9. Chapter 9

Chapter 9.

(Chloe POV)

We made it out of that town and to the area where there was a warehouse like the one I saw as a kid. I go over and put in the code 11047. Which opens the door and I got in and found everything there.

"Ellie, Get him in," I said. Then She came in with Callus too and I closed the door.

"Wow," Ellie said. "What is this place?"

"Safehouse. But in a Warehouse. Dad set this up while he was still with the Airforce. He was knew that there maybe people coming after us, So he got these up and stock them up," I said. Moving to grab a medkit. which had Disinfected and stitches, And it had the piece of equipment Dad was talking about.

"How did you know the code," Ellie said.

"Saw Dad put it in once when this bloody thing started," I said. "After,"

"After Sarah," Ellie said.

"Yeah," I said getting Dad onto the couch there and onto his right side. Then started to stitch him up. "Ellie see that case over there bring it over," Which should have a hyprospray with Medicine to help him. I finished the one on his back and laid him down flat on his back to get the other one. But he wasn't moving.

"Here," Ellie said. Putting it down next to me.

I managed to finish stitching the other one then I moved and opened it but there was only a Medical Tricorder and hyprospray. I got the Hyprospray out and found it only got Morphine. But it will be enough to take the pain if he is feeling another. and activated it on Dad's left side to get it fully there.

"What was that?" Ellie said.

"Morphine," I said. "So it will take whatever he is feeling off," Then grabbed the Tricorder to make sure there was no internal Bleeding. Thank god there was none.

"What is that?" Ellie said.

"Tricorder," I said.

"A what?" Ellie said.

"Long story," I said. "But in the Airforce not long after he just got there. He got this ship full of advanced technology. This stuff being one of them. Dad taught me how to use it all,"

"Wow," Ellie said.

"We rest here for the night then packed everything up and get moving again," I said.

"But where," Ellie said.

Then I went and got out a map and looked at it. Then I saw it. "Here," I said.

"What is it?" Ellie said.

"It's a small town nearby an old Lakeside resort. We can get dad there in a couple of days. But we are going to need to find somewhere to sleep in shelter and keep Dad alive," I said.

"We find that before nightfall then," Ellie said.

"Okay then, that's the plan because we can't stay here," I said.

"Best rest up then," Ellie said.

"Go ahead I going to make sure there aren't anything out there," I said then moved over and opened the door and had a look around but nothing. I even pulled out that thing Dad called a lifesign detector and nothing apart from us. Then I went back in and closed it up tight. Then moved near Dad.

"Anything," Ellie said.

"Nothing," I said. "Its getting cold out there,"

"I can feel it from here," Ellie said.

"We almost in Winter time. But we need something to keep him warm," I said.

"I can pack everything here while you check out around here for something to keep him warm," Ellie said.

"Good. Get some sleep," I said.

Then I went over and got ammo for my Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle and bow. Then I went and got some sleep next to Dad.

"Come back to me Dad," I said. Before falling asleep looking at him.

The next morning. I was up and grabbed my gear for heading out. And I saw Ellie still sleeping. While Dad still hadn't woke up. But he was breathing. I move over placing my hand on his check. "Hold on, Dad, I'm not letting you go," I said. Then put my backpack onto my back and grabbed this hunting knife which would come in handy then I saw this metal cylinder. I once saw one once back in the one back home. I took it and found a switch and aimed at away from me and pushed it and this red sword looking light came out of it. I pressed the button again and then it was gone. I took it with me and headed out through a doorway which I had the key too.

Once out I looked at a place which would have some clothes for the winter and found this one old store called Mountain Warehouse and went in with my torch check around for any infected. Lucky there was none. Then found 3 rucksacks that people used to use for camping and grabbed them Put clothes in there For all 3 of us. Then grabbed so skin tight clothes for underneath our clothes and grabbed a couple of Coats for us in also. Which all went into 1 of them rucksacks. Then used the 2nd one for footwear. Like Boots and anything which will have good grip. Then I went back to the Safehouse where Ellie and Dad was but Ellie was still asleep then I took the last one and went to the set of house nearby and checked out the first one for infected. Which turned out to be clear. Then I started going through the cupboards looking for food. Manged to find some soup and Baked beans so I packed them up and went to check the other houses in the same order checking for infected and just packing any ford which was eatable. Once I got the set of houses done. I had a good supply of food which would do us for a while. Hopeful long enough to help dad recover. Then with that supply I headed back to Ellie and Dad which I used the key to get in and found Ellie watching Dad.

"Ellie," I said.

"Chloe there you are," Ellie said.

"Is?" I said.

"He's fine, Just sleeping by the looks of it," Ellie said. "What you get,"

"Got some good stuff, Some winter clothes food. But we need to get Dad in one of them coats," I said grabbing the bag and pulling the one I got for him out. Which was a nice, Crimson Red which suited his wolf side, Same with me since I got my Mum's Alpha side. I had it since Sarah died. True my werewolf side wasn't activate as much. Til after Hayden left was when it started coming hard. Good thing Dad was there to help me control it. I got Ellie to help lift Dad up so I can get his arms into the coat and zipped it up. Then laid him back down.

Then I went over and start to set out what to take with us. More Morphine, the med kit, whatever ammo was there for the guns we had and found another 2 of those cylinder laser sword things. Ellie came over and started to picked them. As I went over and unlocked the weapons locker. Where they was M4 Carbine AR, P90, G36C and MP5 which there was only 3 of them each which would be good and grabbed my bag next to Dad and hooked up my 3. Then did the same with Dad's then got the last hooked up to Ellie's which I was going have to show her how to use. But we managed to get everything in the backpacks and put onto Callus. Then I got Ellie to come with me and took the key and locked it after leaving a radio earpiece next to Dad if he woke up and I had another one in my Ear on his frequency.

"Where are we going?" Ellie said.

"Over here," I said taking her to an old shooting range which was mostly used for clay shooting. Then I got Ellie inside which had a fence around us then so we would see any infected. "Right stay here While I put these up," Which I said to her taking the Clay targets that were left and set them up then went back to Ellie and decided to teach her the P90 first. "Right, Here hold that,"

"What is it?" Ellie said.

"P90 Assault Sub-machine gun 50 bullet in the clip 1 in the chamber right see that lever," I said.

"Yeah," Ellie said.

"Pull it towards you as far as it will go then let it go," I said which she did nicely too. "Right now aim at the target with the Acog sight,"

"Okay," Ellie said.

"You see that arrow in the center," I said

"Yeah," Ellie said.

"That you aim point, Now pick one of those targets over there and show me it," I said.

"That one there," Ellie said pointing to the one of the left.

"Right now aim," I said. Which she does. "Make sure you got the shoulder stock on your shoulder," which she had. "Now take a shot,"

Then Ellie shoots but ended up being 3 bullets fired as she let go. But she hit the target.

"Wow," Ellie said.

"Not bad, But when you feel a shot go let the trigger go quickly, these aren't like pistols," I said.

"Guessed that," Ellie said.

"Right try again the on target on your right," I said.

Ellie shot it which on shot one bullet and she let go fast and it hit. "Fuck yeah," Ellie said.

"Good," I said. "Now get that back on your backpack and pass the next gun there," Which was the MP5.

"Okay, Now what," Ellie said coming back over with the MP5 who passed it to me.

"Okay, MP5. 30 in the clip. 1 in the chamber, Same Acog sight," I said letting her get a grip of the gun.

"It's lighter than the P90," Ellie said.

"On a P90 the Clip is on the top. MP5 has it right there," I said tapping the clip. "Now aim at a target and do the same with the trigger as you had with the P90,"

Then Ellie lined it up and shot the second one on the left even used one bullet.

"Okay, Now same again on the Right this time," I said.

Then lined that up and shot it also.

"Good. Now get that back on your backpack and pass the next gun," I said

Ellie goes and clipped on the MP5 to her backpack then bring over the G36C.

"Here," Ellie said.

"Alright, Now this one is G36C. 30 in the clip. 1 in the chamber. Same Acog sight," I said.

"Let me guess shot the other 2 on the outside," Ellie said.

"Yeap," I said passing it to her.

"Just like the MP5," Ellie said then lined it up and then shot both of the ones on the left and right,

"Okay, Good," I said. "Go,"

"Go clip it back on and bring the last gun," Ellie said already doing it. Then she brought over the M4 Carbine AR. "So what's this one,"

"M4 Carbine Assault Rifle, same with the MP5 and G36C. 30 in the clip and 1 in the chamber," I said.

"Let me guess, shoot the last 2 targets," Ellie said.

"Yeap," I said passing her it.

Then Ellie lined up with the last 2 targets and shot them like that last times.

"Nice, Clip it up and we'll head back," I said.

Ellie went over to her backpack to clip the M4 Carbine AR to her backpack and I grabbed mine and we headed back to the warehouse where Dad was. We didn't encounter anyone on the way back and I used the key to open it and we head in and close the door up behind us and I went over to check on Dad after setting my backpack down. I could still hear him breathing and his heartbeat is still a bit weak but still there.

"Let rest up, We'll going to head out tomorrow," I said.

"Alright," Ellie said going to where she slept before and I moved as close to Dad as I could laying next to him. Come on Dad wake up. Is what I was thinking before I fell asleep.

The next morning, We ate one of the cans of Baked beans and Ellie went to load the backpacks onto Callus and I went to check outside and there was nothing. No hunters or Infected. So I went back in and closed the door and put the key back where it was and then Ellie and I got Dad onto Callus making sure that he wouldn't fall off him. Then once Dad was secured on Callus Ellie got on and I went back to the garage door and got it open and check again for Hunters or Infected and nothing.

"It's clear, C'mon," I said.

Then Ellie came out and I closed up the warehouse door and locked it up then got Ellie to go behind Dad while I got in front of him and we started to head towards the place we found on the Map. Hopeful it is safe there.

We had been travelling for at least 2 hours.

"Bloody hell, It's cold," Ellie said.

"I know, Good thing we found those clothes but we going need to find somewhere soon. We got 3 hours til sun down," I said. "How's Dad,"

"He's cold. His face at least," Ellie said.

Then we ride for another hour when we found a old Hunter house.

"There," I said.

"What is it?" Ellie said.

"An old Hunting house," I said.

"Let's me guess stay here with these 2 while you check it out," Ellie said.

"Yeap," I said.

Once we were close enough, I got off Callus with my backpack and pulled out P90 and cocked it so it was ready to fire if I needed it and made sure that Ellie, Dad and Callus was nearby. Then I went in and found that the house was completely Empty. Not any Infected or Hunters and then I went back outside and over to Ellie.

"Right off," I said.

Then Ellie got off and I grabbed the reins and gently got Callus with Dad into the house and Ellie came behind us and closed the door.

"Anything out there," I said.

"Nothing," Ellie said.

"Right, Give me a hand getting Dad on that sofa," I said after seeing the sofa. Then we managed to get Dad onto the Sofa.

"There," Ellie said.

"Keep an eye on him, There's a bedroom over there," I said.

Then I went over to the bedroom and opened the door not seeing anything. But there was a bed with a cover over it. I go over and grab it and took it back into the main room and put it over Dad making sure he was well wrapped up.

"He getting warmer," Ellie said.

"Good, Come on we need to get that clothing on us, The winter part is just started and from the look of it. It will be a cold one," I said. Grabbing the bag which had winter clothes that I got for Ellie and I since Dad had his coat on him but we were going to need to get him into those clothes soon. We can do that when we get there. Ellie grabbed the skin tight clothes out.

"What are these?" Ellie said.

"Skin tight. There are good for warmth. Best get those on first," I said getting mine out and got out of my clothes and put on Skin tight bottoms first and then the Skin tight top. And I see Ellie already in hers.

"These are tight," Ellie said.

"I know but right now they are good to keep us warm," I said. Then I grabbed the pair of Black Snow boarding Trousers.

"What are these?" Ellie said.

"Snow boarding Trousers, they will keep the snow out," I said. Putting them on then grabbed the Purple Jumper and put it on then grabbed my Purple Snow boarding coat and put it on.

"How I look," Ellie said.

I see her in her Winter Clothes.

"Good," I said.

"That's it good," Ellie said.

"They made for winter not to look good," I said.

"I know, but," Ellie said.

"You the same as you would of been on those," I said pointing at her other clothes which were now on the floor with mine and I grabbed them and out them into the backpack.

Then I went and grabbed a mattress and pulled it into the room with Dad and set it next to him. Then went in and grabbed the pillows and another cover I found in the cardboard. Then I went over the door where I knew we were going to have to barricade it.

"What is it?" Ellie said.

"We need to barricade this, So nothing can get in," I said.

"What about that other Sofa," Ellie said.

"Yeah," I said then Ellie and I got it into place and I tried the door and it don't move. Not even an inch.

"That will do it," Ellie said.

"Yeap," I said.

"I'm hungry," Ellie said.

"Me too," I said.

Then I grabbed the other backpack and got the Gas cooker out and set it up and 2 tins of Baked beans then put them in which started to cook.

"Beans again," Ellie said.

"Better than nothing," I said. "Just wish there was bread that was eatable,"

"Well, I don't see any," Ellie said.

Once the beans were cooked and Ellie and I got ours I turned off the cooker and was waiting for it to cool down.

"As much as I hate having the same thing they are nice," Ellie said.

"I know, I got other kinds but Keep them for last," I said.

"What are they," Ellie said.

"Beans and Pork Sausages," I said.

"That would of been nice," Ellie said.

"Well like I said save the best of last," I said.

Once we finished and got them washed up. The cooker was cold and I packed it away then checked the window again before going over and getting into the mattress next to Dad. Ellie got at the far end and we covered ourselves with the cover I found. After we blow out any candles we had lit for light. I had my pistol near me in case something or someone tried to get in.

The next morning I awoke up and nothing tried to get in last night and never heard a noise once I woke up. I got up and went over to the window and was looking for anything nearby. Hunters or Infected. Lucky though nothing. Even used the Tricorder and it couldn't detect any lifesigns nearby other than Ellie and Dad. I went over to Dad and scanned him too. There wasn't any internal bleeding. But the wound will soon get infected if I can't any antibiotics then soon Dad going to die. While I was waiting for Ellie to wake up and had a look around the house to see if I could find any. But nothing. Then I went back to the map and found that we were at least one more day if we could get as far today.

Once Ellie got up and we got Dad onto Callus again we headed out and continued towards the Resort. I was actually not that bad now that we had our winter clothes on. Dad was alright too.

Good thing that there was no hunters or Infected again. But we were going to be careful near the resort. Since infected could still be around.

We were at least 6 hours from sun down.

"He is starting to get cold. His face," Ellie said.

"Alright, Start looking around for anywhere we can use for shelter," I said.

"But we got another 3 hours before we need to stop," Ellie said.

"I'm not risking Dad for that, Start looking around for any shelter," I said.

"Alright," Ellie said.

After another hour.

"Hey, Over there," Ellie said.

I looked where she was looking at and found House still intact there. We went over and I got off.

"Same again," Ellie said.

"Yes, Stay with them," I said taking my P90 off my backpack and went into the house and Checked both floors and the basement for Infected and nothing. So I went back near Ellie and give her the signal to come over and She put Callus into the garage there. And we Got Dad upstairs one the main Bedroom where We could sleep there with him.

Once Ellie and I got Dad set down.

"Man he is getting heavy," Ellie said.

"I know," I said. "Just hope he wakes up soon. I going to make sure that there aren't any infected or hunters around," Then headed down stairs and headed outside with the Tricorder and P90 and went out checking around the house and making sure that there was no Hunter which the Tricorder could detect but I have no idea if it can detect infected. But there was nothing around no damage to the house. So I headed in and moved the sofa in front of the Door and headed up and Blocked the back door.

"He tucked in up there," Ellie said after I finished blocking the back door.

"Good, There's nothing around," I said.

"Guess we are having the same again to Dinner," Ellie said.

"Yeah, Check the cardboard's there for anything we can use on the table," I said.

"On it," Ellie said.

Then I went upstairs and checked around and found the bathroom cardboard and checked it and didn't find any antibiotics. Damn it. we need to find some within the next 2 weeks. But I did find some painkillers. Then headed down where Ellie found some cans of food.

"How's that," Ellie said.

"Yeah, they're good," I said finding another 12 Cans of Baked beans ad Pork sausages. 8 of them. The other 4 just Baked beans. 12 Cans of soup and 12 Cans of Fruit. "This will do us for a week," I said.

"Better than nothing," Ellie said. Rubbing her head.

"What is it," I said.

"My heads going a bit," Ellie said.

"Here take these 2," I said getting out the Painkillers.

"Okay," Ellie said taking them and taking water too the swallow it.

"Better," I said.

"Not yet," Ellie said.

"It will take time," I said.

"I'll grab the bag," Ellie said heading up while I cleared the table a bit as Ellie placed the bag next to me. "There,"

"Nice," I said grabbed the cooker and put most of the cans apart from 2 cans of Baked beans in the bag and started to cook them up. "How's the head,"

"Better for now," Ellie said.

"Good," I said.

Then we ate up as the cooker cold down. Then we used some water and washed up the cooking gear and plates then put them back into the bag along with the Cold Cooker. Then we checked the door again for anything. Infected or hunters around which turn out to be none again. Then we blow all of the candles out and went next to Dad and I laid down and went to Sleep just as Ellie laid down also.

But halfway through the night I got woken up because of the Full moon. Since it was tonight. I looked over to Dad who I thought had woken up but he didn't. Then I heard Ellie. She was groaning for some reason.

"Ellie are you okay?" I said.

"I, I Don't know," Ellie said.

"What's wrong?" I said.

"My head, hands everything hurts," Ellie said.

"Here look are me," I said.

"Why?" Ellie said.

"Just look at me, Ellie," I said.

Then Ellie turns around and looks straight into my eyes with her Eyes but they were glowing. Yellow. Like mine used to before they came red. Then I looked at her hands. Her nails were claws.

"What's happening to me?" Ellie said.

I grabbed her and pull her against me. "That better?" I said.

"A lot yeah," Ellie said. "What's happening to me?"

"Ellie, When is your birthday?" I said.

"Tonight, Why?" Ellie said.

"Why did you not say anything," I said.

"Didn't matter at the time, Now tell me," Ellie said.

"Your 15 now," I said.

"Yeah, What has that got to do with anything," Ellie said.

"Ellie, I know now that it's true, Dad is yours too. It's one of the reason you against me helps a lot, Your Mum, Hayden. Dad and I. We are werewolves. And since you were born from Hayden and Dad you have the gene in you. It only activates when you are 15, Or if you are seriously hurt," I said. "But you just turn 15 tonight when it is a full moon, Your going through your first shift,"

"Shift," Ellie said.

"You are shifting into you werewolf side for the first time," I said.

"What can we do to stop it," Ellie said.

"No. Don't try to stop it, It will kill you, Let it happen, Let it in, Ellie, Once your full shift finishes your be fine," I said.

"How?" Ellie said.

"It happened to me too," I said. "Dad helped me control it,"

"Control what," Ellie said.

"My wolf side, listen to me, Ellie, I know you just found out that we're sisters and Dad is your Dad. But you need to focus on us, Or me right now," I said. "Breath in my scent,"

"Your what?" Ellie said.

"Scent, Just do it," I said as Ellie started to breath in from her nose and she was letting go a bit. "Better,"

"Yeah," Ellie said. "What else is coming,"

"Why?" I said.

"My mouth is going mad," Ellie said.

"Oh that's your fangs," I said.

Then Ellie looked up at me. "What," she said.

"Fangs," I said. "These," As I let mine out. "Plus you kind of got these too," Let my eyes glow.

"Wow, Why are they Red," Ellie said.

"I'm an Alpha, Like Dad, I got it after Sarah died. You know yours are glowing too," I said.

"What. What colour are they," Ellie said.

"Yellow," I said.

"What is with the different Eye colour's," Ellie said.

"Red, It means you are a Alpha. Like mine and Dad's," I said. "Yellow, It means your a Beta, Or an Omega. In your case, Beta. Then there is Blue,"

"Which is," Ellie said.

"Blue is when you take a life. Or kill to save someone from suffering," I said.

"You sound like you know," Ellie said.

"I do, My Uncle Derek did it once for a girl he loved but when someone tried to give her this, Werewolf. Her body was rejecting the bite, It was killing her slowly. Uncle Derek Killed her to stop her suffering any longer," I said.

"Bite," Ellie said.

"Something only Alpha's can do, Like Me and Dad," I said. "But Mine and Dad's were work all the time," I said.

"Why?" Ellie said.

"Dad and I are what are called True Alpha's, Dad was the first one in our pack, Then it was Mum. Now Me," I said. "Then there are just normal Alpha's Those that are born or Kill another Alpha to get it. But since I was born from 2 True Alpha's mine is that too. True Alpha's Bites work all the time, While Normal Alpha's it goes 50/50. That either the Body takes the bite or rejects it,"

"How did. OW!" Ellie said grabbing her mouth.

"Easy, Let them out," I said. Then she stopped shaking and relaxed. "There, It's over," Then Ellie looked up at me and she was normal.

"What happened, Where?" Ellie said looking at her Hands.

"They gone back into you body, I'll teach you how to use and control it," I said.

"Okay," Ellie said.

"What were you asking before your fangs finally came out," I said.

"I was saying how did Mum get it," Ellie said.

"Dad," I said.

Then Ellie looked over at Dad. "Why did, Dad give her it," Ellie said.

"That's the first time I heard you call Dad, Dad," I said.

"Shut up, We only know for real that he is my dad," Ellie said. "Anyway,"

"Hayden, was hurt badly by a group who called themselves the dread doctor, There were making people like us without the bad side to it. Hayden was one of them that was given the same as you and I. But then one day her body started to reject it. It was slowly killing her. At that time Hayden was going out with Uncle Liam at the time, Uncle Liam asked Dad to give her the bite," I said. "Dad gave her it, It saved her life. Maybe that was when Hayden started to have feelings for Dad. But Dad was with Mum. Allison. Mine and Sarah's Mum. She died not a month after I was born. I never got to know her myself, Just what Sarah and Dad told me, Even showed me some of their photos of her. I'm basically a split image of mum,"

"Did you know," Ellie said.

"Know Aunt Hayden. Yeah, Pack made us family. Even if we weren't connected by blood. When Dad found her in the Boston QZ, He started to come back. After Sarah one thing that was going through his head was keeping me safe, to hell with everything else," I said. "When we found her, I was glad we had some pack back. But Uncle Liam was dead by the infected. Apparently our Werewolf healing doesn't stop whatever this thing really is,"

"We can worry about that later, Right now let's just get Dad to that Resort, How is he," Ellie said.

"He's fine but he needs antibiotics, To kill any infection in the wounds, But I haven't been able to find them where we have been the last 2 places," I said.

"We could find some at the resort," Ellie said.

"That's what I was thinking too," I said. "You know, Dad going to be happy when he knows,"

"About me," Ellie said.

"Yes, I know, I am," I said hugging her. "I finally got you,"

"Yeah, Me too," Ellie said. "All this time, I thought no one cared. Turns out I have been with my family since we started this run,"

"Yeah, Come on, Let's get some sleep. We should be at the suburb near the resort by 3 in the after noon," I said. Laying back down and Ellie laid down and snuggled into me.

"Night, Chloe," Ellie said.

"Night, Sis," I said Hugging her.

Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next day. I woke up and saw Ellie still sleeping on me, My sister. I finally found her. Now it is just telling Dad.

"Ellie," I said trying to wake her up. "Ellie wake up time we got moving,"

"Fine," Ellie said getting up and then we got everything on Callus then Ellie and I helped Dad onto Callus and then Ellie was up with our Dad. While I went and got the sofa away from the door and checked it out for infected or hunter which turned out to be a no, Again. Thank god, With Dad in no condition to fight right now.

"It's clear," I said as Ellie brought Callus out and then I got on and we took off.

We manged to get the the Suburb near the resort.

"Finally," I said. "Let's find a place,"

"We're not that far from the resort. Where don't we head further in just in case we get attacked," Ellie said.

"Yeah, Weapons out, Just in case, We don't know if they are infected nearby," I said.

Then we finally reach the end of the road at the other side of where the resort is. And there was a house in front of us.

"Do you see a garage," I said.

"There, At the back," Ellie said.

"Alright let's go," I said riding Callus over there and then got off and opened the garage door and went in to check it out for infected. Lucky there was none. So I headed back down to Ellie and got her and Callus in and closed the Garage door.

"Where we putting Dad," Ellie said.

"There's a basement with a street view, Just so we can see if they are any Infected or Hunters nearby," I said.

"Does it have a bed in there for him," Ellie said.

"No, Come on we put him on the sofa and get a bed down there," I said.

Then we got Dad off Callus and then we got him onto the sofa and I went upstairs and found one, So I pulled it off and took it out of the room and down to the Basement. Once I got to where Ellie was.

"Ellie, There's some covers upstairs bring them down," I said Taking it on down to the Basement and Ellie heading up there to grab them Once I got it down. Ellie got there too.

"Where you want them," Ellie said.

"Put them there till we get Dad down," I said.

Then Ellie out them down and we got Dad balanced between us and took him down gently to the basement and placed him down then grabbed the covers and put them over him.

Then Ellie and I went back up to the living room and found the front door locked. But we still put a sofa in front of it just to be safe. Then as Ellie checked out the house, I went back to the garage and got the door secure, So we can open it from the inside and no one from the outside can.

Then I grabbed the bags off Callus and rubbed him down.

"There you go boy, Get some rest, Your be safe here," I said rubbed his nose then grabbed the bags and took them to the living room. Then down next to Dad where we can grabbed them fast if we need to.

Then Ellie came down with what she found in the kitchen no doubt.

"Any antibiotics," I said.

"No, Checked the bathroom also. Nothing," Ellie said.

"We just have to look around then," I said.

"Yeah," Ellie said.

"We can do that tomorrow," I said. "Right now we could use a good night's sleep, after travelling like that,"

"Where are we?" Ellie said.

"With Dad," I said.

Then we went and got beans done for the night and ate them. Once we were finished and the cooking gear was cool we got them washed and then we headed down to Dad and got in next to him and went to sleep. Just before I went to sleep I checked for anybody or infected there. Lucky nothing.

Then next day when I woke up, Ellie was still sleeping so I got up and head a look around. Nothing again. Thank God. I then went and grabbed my Tricorder and scanned Dad again. His vitals are holding. Good. I got my gear back on after getting up as Ellie slept. Then I went and grabbed my gun which wasn't already clipped onto my backpack. Then I put my Pistol holster and headed out. I went and started to check the houses close to the safe house.

There was food and water. Some medical supplies like bandages, Alcohol, Painkillers, Morphine. But No Anti-biotics. I went to keep searching the other houses. I know that Ellie will keep an eye on Dad while I'm out.

I managed to search the house without any infected or Hunters.

(Ellie POV)

I woke up but I didn't see Chloe. But Dad was still laying next to me. Chloe's gear wasn't there. She must be away savaging supplies. I got my gear on just in case. Then I went up and check Callus who was still there. Meaning Chloe isn't going far. So I went back to Dad. My Dad. Just wish that Mum was here too. He was still breathing. Good.

"I know that this may take some time, But It looks like you found me after all Dad," I said but nothing. "Come on, Dad come back. I've lost Mum. I'm not losing you or Chloe. Dad," As I grabbed his hand in mine. I need you Daddy. Wow. that came faster than I thought. Then I moved over to keep an eye on the street for infected or Chloe.

But I didn't see anyone yet, thank god.

I must of been looking at it for a good hour or 2. When I saw movement.

So I grab my gun and got upstairs but stay near the basement if I needed to head down.

Then I heard the garage open and Callus but nothing else till the garage door closed and then the door opened right next to me. Then I heard movement come ing.

Then I force the door shut and aimed my gun at the person.

"Wow, Ellie, It's me," Chloe said.

"I thought it was hunters," I said. Lowering my gun.

"So would I. How's Dad?" Chloe said.

"Still breathing but hasn't woke up yet," I said.

"Right," Chloe said.

"Did you get any?" I said.

"Of what antibiotics," Chloe said. "No, I couldn't find any,"

"Where?" I said.

"Only the houses round here. But those are all clear now," Chloe said.

"So we have to go towards the resort to find some," I said.

"Yes, And if they don't have them, Then Dad's going to die," Chloe said.

"Then let's quit wasting time," I said.

(Chloe POV)

"What go out there, Ellie, I just go over everything house and nothing. The resort is at least an hour away. One of us has to stay here in case of infected or hunters," I said.

"Then who," Ellie said.

"Me, You stay and keep an eye on him," I said.

"When you going then?" Ellie said.

"Tomorrow, We need to sort these out, Then I'm going to teach you how to use your wolf," I said.

Then we went and started to sort of everything I managed to get Food, Water, Medicine apart from Antibiotics. But barely any ammo.

Then I took Ellie and started to train her in using the wolf side. Using her sense of smell, getting to use her claws, Training her to being able to use them to defend her self. Which she was doing where but she was losing control a bit.

"Why do I keep losing control," Ellie said.

"You need to keep us in your mind when you are using it. To keep control. Use us as anchor. It's a way to keep control," I said.

"Fine," Ellie said.

Then we went back and she was using it more and more but Ellie was in control this time round.

"It worked," Ellie said.

"Yeap, Come on that's enough for one day, Let's get something to eat," I said.

Then we went and got the food on, this time I managed to get some bread too, So I cooked I noticed Ellie disappearing for a minute before coming back.

"Still not awake," Ellie said.

"Hopefully, I'll find some antibiotics tomorrow," I said.

"I'm going with you," Ellie said.

"I need you here with Dad," I said.

"Yeah but we need to get some hunting for food safe what we can of that," Ellie said.

"Yeah but what about," I said.

"We've got the door sealed and the only way in is from the Garage and if I remember right infected can't even open those from the QZ," Ellie said.

"What about hunters, If have no idea if we have lost them," I said.

"We haven't seen them since the lab, Bet they went back to where they came from, We need to do this, Chloe," Ellie said.

"Fine," I said. "We're both go hunting on our way to the resort, There maybe find the antibiotics somewhere,"

Then the food was ready so we ate it. Then once we were finished. We cleared up.

Then we went down and fell asleep next to dad.
