What do you mean, Oops?

Daniel Richardson, Flame User, dual pistol welder, Semi-member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and 'Chemist-Lab Buddy' of Usopp critically eyed a beaker that held a deep blue liquid that was cheerfully bubbling in that delightfully EVIL SCIENCE! way all chemists loved to see every once in a while as it was held over a Bunsen burner.

Sitting across from the make shift lab table in the hold of the Merry, Usopp and Chopper leaned in on their stools with looks of appreciation in their eyes even as Chopper asked "What is it Daniel?"

Daniel smirked and explained "The technical name's a real tongue twister but it's common name is the Bath Bomb's Big Brother. You mix this with water and it makes foam bubbles like you wouldn't believe."

"Cooool." Chopper said in awe.

Turning the Bunsen burner off, Daniel reached down under the bench and pulled out a box holding several glass spheres with glass walls splitting them in half and plastic lids that gave them a proper air tight seal. The spheres were resting in trays that kept them from hitting each other, twelve spheres per tray, three trays in all. Daniel took out the top tray and pushed the box back in its proper place. Then he pulled a jug of water over and began filling the right side of the spheres with the water. When he did that, he put away the water and stuck a small funnel in the other side of the first sphere before putting on a PPE glove and picked up the beaker.

His right hand ignited in purple Flames and he said "What I'm doing is propagating the reactive properties of the mixture so that way we can get more metaphorical bang per drop. You hit someone with one of these Usopp and it should be like they're at one of those raves where they fill a pit with soap bubbles."

"Nice." Usopp said with a grin as he watched Daniel carefully pour the blue liquid into the first sphere.

When all of the spheres were filled, sealed, and carefully stored in Usopp's bag, Daniel poured the remaining cup's worth of liquid into both sides of a pair of propagated spheres. He gave one to Usopp then held the other one in his hand with a grin as he asked "Would you two like to go above decks and see a demonstration?"

"Yeah!" The pair cheered together before eagerly following Daniel out of the room.

Once above decks, Daniel chucked the sphere overboard as far as he could without propagating his arm strength. The small ball landed just over two football fields from the ship and barely a second later there was a massive 'explosion' of foam. When it stopped growing, the mass of foam was a good three hundred feet wide and fifty feet tall.

Turning back to the others with a grin, Daniel said "Now, admittedly we got all of that due to the ocean being salt water and there is a lot more of said water than what's in those spheres but I think you get the idea."

"That was awesome!" Luffy shouted from his favorite spot on Merry's figurehead.

"Thanks for this Daniel." Usopp said with a grin.

Daniel gave a wave of the hand and a "No problem." Before he began climbing up the closest rope ladder to join Zoro in the crow's nest.

Thirty seconds after he reached the crows nest later, he heard the sound of glass hitting the floor and Luffy's voice saying "Oops."

Having a bad feeling, Daniel leaned over the Crows Nest railing and looked down as he asked "What do you mean, Oops?"

Sure enough, as he feared, the second sphere full of the Bath Bomb's Big Brother was on the deck with the fluid pouring out. And wouldn't you know it, a wave chose that time to hit the ship throwing water up onto the deck.

"Uh-oh." Chopper whimpered.

The next moment, the Merry was covered in foam that was twenty feet deep with foam flowing over the sides.

As Nami began screeching at them from where she had been tending to her orange trees, Daniel sighed and shook his head as he told Zoro "SO glad I decided to come up here."

Zoro simply chuckled as he enjoyed the chaos down below. The pair COULD have got rid of the foam in their own ways, but where was the fun in that?
