"We're the Justice Society of America." A girl earring an orange and black outfit stated.

"And you're coming with us." Someone who looked like the one girl Beth that none of them met, but thanks to the Specter, Lane knows what she looks like to see the resemblance.

Then there was some guy wearing an all blue outfit with a black mask covering his entire face. And then the girl who looked almost exactly like Star Girl.

"I'm sorry...what?" Jax asks.

"Oh my god, you're Commander Steel." Nate said to the man with the gun as he did a flip and landed on his feet.

"Now that's just showing off." Lane stated with a scoff.

"Who the hell are you?" Commander Steel asks Nate.

"Whoa, just relax." Ray tells them. "We're all friends here, aren't we? Hey, wait, if you're the JSA, where are all the Avengers?"

"I don't think they're the same JSA as the ones we met." Lane explained to Ray.

"Hey." Jax greeted the Courtney doppelgänger casually. "The names Jax."

"Mind telling us what you were doing impersonating OSS agents?" Commander Steel asks.

"It's quite simple, actually." Stein assured him. "We were protecting Albert Einstein from Nazi agents who were attempt g to kidnap him and force him to build an atomic bomb in the future."

"Yes, that sounds simple." Lane said sarcastically.

"Time travel." Nate told Steel. "It's a little hard to explain."

"You can take all the time you need." The girl they didn't recognize stated.

"In custody." Dr. Mid-Nite stated.

"Whoa, take it easy." Nate tried to calm him down. "Let's talk after all, you're-" He didn't have time to finish as Steel knocked him out, causing them to erupt into a fight.

Museum, 1942

Peter was currently swinging inside of the museum and came across the diamond that was supposed to be stolen. The case that was holding it was embedded into the wall and had a gigantic wall of bulletproof glass.

"Gideon, you sure this is the place?" Peter asked the AI.

"Of course I'm sure, Peter." Gideon confirmed.

"Well, it must then be a false alarm." Peter shrugged as he knocked on the glass and saw it was thick and bulletproof. "No one in this time period's getting their hands on that thing." He said in relief just as he got a call from Sara.

"Hey, Peter, you there?" Sara asks into the comms.

"Yeah, Sara, seems it was a false alarm." Peter said with a sigh of relief. But then he heard what sounded like crumbling and turned to see something that shocked him. "Uh...I'm gonna have to call you back."

"Why? What's-" Sara asked, but Peter turned her off and looked to who he was facing and saw the figure coming down on a line attached to her back.

The person is a tall, curvaceous woman, weighing 150 lbs. and standing 5'10" in height, with white-platinum blonde hair that was up in a ponytail and sky blue eyes. Her outfit consists of a black suit with white accents and black goggles. The gloves of her costume form retractable claws at the fingertips.

"You look good." Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat, complimented as she gave Peter a smile before she flipped over and detached the line from her back and landed on her feet. "Been working out?"

"No." Peter stated as he placed his hands on his on his hips. "I mean...a little."

Felicia then strolled over to the glass and slid a claw across it where his chest would be. "So...heard you ditched New York and joined a team. What's up with that? Weren't you supposed to be a loner?"

"That's...a lot of questions." Peter commented, a little flushed at seeing that his ex-girlfriend was here.

"I'm just...curious." Felicia stated with a shrug.

"Yeah, I hear that's really bad for cats." Peter stated while his eyes in his goggles squinted in anger. "How the hell are you here in 1942?"

"That's a secret for me to keep. And a surprise for you to find out later." Felicia stated smugly with a Cheshire grin on her face. "By the way, I'd check in on your friends..."

Peter suddenly became afraid and turned away from her and activated his comms. "Sara, Lane, Ray, you guys there?"

"Peter, where are you?" Jax asked. "We need you to get to us and break us out."

"Break you out?" Peter asks. "From where?"

"The Justice Society of America captured us. Thanks." Sara said sarcastically.

"Sorry, Sara, I...ran into an old friend." Peter answered and turned back to see the diamond and Felicia are both gone.

"What? Who?" Ray asks.

"Trouble..." Peter sighed as he saw Felicia left something behind. A message.

'Missed you', and right next to it was a heart scratched into the glass.

Felicia sneaked through a home in the suburbs and strolled in to see it looked like any ordinary household.

She then heard a gun cock and turned to face a familiar face. Looking down at the table, she sees plans for the museum and a few stuffed animals for a newborn.

The person is a tall man, weighing 150 lbs. and standing 5'8" in height, with short white-platinum blonde hair and forest green eyes.

"What the hell are you doing in my home?" Walter Hardy asked her.

Felicia turned around to face him with a smug smile as she sat down on the counters. "You're not gonna shoot me."

"And how do you know that?" Walter asks her.

"Because you're more of a scratcher than a shooter." Felicia said and reached into her pocket and pulled out the diamond. "You looking for this?"

"Why would I want that?" Walter asked her.

"Two days from now, you're going to try and steal this, but you're caught. Once arrested, you spend ten years in prison. Let's say I saved you the trouble and being arrested." She then passed it over to him and Walter caught it. "All I ask is you don't stop doing what you're doing."

"This...this was supposed to be my only score." Walter stated. "My...my fiancé and I are trying to have a child together. This is supposed to set us up so she can have a good life. One last score."

"Let's see how it turns out then." Felicia stated with a shrug and dropped off the counter and walked over to her soon-to-be-father. "Keep your daughter safe." She then strolled off, leaving a confused Walter behind.

"Daughter?"

"Where is he?" Jax asked as the team were currently sitting inside a small cage in the JSA headquarters.

"Pete's gonna be here soon, don't worry." Sara tried to calm him down.

"You just had to mention time travel, didn't you?" Mick asks Nate.

"Yeah, well, at least he didn't throw with first punch." Ray stated and looked towards Lane who fired the first shot.

"Hey. They struck first." Lane defended. "At least I'm not Fire head over here."

"I'm perfectly capable of handling myself, Mr. Evans." Stein stated.

"I'm pretty sure you got knocked out by a teenager in a star-spangled leotard that looked more ridiculous than the Stargirl we met." Sara stated.

"Hey, at least this ones older." Jax shrugged.

"I'm surprised you didn't ask for her number." Lane mocked.

"Oh, so now it's my fault we got our asses handed to us?" Jax asked.

"Look, they're just better coordinated than us." Ray stated.

"You guys saying you've met them before?" Nate asked the heroes.

"Technically, yes." Stein guessed.

"But at the same time, technically no." Lane shrugged.

They then heard a vent break and turned to see Peter dropping from the air vents. "Can't say I thought this would happen when I leave you guys for ten minutes."

"Man. Where the hell were you?" Jax asks.

"Long story." Peter sighed and placed his hands on the bars. "Tell you about it later. So..." he then ripped off one bar and was immediately shocked, causing him to let them go. "What exactly happened? How'd you guys get captured?"

"That is a good point, how'd they even track us down?" Lane questioned.

"Because they're the Justice Society of America, the single greatest secret force this country has ever known." Nate stated.

"Then how do you know that?" Peter asked when his senses went off and he turned around to see Commander Steel and Vixen approached and got ready to attack Peter as he did the same.

"Because his Nazi handlers have briefed him, no doubt." Steel stated.

"Nazis?" Peter asked, looking over his attire. "What part of this screams Nazi? What part of any of us scream Nazi?"

"I'm not a Nazi. I'm a historian." Nate stated as he walked up to the bars.

"Here we go with the time travel nonsense again." Vixen sighed.

"070233." Nate said, causing Steel to look confused, as well as the rest of the Legends.

"What?"

"Those are the numbers on your dog tags. They're not disclosed in any document, military or otherwise." Nate explained to him.

"How do you know that?" Steel asked and Peter stepped out of the way as he approached, and Nate revealed he's wearing the dog tags.

"You gave these to your wife after the birth of your son in 1955. The dent is from an assassins bullet when you saved President Roosevelt in 1939. Your son passed them down to his son. Me." Nate explained to them the best he could.

Felicia was sitting in an opening just as a flash of dark red and yellow lightning came speeding past and picked her up before speeding all the way to Paris.

"You're late, Herr Thawne." A Nazi general informed him.

"Sorry, had to stop and pick up my acquaintance in New York." Eobard Thawne stated as he gestured to Felicia who was balancing herself on the stairs, confusion the general. "Did you locate the item?"

"It's in Berlin. The Fuehrer refuses to part with it." The general stated.

"I have something much more valuable to offer him." Thawne stated. "The JSA are basically a group of super-soldiers. Now I know a guy, from somewhere far from here, who is working with a similar goal." He then pulled out a veil of blue liquid to him. "This is enough dose for one person. Proof of concept. Give me what I want, and your Fuehrer will be planting his flag on the White House lawn in the matter of months." the general reached for it, but Thawne kept it out of reach. "Do we have an accord?"

Felicia watched the interaction with the two of them with sudden great interest.

Back with the others, they were lead into the main hall of the JSA headquarters and Peter finally came face to face with their world's versions of the JSA.

"Huh. They're a bit of a letdown compared to the other team." Peter commented.

"Can someone here please explain what the heck's going on?" Rex Tyler, the Hourman demanded from them.

"Well, we tried to explain-" Sara was explaining when Hourman interrupted her.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, I was addressing your team leader." He gestured towards Stein.

"Seriously?" Lane asked. "Is this what it's like in 1942?"

"More or less." Peter guessed.

"Well, simply put, we've come here as time travelers to identify aberrations in history and correct them." Stein explains their job to them.

"We're superheroes like you guys." Ray gestured to them and was met with laughter.

"You think you're just like us?" Stargirl asks. "What are your qualifications?"

"Well, I used my fortune to create an advanced eco-skeleton that's powered by dwarf star alloy." Ray explains.

"And I'm nothing like you." Mick stated. "I'm a criminal."

"Are there any other felons on your team?" Vixen asks.

"No." Peter answered.

"Yes." Mick stated and pointed towards Sara. "She's an assassin, but never convicted, right?" He then pointed over to Evans who leaned against the wall. "He's a space pirate that became a protector of reality but ended up killing it."

"It's...it's a little more complicated than that." Lane told them and did his best to recap everything. "I'm a member of an elite team called the Warriors of the Multiverse. After that didn't exactly work out, I was fired - or you can argue my job never existed, since I lost all memory of it - and then when another crisis we code named Battleworld happened. I was given my memories back and had a second chance to save reality. And then I joined these guys because I wanted to have some fun and not get stuck behind a desk again."

"And now we all protect history, it's pretty important." Ray finished his explanation as the phone rang and Steel picked it up.

"You might've been onto something with that Bellevue idea." Rex informed Steel.

"We need to get moving." Steel stated. "Baron Krieger's been spotted in Paris."

"We could help you out with that." Ray offered. "Fighting Nazis and countless armies is kinda our thing."

"Yeah, last time we did, we all died except for a few of us who helped take down the Batman Who Laughs and then at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean." Mick recapped.

"He's got a fair point." Lane agreed.

"We can handle Adolf's buddies." Rex promised. "I think it's best for the 20th century if..."

"For us to leave it?" Stein guessed.

"And that's why you're team leader." Rex stated.

Stein then smiled, before turning and see the annoyed looks coming from the rest of his teammates. "Well, I guess we'll be on our way."

Waverider

The ship was flying off and back into the Temporal Zone, leaving 1942 behind while the team all came back together in the main room.

"Can you believe what we just saw with our own eyes?" Ray asks. "The actual JSA. And Hourman? That guy's amazing."

"Meh, I liked the other guy better." Lane confessed, thinking of the Earth-2 heroes.

"Come on. Those guys were precise, professional, in constant agreement." Ray listed to them. "We can't even agree on who's turn it is to make dinner."

"Not it." Peter declared from his seat, looking at a tablet. Doing his best to try and get a lock on how, when, and where Black Cat got access to time travel.

"I can't argue with you, man." Jax agreed. "They got some serious skills."

"Big deal." Sara scoffed. "Apart from the fancy headquarters, discipline, and calls from the White House, I mean, what do they have that we don't?"

"An actual leader." Ray stated. "Rip's gone. And who knows if and when we'll actually find him. We need someone who can make the tough calls."

"Let me guess, you?" Lane asked him with a raised brow.

"With all due respect, Mr. Raymond." Stein interrupted. "I think there's a reason Mr. Tyler just assumed I was the leader."

"Yeah, because Mr. Tyler's from 1942 and you're some old white dude." Jax scoffed with a laugh.

"Old meaning experience." Stein stated.

"Why not Evans?" Jax asked, gesturing to the space pirate. "Wasn't he captain of the Millennium Falcon? Hell, he flew it on Battleworld. Why not let him be captain?"

"Oh, how I miss my sweet ship." Lane sighed as he looked to the air, drifting off thinking about his Falcon.

Peter looked at him, confused at how he talked about his ship with a raised brow. "I think he's just drifted off to fantasy land."

"Sorry, back to this discussion." Lane snapped himself out of it. "I came here to avoid taking leadership again. I'm open to the idea, but this is not the same territory as I'm used to. I'm used to space travel, not time travel. I'm just following you guys around."

"Martin's right." Sara agreed with them. "With Rip gone, we could use some adult supervision. Congratulations, Capitan."

'Well then, thank you all for your support. Now, I believe our first order of business concerns Dr. Heywood." Stein stated and they all knew they needed to drop him off back in 2016 so Sara went to talk to him.

"What you looking at?" Lane asked and looked to see Peter was looking at a few photos of Felicia to find out where she was last. "Never thought you to be into cat girls."

"What?!" Peter asked with shock. "No! This is the girl I found at the museum. I met her when before I became a Legend."

"A cat burglar?" Lane asked.

"Long story." Peter stated. "But I'm trying to find out how she got access to time travel."

"Could she possibly be our rogue time traveler?" Ray asked.

"Felicia? No." Peter laughed at the idea. "I think she's working with whoever's actually doing though. She doesn't have it in her to kill. She has more of a tendency to create chaos without people dying."

Sara then marched in with Nate close behind her. "Well, that might've just changed."

"Why?" Jax asked.

"The JSA die on their mission to find Baron Krieger in Paris." Nate explains.

"Meaning we need to go back to 1942." Sara stated. "Gideon?"

"I'm already on it." Gideon promised and started plotting their course back to 1942 and everyone strapping back in.

Peter was shocked at what he just heard and wonders what Felicia's doing out there and who she's working with. She might be a back stabber, but she never actually stabs anyone in the back. It's just not her style.

There's something wrong with this picture.
