Accidental Villain 4
Jaune jumped as he was startled and turned to where the voice was coming from and saw 2 women staring at him; that in its self was already an odd occurrence and messed with the laws of the universe, people were not supposed to be staring at him when there were other people in the room, let alone 2 distinctively beautiful women, that was just not how things worked in this universe, maybe in the one universe where it did happen it was okay because if there were infinite possibilities there must be one where one version of him is actually liked by people... he bet that Jaune had some great friends and no doubt a loving girlfriend, or boyfriend, or just a loving partner in general.
He got side tracked again and quickly looked at the women to take them in.
One of the women was Glynda Goodwith the amazing hero that had saved Jaune's life a while back and the other was a gorgeous red head. She actually had scarlet red hair which was so pretty, it fell down her whole back from the looks of it. She had bright emerald eyes that stared right into his, honestly it was a little un-nerving but he tried to take it in stride and gave a nervous smile at her before averting his eyes; she was really beautiful so he probably should stare too much. He stared at Weiss back in University and she was stunning as well and she kept yelling at him whenever he did and honestly he wasn't really good enough to even glance at someone so beautiful, and this women most certainly fit the bill of being so astonishingly far out of his league, he didn't doubt that her partner probably would not like it if he was looking at her to much, he didn't want another inccident like what happened with Mrs Bella- Kail.
She was also really tall, not as tall as him but still tall. Muscular as well, her arms were toned and she looked like she could bend steel with her bare hands while running the 1500m without taking a break. Also the bronze amour was really cool; she wore it like a corset and had some greaves on as well. He used to love reading about knights and King Arthur back when he was a little kid so he knew what her leggings were, also the red sash around her waist was a nice addition.
Now all Jaune needed was to learn her name and then she could never speak to him again! Don't want to ruin his perfect streak with rejection after all, he was currently sitting pretty at 0-2, there was the girl in secondary school Chloe and then there was Weiss at Beacon; this gorgeous red head would help him with the hat-trick hehehe... he had to laugh otherwise he would probably cry.
it was now very silent as he had been staring at them for about a minute now and no-one had said a word since they entered; he should probably say something.
"Um, hello there." Jaune offered nervously with a little wave as he averted his eyes from theirs, keeping eye contact wasn't really one of his strong points with women, or men, or animals, or robots, or even androids, he even had trouble meeting the eyes of the people in his films he watched; how could they look so confident? honestly it was amazing that they had such belief in their expressions.
"So you are the one holding this bank hostage?" questioned the stunning red head, her emerald eyes piercing into his own when ever he looked up at her, they sparkled like gems and he was reminded of the first time he looked through a telescope at the stars.
Jaune shrugged but still didn't meet her eyes properly as he looked everywhere but at her and replied trying to hold back the stutter. "I mean they were always free to go, I just wanted to check something at the bank, you know normal boring everyday life stuff."
Ms Goodwitch then choose to point out to Pyrrha that he was the man that blew up the MERLOT lab and evaded the police and also managed to defeat team BRNZ.
Pyrrha looked at him with interest, now that she could see him from the front more clearly she was actually impressed, from what she had heard about this Jaune Arc from the news he was a recently new scientist in the company and she had thought that he would be like most of the people she saw coming out of the science building when she would go over to the library, almost every one of them was wearing glasses and was painfully thin or a little overweight, and while she really didn't like to make assumption being who she was because everyone had been making assumptions about her for her entire life, she had expected Jaune Arc to look mostly like them body wise, but he was broad shouldered and looked like he had done a decent amount of exercise, nothing like the overly muscled heroes that she had worked with, but he looked like a dancer she ideally wondered if he could dance.
The more that she looked at him and his nervous little fidgeting the more she felt intrigued by him, it wasn't unusual that people would be nervous when faced with a hero and she had her share of nervous fans asking her for autographs, but the nervous energy he was putting out was endearing and in a certain way very cute, like he didn't want to look to long into their eyes because he was embarrassed about staring; something that her fans had no problem with and it was a reason why she never went out to do the shopping anymore, she couldn't get an apple without taking 20 'selfies' with her fans.
When they finally managed to look into each-other's eyes for more than a second, her heart had decided now was the time to start beating irregularly and perform its own tap dance routine, which was a little bit irritating at the moment as her adrenaline had also spiked up and she was starting to sweat a little from the small amount of eye contact; was this his semblance? Could he affect a persons body like this simply with a look? is this why he had avoided looking in there eyes?
"Okay technically I did do 2 of those but I didn't blow up the lab; I'm not much of a fan of explosives. Not really much to them other than a boom you know?" He had managed 4 seconds of eye contact with the gorgeous red head, that had to be a record somewhere in Remnant, he was sure of it.
Both of them just looked at him seriously, although Jaune could see the lips of the red haired woman give a little twitch, and Jaune then looked at the bank teller behind the counter that had found the information for him. "Heh, tough crowd right?"
The teller looked really scared at this point as he didn't really know what to say or do when trapped between a criminal and a hero.
Jaune then struggled to meet the heroes' eyes as he tried to plead his case. "Look um, The Disciplinarian. Uh do you remember when you came to Beacon University that one time and stopped the big guy from destroying most of it? I'm the guy who threw the foam at him and you saved my life!"
"I thought you looked familiar, it pains me to see such a promising student now turned to the wrong side of the law."
"No I, uh I didn't- well right now yeah it looks like I am but I'm not!" Jaune then looked at the beautiful red head woman, meeting her eyes once more briefly; they were still an amazing emerald, it was honestly extremely enchanting and if he had the confidence and the ability to look longer than 4 seconds he could easily see himself looking deep into her eyes for as long as she would allow.
"You have to believe me uhhh … sorry what is your name? Hero name that is you don't need to tell me your normal name if you don't want to, but I guess if you tell me your hero name I will still find out your real name with time won't I?" He really hoped that didn't come out threateningly, but the hero names were just cool titles that the public used even though they knew the real names, like how The Professor was actually just a guy called Ozpin.
She looked stunned for a second, probably that a someone who even looks anything like Jaune had even though he had a chance of talking to a girl that looked likes her. She even looked at Glynda like she was questioning the audacity of Jaune's actions; she would not be the only one to do so.
"You don't know who I am?" Pyrrha felt her stomach tightened up a little.
"No?" Then she felt it do a little flip.
Even the bank workers were looking at him like he was an idiot and the guy behind the counter leaned in to supply him with her name. "That's Pyrrha Nikos!" he whisper yelled.
"Ohhhhhh, right yeah... Pyrrha Nike, yep..." she watched as he gulped nervously, nodding along to nothing in particular. "We all know who that is, she uh, she's the one who, um flies-"
"You don't know who she is?" the bank teller looked astounded and Jaune looked to be a bit relieved at being called out for not knowing who she was.
"No, I-I'm really bad at lying, sorry who is she?" This was when Pyrrha's stomach decided it was time to do another little flip.
"She won the Mistral regional tournament 4 times?"
"I'm from Ansel, not much TV signal over there." Her stomach felt like it had a butterfly inside it flying around.
"She graduated from Sanctum with full honours?"
Jaune turned to her at this point, still not quite maintaining eye contact but now conversing in her direction. "Good job? I guess it couldn't have been easy." He wasn't aware if she took offence to that as she didn't say anything just looked at him bemused. Pyrrha on the other hand felt her eyes widening massively as she swallowed hard, forgetting to take in the next breath
"She graduated at the top of the hero course from Beacon University."
"Oh I went there, science courses though so we would have been on the opposite sides of the campus I guess."
The newly named; well actually it had probably always been her name he just learned it now, anyway; Pyrrha looked a little put out, like she never thought that there would be someone who didn't know who she was or about her achievements. If Jaune was being honest they were amazing, he was sure that she worked really hard for them or maybe she just had talent, but talent could only see you so far, hard work was everything. So the effort she must have put in was actually much more impressive to him than the achievements that she had gotten, he himself was also proof of what hard work could achieve when applied properly, not the same as her but then why would he want to be? He was Jaune Arc, maybe not the best version of himself but he was still pretty good; so no matter what anyone else achieved he wouldn't be bothered because he knew there was still more that he could do.
Pyrrha was star struck.
This handsome, messy, tall man with beautiful blue eyes didn't seem in awe or put down by her achievements in the slightest. Add the beautiful blue eyes in again and Pyrrha could swear they were trying to draw her in, maybe they were even trying to twist her mind and her feelings around to make him seem appealing to her so she would let him go? Either way she had to stay strong, she needed to resist him and use the training that Ms Goodwitch had given her, focus on the rest of the bank, feel for the metal around her; a few chairs, some pens, the counter and some metal in the walls of the building.
Her mentor leaned over to her and gave her a useful piece of advice. "This is an important lesson right here Pyrrha; you opponent is clearly trying to set you off balance and make you think that you haven't accomplished anything amazing and putting you down, we are clearly dealing with a cunning and ruthless individual."
Jaune opens his mouth to disagree with her but realises it probably is pointless at this moment in time, they are just going to believe what they want to and still try and take him in, and then they probably wouldn't even listen to him when he told them the truth. It was time to get out of here and he had the address he needed so he had to play this smart, if they thought he was the criminal then he would play the criminal, only so long as it would help him be the hero in the long run.
"Okay so here is how this is going to work; there are magnetic pressure pads beneath all of the hostages, if they move off them the whole bank goes up in flames, so I would really appreciate it if you could please let me go." He knew he said he was a bad liar, he just really had to hope they didn't call his bluff, and that he could play alone with it well enough.
Pyrrha raises her eyebrow as she had finally gotten a chance to break out from his seduction control as she was going to call it; he had slipped up and lied because he didn't know she could sense the metal around her. Pyrrha takes on a sly and smug smile as her hand is coated in black energy and a metal chair next to her starts to float in the air, also surrounded by the black energy. "Nope." She says cutely.
Jaune stares astonished with wide eyes. "Oh wow… you're pretty." Pyrrha blushes profoundly at that statement but still throws the chair at him, hoping to capture him in its metal bindings, but he lets out a very characteristic scream; most people would say it is uncharacteristic, but he had spent half his life getting things thrown at him by super powers, he had earned the right to scream how he wanted to. This also meant he knew very well how to avoid things thrown at him as he dive rolled over the counter, missing the bank teller who fell over in panic.
The Disciplinarian is in full action now as she waves her ridding crop around and moves the chairs to grab the civilians and safely remove them from the bank, this was Pyrrha's mission so she would wait for her protégé to apprehend the criminal, if she couldn't trust her to do it on her own then she could never really be trusted to do solo hero work in the real world.
While Jaune was down behind the counter he slipped into his pocket and pulled out a device that he had only tried once before, so here was the field test, but better now than never.
Jaune then appeared standing up behind the counter as the chair that Pyrrha threw has now been impaled in the wall, which would have been uncomfortable if that had hit him. "Hello there and welcome, how can I help you with your account today?" he asked in an over exaggerated customer voice, personally he thought it was really funny, he never really got the chance to tell his jokes and technically her attention was on him.
Pyrrha wasn't about to smile or find this handsome criminal funny, at least not out loud she had to resist the seductive control that he had tried to place over her right now, so while she did think that he was amusing she wouldn't be laughing out loud and she fought hard to keep the smile from showing on her face, she almost let it slip earlier. So without waiting she pulled the chair out of the wall and threw it at him again as he ducked under the heavy desk and slipped himself into the leg space, and then he activated the device.
Pyrrha watched as this Jaune Arc stood up from behind the counter again and looked at her right in the eyes; which was strange as he had only done that maybe 3 times so far and now it was like there was a completely different person in-front of her, and naturally it had the effect that she was sure he desired as her heart did a small tap dance. "You are seriously awesome you know that right?"
Pyrrha felt some more butterflies as he said that, he had to be doing this on purpose right now didn't he? "Do not bother trying your seductive charm on me, Ms Goodwitch has taught me how to block out controlling semblances." Pyrrha then stepped forward and grasped the counter in one hand and covered the metal parts in her black energy and lifted it above her head.
"Oh wow that's amazing, is this possible because of your semblance? I mean you look really strong as well but I bet magnetism, or actually it would be polarity wouldn't it as those chairs would have had a bit more electrical energy on them and I didn't feel any plus other metal objects would have gravitated towards them but they didn't and the pushes away from you were really strong so I guess you are like a north or south pole and you make other objects the opposite to be able to manipulate them right?"
Pyrrha looked startled as he had managed to figure out how her semblance worked after a brief interaction and observation of her abilities.
Pyrrha then throws the counter over her head towards the back door where it crashes into the frame and a thudding sound is heard, this way it has cut off his only exit and now he is stood right in-front of her as her captured criminal.
She then dives at him prepared to restrain him as best as she could without much of a struggle, Pyrrha didn't want to hurt this man as he didn't deserve that. She was far closer to him than any metal object and he had proved to be very efficient at dodging her thrown objects, but dodging a person he wasn't as good at as he just moved his hands in-front of his face and she –
Dived right through him?
Pyrrha hit the floor with a thud and rolled over to look back at him and then kick flipped up to her feet, but he was now facing away from her, so she tentatively put her hand through his back and watched it come out of his chest, he was a hologram!
"Ah, that was really freaky. Are you okay? That was strange right? I won't lie to you I have only used this tech once before and that was a month ago, sorry if you hurt yourself I wasn't so sure this would work, you didn't hurt yourself did you?"
The concerned look on his face was as real as he had been a few moments ago she was sure of, but she couldn't be fooled; he was still a criminal, the report had him blowing up a laboratory and he had also defeated a team of sidekicks like her. So his concern meant nothing to her, even if her palms were slightly more sweaty and her chest had tightened up because he showed that he cared a little about her when she had taken a full on punch from Yang after she was powered up and only been buried under 27 meters of rubble, she still managed to win that fight, although she was on bed rest for a day afterwards as Yang had rattled her brain a lot.
"Do not try and pretend that you care about my well-being you criminal. You could have gotten people here hurt or worse!"
The hologram had the decency to look a little ashamed as it rubbed the back of its neck and flickered slightly, it was pretty cool she would admit to herself, not to him out loud. "No I couldn't of hurt them; you already realised I was lying about the magnetic pressure plates! And also I said please and thank you to the bank workers, how many criminals do you know that say please and thank you?"
Pyrrha wasn't about to be swayed by the rambling of a handsome mad criminal scientist. "Enough of this game and trick show yourself! Those beautiful blue eyes of yours won't save you from me!"
Jaune looked bashfully at the ground, a hint of red on the cheeks of the hologram. "T-thanks, no-one has ever said I have beautiful eyes before." He managed to ramble out quietly, but Pyrrha wasn't going to let that deter her from her mission, even if she did feel a little hurt at that statement from him; the wounded puppy act will not sway her!
"Your powers of seduction will only get you so far, they will not aid you in this moment!"
"Never did in school."
"Now show yourself so you can be brought to justice." The sooner that Pyrrha had him bound and cuffed she would feel better, her stomach had been doing an entire gymnastic routine since she had seen him leaning over the counter when she first entered the bank and her heart kept doing a tap dance when her eyes and his would meet.
"Umm about that, you see its – well the thing is you … kindaalreadyhelpedmeescape?" Jaune said very quickly as he again looked in her eyes for a moment as he smiled awkwardly and her breathing decided to stop for a second which was a new reaction from her at this moment. After that second then she felt confused and then she realised.
"The table!" she gasped in shock.
"Yeah, honestly not one of my better ideas, but I knew from experience that it would work, from a time when I was in school and a kid threw me while I was in the desk and I went out the window. Managed to brake my arm, thought that the story might win me some points later on in life with a girl, but Weiss instead just got mad at me, so that didn't work out so well, she just blasted me into the Beacon pool, honestly that hurt and I got a concussion from that one, but as I was sinking she was laughing and she looks so amazing when she laughs."
Pyrrha couldn't believe what she was hearing, she knew that sometimes Weiss would come in to some hero course lessons a lot more frustrated than most but she just assumed that it was how she was and Ruby always seemed to make her see reason and calm her down, and she suspected that Weiss really like the attention from Ruby as well if the pink on her face was anything to go by.
"Well next time we meet Jaune Arc I will not fall prey to your charms and deceptions, I will catch you, and you have made yourself my nemesis now Jaune Arc and I will focus all my energy into your capture."
The hologram of Jaune had the good graces to look nervous and that made Pyrrha happy, he was nervous about their next confrontation where she would be the one to come out on top and capture him and secures her more points for the hero examination. He still shot her a nervous and shaky smile which had the natural reaction from her to apparently make her breathing stop for a second, his semblance must be strong to affect her through a hologram.
It then shut off leaving her stood staring at the place where he was stood before and a little metal device that was on the ground which she picked up.
Several blocks away Jaune removed his glasses from his face for being able to see through the holograms eyes. "Okay scary, gorgeous, strong amazon woman is going to be hunting me down; I am certain I have had that dream before."
Pyrrha exited the bank with the device in hand, she had checked the back room and found the door was open, all clear signs that he had managed to escape from the bank. No doubt that he was already far enough away and Pyrrha had no idea in what direction so a search was pointless at this stage of the game. She sighed out loud as she took in her failure, she wasn't used to the feeling of failure in a mission, and it was usually in her everyday social interaction that it occurred.
Ms Goodwitch was stood there waiting for her with the police and once they saw Pyrrha exit the bank empty handed they all moved in and the detectives begun to get to work to see if they could gather any evidence about where he would be going next or what direction that he left in, already shouting out about a five block perimeter and putting out more wanted posters and getting his face on the news.
"I'm sorry." Pyrrha said as she met the eyes of her mentor and then looked down in shame.
She just sighed and said for them to head back to the agency where they could wait for the police report and she could also write up her own report to send to the police to assist them with the investigation.
All that Pyrrha could think about as the 2 of them jumped across the roof tops still on their patrol and Pyrrha stopped a mugging was the bright blue eyes of Jaune Arc and how bewitching they were to her, she couldn't stop herself from thinking about them, and his nervous smile with his messy shaggy blond hair that fell into one of his eyes, she really wanted to brush that hair out of his eyes.
He must have done something to her to bewitch her to feel this way; she had never felt anything like this before for anyone and it wasn't that she wasn't flirted with. Several muscle bound sidekicks from tournaments and some other missions had always tried to use pick-up lines on her and then talk about their achievements, not caring for asking about her or to seem interesting in anything she had done or wanted to do.
Why was she still thinking of him? She really needed help; maybe a talk with her mentor back at the agency would help her out.
As the 2 of them walked back into the building it was in silence and the whole reception area felt the silence. The people who worked there even could see that something had not gone quite to plan with the way that Pyrrha was holding and rubbing her arm and looking down at the ground. Nobody made a sound as they made their way to the elevator and rode it up to the sidekick floor where Pyrrha was going to fill out her report for the police and her mentor.
When Pyrrha steps out in the break area she spots her fellow sidekicks team RWBY who are watch Yang and Ruby face each other on a hero fighting game; Ruby playing her uncle Qrow and Yang who had chosen Weiss' older sister who was also a pro hero Winter, who was currently rank 8 below Qrow who was at rank 5 in the hero charts.
Nora and Ren were also there as well but Ren was cooking pancakes while Nora darted around him and drooled at the sight of 'the greatest treat on Remnant' being made. She had a slight addiction; Pyrrha had overheard Yang telling Blake that while spent a lot of time working out to maintain her figure after large meals, she once saw Nora overweight from eating a giant stack of pancakes but then burb her weight away in an instant. Pyrrha didn't believe her, but she couldn't bring it up to the 2 as it would be rude of her to butt in when she had been the one eavesdropping.
"Make sure you fill out the report properly Pyrrha; I want to know everything that happened before he escaped." That got the full attention of everyone, well almost everyone.
Ruby let out a cheer as Qrow used his finishing move on Winter and the screen declared her the winner.
"Yes Ms Goodwitch." Pyrrha replied.
The elevator doors closed and she rode up to her office, Pyrrha then let out a sigh and begun to head to her and Nora's room to fill out the report; Nora spent most of her time in Ren's room anyway so it was mostly hers which meant a quiet place to think about what had happened.
Or it would have been if the others hadn't gotten in her way.
"Whoa did I hear that right? Someone managed to escape you P-Money?" blurted out a shocked Yang.
Weiss of course leapt to her defence straight away. "Yang you must not jump to conclusions; this was most likely a supervillain of the likes of-"
"It was Jaune Arc." Pyrrha whispered and Weiss straight away shut up and looked at her with confusion.
"I heard something about that guy in the news recently." Muttered Blake who went back to her book, but her cat ears still faced in the direction of Pyrrha.
"Yes he was at the bank that Ms Goodwitch and I went to; I underestimated him and he escaped." Pyrrha explained to the group.
"I'm sorry but JAUNE ARC?" Weiss all but yelled at Pyrrha as she marched right up to her and gripped her shoulders, which was quite a sight to see as the 5 foot almost nothing Weiss with the build of a ballerina, was shaking the 6 foot tall muscular Pyrrha.
"Yes."
"Tall, gangly, awkward, messy, plain Jaune Arc?"
"I wouldn't describe him like that..." Pyrrha mumbled to herself.
"How on Remnant did that dunce manage to escape you? He couldn't take any hints about anyone back in University, was absolutely unable to hold a conversation with anyone without having to talk about science every other word and he was voted by most of the students as the most likely to get lost in a straight line. So are you sure it was him?"
Pyrrha points to the TV that Ruby and Yang were just playing on as Ren had switched it over to the news station and Lisa Lavender was reporting; Pyrrha liked her, she always made sure to never ask too many invasive questions and knew when Pyrrha was feeling awkward about answering some.
"-and now onto another story tonight; it seems that Jaune Arc is attempting to make quite a name for himself this week as he was attempting to rob a bank. His motive was un clear and other than some information that he managed to delete off of a computer he didn't seem to escape with much, but the most shocking part of the story is that he managed to escape. You see ladies and gentlemen the heroes that responded to the scene were The Disciplinarian and the new rising star among the sidekicks; The Invincible Girl also known as Pyrrha Nikos. Dr Arc managed to escape effortlessly from his confrontation with our favourite young hero, it seems here from the security camera footage we have inside the bank he managed to outsmart her and use her own strength for his own means when she threw him in the desk away. We do not know what he plans next, but if you have any information regarding him, please call the number shown on the screen-"
Needless to say Weiss was speechless, as were the rest of them as they watched this random man outsmart and outwit one of the strongest people they knew.
"I am just as shocked as you all, he must have some kind of distraction or controlling semblance at his disposal."
"Jaune doesn't have a semblance." Weiss said. "He has never had one, for some reason he told me a lot about his life, I didn't really care for most of it and tuned him out. But he doesn't have a semblance."
Pyrrha couldn't believe it, this man had hidden his semblance from everyone then and now they were all going in thinking he would be easily over powered when in reality he had all the cards. "but that doesn't explain what happened to me and how he made me feel."
Yang and Nora share a look and Blake rolls her eyes at the 2, she knows exactly what is coming next. "Oooh, and what did you feel when you looked at him Pyrrha?" Nora questioned innocently.
"I felt a twitching in my stomach, it made me really nervous so there were butterflies-"
"-And when you looked into his eyes? Please describe what they looked like." Yang chimed in.
"They were… they were a beautiful deep blue, a shade of sapphire and they looked like they were hiding so much pain behind them-"
"-And tell us what happened when he smiled at you, if he did that is-"
"-YES! He did smile at me; it was nervously a couple of times and he did this cute thing where he rubbed the back of his neck and he had to brush the messy hair out of his eyes-"
"-that's good Pyrrha, very good; but how did you feel?"
"Yeah give use the details Fridge Magnet."
"Well when he did smile at me I… I felt… I felt well the first few times I tried not to take notice of it, but the final time… it startled me but I had to catch my breath and may heart was beating strangely and my stomach was doing flips all over the place, and I was twitchy and nervous and I was sweating a lot as well. Do you think he has some kind of Vertigo semblance to put people off balance?"
Yang and Nora shared a massive grin at each other and they both wrapped an arm around Pyrrha's shoulders, Nora very awkwardly because of the height difference.
"No Pumpkin Cereal, you see I believe the answer is a lot simpler; you have a crush."
Of course it all makes sense now. Pyrrha felt a great weight off her shoulders now she knew the answer, it was right there in-front of her face the whole time, Yang was a genius for figuring it out and Nora was as well for making her realise the truth.
"You are right." She let out in a whisper as Yang and Nora nodded in agreement.
"Yep, trust me Nikossaurus, I know what I am talking about, why I felt the same abou-"
"A love semblance I can't believe I didn't see it earlier!"
"Well you are wel- wait what?"
"Nora, Yang thank you so much for helping me figure out how he made me feel those things in the bank."
"No Pyrrha I think you are missing the po-"
"No Nora you helped me get there, thank you so much. I know we don't talk much but I am in your debt."
"Wait I think you ne-"
"You as well Yang. And Weiss." The white haired young woman had given up the moment that Yang and Nora had decided to tease the Red haired champion but now she was being called she looked over at the 3 to see Nora and Yang looking disbelievingly at Pyrrha; who in turn looked like she had just discovered how to make chocolate last forever.
"Weiss you must not have been affected by Jaune and his love semblance-"
"-Oh is that what we are calling it now-" Yang muttered to Nora, the both of them still dumbstruck by Pyrrha's outburst.
"-But he has hidden this power from you or you managed to resist it; did you ever feel any affects?"
Weiss made a face, although she somehow managed to make it still seem attractive. "Pyrrha he doesn't have any powers, least of all to do with love. He is a complete moron, he once came up to me with a story about his broken arm, stuttered for nearly 3 minutes straight about my hair and then tried to ask me to a ballet show."
Pyrrha nodded along with the words. "Exactly; so you understand how distracting he can be!"
"No I sent him away by blasting him into the pool, it wasn't the first time and then I took Ruby to the ballet; it was a wonderful evening."
"Bow-chikka-wow-wow." Nora said playfully with Yang narrowed her eyes at Weiss and her slightly reddened face.
Ren and Blake looked at Ruby who made a disgruntled face and shook her head, truth be told she fell asleep during the last show, but the time with Weiss was nice.
Pyrrha on the other hand is baffled, so Weiss didn't feel the effects of Jaune back in University, maybe it was because Weiss was interested in Ruby at the time so the love wouldn't affect her, whereas Pyrrha wasn't interested in anyone and her finding out that Jaune didn't know her and didn't seem to be intimidated by her achievements had made her susceptible to his love semblance.
Deep in thought she made her way to her room intent to write up that report and then talk to Ms Goodwitch, if anyone could make sense of all of the thoughts going on in her head then it would be her mentor and idol.
Standing in her office after handing her the report Pyrrha averted her eyes and then said a signature phrase of hers.
"I'm sorry."
Glynda could only sigh, Pyrrha apologised far too much for a young woman that truly caused no problems, if only Nora, Ruby and Yang could learn from her and maybe not cause as much chaos then Glynda could rest easy on most days, unfortunately that never seemed to be the case.
"Pyrrha have a seat." She sat down quickly and Glynda leaned back in her chair and looked her in the eyes, happy to see Pyrrha maintaining the eye contact.
"Pyrrha you are my best student, you are the most promising out of all the sidekicks in this year. I have nothing left to teach you that you will not learn from experience."
"Thank you Ms Goodwitch, but I don't know if I am ready for this."
"It is a leap of faith Pyrrha, that's all it ever is. You will learn from whatever mistakes you make; it just takes time, that's all."
Pyrrha had gone in nervous about a lot of things, but she left feeling determined about one thing.
She would catch Jaune Arc.
RWBY Amity Arena shuts down, sucks but you know; don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. Still sucks though. I enjoyed it.
So Qrow vs Winter way back in Volume 3, who won for you? Personally Qrow did, he got exactly what he wanted; a show and Winter to get called out by Ironwood. Winter just got angry.
Edit: again I went through this halfway through June and maybe it is good enough, well its good enough for me anyway; if you are reading this thanks, hope you are enjoying it so far, it's only gonna escalate into more crazyness further.
