![]() Author has written 9 stories for Teen Titans, BioShock, How to Train Your Dragon, Naruto, Elder Scroll series, Grimm, and Game of Thrones. "The greatest strength is shown in mercy. The greatest courage in forgiveness. The greatest wisdom in humility. For if these things are absent, who can continue to flourish and grow in all other things?" - Some dude, from somewhere, at sometime Disclaimer: I don't own my profile image. Current Stories: This is a Link for my story Falling Apart and The Proposition (Teen Titans). They act as the prequels to my current story, Magicks That Bind, so it's... kinda important. You know, if people want context. (Teen Titans) Sequence 1 - Falling Apart [completed] (Teen Titans) Sequence 2 - The Proposition [completed] (Teen Titans) Sequence 3 - Magicks that Bind [Story in-progress, Chapter 14: 0%] {on hiatus} - Arc 1: Heart of the Jungle (Chapters Prologue through 7) {Arc EDITS complete} - Arc 2: Homecoming (Chapters 8 through 13) {Arc EDITS in progress...} - Arc 3: Family Matters (Chapter 14...Upcoming...) I'm accepting potential Story Content right now. (WARNING!!! Not all content will be accepted.) I am not accepting Story Requests right now. I have no shortage of things to write about, and my head just might explode if I don't empty out some of it first. I have over a hundred-and-one ideas in my head being analyzed on a daily basis, including new stories and new content, and how plausible they are. I'm easily inspired by other authors, as every little bit read adds a little bit more to this list. So no, I won't be writing someone else's ideas. My head has no room for it. Apologies in advance. Story Ideas: (Just stuff I came up with that I may, or may not, eventually put to words. It's all still in flux and subject, but it's a place to start I suppose. This all is currently competing for cranial space with the stories I'm actually working on, so it's always going to be a little crowded up here) -Blade of the Son (Final Fantasy XV): A last intervention on Umbra's part as Noctis sits with his final breath in the first moments of the New Dawn gives him the chances he didn't have before. Now returned further into the past than previous and retaining the better part of his new strengths than when he left Lucis, Noctis isn't going to let his second chance go to waste. Now with foreknowledge, the ideals of a King, three companions, and the Blade of the Son Armiger, he now takes the opportunity to change the end of his story. Even if the Astrals themselves get in his way. (Noctis Lucis Caelum, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, the Gang; rated T for Violence, Language, maybe Suggestive Themes, and massive insults to Cup Noodle) -Manifest! (My Hero Academia) Mild-AU: The conditions have been met. The terms have been signed whether he wanted them to, or not. Izuku only has one demand, "Let me save him!" Now armed with a quirk that doesn't listen, and more power than his mind and body know how to handle, Izuku Midoriya treks the road to being the World's Number One Hero. (Izuku Midoriya, All-Might, Class 1-A; rated T until further notice; maybe some IzuOcha?) It began with a potential OC character, than evolved into a "Izuku has a quirk" type of story. -Only Monsters Roam Here (ARK: Survival Evolved) AU: Living at Rockwell Manor has its perks- Work, consistent meals, a half-decent bed, and large barrier between you and all the things that want to eat you. But humans reveal their true nature when their survival is at stake, and unfortunately for Rachel Miles, that involves her being captured by a hostile tribe. Too bad night on the Island holds far more dangerous things. (Rated T until further notice) Just a concept idea about the First Survivor from an outside POV. -Pools of Black (Grimm) AU: A simple choice before the beginning changes the outcome of the series as a whole. Nick has known since he was young that there is more too the world than meets the eye, and he's been trained for the day it's revealed to him. That comes with new toys, sharper instincts, better preparation; and unfortunately, new challenges, new Wesen, and new plots that want to snag Portland's newly awakened Grimm. (Nick Burkhardt, Adalind Schade, the Gang, Aunt Marie; rated T for now, namely for Violence, Decapitation, Dismemberment, occasional Language, perhaps some Suggestive Themes; rating subject to change, because I remember it being rated TV-14 when I first watched, and thinking "Wow, look at all that blood!") -JCPD (Teen Titans) Massive-AU: The world isn't the same one we know. Those who are different are persecuted. Those with abilities are hated. And yet, despite this world, some are dedicated to protecting it. Those who work within the system are bound, forced to be as normal as possible. Raven Roth is the rookie detective with perfect marks, no room for emotion, and power that won't be restrained. Detective Logan is the veteran with no qualms cheating the system, hates his job, and has loosened his shackles. But they have one thing in common: they're partners. In a system that hates what they are, both need someone to watch each others backs as they protect Jump from meta-humans, psychics, and mystics. (BBRae; rated M for Violence, Language, maybe Suggestive Themes, mild Drug References) Heavily inspired by the Enforcers of the PSYCHO-PASS anime and the Sentinel Services in Marvels the Gifted. -The Art of Breaking (Teen Titans) Future/Sci-Fi -AU: When one fights, one always keeps their edge - their trump card - hidden. In a universe run by multi-galactic corporations, underworld wars take place. But when people want to see destruction and carnage, to feel blood splash across the stadium, then what other solution is there but to create something to grant that desire? To bio-engineer the strongest creatures, and pit them against each other? Better yet, to have them piloted remotely by human minds as they either scream in agony or roar in triumph. In this universe, being broken is power. (BBRae, RobStar, and other pairings; Rated M for Violence, Gore, Language, possibly Suggestive Themes, Drug References, and plenty of other dark stuff) Heavily inspired by Pacific Rim and Love Death Robot's "Sonnie's Edge" -Marred (Dishonored) Mild Divergence: The same story, a different take. Background: So yeah, I've been attempting to write novels for about 12 years now, but started getting into Fanfiction about seven years ago. But I never really felt compelled to write anything of the Fanfiction variety until a few years ago with Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus, just after the House of Hades came out. I started writing a Percy Jackson Fanfic (taking place after the prophecy ended), but unfortunately, didn't feel compelled or motivated to finish it (it's still sitting in my flash-drive). But recently, in the words of Natsu Dragoneel, "I got a fire in my belly" when I heard that they were making a Titans live-action tv show (between some fan-made trailers and two Seasons later). Things happened, I rewatched the entire Teen Titans series, and after all the Fanfiction I read, I just felt...enlightened? ,that feeling you get when a story hits your brain and you think "WORLD, you can't stop me now!"? Something like that. I decided to join Fanfiction after that, and I'm now writing my heart out. Name: I have a Pseudo-Name now! Marcus Ezra Kaine (sounds dashing don't it). Pleasure to meet you all! Age: Old enough to bare experience, young enough to be filled with wonder. Strong enough that I'll lend a shoulder, weak enough to respect those stronger still. Fine! I'm in my mid-twenties ya'll! Eh, what's it matter? Let's just say that I'm older than I type. Gender: Male (but I identify as *pauses dramatically for flare while simultaneously deepening his voice* "A Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird; an advanced, long-range strategic reconnaissance aircraft, capable of Mach 3 and an altitude of eighty-five thousand feet!") Hobbies: Writing, Reading (when I have the time), playing games of the video variety, Eating (it only hurts your pocketbook when you burn four- to five-thousand calories a work-day... I'm handing out free metabolism to those who have the means to extract it), and if you can't tell by now... Making People Smile (laughing is better, but I'll take a smile). I'm also a full-time, on-call, unpaid therapist, counselor, and psychologist to my friends, family, and co-workers (It must be something about this face that makes people want to tell me their problems :\ ) Things-You-Should-Know: I believe in Dragons (thank you HTTYD!), I'm overly sarcastic (NO! Really?!), have a seasonal sense of humor, try to explain everything in-depth like I'm a teacher (is this profile making that clear enough? Maybe I should explain further), I watch all the Fanfiction I read in my inter-cranial movie theater (wish I had popcorn on hand 24/7), believe there is a difference between intelligence and education, have really great ideas for character lines but forget to write them down (so you guys might end up with the dregs, sorry), I have external dialogue with myself to prevent from getting bored (and sometimes just for fun), I dance when no one is around to music no one can hear, sing when I can't be heard, acknowledge that I'm infallibly crazy (because crazy people don't know that they're crazy are crazy are crazy are crazy Wabbajack!) Serious Things-You-Should-Know: I want to be honest, but that doesn't mean everyone's ready to hear my full truth (Bet that truth hurts, doesn't it?) I know my Angels and Demons by name (simple and straight to the point) I'm human. I struggle. I have a heart; it breaks. I have a mind; it's chaos. I have a voice; it strains. I have the benefit of knowing who and what I am, and will constantly be working to fulfill that roll in my own life. I'm a hopeless romantic (guy gets the girl, or vice versa; good triumphs over evil; etcetera). I can't help it. I'm so hopeless that my first three play-through's of Dishonored (the first one) were completely 'Clean Hands', and I have yet to willingly kill someone. Dishonored 2 was a different story (I spent my first eight play-through's with 'Clean Hands'. What!? I had to capitalize on that New Game Plus feature) before I finally went the route of "If they deserve my sword, then they'll get it in spades, but first, lemme Stop Time, throw a Grenade, shoot a Bolt, Domino chain, then Blink to the top of this roof." And I haven't run a single Bioshock gameplay where I harmed a single Little Sister. I'm a sap, and I own it. Happy endings are my weakness. If the story isn't happy... I'm unsatisfied with the result. But my sweet romantic side is a bit dark (as is my choice in video-games). I believe in a sort of... karma system. You wanna have your happily ever after? Fine, but you'll drag your ass through all Nine Circles of Hell to withstand the test of love, and your best friends might die along the way. But hey, what's a couple years of absolute Hell for a lifetime of happiness? I don't think it's terrible, I just think that love is something that one has to face throughout challenges, realistic or fictional. Having two people stay true and faithful (keyword there) to each other despite those challenges and hardships is what makes it all worth it in the end. That is what makes a good love story. Has anyone seen Princess Bride!? *Heart Throbbing* Thee ICON of a karmic love-story. What Kind of Writer Am I?: 1. I write specifically in novels (which averages between 70,000 and 120,000 words, but can be pushed to much, much longer). I've tried writing concisely, but it's just not in me. There is far too much detail to get down, and I have a lot to say (sorta). So, there probably won't be a lot of one-shots or short-stories unless they're designed to fill up a short period of space. 2. I leave Easter Eggs. If I plan a sequel or seven, then you can bet your ass that I've been dropping hints the whole time I've been writing. I don't even plan it, it just sorta happens, but I'll use it to my advantage. Work with what I got (besides my incredibly good looks ;) ). So keep an eye out for those spoilers... if you can find them. 3. I love engaging with my readers (even though I'm still relatively new). Feedback is my bread and butter (toasted, melted, with jam and/or peanut butter on top, and blended to perfection). Sometimes the reader's see dots connected that I didn't even know were connected. Sometimes they inspire my next work. 4. I'm not a good Reviewer. Most of the time, the stuff I read is Completed or really far ahead, and I don't really have anything to add. I don't want to state the obvious, and I don't want to ask questions prematurely. If I don't feel like it wrapped up something, I'll ask. Until then, I don't have much to say. For some reason, offering congrats or encouragement is hard, so don't feel bad if you can't offer me the same. If I struggle with it, I can only imagine how hard it is for others. 5. Music is a heavy conduit for me. I associate characters, or scenes, and even ships, based on the song I hear. I use those songs to write certain scenes, and I want to get better about actually applying those songs to my writing. 6. I can't really do Lemons. It's a personal thing for me. Sex is far too intimate for me to intrude on or describe, even when they're a fictional character (don't ask why, I've always been that way). It's... weird?... maybe?... but it's me. Best I can guarantee are Oranges, with maybe some Limes. Life may give Lemons, but that doesn't mean I gotta bring the Sugar. (That made way more sense in my head) 7. I have an especially hard time killing off characters. While writing them, I become attached to them, and I can't kill them at that point. Maim? Possibly dismember? Cripple them for life? Easy. Kill them? Not so much. Fanfic's of Interest (FOI): Teen Titans (mainly), HTTYD, Percy Jackson, Fairy Tail, Naruto, the Dragon Prince, Grimm, Witcher, ESV: Skyrim, Fallout 4, Bioshock, Final Fantasy XV, ARK: Survival Evolved plus some other games (will update when I remember) Ship's of Interest (SOI Sauce): Beast Boy x Raven (Teen Titans): because it makes for some OP story content (and after observing their "old married couple" dynamic, I kind of fell in love with the idea that they had fallen in love), plus they're my two favorite characters and the two that I identify with most Robin/Nightwing x Starfire (Teen Titans): because I've seen this coming since S1E2 (before I read some of the comics, and that solidified my shipping) Hiccup x Astrid (HTTYD): Makes some sense, but I honestly have no good reason to go against the movie and tv show content Percy x Annabeth (Percy Jackson): because I've seen this since Lightning Thief (Really? Insulting the guy is as sure as guaranteeing that you're gonna marry him, I mean come on! "Seaweed Brain?!") Natsu x Lucy (Fairy Tail): because it's cute, and funny, and shared experiences tends to do that Gray x Juvia (Fairy Tail): because it's hilarious, albeit realistically unlikely (Unwitting Male Stripper x The Stripper's Female Stalker = LOL!) Gajeel x Levy (Fairy Tail): because they are the all-time most adorable Fairy Tail couple in existence (so Kawaii! In case you can't tell, this one is my fav of the series) Dragonborn x Serana (ESV: Skyrim): *sigh* since the moment she bit my character *sigh* It was as the Scrolls foretold Geralt x Yennefer (Witcher): I'll admit, I wasn't a fan of these two at first. But I came to an understanding with their dynamic, the literary time-period, and the characters dynamic and psychology. So I couldn't help it, they compliment each other pretty well when you think about it. Jack Ryan x Elizabeth DeWitt (Bioshock): I'm still relatively new to the Bioshock game series, but I read some stories that shipped them, and I finally finished the main stories for the whole franchise. What really solidified this ship for me was hearing "You Belong To Me" from Bioshock: Buriel at Sea Part 2. For some reason, I just imagined Jack while she was singing, and it broke my heart (Yes! Dudes can cry to music and still be manly!). Naruto x Hinata (Naruto): Main reason being simple; Hinata's actually nice. She doesn't yell at him, doesn't hit him, and, unlike most everyone else in his graduation class, refers to him respectfully and kindly from. The. Beginning. That's a big deal in my opinion. Though I have found some especially cool fanfic's that ship Naruto with someone else, this one is my main. OC's (Original Characters): WARNING! CONTENT RESTRICTION! ATTEMPT AT VIEWING... DENIED! PLEASE SUBMIT PROPER AUTHENTICATION... PASSWORD: _ -Files Opened- Processing... ...Still Processing... ...Reasoning... -Because the Author is too lazy and distracted to create character profiles for his own OC's- |
