Chapter 36: Luffy's Arrival

A half-hour ago.

Luffy was riding on Hancock's ship, while they were sailing still, the pirate empress informed of the new guests that came to her island.

The Strawhat captain was amazed. "No way, this Natsu guy has powers similar to Ace's!?"

"Right, however, he's from another world called: Earthland, where magic exists," Gloriosa replied. "Also, he's got a talking cat, who's from another world called: Edolas, his entire race lives there, secondly, he claims that have friends that were here."

"These are the guys he claims so far," Sonia said throwing a few wanted posters.

Luffy looked at them with interest. "Ooh!" He said in amazement with stars in his eyes. "Check out these guys, so cool, and they're from another world!"

Marie laughed a bit. "That kid believed us so quickly."

"I surprised he believe us, even though, it's true," Sonia added. "But, I guess, the unknown does interest him a lot."

"Anyway, we should be arriving Sabaody in a few hours, so be prepared to depart soon!" Gloriosa stated.

"Right!" Luffy said walking over back inside the ship's cabin.

A short time later.

The Kuja Pirate ship stopped outside of Sabaody.

"So, this is where we depart, sorry, we can't land you closer to shore, but, we can't let anyone discover our alliance and friendship," Hancock said as she took out a fake mustache. "I have this for a disguise."

Luffy chuckled the moment he saw it. "Heh, I can't pull that off."

"Maybe, but I'd be at ease if you were to wear it," Hancock said insisting as she handed over the facial hair.

Luffy took it as Hancock pulled down her crush's coat's hood further. "Be careful, you must keep your face hidden, the world might know you've probably been dead for the past two years, but, one mistake and someone might recognize you."

Seeing the seriousness in the snake princess' face he knew she was right. "Right, I'll do what you say, at least, I'll try."

Hancock turned around and walked over to a large backpack. "For supplies, I packed you with 50 changes of clothes, 1000 lunches, tissues, and handkerchiefs, secondly, there's 3 years of water, snacks, and bug bite ointment, including toothbrushes and-"

"That's too much!" Gloriosa exclaimed as the snake princess giggled innocently.

Luffy put the backpack on his back. "Thank you for getting me here."

Margurite giggled. "No problem, we were happy to help you."

Sweet Pea had some news to share with the rubber man. "Still, you have difficult trials ahead, Sabaody has become more dangerous with crime happening often."

"She's right," Gloriosa agreed to nod her head. "Because of that, the navy has been keeping a time watch on what happens there every day, my boy."

That's when Kikyo approached the straw hat pirate captain. "Excuse me... I have favor." She took out a letter from her cleavage and handed it over to Luffy. "If you see Natsu the Fire Dragon, give this letter."

"Yeah, tell Natsu that I said hello," Marguerite said.

"Same goes for us, tell his pet cat Happy, that all the Kuja pirates say "hi"." Sweet Pea added with a big smile.

"Also, if you see Fujika, the other Kuja pirate, tell her that she's free to do what she wants," Hancock said. "I can tell that she's in good hands with the Fairy Pirates."

Luffy was curious, but he decided to repay her and the others. "Okay..." He took the letter from Kikyo and put it in his pocket.

The straw hat captain began to walk over to the pirate empress. "If you need assistance, then the Kuja Pirates and they'll rush to your aid, so, don't hesitate to call us."

She then turned her face away a bit while blushing red. "Also, will you do me little favor?"

Luffy was a little unsure, but he decided to listen. "Maybe, as long as it doesn't involve getting married."

Hancock giggled a little. "No, no, I just want you to do when you depart, you do so, without saying "Farewell"."

The straw hat captain saw no problem with that. "Is that all, sure, I will, besides I want to see you again."

Hearing that makes the snake princess gasp in delight.

Luffy eventually got on the small boat and departed towards Sabaody, he waved to the Kuja Pirates. "Take care, you guys!"

"He says he wants to see me again!" Hancock squealed in happiness as she cupped her hands together. "That practically... A PROPOSAL!"

"IT'S NOT!" Gloriosa exclaimed in annoyance

Sanji arrived at Shakky's bar.

"Shakky!" He exclaimed with a perverted smile.

He burst the door open and saw new faces. "Who's he?" Akame wondered.

"Ah!" The chef swooned. "Akame the Shadow Girl, Leone the Beast Woman, Cana the Card Maker, and Juvia the Water Girl, all such beautiful women!"

"Sanji, you arrived, that's good," Shakky said with a smile.

Akame stood silent with an expressionless face.

"Geez, not another Loki," Cana groaned in annoyance.

"He's like Lubbock too," Leone added whispering to the card mage.

"Hey, master!" Duval called out. "I see you met our new friends!"

"Duval, long time no see," The chef greeted the former hunter with a grin.

"Anyway, as much as you would like to get to know the girls, we have info about your crew members," Rayleigh spoke, getting the chef's attention.

Present.

Luffy accidentally bumped into his fake imposter. "Oops, sorry about that." He began to walk away.

"Stop right there!" Fake Luffy shouted demandingly.

At Grove 13

Shakky's Rip-off Bar.

Sanji was informed of Zoro's arrival. "Seriously, the swordsman that can't tell left to right made here first?" He questioned a little surprised. "Perhaps, the moss head learned to a read a map."

"After Zoro, Franky arrived 10 days ago, but he left a while ago to check on the ship," Shakky informed.

Sanji was glad to hear that. "I see, hope that means the Sunny is in good shape."

The bartender lady nodded her head. "Yes, there's not a single scratch on your ship," Rayleigh assured. "Also, the coating is done too."

"Coating, what is that?" Juvia asked.

"It's a special kind of bubble that surrounds a ship, pirates like Sanji and his crew use that to get to Fishman Island," Rayleigh explained. "I admit, when Shakky told me we had some guests, I did find it hard to believe, that some could just fall out of the sky."

Sanji inhaled and blew out some smoke. "Yeah, after what you ladies told me..." Then a huge smile with a pink heart in his eyes appeared on his face. "I KNEW I WAS IN HEAVEN AGAIN! BEAUTIFUL WOMEN THAT FELL FROM THE SKY OF HEAVENS!"

"Ugh, this again," Cana moaned in annoyance.

Leone turned her head away with a disapproved look. "He's a good cook, but, I don't like perverts."

Akame just smiled a little. "Maybe, he's a good person despite he's a pirate, then again, I can say the same thing about us."

"Anyway, where's Chelsea?" Juvia asked. "Where are Usagi and Tigress as well?"

"They got a call from Temukai that he's got amazing news to share," Rayleigh answered the water mage. "I think their lost companion is alive."

"That's great!" Juvia squealed in delight.

"Yeah, I'm glad for the minks," Leone added with a grin taking a sip of booze.

"Anyway, Sanji, just give credits where credits are due," Rayleigh said reminding the straw hat pirate.

"Even if you don't, there's no shame in a wound of honor," Duval spoke as he and his group rose their arms. "IT'S TIME FOR SOME R AND R!"

Sanji got up from the stool he was sitting on and walked over to the former bounty hunter. "Who knows, you'd be so dedicated to the cause." He smiled impressively. "Your stubbornness came in handy."

"You mean my looks?" Duval asked while chuckling in a goofy tone. "Don't mention it, besides I owe you anyway." He turned his head away with tears of joy. "Pirates kept coming after your ship, Hatchen, I, and along with my men fought against those bastards that attended to take it, it was hardly a battle, but the bruises are worth it!"

"You're so amazing, sir!" Three of Duval's men cried in tears of joy.

Sanji wasn't sure that was the entire story. "Pirates did this to you, c'mon, is there more than that?"

"Don't be so impatient," Duval said with a crooked grin. "I'm building up the suspense here, see what happened next is-"

Shakky's voice interrupted the former bounty hunter. "Your next crew member Nami arrived too."

Hearing that made Sanji swoon in delight. "NAMI!" He cooed twirling back to his seat. "That's great, is she still here?"

"No, she went out shopping to kill some time," Shakky replied.

"Hey, don't you want to hear the rest of the story?!" Duval exclaimed comically with his eyes popping out.

"Nami's shopping, Nami's shopping, Nami's shopping," Sanji chanted with a lover boy expression on his face still.

"The next crew member was Usopp about three days ago, but he left a while ago, followed by Chopper, who also went into town about yesterday," Shakky informed. "Brook made it too, he's holding a concert on Sabaody."

"No way," Sanji said in surprise as the female bartender gestured towards a poster of Brook's concert. "Well, I'll be damned."

"You're the last to stop by, meaning about 7 of you guys has made it," Shakky added pointing at the chef. "Not that I expected to be any less."

"Right," Rayleigh spoke looking at the chef. "Only Nico Robin and Luffy are left, getting to this island is no easy task for any crew member."

The former pirate put his hand under his chin with interest. "Still, you made here twice, so, I can say you must be eager to see each other again."

Sanji chuckled, agreeing with that last part. "Yeah, and by the way, I heard that you trained Luffy during the past 2 years, he must be crazy strong." He said drinking a cup of water.

Rayleigh smiled brightly. "Yeah, I admit those newcomers are quite the interestings, anyway, Luffy has been on his own for the past six months, I can't wait to see how much he developed."

A faint blush appeared on Sanji's face. "Now that you mention... it-" He stopped for a moment before he turned around with a lovestruck face. "I can't wait to see how much Nami has developed if you know what I'm saying!?"

A sweatdrop appeared on Rayleigh's head. "I should've expected that."

"Geez, what a pervert," Leone thought seeing the nosebleed.

Akame didn't say a word, as she poured her blonde friend red wine.

Duval saw the Chef's nosebleed and got a little concerned. "Hey, are you alright?"

Sanji kept a cool look on his face. "I endured 2 years of hard training, I'm more resilient than ever, showing no signs of seduction." A small amount of blood still was dripping from his nostrils.

Duval and the others weren't convinced despite the toughness.

"YOU HAVE TO WIPE YOUR NOSE BEFORE ANYONE BELIEVES THAT!" Duval, the Fish Riders, Leone, Cana, and Juvia exclaimed comically in unison.

Dr. Stylish was in the trees with transponder snail.

"Gee, when are those fatasses going to be here?" He wondered holding a flier of Strawhats recruiting new members and placing his left hand under his chin.

Elsewhere, Chopper is enjoying cotton candy.

"Those thugs are at it again!" A male voice said.

A small crowd formed around four pirates that were fighting each other in a duel.

One pirate knocked down his opponent and placed his foot on the other pirate's face. "You think Whitebeard, Kidd, and Drake are running things in the New World, but, it's only a matter of time until we beat them at their own game!"

A man from the crowd caught a glimpse of some of the Fake Strawhats.

"Look over there,"

"I heard the rumors that the Strawhats have returned,"

"Figures, the navy didn't kill them after all,"

"Indeed, ever since they landed here, they've become the powerful pirates of the island,"

Chopper was delighted to hear this. "Is it Usopp, Nami, Robin, Sanji..." He attempted to jump over the crowd, but he couldn't jump high enough.

The pirate captain was starting to lose his composer.

"Hey, this is our chance, let's fight them!" A crew member suggested excitedly.

The pirate captain put his arm out. "No, if we try anything, there's no guarantee that Luffy nor his crew won't turn a blind eye, it's too soon for us to fight them."

Chopper managed to squeeze through and catch up with the Fake Strawhats. "Hey, Zoro, Sanji, Robin!"

Fake Zoro glanced at the strange reindeer. "Hey, that raccoon dog is trying to talk to us."

Fake Sanji didn't like that. "Just ignore the creature, besides, Raccoons can't talk."

"Hey, Sanji, Zoro, Robin, I'm glad that you made it," Chopper said licking the cotton candy.

Fake Zoro and Sanji were getting nervous. "That thing is talking to us."

"I don't what that raccoon is doing, but, we're not careful, it could spell trouble for us, let's just continue,"

Chopper continued to follow them.

Two government agents were spying on the fake straw hats.

"There is no way, we can take on Robin alone,"

"Our only hope is to catch when she lets her guard down,"

The two agents snuck away quietly as the real Robin walked past by without them seeing her.

"It's been a while, surely, the others made it back by now,"

At Shakky's Rip-Off Bar.

Sanji ran out of the door, really eager to see his friends especially Robin and Nami.

"I can't wait to see Nami and Robin show them my new recipes!" He then paused for a moment and began to ponder. "Then again, I haven't checked on Sunny's kitchen yet and to see if it's up to my standards." He zoomed in a flash. "I'd better stock up some ingredients!"

Robin just arrived towards the path that lead to the bar, she stopped recognizing the voice she just heard and smiled. "Was that Sanji?"

Luffy was confronted by Fake Luffy, along with four of the imposters.

Fake Luffy placed his arm on the real Strawhat's backpack and pointed his pistol into his face. "Hey, kid, you bumped into me, so you need to apologize."

The citizens were fearful for the boy's life, some began to whisper as quietly as they could.

"C'mon, just apologize already!"

"Don't you have something to live for?"

"Please, take a look at that brat the kid is scared out of his pants," Fake Nami mocked with her arms crossed.

Fake Sniper couldn't agree more with that. "I can't blame the kid, after that red-haired chick and that long-nose guy picked a fight with us, we're in a worse mood than ever, now if you don't to be our punching bag, then ask forgiveness."

"That's right, our captain's finger can be twitchy, so unless you don't beg for our captain's forgiveness, then you'll throw life away," Fake Franky added.

The citizen became fearful, then two guys spoke to themselves.

"C'mon boy, that's Strawhat Luffy, you can't mess with him!"

"Just apologize and run!"

Luffy began to look slightly at the imposter. "Sorry, I'll be on my way,"

However, his bag hit Fake Luffy's back, the citizen had gaping mouths.

"You idiot!"

"That's it!" Fake Luffy regain his balance and pointed his pistol at the boy's head, preparing to fire.

A woman in the crowd screamed.

"Captain!" A voice called.

Fake Luffy stopped his finger and looked ahead to see the Fake Brook.

"Brook is that you?" The real Luffy wondered in thought.

"We got a problem, I spotted a marine," The fake Brook continued.

"Huh, a marine, here?" Fake Luffy questioned.

"Yes, I lost him, but, I think he might hiding somewhere around here,"

"If that's the case, then we'll just hunt that navy scum down and kill- Fake Luffy began to suggest until the Fake Brook spoke again.

"Not a chance, we'll waste our time searching for him, also, there's a possibility that the marine called headquarters, so we must get to the rendezvous location and meet up with our recruits, then we can leave for the New World."

Fake Luffy gritted his teeth. "Hold on, you forget, I'm charged here, I want to deal-"

"We'll be dealing with the Navy if we stay here any longer, so unless, you want us to get caught, then I suggest we go meet up with our recruits as soon as we can." Fake Brook interrupted.

Of course, it was Chelsea in disguise.

"Damn, I hope this works, otherwise that boy is done for,"

Fake Luffy looked at the fake Brook for a moment, then pulled his pistol away slowly. "Fine, we'll go," He put his weapon back in his pocket and walked away with the other imposters, but, he then stopped glanced at the real Luffy. "Kid, we'll settle this later."

The real Luffy didn't know what was about, but, he walked away, still feeling a bit pissed so he unleashed the Conquerer's Spirit, which made the fake Luffy and his crew stop in their tracks, making them faint on the spot.

Chelsea was in disbelief at what just happened. "What the hell?" She felt the power like it was so powerful, nothing she felt before, though she knew it wasn't magic due to her magic sensor ability. "Did he do that?"

Didn't want to stick around too long, she left a note to the Fake Luffy and left in a flash.

Luffy felt something strange off the fake Brook. "Hold up, where's Brook?" He thought glancing at the skeleton or so he thought it was. "Whatever, I need to find the others then I'll find you next."

Chopper was still following the fake Zoro, Sanji, Robin, and Chopper.

"Strange, that raccoon dog looks like we know a lot about us," Fake Zoro whispered.

Fake Sanji had to agree so he took out a few wanted posters, one caught his attention. "Whoa, that's the real Cotton Candy-Loving Chopper, worth 50 berries!"

Fake Zoro gasped quietly. "He must be following us because he thinks we're his old masters!" He then had an idea. "If we get rid of this mutt, we can keep the real one and make everyone believe that we're the real deal."

Fake Sanji smirked. "Yeah, good idea."

Fake Robin heard this and went along with the idea, there was one question. "If you want to keep it, do you have any cotton candy?"

Sanji and Zoro shrugged in response.

Fake Robin then kicked the fake Chopper and handed a sea cucumber to the real Chopper, however, the fox bit at her head out of anger.

"Now!" The two government agents came out of nowhere and snatched the fake Robin along with the fox in a bag and ran off.

"Oh no, Robin got kidnapped!" Chopper panicked. "Zoro, Sanji, what should we do?"

The two imposters wondered that too.

"We should tell captain Luffy about this."

"Yeah, I bet he knows how to handle this,"

At Grove 12

After Sanji got done checking Sunny's kitchen, he decide to go to the market.

"I shouldn't be worried if Franky is all fired up," He said to himself. "The Sunny should be fine until I get all the-

He paused as he saw two beautiful and became lovestruck. "WOMEN!" He then regains his composure. "Stay focused, you got to find the good ingredients for good meals..."

The pirate cook caught a glimpse of a passing woman, making him lovestruck again.

"Oh boy, beautiful, I've been wanting to find a woman!"

The woman was startled at the lovestruck chef and ran away, but, then the cook regained his composure again. "Once the pantry is stocked, I'll make something good for Nami and Robin."

He looked at one of the shops, seemingly not interested in what he was seeing so far.

"I don't see anything that's standing out, just the same food I used in the past," He pondered. "What should I do now?"

He then went to talk to an old lady who was selling some fritters, explaining his situation, the old lay had a suggestion. "I see, in that case, Grove 42 is the best place for you to start your searching."

Sanji liked that, he bowed to the old lady and went on his way.

A short time later, he arrived at a shop that was selling fish.

"Yeah, I here to stock up some fish at a low price!" No one seemed to be at the shop. "Is this the place?"

He then heard some stuttering from the shore, it was the shopkeeper, who was whimpering in disbelief.

"Oh, hey, something wrong old man?" Sanji approached the shopkeeper, who turned around.

"It's awful, that green-haired man is gone!" The shopkeeper replied in a whimpering tone.

Sanji sighed in annoyance. "Great... Spill old man."

The shopkeeper looked ahead back to the sea. "Well, it's like this...

Flashback

Zoro visited the shop earlier and approached the old man. "Hey, gramps, I was looking to do some fishing."

The old man was a little skeptical about that. "No offense, but, you don't strike me as the fishing type."

The green-haired man nodded at that. "Normally you'd be right, but, I got some friends I'm waiting for, they haven't arrived yet, so, I need something to do to kill time, so, can you help me out or not?"

The shopkeeper pointed at a small boat. "Sure, over there is my boat, I'll be right back just as I get some other stuff ready."

However there were two boats, the other was a pirate ship.

Linebreak

"That's all I send to him," The old man concluded.

"To be clear, did this guy have three Swords and belly warmer? Sanji asked making sure it was who he thought this old man met.

"Yeah, he did, he also had a scar on his left eye too!" The old man replied.

Sanji was surprised about hearing the scar, but, he decided to take the old man's word, he then took out a wanted poster of Zoro. "Is this the guy?"

The old man pointed in realization. "Yeah, that's the guy, he said he was waiting for some friends, so, I guess you're one of them,"

Sanji chuckled a bit. "I wouldn't go that far..."

The old man decided to continue the last thing that happened. "Anyway, I pointed out to my fishing boat, when I came back out, he made a huge mistake."

The shopkeeper dropped his fishing supplies in disbelief. "Wait, that's not my boat, get off now, that's a pirate ship!"

Zoro was snoring like his captain, he didn't hear the pirate captain that was in charge of the ship he was on talking to his crew.

"Come on, wake up!" The old man continued to scream. "You got on the wrong ship!"

Sanji couldn't believe it. "That idiot!" He inhaled and blew some smoke out of his mouth. "Figures that idiot would get himself into trouble, making here first was too good to be true."

"Are you worried about your friend?" The shopkeeper asked.

Sanji just shrugged his hand. "It's fine, he won't get killed so easily, at least, we know where he is going, anyway, can you sell me some fish?"

The shopkeeper didn't know what to say that. "I don't think you understand the situation..."

Suddenly there was a group of people on the shore, looking at something.

"See that!"

Sanji and the shopkeeper looked to see where the crowd was talking about.

The waves had bubbles popping like something was coming from below.

A galleon ship emerged from the water, but the ship was severely damaged, or rather...

"The ship is destroyed, the coating must've been destroyed in the ocean's water pressure!"

"No, looks like the work of Sea Kings!"

"Wait, the ship looks like it was cut in half!"

"But, how can that be, who could do that!"

The pirate captain in charge of the pirate ship was angry. "Damn you, how could you ruin our dreams of entering the New World!"

On the sail's mast was Zoro, who unsheathed one of his swords. "Call it a twist... Of faith... that's what the brought the plague upon your ship, there's no one to blame, but, yourselves."

"Are you kidding me!?" The pirate captain said, whining in despair.

The crowd saw Zoro, all were in disbelief trying to make sense of what was going on.

"Who is that?"

"Ugh, back already," Sanji mumbled. "He's still a pain in the ass."

Zoro sheathed the Sword he used to cut the ship. "Cough... Cough... That wasn't my ride."

"What is going on?" A female voice asked.

"Looks like a ship was cut in half, Erza..." Another female voice added.

"Seems like things are going out of control," A male voice said.

Zoro sensed the power he was feeling due to his Observation Haki, he looked to see three familiar faces standing by the fish shop, he then smirked. "Looks like we finally meet, The Scarlet Knight Erza, Sword Sheath Warrior Kagura, and Memory Revealer Mest."

Sanji was lovestruck at the two women and twirled towards them. "Two beautiful ladies, come to papa!"

In a flash, Erza whammed the perverted cook in the face, not even phased what she did.

"Who is that woman?" A man asked from the crowd.

"Don't know, but, she's scary," Another man whispered in a fearful tone.

Zoro smirked even more at what he saw. "Glad to know someone doesn't like perverts like him."

"Who's this guy?" Mest wondered.

Back at Shakky's Bar.

Rayleigh was reading a different newspaper with beef stew now and a side of red wine. "Akame, you are a good cook."

Akame smiled. "Thank you."

Cana was taking a nap on the couch with Leone. "Zzz...Zzz."

The newspaper front showed of face Sting, which read on, "Young man goes toe-to-toe with Admiral Kizaru"

The former pirate was quite intrigued. "Never thought someone other Marco the Phoenix would head-on with Kizaru."

Creak

The door to the bar opened, Rayleigh took a glance at who was coming in, his widened in surprise.

Aquapad was there and the moment he saw the old former pirate, a huge grin appeared on his face. "Dark King Rayleigh, nice to see you."

Two more people showed up behind the Fishman,both were wearing hooded cloaks. one was wearing pulled back their hood.

Rayleigh's eyes widened even more. "What the..."

Duval and his men were shocked as well. "Is...is...is that?"

It was Gildarts, though his face did stand out.

Shakky was surprised to see familiar face. "Shanks?"

The look alike Shanks looked at the old pirate man. "Is my daughter Cana here?"

After an encounter with the Fake Strawhats, Luffy continues to find his friends, Chopper follows two members of the Fake Strawhats, Sanji ends up reuniting with the Zoro, who just got on a pirate ship due to his bad sense of directions, then three Fairy Tail wizards now encounter the two Strawhat Pirates, Rayleigh meets up Aquapad, a friend of his old pal Hatchen and a man that's similar to Red-Haired Shanks., what will happen next, find out in the next chapter.
