1942, Paris

The Waverider exits the Temporal Zone and camouflages as they fly above the sky of Paris,

"And this is where the JSA's gonna die?" Jax asks as the team looked out the window to the city night.

"Not unless we save them, including my grandfather." Nate confirmed.

"Not unless we can find them." Sara reminded as Nate turned to the computers in the middle of the room.

"Fortunately, we know they're looking for a Nazi named Krieger." Nate stated as he tries to open the file but having trouble. "Can someone please help me operate this thing?"

Peter then reached forward and flipped open the file and showed a photo of their Nazi they're looking for.

"Thank you." Nate thanks him. "Krieger and his men frequent a place called the Bar With No Name. We find Krieger, we find the JSA."

"So, how do we sneak into a Nazi nightclub?" Jax asks while Peter was shocked more at the name as he recognized it from New York back in 2016, the club that she created and ran.

"I have a plan." Stein offered to them. "Are any of you familiar with Max Suelzenfuss, better known by his stage name, Max Lorenz?"

"Who? What?" Lane asks.

"He was Hitler's favorite singer and, fortunately, bears a passing resemblance to Moi." Stein explains to them, and he turned to Mick. "That's French."

"Hm." Mick grunted.

The team, consisting of Peter, Stein, Sara, and Ray, made their way down to the Bar With No Name, all dressed as undercover attire.

"The club is closed tonight for a private function." The doorman informed them.

"Do you have any idea who I am?" Stein asks him as a Nazi general was walking past. "I am Max Lorenz."

That caused the general to freeze and turn to face the doors. "Did you say Max Lorenz?"

"Yes." Stein confirmed. "And I have never been treated with such rudeness."

"Of course not." The General said in either shock or worry as he walked over and lets them in. "You're more than welcome here, Herr Max."

"Thank you." Stein says and strolls in as Sara handed her coat to the doorman.

Once they made it to the actual bar area, the team separated, and all looked around to find the JSA. Well, most of them. Peter, as he was the only one who knew about Felicia owning the place, made his way to the bar where he saw a certain blonde.

"What is a girl like you doing in a time like this?" Peter asked as the woman stopped and turned to reveal Felicia wiping down a glass in a towel.

"A fellah done me wrong." Felicia stated with a look of annoyance as it seems she wasn't expecting him to find her so fast. "Ran out on me when I needed him most."

"I have a sense to say that he didn't know you were having problems. You know, except for the obvious problems." Peter stated before getting on with his biggest question. "How did you get a club in Paris in 1942?"

"Are you even surprised at this point?" Felicia asked as she poured a drink out.

"With you, Felicia, I'm not surprised, but I still need to question it." Peter stated as she passed him the drink. "Why are you a bartender?"

"Turns out help is hard to find in World War Two." Felicia said as Peter took the drink and scarfed it down, even though it seems he can't get drunk. "You should get out when you have the chance, Spider."

"Why? Think I can't handle myself?" Peter asked with a look of fake hurt. "I thought you had faith in me."

"Call it a sign of your luck." Felicia stated with a smile as she leaned over the counter to come closer to Peter. "Why'd you leave New York?"

"I could ask you the same thing." Peter stated as he repeated her action and leaned in when he suddenly heard Stein singing and turned to face him and was shocked but turned his attention back to Felicia.

"Let's just say I wanna make things more interesting in our relationship." Felicia stated as she leaned in and pecked his lips, shocking Peter. "Looks like your friends are going to cause some trouble. I'll mail you the bill."

Peter was about to ask what she's talking about when he suddenly felt his head buzz and turns to see it came from Ray who just punched a Nazi general in the face.

"Why do you get to punch him?" Jax asked Ray as a fight broke out in the bar.

Peter sighed and knew they needed help and quickly raced in, skidding across the floor as he shot a web, yanking one of the Nazis and sent them flying at the bar.

"Sorry, my boyfriend seems to have gained some anger issues over our time apart." Felicia apologized to the unconscious general as she casually went through her own business as the fight went on.

The fight went on for a half minute longer when a blinding light came in and knocked everyone unconscious, all except Stein who was actually protected by the Nazis. The blind light came from Stargirl, as she and the other members of the JSA all appeared in the middle of the room.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Commander Steel asks Stein.

"We came back to...rescue you." Stein explains as the rest of the JSA as the team wakes back up and Peter noticed Felicia's already gone.

Waverider

The team brought the JSA back to their ship as they all looked around and they were still unimpressed by the team that helped save the multiverse.

"If we're meant to be impressed by all of this technology, it has the opposite effect." Vixen stated to them.

"It only makes you that much more dangerous." Dr. Mid-Nite stated.

"What does it take to impress you people? Being heroes from the future who saved the multiverse isn't enough to impress you, what is?" Peter questioned them as he leaned on a chair.

"Well, there is evidence to support that." Stein shrugged and went to the important stuff. "But I think what's important now is for all of us to stop arguing."

"Does your team ever stop arguing?" Steel asks them.

"Fair point." Stein guesses.

"I think what Martin is trying to say is we're going to help you whether you like it or not." Sara stated with a smug smile. "You're going after Krieger. We know where he's going next."

"And given the law of temporal mechanics, if you die, your grandson ceases to exist." Stein informs Steel.

"Well, I don't pretend to understand any of this time travel bunk, but these fellas do have a time-ship. Might come in handy." Steel supposes.

"And having them as our backup might be the only way to keep them out of trouble." Vixen also agrees.

"Permission to blast them?" Lane asks Peter, readying to draw his blaster, getting annoyed by these guys.

"Hold on that." Peter told him, he also getting annoyed by these guys.

"Let's put it to a vote then." Steel says and they all raised their hands. "The ayes have it."

Peter was having searching Gideon searching throughout the timeline, trying to figure out what's been happening with Felicia.

"So..." a voice called, causing Peter to turn and see Jax standing in the doorway. "I have a feeling that there's more to this whole relationship between you and that girl."

"What makes you say that?" Peter asked as he refocused on what's been going on with Felicia after he left the city.

"Come on, man. You've been researching everything you could find out on why she's here, and I watched the two of you interact at the bar." Jax informed him.

Peter sighed and rubbed his head and sees he can't hide it any longer. "Okay, fine...she's my ex-girlfriend."

"Wait, what?" Jax asked, no idea what he was supposed to expect, but wasn't expecting that.

"Yeah, she used to be my partner in New York for a while. But then we sorta broke up...after I learned her father was the man who murdered my uncle." Peter stated, not wanting to slip the thing about his parents.

"Hmm...so, why is she here?" Jax asks.

"I...I think she did it because of me." Peter guesses. "She said that she was looking for me and was shocked when she learned I skipped town. But I don't get why...she never saw me as anything more as a thriller. Something for her to run from."

"Wow." Jax said with a sigh.

"And I don't think she's working alone. She's not the woman to go around time killing people. She never took a life before and made it a rule in her to never kill for a score." Peter stated and knew there's more to this story than both him and the others know.

Fontainebleau forest, 1942

"We've spotted the Baron's caravan." Stein reported from the Waverider. "ETA's five minutes."

"Why are we doing this again?" Lane asked as he held his blaster in-hand.

"Hitler wants an amulet they're transporting that's supposed to have some occult power. Were you not paying attention?" Peter asks him.

"Not really." Lane confessed as the truck approached their location and Mick shot an explosion on the road, causing them to stop.

The team all race in as the Nazis try to take them on, but between the JSA and Legends, they made quick work as Peter raced into the back of the truck.

"I've got eyes on Baron." Ray called from above as he and Vixen go after him.

Peter made it to the back of the truck and ripped open the crate. "I've got the amulet, go after Krieger."

"Roger that, Spider-Man." Ray said.

What they didn't see however was Krieger taking the serum that Thawne and Hardy gave him and turned into a hulking creature.

"Uh, guys!' Ray cried as he blasted Krieger as he chased after them.

"We need backup!" Vixen begged of them.

Just as that happened, Krieger made his way towards them and rammed through the team as if they were nothing.

"You've got to be kidding me." Peter cried as he raced and leaped in, only to be slapped by Krieger. "Ow!"

"Fall back!" Sara cried as they all tried to get up. "Mid-Nite, get Obsidian. Lane, get Peter!"

"Got it!" Lane cried as he got up and used a stun blast on the hulking Nazi, but it had no effect on him, but it gave him enough time to pick up the injured hero.

"Mick, lay down some fire to cover our retreat." Sara demanded as everyone helped them get up and made their way out of the area as Mick blasted a firewall between the two of them.

Leaving Ray and Amaya to defend for themselves as they're captured by Nazis.
