and meet us at mine. As we started to drive back home.
"Jeffries is following us," Jana siad.
"What," I said.
"Don't Just act normally, Keep him on our tail," Shan said. "When Rhydian gets back we'll put on a show for him,"
As we pulled up home. Then I noticed something. As did Jana.
"What," Shan said.
As we got out and headed in.
"What the Fuck do you think you are doing, Let her go," I said.
"The serum you took, where is it," Victoria said.
As I grabbed my gun.
"Gone, there's none left," Tom said.
"And the device," Victoria siad.
"Burned it hell," I said.
"I don't believe you," Victoria said.
"I don't give a hell if you believe it or not. Now get off Ceri and Get the Hell out of my territory," I said.
"I expected better from you, Jana, You could have a bright future at Segolia," Victoria said. As Jana growls. "We'll take better care of you than these strays and rejects ever have, you need to pick a side. Now,"
As I pulled out my gun.
"I have picked a side. My Side," Jana said.
"You got 10 seconds to get out or I shot all of you dead," I said.
"Bring the Boy, We're leaving," Victoria said.
"Try it and you dead," I said.
Then Jana looked at the Window. Fucking Jeffries.
As he ran. As Victoria went after him.
"Deal with them, I'm going after her," I said. As I started to Chase her.
I catched up to her before she could do anything as I kicked her away hard. As well as the other 2.
"I warned you Victoria, this is my territory," I said. As Rhyd showed up and got the other 2. "Expect this isn't your Territory. Not Segolia's Territory. My Territory. My Say. You let him be, Or I end you right here and now,"
"Fine Deal with it, but if the truth gets out because you trusted the wrong person I won't be responsible for the consequences," Victoria said.
"Go on, Fuck off," I said. As she left.
As we headed back to mine.
"So Liam was right, Werewolves," Jeffries said.
"No. Will not fully off the mark. What did you see when you saw my eyes glow," I said.
"Red," Jeffries said.
"That's my werewolf side. My Alpha side," I said.
"Alpha," Jeffries said.
"The Leader of the Pack. The Only ones who can turn someone else. But it doesn't always work. but the real term is Wolfblood. What Some of the Werewolves are based on, We're not animal. We can control our wolf side. Well, Most do," I said.
"And all of you, Wolfblood," Jeffries said.
"Yeah," Jana siad.
"Tom and I aren't actually," Shan said.
"But I saw you, Your eyes were yellow like theirs," Jeffries said.
"It was a serum did it to him. It's gone," I said.
"I knew that letter was fake, Hypoglycaemia, really," Jeffries said.
"Jeffries, We're not the only ones involved, There are Wolfbloods worldwide," I said.
"Is that why Maddy left. Cora. Because of Dr. Whitewoods allegations," Jeffries said. "And Liam theories the treasure of the ancient wolf tribe, all those odd people claiming to be part of your family,"
"Pack is Family," I said.
"How could you not tell me," Jeffries said.
"Jeffries, Protecting this is everything," I siad.
"What if they'd transformed in the school and hurt someone," Jeffries said.
"They're not monsters, sir, Okay, They're pupil, like us," Tom said.
"Cheers Tom," I said.
"They won't hurt anyone, Rhydian, Scott Jana deserve the same chance as everyone else," Shan said.
"Right now, I more worried about Segolia, How did they know about this," I said. "And did they seriously think coming onto another pack territory was a good idea. Getting Chris back here, We may need to help,"
As Jeffries got up.
"Sir Where are you going," Rhydian said.
"I need to go home, Rhydian and I need to think about this," Jeffries said.
"Not until you promise to keep our secret safe," Ceri said.
"Mum," Rhyd said. "Don't."
"Mum," Jeffries said.
"Ceri's my real mum, She was in the same pack as Jana and when Jana's dad left. Ceri looked after her," Rhyd said.
"Ceri, Let him go, He has to decide for himself," I said.
As Ceri did.
"Jeffries. You always said I could tell you anything, This is the one thing that has be kept confidential," I said.
As he left.
"I suppose that's it then, We just have to wait and see," Jana said.
"Either he'll keep the secret," Shan said.
"Yeah, Or he won't," Tom said.
"And what do we do if he doesn't," Ceri said.
"Go home, Back to Beacon Hills, that's what we do," I said.

I got Chris coming back who is Bring Cora with him. Derek is keeping the others back there, just in case.
As Jana, Rhyd and I were waiting for Tom and Shan. When they got here.
"Well," Rhyd said.
"Well I spoke to Becca last night, Like you asked and she said she'd called Jeffries but he didn't answer," Shan said.
"So is that a good thing or bad thing," Jana said.
"Well, I spoke to Chris last night, He is on the way back with Cora," I said.
"I don't know, Alex was there, too, he told us not to panic," Shan said. "He said he can try and help us even if anything goes wrong, and he'll try and make sure that Victoria doesn't find out,"
"I don't think much gets past Sweeney do you," Rhyd said.
"What did he say about Dacia," I said.
"She got away somehow, he has no idea where she is," Shan said.
"Oh Look it's the incredible Sulk," Katrina said.
"Mr. Can't explain himself," Kara said.
"I don't know who you 3 do this, Lie after lie," Tom said.
"Cos we have no choice," I said. "Remember what I told you 2 right after you found about us,"
"Hunters," Shan said.
"Exactly," I said.
As we got there. But Jeffries wasn't here yet.
"Where do you think he is," Jana said.
As I was sitting next to her.
"Probably talking to someone in authority," Shan said.
"I'm getting Deja vu, Liam staring like that," Rhyd said.
"We do nothing," I said.
"So where's Jeffries?" Liam said.
"Don't know, counting his fossils," I said.
"Maybe he got stopped for speeding on his bicycle," Shan said.
"What's going on, He asked me about you," Liam said.
"Me?" Tom said.
"Yeah," Liam said. "Want to know what he said,"
"Possibly, Bullshit," I said.
As he finally got here.
"Settle, Settle everyone. my Apologies for being late, You too Liam, sit," Jeffries said.
"Sir, Kay wants to ask you something about Tom," Kara said.
"What about Tom," Jeffries said.
"It's about his behaviour sir, like what you asked us about, I mean he hasn't been expelled so there must be an explanation right," Kay said.
"I can't talk about personal matters, Kay," Jeffries said.
"But Tom said to ask you," Kay said.
"Is that true," Jeffries said.
"Yes sir, I mean, If you want to tell them, then tell them," Tom said.
"The Explanation Kay is that, I've had a letter from the hospital confirming that Tom was suffering from Hypoglycaemia, he wasn't really in control of his actions it caused a kind of Hyper activity," Jeffries said.
"Okay, Right," Kay said.
"So he's ill," Kara said.
"Not Really, but. Look I'm sorry," Tom said.
"You know my cat went hypo active," Katrina said. "Turned out it was just worms,"
As we went over to see Jeffries.
As We knocked and went in.
"Hi, Sir we just wanted to thank you for well, covering for us," Rhydian said.
"What are you talking about," Jeffries said.
"Well what you said in class about me," Tom said.
"But I have the letter from the hospital right here," Jeffries said.
"Well yeah, but after what you saw yesterday," Shan said.
"Saw," Jeffries said.
"With us and the Segolia people and," Jana said.
"I'm busy so if there's nothing else, please go to your next class," Jeffries said.
"Sir if you," I said as my phone rang.
"How many times have I told you about mobile phones in school," Jeffries said.
As we left.
As I answered it.
"Hello," I said.
"We not that far away meet you at yours," Cora said.
"Cora," I said.
"Think I was going to let you do this without me do you," Cora said.
As She hang up.
As Rhyd got a Call.
"Dad," Rhyd said.
"I'm Back," Gerwyn said.
