Arguments and a New World!

(Flashback to a few weeks ago…)

"You're acting like a real child, you know that?" Mina ignored the implication and continued to gather the luggage in her temporary room, if she could even call this place home. She completely paid no attention to the blue-haired woman in question.

Her blue irises depicted disappointment while her slightly fair skinned hand ran through her relatively short hair.

Her upper attire was a black and blue high-collared halter top with two pink, intersecting belts over her chest with a silver badge that was connected to the top while her arms featured two white bell-sleeves and tan fingerless gloves. She also wore a small, segmented piece of armor on each of her upper arms. Black stockings covered a small portion of her legs which reached to about halfway up her thighs, leaving a small area of bare skin on her upper thighs.

Lastly, two strips of blue cloth that draped over either side of her hips along with a smaller, white strip of cloth tied around her waist were draped in the same manner along with a set of black shorts serving as her lower attire. Her footwear was a pair of pointed armored silver boots with a sharp "hook" on the outer side of each.

Mina continued collecting clothes and items that would be useful for the upcoming trip to get away from this-

"Mina!" The blue-haired woman suddenly grabbed her hand only for the brunette to push her away and deliver a fearsome glare.

"Don't touch me! You have no control over me! And if dare speak with Kairi or even mention anything regarding-"

The woman slammed her fist into a wall. "Do you think you are the only ones that are grieving!? We also lost the people that are closest to us! Right now the thing that we need to do is to GRIEVE TOGETHER! Instead you and Kairi are planning to-"

The blue-haired woman was cut off by summoning a blue-colored key-shaped weapon just in time to stop an attack from the brunette who was also using a similar weapon but in a blackish-yellow scheme. "I warned you… don't even MENTION HER."

The tall woman glared at the young child before letting out a sigh and pushing Mina back with the key-shaped sword. Dismissing her weapon, she shook her head. "You need to learn that grieving is just a part of life itself. If you allow it to take root, then it leads down to a dark path. Your heart will become consumed by darkness, Mina. Please… you don't have to do this."

Mina rolled her eyes before dismissing her weapon. "They sent us all off to a war with no possible hope and you're telling me to move on? Do you have any idea how hard it is for Kairi right now? She can hardly eat, sleep and talk… Nobody has been there to offer her the emotional support she needs… only I have because I love her."

"What!? I have been there for her! I just feel like-"

Mina shook her head. "You say you're there for her but I can see how frustrated you have become in trying to get her to socialize… she doesn't want that! She wants to go away because she's tired of it all! I'm planning on taking her as far away from here as possible! If you try to stop us… I promise that things will end very badly for you. Even if you are experienced, I'll make sure that I fight to my heart's content for the person that I care about the most."

The brunette then pointed at the door. "We're leaving this damn tower. If you or anyone tries to stop us, we'll escape by force. I don't care if I'm selfish or stubborn. This is my final night here… Kairi's as well. Now get out of here, Aqua!"

(The present…)

"Ugh… someone… knock the damn alarm out…" Mina groaned at the loud noise coming from nearby. She rubbed her eyes slowly as her vision began to clear up… only to immediately regret it. Damn it all to- The entire cockpit was a mess!

The chairs were turned up, the control panel was busted up and missing some buttons along with levers, some of the glass was broken up… goddamn it. It was a mess and it would take several years of building before she could even repair this vessel.

"What a waste… at least we've managed to come out of this unscathed and alive, right Kairi?" Mina commented and looked around for her girlfriend only to panic upon seeing that she wasn't anywhere near her area.

"Kairi!? KAIRI!?" Mina yelled but got no response. Oh, god… what if she was dead? No! She shouldn't think that… Kairi survived tougher situations than a simple crash. Hell, even after Sora accidentally crashed the situation, he was still alive and barely had enough scratches.

She couldn't stand here and wait for someone to find her. She had to leave the crashed remains of her ship and start tracking down her light… wherever she was. Getting off the floor, she stretched her arms and examined her attire to see if there was anything ripped. To her luck, everything was in tip-top shape.

"At least my uniform isn't completely destroyed. That's something… now, where's the exit?" Mina wondered as she walked carefully around the damaged cockpit. She didn't know what could fall on top of her or if a control panel accidentally got destroyed and thrown at her.

Leaving the control section, she climbed down the stairs and walked all the way to the hallway when she saw the gaping giant hole at the end. Wonderful… definitely several years in fixing this damn rust bucket before she could be considered a ship yet again.

Peeking out through the hole, she saw a forest along with the moon raised over the night sky along with the stars. It wasn't a familiar sight and it certainly didn't seem like a world that she had visited before. She let out a small sigh before the ship tilted a bit.

"What?!" She yelled as the ship titled again and began to shake a bit. It started to go forward…

"Oh, crap! JUMP!" She told herself and jumped just in time out of the hole before the ship went forward and flew off the cliff down towards the ground… What followed was a huge explosion and smoke.

Mina let out a deep breath of relief as she laid on the ground while having a disbelieving look at what just happened. Then she counted herself lucky when she jumped at the right moment before the ship went off the cliff. What a timing for her reflexes to kick in.

Getting up, she ran towards the edge of the cliff and looked down… only to frown upon realizing that the ship couldn't be seen thanks to the thick edges of the forest. Wonderful…

"Ugh… at least I'm alive… and in another world. Now… to find out where I am and hopefully to see if Kairi is still breathing." Mina hoped that her girlfriend was still among the living. She had to be…

And thus her trek into the forest began whilst ignoring all of those sounds coming from the bushes and vines. Even if a dangerous animal attacked her, she would take care of it immediately with Equinox. Perks of travelling alongside Sora during his fight against the Nobodies… God, now she felt saddened again due to remembering what had happened to the boy.

As she continued walking, her ears picked up a growling noise coming from a nearby bush. She stopped and took out her right hand forward before a flash of light covered it.

It formed a key-shaped sword that had a black handle and a gold sun guard around it - the blade part looks like a hollow arrow-like shape and at the end is a black crescent moon with a gold pattern on the inside. The chain is a simple silver color and at the end is a dark gold moon with a sun in the middle for the Keychain.

Grabbing it, she held it tight and got into a fighting position as the growling increased. Whatever was out there wanted Mina as its meal yet the brunette wasn't going to become someone's dinner. She was on alert ever since hearing the growls coming.

Soon, they came… but Mina wasn't expecting this. She expected wolves, dragons or worse Heartless. What caught her off guard was creatures made out of wood… literal wood. Glowing yellow eyes, wooden legs and tail… where did she find herself exactly?

The creatures charged forward as Mina slashed them in half with her Keyblade and then ended up being little more than twigs. Unfortunately, the fight was far from over as the wooden pieces began to shake a bit followed by them forming to make one large wooden monster!

Mina gulped a bit as the wooden monster growled at her but then she got into position for another fight once more. She figured that this opponent was a little tougher than the smaller ones… now she truly regretted not getting any potions or elixirs from the ship before it went overboard into permanent retirement.

"Guess I'll have to make do with what I have… luckily, it's made out of wood so it shouldn't be any trouble to take care of it." Mina told herself before the monster charged forward with the intention of dining on her flesh.

Mina however came up with a good plan on how to knock him down before attacking the body. Just as he got closer, the brunette ducked and slashed one of his legs in half which made the wooden monster lose support quickly. It fell to the ground before letting out a howl.

The brunette acted quickly and slashed the body a couple of times as twigs and branches flew away. She managed to block a couple of them before continuing with eliminating the wooden creature.

Half-way, the creature had managed to patch up its legs due to the twigs connecting with the missing front left leg. It howled as it jumped a few feet backwards and then growled at the brunette. Said teenager cracked a grin. "Not so tough are you, firewood?"

The monster didn't find the comment funny and thus charged forward to assault her. What it didn't count on was Mina casting a couple of fireballs on all four legs which immediately set fire to the entire creature.

It howled before being consumed by a huge gust of fire and burning away. However, Mina quickly casted Water and extinguished the sight quickly before the entire forest could be destroyed. Thank god for that…

Her relief thought turned to worry upon noticing ash on the ground and smoking coming from it. Oh, crap… Now she's no doubt alerted the local populace to her presence. Wonderful…

"I gotta find out where I am, get Kairi and find a new ship so we can leave before things turn into a complete shitter." Mina commented before heading off.

(?)

Nightmare Moon can hardly believe that she was very close to accomplishing her ultimate goal. Bringing back the joy of the night! Ever since Celestia had the gall to imprison her…

Granted, there was still the problem with the six girls that were on their way to stop her. However, they shouldn't be any trouble to deal with… but this one that the nightmares had captured… There was something about her that worried Nightmare Moon a lot.

"I can sense it… a hidden power inside you, child. You and your friend both possess such incredible abilities… and that weapon that you wield… I shall have it in the end." Nightmare Moon cackled to the unconscious Kairi who was floating in the air and being held by a set of dark blue rings. Even if she awoke the rings were holding her in place.

What she failed to realize was that Mina was coming for her and Hell hath no fury like a woman coming to save her girlfriend. It would be Nightmare's last mistake...
