Swanick Ikardi begins to go back to the camp. as he is being called again for upcoming stuff that is about to be brief by a genestealer named Mruck to Swanick. so Swanick begins to stand in front of him and begin to get ready for what briefing that he is about to bring to him.

he also sees some unarmed Termagant tyranid, messing around with a stolen mechanicus cogitator, and others in the bulletin board that was listed, and yes this is not normal for what tyranid would do either.

Genestealer Mruck: So, we've come to the conclusion that we'll need to investigate the people, industries, religions, and politics of this region. are on our top upcoming fact-finding mission.

Swanick: an investigation huh? that sounds a great idea. best of luck to whoever the dummy, who gets that job.

Mruck: congratulation dummy! It's all yours!

Swanick: please not me.

Mruck: huh

Swanick: I can't do something like that myself.

Mruck: don't worry you, dummy, we don't entrust all of that to you. we've already organized the 6 deep recons and surveillance units we need, and your officer will command one of them. your mission will be making contact with the inhabitants within the area, and if you don't get your ass shut up. start a friendly relationship with them

Swanick: uhh sure I guess if it is an order.

Mruck: as it much as it pains me to say this. you are officially in command of the third recon and surveillance unit.

Outside of the camp. he begins to wander around for a while and sees what progress that the tyranid had made around, as rapid construction of the base just begin to go faster, as there is a demand on it in the order of the hive tyrant, as he keeps doing his desk job.

Swanick begins to get nervous about how he was now assigned to the 3rd recon team. he begins seeing 4 big tyranids for the ride, for the recon. he has around 12 tyranid under his command now, this is approriate for his rank, as a tyranid warrior prime always command smaller tyranid forces, well he could try on commanding a far smaller one which is around 12 tyranids.

Tyranid warrior: third recon ready for duty sir. (he said as he salutes his commander.)

Swanick: thanks for following up, I'm senior officer Swanick Ikardi. nice to meet you all. damn it, I expect I could enjoy my otaku hobbies but in the end, I was here. well gotta lead these platoons then. (he introduced himself to the third recon team nervously, as he had some lazy attitude begin to show off.)

Swanick: alright let's get cracking folks.

The rest begin to go riding the. except for the tyrannofex here are told not to be mounted. as this big guy plays an important role later on, as the tyrannofex wields such a big weapon, which could be some sort of rocket launcher or heavy weapons. while the maleceptor are going to act as the mounts along with the haruspex too. as those people could carry many people on their backs. this is all just part of the plan of the hivemind.

The 12 of those tyranids, begin to go onboard to their recon mission. as these three tyranid begin to go their way as the map that their superior tell them where to go, told them so. so they keep following the dirt path, and try to find any native in this feudal world and not to eat them but it was ordered by the hivemind to make friendly relationships with them.

as those big tyranids are still going to the dirt path. the haruspex is told to close its mouth and not to open it widely in order to not scare the native. the hivemind gives the tyranids order and they do it so. thus some good ol' relaxing and seeing the beauty of nature, but for the tyranid of the 3rd recon team, they must do this because the script said so.

they begin to go to a village that was named Coda, and yes the first impression will be hard, as their mere appearance itself would already freak out the villagers. so this one is going to be hard for them, and they must try to be friendly as ever in order to approach the villager. this is due to their common appearance look like a literal monster, that would be wanted to eat them. this is going to be hard to convince. so there should be one of these tyranid will go, as the lictor is going to cloak himself, on the environment.

Then one of the termagent makes a move and tries being nice and waves a hand towards the villager as he is saying hi to them. Number 2 does this job and try telling them that the tyranid is not a monster, but just some friendlies who are doing a recon mission and make friendly relationship with the locals on the region.

So with the map was known, as the village chief told them. there is a place of an elven village that could be located. but they just didn't know what it is, they only could conclude that these people are eldar exodites. but nevertheless, they must stick to the script. so they have to go en route to the elven village, as the elder village has shown them where to go.

Meanwhile en route, to the elven village

The 12 tyranids begin their travel. with Swanick in front, as those maleceptors are the one that was in front of the convoy. this is some nice little road trip for them. as what they look around the environment.

Swanick: man it's nice out here, just like what I hope it would be.

Geck 388: come on officer, this is just an average day.

Swanick: I mean for me, I see some freaking dragons flying around, though maybe there is more of those flying reptiles.

Geck 388: just look at the towns we see. just some boring human feudal world. I'm very disappointed.

Swanick: uh yeah you got your catgirl thing.

Geck 388: a catgirl or a hot little psyker's. yeah, I could literally go to one of those. so yeah you got yourself a preference.

Swanick: well uh... yeah magical girls are pretty cool.

Geck 388: seriously! your standards are low.

Swanick: hmm! don't talk about my waifu like that!

Geck 388: easy man. i can sing her whole opening theme song.

Both Swanick and Geck 388 proceed to sing an anime opening song about Swanick's waifu. some of the tyranid in the back felt annoyed, while the maleceptor just don't care about it, and keep following the path. yet those 5 big tyranids are still following the road, while 12 of the tyranids are still sitting in their backs, except the hive guard. as they have to walk and follow the 5 of these big boys, to the destination.

As the sun is almost down. Tyrac 234, begin to do some navigation discussion to the recon team. as tyranids are natural at this stuff, and no need some shit like the imperium and tau empire or any other race with technology to navigate the whole planet, well except if you are an ork. since they don't care where they go, and they always expect a fight in there.

Geck 388: well once we arrived there, we could settle up there?

Swanick: don't know about that, if we just plow in we could have to set us deep into the forest. if we do that. we could present a risk to any settlement and village that are in there.

Vrakkar: you see we are the tyranid that cares. remember the hive tyrant and the hivemind, told us to build a friendly relationship with everyone we can. looks like we adapt to the local language faster than usual, as the hivemind had put it inside our mind, so we don't need some book to make us remember it. (he said by walking near to the first maleceptor, in which Swanick and his two tyranids were. as he walks at the same speed as the maleceptor.)

Tyrac 234: look at there. it looks like there is a huge fire.

After Tyrac 234 points out the forest fire. they begin to arrive at the viewing scene. the forest burned on a large scale, as there is something mysterious that has burned the forest, and this was huge and the damages too were huge. the third tyranid recon team begins to make their stop and dismount from their mounts of maleceptor and try to take a look with a stolen imperial guard's binocular, as they have more than one of them.

Swanick: what the hell could've caused it?

Tyrac 234: you gotta see this for yourself officer.

Tyrac 234 gives the binocular to Swanick and he begins to see what causes the fire in the forest. then he begins to see something large and red. it was flying and breath fire, this begins to shock him, as he looks at an actual giant flame dragon with that binocular burning down the forest. the flame dragon burns more of the forest with its fiery breath like a flamethrower.

Tyrac 234: This beast is something foreign that I thought. maybe they are some kind of a mighty beast that roams this land. if we could least eat a sample of this species. then all of us tyranid could breathe fire from our mouth then.

Swanick: now that could be an excellent idea.

As time goes, the flame dragon begins to leave the forest. this also confused the 3rd recon team on why did it leave? as some beast would basically have some reason to burn out many of those areas of forest, maybe it's for food? but there might be something else.

After the dragon leave. a storm comes struck the forest. then the recon team decided to take a rest for the next day, in order for the forest fire to begin to stop, as heavy rain begins to drop. it begins to extinguish the fire that the flame dragon had caused in the forest. then they have to wait till the next morning so they could go further to the forest in order to investigate all of this mess and try to found out what inhabitants that live there.

The next day in the forest

The 3rd Tyranid recon team has arrived in the forest and begins to investigate further what lies in this wreckage and try to find something interesting on this burned forest. which was proved to be once a settlement that the flame dragon had burned yesterday during the nighttime. so they begin doing their job and investigate the settlement in the forest.

Number 2: there is smoke coming from the ground

Swanick: it would be a miracle for someone who survived this.

geck 388: uhh sir you gotta look at this. ( he said as he looks a burned corpse on the wreckage. which has spooked him.)

Tyrac 234 mourns the dead as he looks at corpses of burned people on the rubbles. as he pays his respect towards them.

Swanick sits in the well, as he drinks his canteen. as he was exhausted. then Krakia 734 begin to approach him about the overall report of the wreckage. which what Krakia said there is around 32 foundation on the settlement and the majority which is the size of a family dwelling member, and the recon team only find 27 bodies. so in the end what Swanick thought that there are 100 people who live here and absolutely no survivors at all.

So it's believed that the hive tyrant would least have some interest in this flame dragon. there might be many issues to discuss with the flame dragon stuff. which according to those tyranid are horrible of this dragon action. so Swanick grabbed the bucket and begin throwing it at the well, to see if there is something there.

Krakia 734: sounds like it hits something. what could it be down there?

Swanick begins to use a stolen imperial guard flashlight, in order to inspect what lies beneath there. then he begins to see what lies there. it was an actual survivor of the settlement. this has gasp both Krakia 734 and Swanick upon seeing it.

Swanick: not a what. it's a who, everyone we need a hand over here! (Swanick said as he begins to alerted the rest of the team that he and Krakia 734 managed to find an actual survivor deep beneath the well, of this settlement.)
