Good day peeps! I hope all is well. My name is Sh4d3r, also known as Van to others. I'm fairly new to FanFiction but not new to writing fanfics. The site that I used to post on was taken down, so I post here instead. As far as stories, I prefer writing romances but I also love fantasy, action, comedy, drama, etc. You'll get the gist of that if/when you read my stuff! My interests as far as FanFictions are endless. I've read a lot of different ones and I have also written and scrapped a few of my own. Currently, I'm working on my rewriting Skyrim FanFiction, Wounds of Time (the title will change as well). I'm also writing a Maid-Sama!/Tora Igarashi story. I imagine that once those are finished, I will start/finish some of my other works.

1. What does your name mean?

Sh4d3r was just a cool way of typing out Shader, which I thought was the coolest name ever when I was 11 years old. Times have changed but F it, it stuck.

2. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?

Hmmmm...This is hard...Hmmmm...Probably something cool like Ember(Ha!), Nebula, Cinder, I don't know. Something different.

3. Where were you born?

Phoenix, Arizona, USA

4. Which of your parents are you closest to?

My mom. I'm very over protective of her.

5. Which of your parents are you more like?

I'd say neither. Or maybe both? I don't know. I'm not really like the rest of my family. My father is kind of an @$$ and my mom is REALLY passive. I'm not passive in any way and I'm only an @$$ if you strike first! :D

6. What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender?

Cody. They should have kept it to be honest. It's WAY better than the one they picked for me.

7. What do you call your grandparents?

Grandma and Grandpa

8. What is your best physical feature?

I get the most compliments on my eyes. I have greenish, blueish, gold-ish, Idon'tevenknow-ish colored eyes. I won "Best Eyes" in the yearbook in High School. I also won "Most Sarcastic"...

9. What is your favorite color?

Dark Red

10. What is your favorite food?

Boneless Buffalo Wings. Sooooo yum.

11. What is your favorite song?

Hmmm...This is a toughy...I'd say...Probably Girl With Golden Eyes by Sixx:AM. It's about heroin which is unpleasant, but I interpreted the lyrics differently when I first heard it. Some more of my favorites are Easier by Mansionair, When the Party's Over by Billie Eilish, Brief Encounter by Dawn Golden, and a lot more!

12. What was your favorite TV show when you were a child?

Probably Charmed or Buffy. Cartoon-wise, I loved Dexter's Lab, Scooby Doo, and Samurai Jack.

13. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?

Depends on the situation, I suppose. You gotta pick your battles carefully!

14. Are you a dog person or cat person?

Dog. 100000000% Dog.

15. Do you sing in the shower?

Hell yes I do.

16. Do you sleep with the lights on or off?

Off. If there's even a spec of light, I have problems.

17. Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why?

Shoot straight. I don't like it when people beat around the bush.

18. Do you have a tattoo?

Yep, just one for now. My dog passed away a few years ago and I stamped his paw and had the paw print tattooed on my ankle.

19. Do you have pets?

Yep. Two dogs.

20. What is your most embarrassing moment?

I sent a text to my boyfriend at the time that said "Goodnight Sexy." As it turned out, I had accidentally sent it to my teacher...AWKWAAAARRRRD

21. What is your most used swear word?

F*CK. :)

22. How difficult is it for you to be honest, even when your words may be hurtful or unpopular?

I am honest and sometimes, brutally so. As previously mentioned, I don't like to sugarcoat things. If people ask my opinion, I'm going to give them an honest one. If it's an opinion that I know they won't appreciate or don't need at that time in their life, I keep it to myself.

23. How difficult is it for you to forgive someone who refuses to apologize?

Very difficult when it's a repeat offender. I'm a strong believer in "just because you don't understand something/someone, that doesn't make you right", so I'm pretty understanding and I forgive people fairly easily and reasonably. I usually hope for the same treatment. But if they're not sorry, it makes it difficult.

24. Have you ever suffered a fracture?

Yep. I broke my wrist pretty badly. I was standing on a chair and it broke. The fall was not a good one.

25. What is a strange occurrence you’ve experienced but have never (or rarely) shared with anyone?

So, I've shared this experience with very few people, and I'd call it more creepy than strange. The short story is that I was receiving love poems via text along with some very flattering, but odd messages. It took a bit of time, but I found out that my secret admirer was my 56 year old pizza man that was married with two kids. He apparently stole my info from my pizza order to text me. It was very weird...

26. What is one thing you’d rather pay someone to do than do yourself? Why?

Drive. I HATE driving. I get really anxious and where I live, people do not drive well.

27. What is on the walls of the room you are in?

A very large Starfox 64 tapestry. I'm going to add some more stuff too but that's it for now.

28. What is something you are gifted at?

Piano...ish? I can't read music but I've been playing piano for a really long time.

29. What kind of car do you drive?

Maroon 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Her name is Bessy! :D

30. What religion will you raise your children to practice?

I don't plan on having any children but if I did, I would raise them to be whoever they wanted to be and believe whatever they wanted to believe. I think it's important for all people to be respectful of other's beliefs and individuality. Everyone has the right of free will. If you don't agree with what someone is doing, that's fine. Walk away and continue your life so they can do the same.
