Why am I updating this story again so soon? Well, it's because I want to tie into Naruto's time when he was in middle school when Mito wasn't there. Mainly because, I don't need to watch the anime while writing this soooo, yeah lmao. It's going to piss most people off, and I intend to. You might ask why Naruto never broke up with Hinata, well you'll see why he doesn't. I'll explain in my author's notes at the bottom. Also, I had this chapter already written out, so I thought I throw everyone a turkey bone... get it? Because it's Thanksgiving? Ahhhh... the cringe... anyway get reading!
Autobot-Wolfsketch chapter 5. 20h ago: I have enjoyed this story from start to now and really enjoyed this chapter and I like the relationship Naruto has between each of the girls, whoever he does end up with I wouldn't mind and I definitely wouldn't mind a herm either, But if I had to have a favorite it would be Miku. A fantastic story I'm looking forward to its continuation.
SoP: Lmao my personal favorite is Nino, but I am not going to let my feelings towards Nino change the story.
Muted reviews anime chapter 6. Nov 12: man this is just getting better and better! It is interesting considering it is pretty close to the manga in terms of certain events, but there are characters from the Naruto Universe that makes it so much more interesting and makes me want to continue, this is by far one of my favorites from you, keep up the good workman.

This Chapter (Before Naruto was Released from the Hospital)
Naruto was just about fully recovered from his cold. The Nakano quintuplets, Kasumi, Naruko, and even Mito were there. It was the day before Naruto could be released from the hospital from his sickness. He was diagnosed with a severe case of a cold, rest, medicine, was all he needed. Today was the day Naruto promised to explain his relationship with that Hinata girl and the others. They were all seated around Naruto's bed letting him explain who she was.
Naruto had a solemn smile on his face, "Just keep in mind, I'm not very proud of the couple years I've dated her. You may ask why I never left her… well it's simple I was an idiot, and I was worried too much about what they would say to the other kids. I was embarrassed about a lot of things I did for them. So… let me begin."
Flashback Three Years Ago (Naruto's Age: 14).
It has already been a year since Mito left to study abroad in America. Tsunade and Jiraiya were mostly over there for business, so Mito took the opportunity to study abroad. Naruto was still on the muscular side due to his training with Jiraiya. Naruto was already making his way into the school like any other normal student. It's already about halfway through the semester of the year and their holiday break is rapidly approaching.
Naruto was still well known as the delinquent that everyone liked, and everyone feared. Mainly because he still fought to protect the ones who needed it. Though it made it hard to make friends, Naruto was still willing to try to make new friends. However, everything changed for Naruto when he was approached by some kids.
A girl with dark blue hair and white pupil-less eyes. She was wearing a loose-fitting lavender and cream hooded jacket with navy blue pants and black, low-heeled boots. A boy next to her has messy brown hair, black eyes, a leather form-fitting jacket with zips over the chest and sleeves, along with black pants and boots. a boy with dark eyes, spiky black hair with a blue tint, which was long and had hung over his face like bangs. He had a dark black jacket with dark blue jeans. The girl had green eyes, pink hair which she wore with bangs. She had on a red jacket, with black pants.
Naruto knew them from some of the classes he had with them, "Oh? Ummm if I remember right, you're Hyuga Hinata, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, and Inuzuka Kiba right?" Then Naruto noticed another girl who was with them. She had fair white skin, blue eyes, platinum blonde hair up in a ponytail. With bangs framing the right side of her face. She had a black long jacket, which was a size bigger than her, a skirt that went down to her knees, and a pair of black boots that came up to her knees, "I'm sorry Miss… I don't think we've met before.
Before Hinata could respond the new girl said, "Hello there whiskers! My name is Yamanaka Ino! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Ino walked up and extended her hand out to Naruto.
Naruto smiled as he extended his hand out, "Nice to meet you too! I'm Uzumaki Naruto! But you can just call me Naruto, I'm not one usually for formalities. So, how can I help you guys?" Naruto tilted his head to the side wondering what they wanted.
Sasuke stepped forward and with a smile said, "We were wondering if you wanted to be our friend! We could hang out, get to know one another!"
"Yeah, I think it would be fun man!" Inuzuka said, giving Naruto a thumbs up.
"I think it'd be great to have you along!" Sakura chirped up as she moved a piece of her pink hair behind her ear.
"Y-Yes, I think it will be very fun to have you along, Naruto-kun." Hinata gave Naruto a sheepish smile as a tint of pink stained her cheeks.
*Back to the Hospital*
"Wait… so that's it the rest of the fall semester you began to hang out with them? Can't you sense their auras or something? You should have known they weren't good people." Nino looked at Naruto, confused by what he didn't do that. "You always use it on us, so why not then?"
Naruto rubbed the back of his head, "Well I don't always use it on you guys, I don't need to anymore. I can tell who is who by what your attire is, also I'm just able to know who is who now. Besides at the time, I didn't think they would do this to me."
"Wait, this Ino girl you never mentioned her before?" Mito looked at Naruto confused.
Naruto had another solemn look appear on his face, "I'll get to her later."
*Back to Flashback*
It's nearing the end of the school year with a few days before the summer break. Naruto had become pretty good friends with the others. Especially Kiba, he was Naruto's main man and the one he could always rely on. Though this was going to be an entirely new beginning for Naruto as he was confronted with a note in his locker. It confused Naruto but he realized it was a love letter of some sort. The note said, "Meet me on the roof at the top of the school building two days from now… Signed, Mysterious Admirer."
Naruto wanted to refuse it because Mito, not long before she left, asked Naruto to wait for her and when she came back to be his girlfriend. Naruto politely declined Mito, and Naruto did want to wait until Mito came back, but who knows when that would be. Naruto decided to wait, tell his mother, and see what goes from there.
After Naruto told Kushina what was going on, Kushina prodded him to try it out. See how it goes, and that not all relationships work out anyways. He could get some experience and wow Mito when she came back and if he decided to accept her feelings. So, Naruto relented and met at the top of the school. Naruto opened the door to find a girl staring off at the sunset. She had dark blue hair that flowed down to her back, "Hinata?"
The said girl turned around and smiled as the wind blew in her hair, "Hello, Naruto-kun…" The girl nervously walks up to Naruto as she pushed her fingers together nervously, "I see you got my letter… I was wondering what you thought."
Naruto scratched his head, he was a little surprised, "I see then… well yeah I got your letter. I'm here now, but I'm confused… why me? What do you possibly see in me?"
Hinata smiled as she nervously turned to the side as she said, "W-Well… N-Naruto-kun… you're kind, warm, gentle, and you're nice to others you don't even know. I've heard many good things, even if they're violent you had the right intentions. Top it all off, you're very smart too Naruto-kun, you're the top person in our school. Next to Sakura-san, I-I was hoping… y-you would go out with me."
Naruto was still trying to process that Hinata, a friend he knew since the end of the fall semester asked him out. They've all hung out on multiple occasions, going to the mall, arcade areas, movies, and casual lunches when they felt like it. Naruto took a deep breath in and let it out, "O-Okay then… though I must admit I don't know how to be a good boyfriend, I promise to do my best." Naruto gave her a big grin which gave him a foxlike appearance.
Since then, the two would often go out on dates once or even twice a week. Naruto began to do small part-time jobs here and there to make some extra money to spend on. The group all still got together to hang out and continue to be friends. Naruto was already warming up to Sasuke and Sakura too. Those two have been dating since they started high school, so they were close as ever.
Though, the one out of the group who wasn't in a relationship was Ino. So, Naruto made sure to keep in close contact with Ino almost every day. Naruto and she were close friends, and her favorite nickname for him was Foxy-kun of Whisker-kun when the situation called for it. So, Naruto would often call her Lespe, short for Lespedeza, also known as the bush clover, one of her favorite flowers. Naruto was closer to Ino than he was to Kiba and Sasuke combined.
Even still Naruto's and Hinata's relationship caught wind when they first started. The two-couple lasted throughout the summer. Naruto would often go out with her to buy her clothes when she wanted to. When he could, Naruto would buy her hoodies and jackets, since those were her favorite type of clothing too. Her favorite color was purple too, so Naruto did his best to please her. He bought her lunch and went out at night for dinner often. They went to amusement parks which he paid for. Naruto paid for a lot of Hinata's things, or activities they did together. That was because Naruto wanted to be a good boyfriend. Not only that, but he found himself falling in love with Hinata.
She was a very nice girl, very sweet, headstrong at times, and always positive. She did her best to brighten up Naruto's day and made sure to make him feel loved back. On occasion, she would pay for Naruto when she wanted to. Naruto met her dad, Haishi Hyuga, in mid-summer which he got along with. Naruto also met Hinata's little sister, Hanabi Hyuga, she is very formal and appears to be like that of a princess or something.
Though before Naruto knew it he was head over heels for Hinata. The two became very close and were often tied to each other's hips. Though, it did bother Naruto a bit, after all this time. You'd think they would have kissed by now. Though, then again, he didn't want to rush into things headfirst.
Soon the next school year started up and Naruto was in his freshman year in high school. Naruto came to school normally, Hinata said she had to take a detour. Naruto shrugged it off, it wasn't any of his business if Hinata had something else to attend to. Naruto made his way into school and found Ino, "Yo! Ino what's up! Been a while since I've seen ya. Why haven't you been hanging out with us?"
Ino looked at Naruto a bit confused, "Haven't they told you? I stopped hanging out with them." Ino seemed to have an upset look on her face.
"Why's that? That makes no sense?" Naruto wanted to know what was wrong, plus lately when Naruto has seen it. It was only him and her hanging out because she wanted to see him. Every time they saw one another, Ino seemed skinnier and skinnier every time they met. He didn't know why.
"N-Naruto… Hinata… those "friends" you call them. Aren't your friends, they were playing me and you…" Ino looked down at the ground as she rubbed her arm over her bicep, "We can talk more about this later Naruto." Ino turned around and left to go to her class. This left a stupefied Naruto confused, he hasn't noticed anything out of the ordinary about them. Sure, maybe they had a reason why Ino and they weren't hanging out anymore.
Naruto was deep into thought as he made his way to class. Though, it did begin to dawn on him. He remembers that about a week ago Hinata asked him to stop talking to Ino. He thought she was joking so he replied with a simple, 'Sure.' Not meaning any of it. Naruto continued to think about it and remembered times when Hinata would ask Naruto to pay for a lot of her clothes. He remembers how that one time he had no money left in the bank since he paid for her clothing.
Naruto shook his head and went to class. Naruto sat through the entirety of the class, and none of his 'friends' showed up to school. Naruto made his way towards Hinata's house once school was over. Naruto made his way through the yard, by the way, Hiashi is an owner of a car dealership, and Naruto made his way to the door. He rang the doorbell and he found Haishi at the door, "Ah, Naruto-kun are you looking for my daughter?"
"Hai, Hyuga-san, is she alright?" Naruto asked worriedly.
Haishi raised an eyebrow, "She told me she was feeling lightheaded and ill this morning. Did she not tell you Inuzuka-san was here to help her? I'm surprised she didn't ask you? Did you two get into a fight?"
Naruto waved it off, "I'm sure Hinata had her reasons. Hinata and Kiba are friends, and if they have to lean on one another that's fine." Naruto smiled nonchalantly.
"I see, please, they're upstairs in her room watching a movie." Haishi moved to the side, allowing Naruto in. Naruto stepped in and bowed to Haishi and took his shoes off. Naruto made his way up the stairs.
Naruto got to the second floor and found Hanabi, "Hey Hanabi! How was school?"
Hanabi looked at Naruto confused, "Uzumaki-san… why are you here?"
Naruto tilted his head hurt and placed a hand over his heart, "I'm hurt Hanabi! I thought I told you to call me Onii-chan or Nii-chan!"
Hanabi shook her head, and understood what was going on, "Inuzuka-teme and Onee…-san are in the room." Hanabi quickly began to make her way downstairs with an upset look on her face. Hanabi didn't use -sama at the end of Hinata's name like she usually does.
Naruto scratched his cheek, "Did I say something wrong?" Naruto continued to walk to Hinata's room, but he stopped when he heard squeaking. Naruto turned the doorknob and opened it, but Naruto looked at the scene in the room. Naruto stood there completely dumbfounded, he found Hinata and Kiba butt naked screwing one another. Naruto saw Hinata orgasm as Kiba came inside of her, without a condom, and the two fell onto the bed. Naruto simply said, "Kiba… Hinata…. What the hell…"
Kiba and Hinata turned their heads to see Naruto. Kiba simply sat up, "Hey, what's up Naruto… do you mind?"
"What?! Mind!?" Naruto growled out angrily, "Hinata! What is the meaning of this!"
Hinata sat up as she regained her breath. Hinata simply giggled as she placed a hand over her mouth, "Oh, my sweet dear Naruto-kun. Seems you found out, you know this isn't the first time you know."
"W-What?! H-Hinata! Y-You mean… Do you mean you've been cheating on me this entire time?! Kiba… what the hell man?!" Naruto looked at the two in udder shock, he was completely taken back by this.
"Sorry bro, but a girl has needs and you don't fit them." Kiba smirked as Hinata crawled over and popped his dick in her mouth.
Naruto stood there in shock as he gripped his hands tightly. Naruto truly did fall in love with Hinata. To see this destroyed him, Naruto had a look of pure sadness on his face. He was angry, but that was immediately taken over by sadness. Naruto got to experience true love for the first time in his life. Naruto's reality was completely shattered, it was all a lie, she lied to him, they both lied to him. Naruto's love for her was never there, it was all fake, her smiles, her kisses she placed on her cheek. Her personality, it was all fake, the expensive clothing he'd buy for her when she asked him to. All of it, it was a lie, all a rouse to get to him, to use him.
Hinata giggled as she sat back up licking her lips, "So, sorry Naruto-kun, but you're just not all there. Not the man I was looking for especially. Though, thanks for all the expensive clothes, I'll be keeping those. Though, the shabby clothes you would buy me normally, I don't have any use." Hinata shrugged her shoulders, "Anyways, you can go now, I'm busy." Before Hinata lowered herself onto Kiba she did say, "Oh, and I do appreciate all the times I ask you to pay for my meals, including for everyone else too. It was fun while it lasted, too bad it couldn't have lasted longer. Though… I must say, I can't believe you never noticed I was using you. As smart as you are, you're pretty dumb." Hinata sat down letting out a moan of pleasure. She opened her eyes and said, "That was pretty much it, oh and if you decide to try to soil, my reputation. I'll make sure to make the rest of your life a living hell." Hinata glared at Naruto as she then turned to Kiba, kissed him fully on the lips. The two began to ignore him as if he wasn't even there, that he wasn't even significant.
Naruto turned around and left as he didn't even bother closing the door, "After everything… after all I did for her, the things I bought her. The clothes, the time, my job, everything! It was all a lie?! Hinata and Kiba used me?! Was Sakura and Sasuke in on this or what?! H-How did Ino find out about this?! O-Or was I truly that stupid to not realize what was going on behind my back?" Naruto made his way to the first floor and opened the entrance to the house. Naruto slipped his backpack on and his shoes then turned to leave.
Before he left Hanabi said, "Trust is just like a piece of paper once it's crumpled and torn it can't be perfect again. Uzumaki-san… I hope you find someone like that again someday."
Like that Naruto shot out of the shoot like a bullet, he didn't know where he was running, but he kept going. Tears ran down his cheeks, Naruto's heart throbbed, and he felt his anger, hatred, and sadness rising. Naruto had a mix of emotions running through his mind not knowing what to feel or what to think. This entire time, their friendship, their relationship, it was all a lie. Why did they trick him? Why even ask him out in the first place? Why do this to him?
Naruto continued to run until he came to a stop and found himself at the playground. He had tears streaming down his face. Soon two people came walking up, "Oi! Naruto!" Naruto turned his head as he wiped tears from his face. He saw Sakura and Sasuke walking up to him, "N-Naruto? W-Whats wrong?" Sakura looked at him worriedly.
"Yeah, dude, what's up. I've never seen you like this." Sasuke placed a hand on his shoulder.
Naruto tried to regain his composure, maybe the two weren't in on what Hinata and Kiba did, "I-It's Hinata and Kiba… t-those two… lied to me. I thought Hinata wasn't feeling well or whatever. She had Kiba come over… when I got there to see her… she-… the two were… Oh, Kami!" Naruto felt more tears roll down his face as he felt a stabbing pain in his heart.
Just then he heard laughing as he wiped his tears to see Sasuke and Sakura laughing, "Jeez! About damn time! Ahahahah! So, this is how you'd look! This is hilarious!" Sakura chuckled as she made sure to take mental pictures of this.
"W-What?" Naruto looked at the two confused, were those two in on this too?
Sasuke laughed, "About damn time." Sasuke turned to Sakura who then walloped Sasuke in the cheek causing a bruise to appear on his cheek.
"Sakura… Sasuke… what are you?" Before Naruto could say anything Sasuke punched Naruto directly in the face causing him to stumble over.
Naruto quickly rolled back to his feet but found Sakura trying to punch him too. Naruto quickly dodged her attacks and said, "W-What the hell are you two doing?! W-Why are you?!" Just then Sasuke came from the side and punched Naruto in the cheek causing him to fall over and slide into the mud. Naruto quickly stood up in a defensive stance, "What the hell are you two doing?!"
Sasuke smirked as he said, "It's not hard you brain-dead idiot, making sure you keep quiet. It's simple, this is self-defense. You punched me." Sasuke pointed to the bruise on his face where Sakura punched him, "Sakura and I defended ourselves."
"By any means necessary." Sakura finished as she charged at Naruto, Naruto noticed Sakura was holding a taser and ran up to Naruto.
Naruto again dodged out of the way and quickly dodged a strike from Sasuke. However, arms appeared around and Naruto grabbed his shoulders and held him in the air. Naruto turned his head to see some tall Japanese guy holding him in place. He had big burly arms and was able to hold Naruto. Naruto couldn't break out of the man's hold. (A/N: Please keep in mind Chakra is very limited in this world, and Naruto just barely has a bit more than the normal person would have to survive).
Just then Naruto felt a fist drive into his stomach causing him to gasp for air. Naruto continued to be beaten to a pulp by Sasuke and Sakura, the two continued to wail at him. Once Naruto stopped resisting, the big guy dropped Naruto. He walked away after Sasuke handed him some money from Naruto's wallet. Sasuke continued to kick and punch while Naruto was on the ground and Sakura continued to do the same. Naruto didn't know how long they went, but they didn't stop there. Naruto then felt sparks of electricity run through his body as Sakura jabbed her taser into Naruto's right side as hard as she could. She held that taser there for a long time, Naruto didn't know how long.
But it was long enough to cause Naruto to blackout.
A day later Naruto found himself in the hospital, he opened his eyes to find platinum blonde hair sprawled out on his bed. Naruto looked up to see his mother and Naruko asleep in her mother's arm in a chair. Naruto looked to his left and right and then looked up at the ceiling, "That's right… they… they tricked me…they did this to me… I-I can't believe it." Naruto moved his hand and placed it onto Ino's head.
Ino stirred from her sleep as she felt a hand on her head. Ino quickly got onto the bed hugging Naruto, "Naruto! You're okay! You're okay! Thank Kami!" Ino was pulling Naruto into a hug with tears running down her cheeks.
Naruto placed a hand on his head as he leaned his head back, "W-What… how long was I out… I remembered being grabbed from behind and."
Just then Naruto saw his mother and Naruko stir from their sleep. Naruko was the first to leap onto the bed, "Onii-chan! Are you feeling better?! It's been almost two whole days!"
Kushina quickly went to Naruto's side, "Oh Naruto, who did this to you? What happened? I know you can defend yourself so who were the people who teamed up on you?"
Naruto thought for a moment and remembered everything. Naruto frowned, everything began to make sense, "Them… they all set me up after all this time. Ino… you had no idea about them, did you?"
Ino shook her head, "I-I didn't even know they were doing this… Naruto did Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, and Kiba do this to you?"
Naruto shook his head as he looked on, embarrassed. He was ashamed really, he thought back to a lot of the times they hung out. Whether it was just him and Hinata, that or it was them all together. Naruto didn't realize Ino stopped hanging with them a week ago, this was a lot for him to take in. Naruto went to speak, "S-Sasuke… and Sakura did this to me. They attacked me first, but not before acting like my friend first. Until I told them what Hinata and Kiba were doing, that's when they showed their true colors." Naruto began to explain the story, but in the end, Naruto couldn't take this to the police. Mainly because they had no evidence of Naruto not instigating the fight. As much as it infuriated Kushina, there wasn't a whole lot she could do either. It angered her a lot, but again what would the police do? Slap them on the wrists and tell them to not do it again?
Kushina did have to ask, "Honey, what was it about Hinata and Kiba?"
Naruto looked up at his mother as tears formed in the corner of his eyes, "I-I went to the Hyuga residence… Hyuga-san, Haishi, seemed to have no idea what was going on. The two have been having sex behind my back. Not once did I ever kiss Hinata, I never minded it too much. Thought… we were taking it slow… I didn't want to push anything onto her." Naruto had streams of tears running down his cheeks.
Kushina could only pull her son into a hug, she couldn't believe this, "This is my fault… I pushed him to do this. I shouldn't have… but that Hinata girl seemed to be so genuine..." "I'm so sorry Naruto… I'm so sorry…"
Naruto shook his head, "It was my fault Kaa-san… I was the one who went with it. I was too blind to see what was going on."
Ino then placed her hands on his cheeks, "No! None of it was either of your fault!" Ino sternly looked at Kushina and Naruto.
"Yeah! Ino-nee is right! How could have you two known?!" Naruko didn't have a hint of sadness for her mother and brother. It was neither one of their faults, it was Hinata and the others.
"Besides, don't let them win, this is what they want Naruto." Ino smiled as she leaned in and rested her head in the crook of Naruto's neck.
Kushina saw this and smiled as she backed up. Kushina knew who Ino was, but never officially met her until now. It was clear to her that Ino might have a crush on her Naruto, maybe Ino was what Naruto needed to move on. Kushina smiled as she said, "Well… for now be careful Naruto, I'll go get you some lunch. Come on Naruko, let's go." Kushina stood up to leave and extended her hand out for Naruko to grab, which she did. Before Kushina walked out she peeked back in, she saw Ino and Naruto huddling close together.
With that Naruto's mother left, leaving the two alone. Naruto let himself calm down and helped him stop crying. Naruto wiped his tears and looked at Ino who looked up at him. Naruto smiled as he said, "I wish I wasn't so blind and stupid sometimes Ino… thanks you're truly a friend I can count on. I'm sorry, I wished I noticed sooner you stopped hanging out with us. They told me you wanted to stop hanging out with us."
Ino shook her head as she giggled saying, "No way I'd want to stop hanging out with my whisker-kun. I've just been rather busy is all." Ino seemed to have a solemn smile on her face.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Ino, what's wrong? Is there something bothering you?"
Ino shook her head, she extended her hand out, "So what do you say Naruto? Do you want to continue hanging out? I was thinking of going to an amusement park that isn't too far away?"
Naruto brightened up and decided to go there and then curb any relations or thoughts about Hinata and the others. They weren't of importance anymore, it was Ino and only Ino. Which made Naruto's cheeks heat up and with a small smile he said, "Yeah! I'd be happy to! I think it will be fun! Just us two." Naruto had a big grin appear across her face.
Time Skip Next Day
Naruto came walking into school and was approached by a man. He was wearing a black business suit. He had long ash-blond hair reaching into his lower back, which he wore spiky on top and ending in a long ponytail, light green eyes, and strong facial features, which included a well-defined jawline. The man walked up to Naruto and smiled, extending his hand out, "Hello there, you must be Uzumaki-kun?"
"Uhh yes, I am." Naruto reached out and shook the man's hand, "Who are you, sir?"
The man crossed his arms over his chest and said, "Well I am Yamanaka-"
The man was interrupted as a voice spoke up from behind him, "Tou-chan!" Naruto and the man turned their heads to see Ino running up to them. Ino stopped at the man's side, "Tou-chan! Naruto-kun! I'd like for you two to meet each other! Naruto! My Tou-chan is the superintendent of the school here! He heard about your situation and decided to help you out!"
Naruto raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, "How so?"
The man chuckled as he looked at his daughter's smiling face, and then at Naruto. The man reached into his pocket from his coat and pulled out a piece of paper, "As I was saying, I am Yamanaka Inoichi, I am Ino-chan's Tou-chan. She told me of your spat with her old friends. Quite frankly, I've never heard anything good from them. Nothing bad either, but I've heard a lot of good from you. Actually… that's all Ino-chan talks about." Inoichi chuckled as Ino glared up at him.
"Tou-chan! Don't embarrass me like that! You big baka!" Ino playfully punched her father's arm.
Inoichi composed himself after his little banter with his daughter, "Anyways, I had favor from the school board to cash in. So, I asked them to move your classes to the same as Ino. I figured then you'd avoid your unsavory friends."
Naruto accepted the piece of paper, "Thanks a lot Yamanaka-sama, I appreciate this! Ino is truly a wonderful friend. I am very grateful for her!"
Inoichi smiled as he said, "I'm glad! You take care of my daughter, you hear young man?" Inoichi turned to leave the car and opened the door. However, he stopped before going in and placed a hand on the hood of the car, "See you later Ino! Until we meet again Uzumaki-kun!" The man turned to his car and got in.
"Come on Naruto! Let's go!" Ino grabbed a hold of his hand and took off to his classes with her. Naruto was dragged to class as he had a bright smile on his face. Ino, reminded him a lot of Mito, and her confession to him. Though, it made Naruto's heart waver when he thought of Ino. For now, he would see how things go.
This made Naruto think back to the dates he had with Hinata, he felt ashamed for not seeing it sooner. Naruto would make sure to remember this, so he would never make the same mistake again. Hopefully, Ino could be that one to help him come to trust again.
Naruto knew did some thinking when got some alone time. Naruto began to notice the changes after their sixth or seventh date. The first time they went to the movies, they enjoyed one another companies. Hinata even rested her head on his shoulder when they watched the movie. The second decided to meet up and go to the mall shopping. Hinata promised it wouldn't be too long, but Naruto was fine with it. Anything for his Hime, right?
For a while, all of Naruto's dates went well, without any hitches. That was until their sixth or seventh date. Naruto began to notice Hinata seemed to get bored easily. He didn't know what it was. The frequency of their dates was about three or four times a month. Naruto knew she was already close friends with Kiba. He wasn't about to tell her to stop hanging out with Kiba. He was her friend, so he didn't care or mind at all. Naruto trusted Hinata, relationships can't work without one.
There were multiple times Naruto found himself paying a lot for Hinata's clothing. He was never able to buy her anything expensive like a nice necklace or bracelet. Naruto never made enough, mainly due to them being part-time jobs. Though Naruto began to increasingly notice Hinata wanting some of the expensive jewelry. Though Naruto could never afford it, he would do what he could to scrape up the money to buy Hinata some really expensive designer clothes. When he did he swore he saw little to no gratitude. Though she would always reply with, "Oh… I like them, thank you." Naruto never once saw her wear them. He never knew why.
There was also food, but that was normal for the most part. Naruto would often pay for Hinata when they went out to eat. Including when hanging out with Sasuke, Sakura, Kiba, and Ino. Though, that was before Ino stopped hanging with the group. Though, it began to happen more frequently and to the point where Naruto hit 500 yen left on his debit account because of it. It frustrated Naruto because he was using the money only for himself and Hinata. Not everyone else, but again Naruto still kept saying he didn't mind. Because they were his friends and his friends are precious and important to him.
There was never a time when Sakura, Sasuke, or even Kiba paid him back. Naruto didn't expect Ino, because she brought her own money. That or she paid him back, but there were times when he didn't mind paying for Ino.
Hell, there were times when Naruto did buy Ino's clothes for her. Ino was the only one of their friends Naruto would go out of his way to pay for things for her. Which Ino deeply appreciated, more than Hinata could ever appreciate. It just took longer for Naruto to realize how much of a better friend Ino was than all three of the others combined.
Of course, those were the times when Hinata got jealous. Hinata would tell him once in a while to delete Ino's contact info and block her. That or outright stop hanging out with her or talking to her. Yet, Naruto's rebuttal was telling her to stop hanging out or seeing Kiba. Then again, Naruto for a fact wouldn't drop a friend if one told him to even if it was his girlfriend. Though it never dawned on Naruto that Hinata was a bit more than she led onto being.
Time Skip End of Spring Semester
Naruto finished his last year in middle school and was now in his first year in high school. After the incident with Hinata and the others, they found out they went to America to study abroad halfway through the spring semester. Naruto forgot about them completely and replaced his heart with Ino. No, they never dated or asked one another out. Nor did they ever confess to one another, for now, Naruto wanted to keep it as best friends. Naruto wasn't ready to go into another relationship so quickly.
He explained that he just wasn't ready to commit just so soon. Ino understood, but she was glad to just spend time with her foxy/whisker-kun. Naruto was happy to be just with his Lespe, word got around quickly that Naruto and Hinata broke up. Naruto didn't make any commotion that Hinata cheated on him. He figured drama like that wasn't needed so he kept quiet saying they broke up.
Ino and Naruto spent a lot of time at one another's houses playing video games, studying, or going out to socialize talking about school. Naruto found out that Ino was picking up cooking lessons from her mother. As well as floral décor from her too, apparently Ino was big into plants and taking care of them. Naruto began to pick up as well, in the beginning, he didn't like it.
He found it rather boring, but he soon learned to like it. Naruto is like the quick, face pace way of life. Though, making sure to stay as far away as from his sister's spotlight, Kasumi. Ino was a huge fan of her music which Ino got to meet her on several occasions and Naruto took her to concerts. Where Ino even got to see backstage and even perform as a dancer on stage for Kasumi.
Their summer was very eventful until Naruto began to notice small things changing about Ino. She seemed to become more lethargic and leaner. Her beautiful white pasty skin seemed to lose its shade. It was a week before school was going to start. Naruto was at the Yamanaka residence because he finally called Ino and asked her what was going on. Mainly because the past week they didn't hang out. Ino would say a lot that she had doctor appointments and Naruto didn't know why.
Naruto was there at their residence when he knocked on the door. Soon the door opened with Ino's mother smiling, "Oh, Naruto-kun, I'm glad you're here. Ino has been wanting to tell you this for a long time. So, please don't get too upset, okay?"
Naruto looked at Ino's mother confused. He sensed her aura and was very sad and worried. Yet happy because Naruto was here for Ino. Naruto made his way into the house and found Ino sitting on the couch. Naruto was a little taken back by the scene which worried him greatly, "Ino… what's going on? Why do you look like that…" Naruto was scared of what Ino's answer was going to be. Naruto felt his stomach drop just from looking at Ino and the condition she was in.
Ino smiled as she placed her hand on the seat next to the couch, "Naruto, promise me you won't get mad." Naruto stood up and walked over and sat next to her, "Just hear me out and you can say what you want once I'm done talking, okay whisker-kun?" Ino placed a hand on his cheek, rubbing it. Ino smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder. She reached her hand out, she wanted Naruto to hold it. Which Naruto did, he could tell Ino was nervous and worried and she felt… sickly. "Well, where do I begin… not long ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 Lymphoma Cancer. We've been seeing the doctor a lot lately and I've been getting treatments. One of the most effective ones, for my case since my body, isn't all that strong, to begin with. I'm going to be put into a medically induced coma for a few years. I'll continue to grow, but I won't wake up for a few years. I'll be awoken on my 18th birthday."
Naruto's eyes were wide as she told him this, "I-I… I'm not too sure what to say. Ino… why didn't you tell me sooner? You know how important you are to me."
Ino smiled as a tear went down her cheek, "I-I know… I'm sorry but you know with Hinata and how you that went. I didn't want to worry you anymore, what Hinata and Kiba did to you… I'll never forgive them. Even now you just got over it." Ino forced a smile as her body shook, "So don't worry about what will happen. I want you to continue living, even if you find someone else. I'll be happy for you."
Naruto's eyes began to water, "W-Wait… Ino what are you."
Ino placed a finger on his lip, and she shook his head, "All I ask is you continue to be my best friend Naruto Uzumaki. You're important to me, so I expect me to tell me great stories about all the friends you make! For now… can you be there for me when they put me under?" Ino gave Naruto a bright smile, a smile that radiated hope, love, and friendship.
Naruto was scared, he was, he was scared Ino would leave him, "P-Promise me… promise me you won't die on me…"
Ino giggled a bit as she moved in close to Naruto's face, "Silly Kitsune-kun, of course, I won't. I'm doing it so I can get better and be by your side once again!" Ino placed a soft kiss on Naruto's cheek, "I expect amazing stories to hear once we reunite again!"
Naruto relaxed and then asked, "So… when is it?"
"Tomorrow at 9:00 am, so, promise to be there for me?" Ino smiled as she tightened her grip a bit on Naruto's hand.
"I'll stay with you for now, and until they put you under. I'll promise to visit when I can." Naruto hugged her tightly which Ino returned and gently rubbed her back.
Once they released one another Ino said, "You're only allowed to visit on Fridays." Ino put her finger up to make a statement.
"W-Wait what?" Naruto looked at her confused as she placed a kiss on his lips. Naruto relented, "Okay Hime." Naruto knew the full grasp of the situation, Ino had a very rare cancer that no normal medicine nowadays could help heal her. The doctors have found a solution to slow the progression of cancer. So, they'll put her into a medically induced coma. That way she won't feel any pain while they work on her. Their work and medicine in this era can help slow cancer, but not get rid of it. So, they need time to advance their medical technology to combat this cancer.
End of Flashback
"So, that's really about it, they put her under. They've been doing studies on her and helping them advance their medical research." Naruto smiled as he kept his eyes closed, "I've been going to see her on Fridays when I can, if not I'd visit her the day before. She'll scold me for that, but I think she'll understand."
The Nakano quintuplets did not expect all of this from Naruto, and it surprised them that not even Mito knew about Ino, "So, out of curiosity why didn't you ever tell us about Ino?" Mito asked curiously.
"Well… from what Mr. and Mrs. Yamanaka have told me, Ino seems to have very few friends. She was sick and frail when she was young, to begin with. They never knew why, but they think after this. That Ino would be better, and she wouldn't get as sick as often." Naruto rubbed his fingers together looking at his hands, "Reason I never told you guys was… well at the time it used to be just me and Ino. She trusted me and only me, she wanted only me beside her family to be guests to come to visit her. She even wanted me to keep what she had going on under wraps. Only when I found people I could truly trust could I tell you about her."
Itsuki was the first to speak, "I think it would be lovely to go see Ino one day, I'd love to be her friend. She sound's wonderful and also has good tastes in friends."
"Yeah! Let's all get to see her! We'll make sure that she's super ready for what's ahead of us! Then we can celebrate when she's back up and going again!" Yotsuba cheered as the ribbons in her head jolted upwards with her emotions.
"Ara, it would be great to meet her. It seems you keep having more and more close friends, Naruto-kun." Ichika giggled as she placed a hand on his shoulder, "Ino is very lucky to have met an amazing person like you Naruto-kun."
Nino smiled as she crossed her arms under her breasts, "So what else did Ino like to do? She sounds like a girl who knows how to shop. Someone I'd get along with quite well."
Miku had a smile on her as she nodded, "Yes, this Ino girl sounds wonderful."
Mito smiled as she crossed her arms under her breasts, "So, there is more you've been keeping from me. Well, I'm glad you were able to make some friends you knucklehead… I swear, what am I going to do with you?"
Kasumi could only sigh, "That's Naruto for you, but he's loveable because of it."
Naruko could only cheer out, "Hehehe! Onii-chan has a lot of friends and they're all girls! Onii-chan, which one of them do you want to be your girlfriend?" Naruko wanted to know who Naruto liked the most.
"W-What?!" Naruto notices the Nakano quintuplets giving him an intense stare including Mito, "HEY! DON'T PUT ME IN THE SPOTLIGHT LIKE THAT! I-I d-doubt that they even feel that way about me." Naruto turned his head to the ceiling, he wanted to avoid the question if possible. Naruto isn't sure yet, he doesn't know, and nor does his heart know. It's hard for him to decide and it breaks his heart to know it would break theirs.
If Naruto was pushed, he would reject every single one of them, so he didn't hurt the other. Naruto would rather stay alone for the rest of his life than hurt their feelings. That's just who Naruto is, was made to be, and wants to be. This is how Naruto changed from a boy to a man meeting this new world.
"Come on, you guys want to go see her? I'm pretty sure I can trust you all." Naruto sent them all a big grin on his face. Naruto was proud really; he was proud he could call them all his friends.
A/N: Well, this is how I see it, as to how Naruto would act in this world. This stems off from my personality, I know Naruto would have it. I'm a person who is honest and sincere when with any partner. I feel like it's important to treat your special other very important. I would treat them like a queen, I would do what I could to give them the world. That's how important they would be to me. I know that would be a major downfall. Also, I can see this Naruto being very timid and docile back in middle school. Meaning it would be very, very easy for Hinata and the others to walk all over Naruto. As for Ino's illness, I'm pulling a Kishimoto and making it like an Itachi like disease soooooooo. Yeah... but Ino isn't dying… or is she? Also, about 10 or 15% of this was made up, the rest I had scripted out. The reason I made Naruto's and Hinata's dates so vague, was so I could allow you all to kinda interpret what happened. Btw I initially thought of just offing Ino, she'll live so… you're all welcome. Anyways I posted a picture of Ino on my Pinterest page! Anyways, Sage of Prophecy Out! Ja Ne!
