Final Day of the War Part 2 and Epilogue

Messiah

Nova Trooper Kira Yamato enters the Messiah to confront Chairman Gilbert Durandal as Zaft Defenses begins to crumble at the hands of the Galactic Empire, the 3 Ship Alliance and their allies. Kira armed with his E-11 Blaster Rifles finally and confronts Durandal who was there waiting for him and he is armed with a Pistol which only be useless against Kira bullet proof Nova Trooper Armor.

"I would been expecting to meet with my Universe Kira Yamato but instead I'm confronted by his counterpart, Kira Yamato of the Galactic Empire", after this Kira aims his E-11 Blaster Rifle him and Durandal aims his Pistol.

"Are you sure that's what you want? If I die here, this Universe will be thrown back into chaos, I'm not fooling around it is the truth", Durandal warns Nova Trooper Kira what will happened if he dies, also Rey who returned to the Messiah and Durandal will keep Kira talking so Rey can kill him but Kira also notice Rey as well thanks to his Helmet's Heads Up Display but there's nothing to worry about because his Nova Trooper Armor is bullet proof anyway.

"What your predicting after your gone is only decided by Humanity's free will, plus you have to die because of your role as the Sith Empire's pawn alongside Blue Cosmos and LOGOS, plus as long as Humanity exist there will always be violence in them because everything that we do is done by our own free will, but I know everyone can change. And I know there is nothing bad about Lacus or Sinon because they are nothing like that."

"If that's what you want to believe but let's say you shoot me dead, what happens if your enemies like the Sith Empire returns to finish what they failed to do and you and the Galactic Empire are not here to stop them again?"

"The people of Cosmic Era will fight on", this stuns Rey realizing that even if the Galactic Empire isn't in Cosmic Era to defend everyone once more from the Sith Empire if they ever return the people will still fight on anyway.

"They will do what they must even if we are absent!" As everyone prepare to fire Talia shows up and prepare to shoot but Nova Trooper Kira lowers his E-11 Blaster Rifle realizing that Durandal will be shot but not by him.

Durandal wounded by a gunshot to the chest collapses on the floor and realizes it was Rey who did it and Talia runs to Durandal's side, "Talia was it you who shot me?" "No Gilbert it was Rey who did it", they both look at a tearful Rey, "I believe in Kira's words and everyone can move to a new tomorrow!"

"Talia Gladys!"

"I have son, tell your counterpart to meet him someday", that's Talia's final wish and Kira leaves as Messiah begins to get destroyed in the process, Rey then comes to their side and Rey sees an image Raul Le Creuset one last time.

"Mother", Rey acknowledge Talia as his mother since he view Gilbert Durandal as his father as well.

Meanwhile

Shinn wakes up after dreaming of seeing Stella one last time and sees Lunamaria being grateful that he is alive, they both cried together knowing the war is finally over and the Galactic Empire alongside their allies have won, as the Messiah collapses and is destroyed taking Durandal, Talia and Rey along with it everyone watches it happened, Kira onboard his Dark Strike Freedom makes it back to the Fleet.

All of the crew of the Minerva made it to safety and they have witness the destruction of the Messiah.

"Make contact with the Gondwana", Lacus orders Meyrin to get her contact with the Gondwana so she can convince them to stand down and tell them that the War is finish now and there is no need to keep fighting now.

"Attention all Zaft Forces the battle is over and the war is finally over, there is no need to continue fighting now!" While Lacus keeps talking the Gondwana and the remaining Nazca-Class Destroyers and Laurasia-Class Frigates shoot out flares telling everyone that the battle is now over.

Few Days later everyone celebrates the end of the War and all factions under the Galactic Empire signs a treaty and truce which really puts an end to the War. Finally Lacus onboard her Eternal escorted by the Archangel, Acclamator-Class Assault Ship, Victory-Class Star Destroyers, Tector-Class Star Destroyers, Venator-Class Star Destroyers and Imperial-Class Star Destroyers returns home to the a secondary PLANTS that's located elsewhere as the original begins reconstruction.

The people who died there are also being honored and mourn at the same time.

Kira, Lacus, Meyrin, Athrun, Shinn and Lunamaria visit the memorial of the ones that were lost in the previous war, Kira was introduce to Shinn which surprised him to learn that Kira was the pilot of the original Freedom Gundam and then the Strike Freedom Gundam. After this they all parted ways and enjoy their time of peace and made their farewell to the Galactic Empire who are going to return home to their Universe to continue the still on going Galactic Civil War against the Sith Empire.

When Kira and Lacus reunited in the place they hugged much to everyone's shock and surprise.

As for Meer Campbell, she now accepts being her original self and continues her pop songs because Lacus is now retired from that.

Acclamator-Class Assault Ship

"Things are different out here without Durandal, Blue Cosmos, Logos and the Sith Empire on it", Lord Nihilus commented to Nova Trooper Kira about how different on how different Cosmic Era is without the enemies on it.

"Yeah, at least we all know Cosmic Era can have it's rest from War", Kira said as Lord Nihilus sits down his command chair.

"Take us home", then the entire Galactic Imperial Fleet jumps to hyperspace to return home to their universe.
