Hi!

I am the Lovely Lucinda, a rising high school senior (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and am quite possibly the most sporadic poster ever. I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the midnight release and liked it a lot!!! I did have some problems with it (mainly Michael Gambon, Emma Watson, "The Kiss," and the shortened Snape's Worst Memory), but overall it is really great!!! Evanna Lynch is the most perfect Luna! She completely captured Luna's kooky earnestness, and truly is Luna. Also amazing: Helena Bonham Carter in her too-brief role and Imelda Staunton as the most sickly-sweet evil character ever!!! It's a great movie, go see it today!!!!! Also of importance: The impending release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!! Eight more days until the series' conclusion!!! Aaaaah!!!!! hyperventilate

Current Favorite Fan Fics: "That Loser" (by Siriusly Odd), "Quick, Grab the Cheese Wheels and Run" (by charmingly-holly), and "That Summer" (by Luminous Star). Yes, this is a rather eclectic mix of Harry Potter fics, but they are all really funny and well written!

A smidgeon or two (or three or several) about my two fics:

Your Despicable Because I Love You is the story of Lily and James Potter in their sixth year at Hogwarts, being told by the deceased Lily and James (with some additional commentry by Sirius) from up in heaven, nirvana, wherever... YDBILY is a comedy that tries to avoid all the typical L/J cliches, since I can't STAND an overly excessive amount of romance in a story. I think that it just ruins a good plot. Not that I have any feelings about the subject or anything... :) Update: I am quite possibly the worst authoress ever, but I unfortunately now have to place YDBILY on hiatus because of my insane amount of schoolwork. Maybe it'll return in the eventually, but don't keep your hopes up. Sorry.

Magical Me is the autobiography of Gilderoy Lockhart, and is meant as a parody and slam of his unbelievably self-possesed character. Gilderoy is (although incredibly infuriating), a wonderful character to write, and I'm having fun with the large number of impossible and improbable events that he describes in his event. I'm a kind of modest person, so it's very enjoyable to go overboard with this ridiculously narsistic fop. Update: I haven't updated this story in about nine months, mainly because although, fun, it is strenuous and brain-taxing to write, so Magical Me is indefinitely suspended until further notice. :(
