There are many legends throughout Remnant. Some true, some false, but there is one story that few know, and fewer believe in. The great Gryphon Knights of old, the mightiest foes of the Grimm. Most believe the legends to be just that, legends, but when team JNPR is sent on a mission to a secluded village, Jaune will learn the truth of the stories, and his family's connection to it.

Impatient after thousands of years of stalemates between Ozma and Salem, the Brother Gods decide to intervene. A new contest, Ozma's side against Salem's, to decide Remnant's fate. A contest requires combatants however, and what better or fairer than to pit one man against himself – against alternate versions of himself. Jaune Arc against Jaune Arc, for the fate of all worlds.

Jaune Arc could be called many things. Kind. Timid. Earnest. A lunatic that chases people away from his hoards of canned food with a rusty axe. That last one was kinda unexpected. "HIDE ME WEISS!" "HIDE YOURSELF!"
