Chapter 13.
Epilogue. (But not the end of this story)
Jackson.
(Scott POV)
We were outside Jackson, As our car broke down. While Ellie was looking at her bite mark as Chloe was with her as I checked the Engine.
"Damn, Looks like we're walking the rest of the way," I said.
"Should be a straight shot through here," Chloe said.
"Alright," Ellie said.
"Actually kinda beautiful ain't it," Chloe said.
"Yeah," Ellie said.
"It's nice for a change," I said.
"Heads up," Chloe said.
"Alright, Now watch your head going through," I said.
"Here got it," Ellie said.
As we go through a barb wire fence.
"Oh, really starting to feel my age now," I said.
"That has been coming for a while now Dad," Chloe said. "We never told you but Sarah, Dad and I used to take hikes like this, I think all 3 of us, would've got on. Sarah really would've liked you, I know She would've like you too,"
"I bet I would have," Ellie said.
As we climb to find a vista of Jackson in all it's springtime glory.
"Wow, Look down there, Just a little bit further now," I said. "Hold on, We got a ledge,"
"Give me a boost Dad," Chloe said.
As I boosted her over.
"Alright Sis, your next," Chloe said.
"What," Ellie said.
"I got you from back here okay," I said.
"I got you, Gimme your hand," Chloe said. As Chloe got Ellie up the ledge. As I got myself up.
"Alright, Come on," I said.
"Dad, Chloe wait. Back in Boston, Back when I was Bitten. I wasn't alone," Ellie said. "My Best friend was there. And she got bit too. We didn't know what to do. So she says Let's just wait it out. Y'know we can be all poetic and lost our minds together." I'm still waiting for my turn,"
"Ellie," I said.
"Her name was Riley and she was the first to die. And then it was Tess and then Sam," Ellie said.
"None of that is on you, Ellie," Chloe said.
"No, you don't understand," Ellie said.
"We struggled for a long time with surviving," I said.
"My way was staying with the only person I have left," Chloe said. "No matter what, you keep finding something to fight for, Now Dad and I have you now,"
"I know that's not what you want to hear right now, But its," I said.
"Dad. Swear to me, That everything you said about the Fireflies is true," Ellie said.
"I swear, Ellie," I said. "They are not getting away with that. We have another way we just have to get to it,"
"Okay," Ellie said. "Let's go,"
As we started to head down there. It took some time but once we got down we headed towards the town. Where We saw the wall.
"He wasn't kidding," Chloe said.
"Nope," Ellie said.
"Come on," I said. "We can finally rest after this,"
"Damn Straight, Dad," Chloe said.
As we got to the Gate.
"God Damn," Stiles said as we saw him up on the wall. Before heading off. No doubt down where the gate opened and Stiles Got us in and sealed up again. "You made it,"
"Yeah," I said.
"Come on, Some People will be glad to see you," Stiles said.
"What," Ellie said.
"Come on," Chloe said.
As we headed somewhere.
"What happened?" Stiles said.
"There was only one way they could get it," I said.
"How," Stiles said.
"They are going to cut into Ellie's head which would have killed her, Just to get a pissing Vaccine," I said.
"What," Stiles said. "Okay I know that's thought even though she is your daugh,"
"How did you know," I said.
"Lydia," Stiles said.
"That's what Chloe and her were talking about at the Dam," I said.
"Yeah, It's True right," Stiles said.
"Yeah, Hayden and me," I said.
"Come on, You are going to love this," Stiles said as we catched up with Ellie and Chloe as We went into the house. "OI. Look who's here," As we came around the Corner. To See, Tracey, Mason, Danny, Derek, Cora, Lydia, Kira, Corey, Jackson, Ethan, Isaac and Peter.
"Just where the hell have you lot been," I said.
"I could ask you the same," Derek said. "Who's this,"
"I'm a bit hurt you don't recognise me, Uncle Derek," Chloe said.
"Chloe," Derek said.
"Took you long enough," Chloe said before getting him.
"Bloody hell you've grown," Derek said.
"And you've gotten old," Chloe said.
"Just wait, It will happen to you also," I said.
"Not yet, Dad, Not yet," Chloe said.
As Chloe introduced Ellie to what was left of the Pack. Who took it well, Then Peter tried to go near Ellie, as Chloe warned him off. Chloe never liked Peter, Not sense she heard what he done. As Ellie backup and come over to me.
"What was that all about?" Ellie said.
"We'll fill you in later," I said. Pulling Ellie close to me as Ellie Snugged into me.
As we got together and Peter decided to leave for now.
"So what's the Plan then," Stiles said.
"We're going to SGC, Get to Voyager and head home, On the way the Doc can get the job done easier and Without getting Ellie Killed," I said.
"Good," Chloe said.
"I'm in," Derek said.
"Same," Cora said. As Did, Ethan, Jackson, Isaac, Corey, Danny and Mason.
"So when are we going to the mountain," Kira said.
"Not yet, Right now we are going need to get everything we can," I said.
"That will take about 6 months," Lydia said.
"I know, But we can use those Supplies," I said.
"Scott's Right, We have been started to decrease on Ammo," Tracey said.
"So want me to show you where you 3 are staying," Stiles said.
"Sure," Chloe said.
"Let's go," Lydia said.
As us 5 left that house and we went to a House which empty, as Lydia opened it.
"We got this all cleared out for you 3," Lydia said.
"Since when," I said.
"Not long after we ran into each other again at the Dam," Lydia said. "Knew you would come back,"
"It's nice," Chloe said.
"Lydia, Get us some maps, Then we can plan getting to safehouses," I said.
"I'll get them," Stiles said. Heading out.
"You think we can get everyone to Voyager," Lydia said.
"Yeah, How many here," I said.
"Roughly 600," Lydia said. "Including us,"
"Voyager can easily take that many," I said.
"What if we got more people, We can't just leave people behind," Lydia said.
"It would be a bit cripped but we can make it," I said.
"Let's hope," Lydia said.
Then the door opened.
"Got them," Stiles said.
As He brought the Maps over.
"We already got those 3 locations," I said.
"The one we went to went this started," Stiles said.
"One near the university after Dad got hurt," Ellie said.
"Then the one at Salt Lake, When we got there so we could get back here," Chloe said.
"Then we got here," I said.
"At still have some in this area," Stiles said.
"At least 3 in that area," Chloe said.
"How far?" Ellie said.
"At least 100 miles away," I said.
"That's the less distance ones," Stiles said. "We still got some in Beacon Hills,"
"Then that's where us 3 can head first," I said.
"You 3 just got here," Stiles said.
"The sooner we got it started, the sooner we can get to SGC and Get to Voyager," I said.
"At least wait a week," Lydia said. "As least you can plan the route, Even backup routes,"
"We managed to get these," Chloe said. As we brought out the Radios.
"At least we will be able to keep in contact," I said.
"How are we going to get them here," Ellie said.
"We do have a couple of vehicles," Lydia said.
"We managed to keep them up to maintain," Stiles said.
"Full of Gas too," Lydia said.
"At least we can pack up the stuff then," Chloe said.
"Alright, We head in 6 days to Beacon Hills get everything from there. Then get the stuff back here, We be able to do it in 1 run," I said.
"Then rest up," Lydia said. "The others can check weapons, ammo and supplies while you get some rest,"
"Not going to let that go are you," I said.
"Nope," Lydia said. As Stiles and Lydia left.
"Guess we are resting up then," Chloe said.
"Yeah," I said. "We are,"
"We could use it, Before we headed out again," Ellie said.
As I headed upstairs and found some clothes on the Bed With a on suite, Lydia. I went into the on suite and turned on the shower and not a minutes later, It was warm. So I got out of my clothes and closed the door and got into the Shower.
After I showered and got a shave. I changed into those clothes. Fitted me perfectly. As I headed down stairs. Where I found Ellie already down.
"Where's Chloe," I said.
"Still in the shower," Ellie said.
As I sat down as Ellie moved over and snugged into my side.
"What's wrong?" I said.
"Nothing, just, I thought they would have just drawn blood from me, But that," Ellie said. "I can't believe she would of let that happen,"
"She did," I said. "Heard her say it. Even on a Tape recorder,"
"I can't believe she was going to take me away from you 2," Ellie said. "Just after I found you,"
"Hey, I wasn't going to let that happen," I said.
"I know, But," Ellie said.
"Doesn't matter anymore, Okay," I said.
"Yeah, Dad," Ellie said.
"Good," I said.
That was when Chloe came down.
"Of course you both beat me down," Chloe said.
"Come on, Let's get our gear and get it cleaned up," I said.
As we got our gear. And started to clean up all of our weapons. Which took some time. Then we managed to plan a way to get home to Beacon Hills.

We rest for good 3 days, But we wanted to go and do this thing. Lydia wasn't really happy to see us 3 go but, She wasn't going to get in our way. And got us a ride. As we loaded up some supplies, Ammo, Food, Meds, As we got into the car and headed off towards Beacon Hills.
We were travelling for a good 2 days now. It's our third day driving as we were closing in on Beacon Hills.
"Hey, Dad," Chloe said.
"Yeah," I said.
"I want to make a stop somewhere before we leave," Chloe said.
"You mean that, don't you," I said.
"Yeah," Chloe said.
"What," Ellie said.
"Where we buried Sarah," Chloe said.
"Oh," Ellie said. "Sorry,"
"It's fine," Chloe said.
"So how much longer," Ellie said.
"We are almost there, We sure head for the far one in first," I said.
"Good thing we brought those lightsabres then," Chloe said.
"Save ammo as much as we can," I said.
As soon as we hit the area of the town. As slowed down as slow made our way to the far safehouse first. Which we managed to get there without seeing any infected or hunters. By the time we pulled up at the safehouse I reversed us round so we could drive for the next safehouse quick if we need to.
As we parked.
"Got it," Chloe said as she got out and put the code in as the door opened. As Ellie and I got out and had the boat open right to go. "Doors open," Chloe said.
"Alright, let pack this stuff then," Ellie said. "I'll start with the Ammo,"
"I'll get the Weapons," Chloe said.
"Then I'll get the Med supplies," I said.
As we went and started to pack everything in bags. As soon as I got all the Medical supplies into the truck, I went back in and got everything else in there. Equipment, Generators. Just as I got the last of the equipment in So did Chloe and Ellie, With the Weapons and Ammo.
"That's everything, Dad," Ellie said.
"Alright let's seal that up and head for the next one," I said.
"I got that Dad, you 2 get in," Chloe said as she went and put the code in to seal it. As Ellie and I got into the truck. As Chloe came and got in. "All done,"
"Let's go," I said as we headed for the second location, Which was near Derek's apartment building.
Which we managed to get everything from there too. But we found some of our weapon armoury in that on with some of Voyager's weapons. A couple of Phasers, Type 1 and 2. Phaser Compression Rifles, Phaser Sniper Rifles and the new Phaser Shotguns which was just made just before I left the Airforce.
"Some of these weapons are cool," Ellie said.
"Once we train you up would can use then," I said.
"Dad," Ellie said.
"No," I said.
"Dad's right, Ellie, We need to train you up on these just like I did with the P90," Chloe said.
"Fine," Ellie said. "But I so wanna try this one," As Ellie pointed to the Phaser sniper Rifle.
"Let's get to the last one, And get back to Jackson," Chloe said.
"Then we can train you up in the tower," I said.
"Then let's go," Ellie said.
As we got into the Truck and drove to the last Safehouse which was close to home. As we got close to it, We stopped and got out.
"Where are we?" Ellie said.
"Home," Chloe said.
As I headed on in. As Chloe followed then Ellie.
"This was were you were before any of this happened," Ellie said.
"Yeah," I said.
"It's nice, Dad," Ellie said.
"It was," I said.
As Chloe left upstairs and I headed for my old room. Where I Found a few things that I wanted back Which I managed to pack up and then head for the truck and put it in as Chloe came and done the same thing. We ended up grabbing a few other things and put the in also. Then We left and headed for the Last Safehouse we had in Beacon Hills. Which we got the rest of the Weapons, Meds, Supplies and Equipment.
As we sat off again but to where we buried Sarah. As we got there, Chloe and I left and headed straight there. As we saw the ground wasn't the same. Grass was over it. But it still looked the same.
"I miss her Dad," Chloe said.
"I miss her too, Chloe," I said.
"Is this," Ellie said.
"Yeah," Chloe said. "Sarah,"
"God," Ellie said. "I'm sorry,"
"You would have loved her," I said.
"Maybe I would have," Ellie said.
"Come on, We should start heading back," Chloe said.
"Yeah," I said. "Meet you by the Truck,"
"Okay, Dad," Chloe said as she pulled Ellie along to.
"Chloe," Ellie said as I heard her.
"I love you, Sarah, I miss you, Baby Girl, Just hope your with Allison. Bye Baby girl," I said.
As I headed down to the Truck. And got in as we started heading for Jackson.

It took 3 days to get back to Jackson, Where Lydia, Stiles and the pack were waiting for us. As we unloaded the gear, Everything but the Advantage stuff from Voyager or where are we going. So Meds, Food, Ammo, And most of the equipment. And a couple of Generators for power.
As Chloe, Ellie and I headed home, Where we got showered and I was laying down in bed. As It was Night time, when we got back. I was trying to get asleep. Then my door opened and I saw Ellie and Chloe come in.
"Hey," I said.
"Mind if we sleep in here," Chloe said.
"Get in you 2," I said. As they got into bed and snugged against me. As we were finally able to get some sleep. "Love you kiddos," I said before I went to sleep.
