Holbrooke had gathered all the teachers of Luna Nova to her office in order to tell them about their three new guests that would be taking up residence at their academy.

"Everyone, I've brought you all here because a situation has arisen. I won't beat around the bush and simply get straight to the point; Three boys from the other side of the world have arrived here."

"What do you mean, Headmistress?" Professor Anne Finnelan, a middle-aged woman with brown hair tied into a bun with two fringes falling at the front, blue eyes, and pale skin complexion, asked.

"I found the three of them having been transported far away from their home in the woods. With them was this..."

Holbrooke presented the Slayer's Crystal, causing all of the teachers to gasp when they recognized it.

"The Slayer's Crystal?! How did they come across it?!" Gasped Professor Samantha Badcock, a short old woman with turquoise hair tipped sideways and a pair of rectangular lenses.

"Apparently, one of the boys' fathers had come across it during an expedition. He had given it to his son as a gift and he had tried using it for an invention of his own design. A malfunction happened and it infused the boy and his friends with its energy."

"So now they have the essence of the Dragon, Devil, and God inside them?" Asked Professor Ursula Callistis, a beautiful young woman with back-length dark blue hair tied with bandages just before the end, forming a small ponytail over her right shoulder. She had red eyes with white pupils covered by glasses and fair skin.

Holbrooke nodded. "Yes, their names are Ed, Eddward, and Eddy. They come from a town in America known as Peach Creek."

"Ed, Edd, and Eddy...Heh, now I can see why they're friends." Chuckled Professor Nelson, a tall woman with brown eyes, long, light brown hair tied in a braid, and a chipped tooth.

"I have told them they can stay and perhaps learn here. Considering the power they now contain inside them, it's for the best that we help them learn of what they now carry." Holbrooke explained as the teachers all looked slightly unsure but soon nodded, trusting the headmistresses' judgment.

"They will start next week so they have time to settle here and perhaps make friends. I'm sure the girls will be welcoming of them. It's best we inform our classes of our new guests and that they should be treated with the utmost respect."

"With all due respect, Headmistress, there's just one problem..." Badcock spoke up. "Considering this is an all-girls school, won't it be a bit bothersome for three young men to be here, considering no doubt they might have hormonal urges."

"I trust these boys, Professor Badcock. There is no need to worry." Holbrooke reassured. "Ed is a bit simple-minded but he has a heart of gold and an active imagination. Eddward is a gentleman through and through, and Eddy, while crass and a bit loud, seems quite respectful as well."

"Alright then, we'll trust you with this decision, Headmistress," Finnelan said with a nod of her head as Holbrooke smiled.

"Good, you are all dismissed."

'Sheesh, Double-D, why do we gotta go to the library?" Eddy groaned as Double-D led him and Eddy through the halls of Luna Nova. The boys had been given a map to help guide them to where they needed to go.

"Because Eddy, we need to understand the magic that has been infused inside us, remember?"

"Magic good for Ed!" Ed laughed.

The boys soon arrived at the library, which was thankfully relatively empty. Double-D then reached into his hat and took out a small note he made to help remind him of what he and his friends were searching for.

"Alright, Ms. Holbrooke told us the book we're looking for is 'The Forging of the Slayer's Crystal'. It should be around her in the 'F' or 'T' section."

Double-D giggled in giddy delight as he looked over all the books while Ed and Eddy were neutral to everything. Soon, after scrounging the shelves for a bit, Double-D managed to find what they were looking for.

"Success! Here it is, fellows!"

The Eds all sat down at a table as Double-D opened the book and skimmed through it, Eddy and Ed peering over his shoulder to check out the pictures or any words of interest.

"Alright, where's the beginning...Oh, here it is!"

The page Double-D found depicted a Dragon, a Devil, and a God fighting each other, the land around them cracking and shaping itself as their battle raged on.

"When humanity was still building itself, a Dragon, a Devil, and a God fought each other to learn who was indeed the strongest of all of them. Their battle was so great, it shaped the land around them into what we know today. In the end, they all died of their wounds but passed with mutual respect of each other's strength."

The next picture showed the Dragon, Devil, and God all laying down, having mortally wounded each other but their eyes showed understanding and respect for each other as they passed.

"Sheesh, deep stuff. Maybe Rolf would like this." Eddy said.

"A group of witches who witnessed the battle crafted a special crystal and infused the essence of the three mighty beings into it, hoping to keep the memory of their world-changing battle alive as well as to mark a moment in history for the world itself."

Another picture showed a group of witches, probably the first witches in history, infused the spirits of the Dragon, Devil, and God into a hexagonal-shaped crystal.

"Cool!" Ed said in amazement.

"In the centuries that passed, the crystal's energy was bestowed onto those whose spirit matched those of the Dragon, Devil, and God. With their new powers, they protected witches from not only the prejudice of humans but also dark threats that endangered the world at large."

Three figures were defending some witches from humans with pitchforks and torches as well as monstrous creatures. The first figure bearing the Dragon Mark was breathing out a stream of fire, water, lightning, and air. The second figure bearing the Devil Mark had bull horns and was stretching their arms like rubber while the bottom half of their body had turned into smoke. Finally, the third figure bearing the God Mark had summoned a spiritual entity to defend itself.

"Wow, so we're basically superheroes now!" Eddy said in amazement.

"However, the power of the Slayer's Crystal attracted those with impure hearts who wished to use its power for their own ends. To protect the crystal from misuse, the last three users buried it where nobody would ever find it and hoped that in the chance that it was unearthed, those with pure hearts would find it and use it to continue the work of protecting witches, humans, and magic itself.

Double-D was truly intrigued but the book was not over and saw that following the story, there were tons of spells that were listed in the book, each one connected to one of the three marks.

"Whoa...look at all these!" Eddy said before his eyes locked on a spell connected to the Dragon Mark and grinned as he took a step back.

"Eddy, what are you doing?"

"Watch this, boys!"

Eddy waved his hands and then golden mist began forming into three large spherical shapes. Much to Ed and Double-D's surprise, the shapes transformed into their favorite candy; JAWBREAKERS!

"Eddy, how did you do that?!" Double-D asked in amazement as the Eds all took a jawbreaker for themselves.

"That spell over there, Double-D," Eddy said, pointing to the spell that caught his eye. Written were the words; 'Arc of Embodiment'.

"Arc of Embodiment; Manifest anything from your imagination for any effect you desire." Double-D read before turning to Eddy in surprise.

"Eddy, that was an advanced Dragon Mark Spell and yet at the same time, you were able to channel its power with relative ease! How did you do it?"

"Hey, Mom always said I had an active imagination." Eddy chuckled proudly as he popped his jawbreaker into his mouth.

"Oooh! Look at this, Double-D!" Ed said as he pointed at a spell connected to the Devil Mark.

"Chop, allows the user to disassemble their body into several pieces that can then float around telekinetically. Can be used for many versatile tricks." Double-D read before gasping when Ed had already started disassembling himself. The only part remaining intact was his legs, which ran around as his head, three pieces of his torso, hands, and four pieces of his arms flew around the library like crazy as he laughed.

"I have become Jigsaw Man!" Ed said as Eddy bust a gut laughing at what his friend was doing.

"You're a riot, Ed!"

Double-D rolled his eyes at his friend's antics before looking through the spells related to the God Mark. His eyes widened when he realized many of the spells were named after tarot cards, famous musicians, and songs.

"Strange, from what I understand, these spells were made long before any forms of music were conceived. Could it be they were inspirations?"

Double-D saw the name of one spell that interested him, The World. Closing his eyes, he reached into the magical energy that now resided in him and then felt it glowing like a steady flame before pulling itself out of his body. When he opened his eyes, he gasped in amazement when he saw what had happened.

Ed and Eddy were frozen in time. In fact, as Double-D looked around, everything around him was frozen in time as if the universal clock had just been stopped.

"What in the world...?" The sockhatted boy muttered as he waved his hand in front of Eddy's face before looking at one of Ed's pieces and picking it gently before moving it a certain distance. After five seconds had passed, time suddenly resumed.

"Whoa, Sockhead, when did you get over there?" Eddy asked as in his eyes, it appeared that Double-D had strangely teleported.

"I-I think I just stopped time, Eddy!"

Ed reassembled himself back to normal as he grinned in excitement and pulled Double-D and Eddy into one of his signature crushing hugs.

"We can be magical superheroes for justice, guys!"

"Excuse me..." The Eds turned to see it was Professor Ursula. Double-D couldn't help but blush at how pretty she was as Ed and Eddy noticed and chuckled, elbowing him playfully.

"Y-Yes, Ma'am?"

"Professor Holbrooke wants you to come to the office. She would like to introduce you to someone who she believes will help you get around the school easier."

"I see, thank you, Ma'am," Double-D said, bowing his head.

"Just call me Professor Ursula. No need to be so formal." The woman giggled as Double-D coughed into his fist, his pale cheeks red as he nodded before leaving for Holbrooke's office as Eddy and Ed followed after him, both of them giving their friend teasing smiles along the way.

Next Time: The Eds Formal Introduction!

Eddy basically has the magic from Fairy Tail, Double-D has the powers of the Stands from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Ed has the powers of the Devil Fruits from One Piece. See what I did there with their powers and the marks they now bear?

Anyway, next chapter will have the Eds be introduced to one of the main girls and it isn't exactly gonna be Akko, Sucy, or Lotte...

It's Diana, I don't know why I did that.
