"Gideon went over the major damages, but the cargo door will need to be repaired, so will the controls, and a few other things. And the time drive needs to be fixed before we think of flying anywhere again." Jax reported to all of them as they saw the damage that was caused to the Waverider.

"How long will that take?" Sara asked.

"Over an hour, maybe longer." Jax reported.

"Well, get to work, the sooner you get started the sooner we can get back to searching for our rogue travelers." Sara told them. "In the meantime, team, find ways to entertain yourselves. We could be stranded a while."

"Perfect." Peter sighed just as his tablet went off. "I...Gotta go." He quickly marched out of the room, trying not to rouse suspicion from the team.

"That was weird. Right?" Jax asks.

Peter strolled into his room and closed the doors before he activated his tablet to see it's his mom. Luckily, he informed her and his dad about his little mishap and how he's aged up.

"Hey, mom. How's it going?" Peter asked her with a smile.

"Peter...I think it's time." Mary told him with a smile on her face, but he could also see the panic. "I think your baby sister's on the way."

Peter looked completely shocked and started to actually feel frightened. "Okay, I'll meet you guys in 2014."

"Okay, see you then, honey." Mary said jokingly before hanging up.

Oh boy, this day is getting harder and harder.

October 5th, 2016

Malcom Merlyn watched as the death of Damian Darhk and sat down just as Thawne sped him, Darhk, and Felicia into his penthouse.

"Wait, this is the great Malcom Merlyn?" Darhk asks in disbelief. "I'm unimpressed."

"Well, he's fallen on hard times." Thawne tells him. "But this man used to be Ra's Al Ghul."

That got Dahrk's attention, but Felicia still wasn't as she just picked up Merlyn's drink as he looked to the three intruders in his home. "Still unimpressed."

"We haven't met yet, I'm Eobard Thawne." Thawne introduced himself. "I'm...from the future."

Merlyn stood from his seat, no idea what's happening. "What the hell is going on here?"

"Good question, here's a better one: do you believe in second chances?" Darhk asks him.

"I just watched you die." Merlyn informed him.

"Yeah, I've heard 2016's not my best year." Dahrk admits. "But I plan to fix that."

"But the question is do you wish to see your fortunes similarly reversed?" Thawne asked him.

"By time travel?" Merlyn asked.

"Close...we're offering you something much more...powerful." Felicia stated as she took a sip of the drink.

Waverider

Peter was thinking of a way he could sneak off of the vessel to make it to 2014 to see the birth of his sister. If he was noticed, and someone discovered where he was going they'd most likely try and fix history.

Meaning that they would go and kill his parents, and his soon to be little sister.

"There has to be something..." Peter whispered as Lane was watching for so long he was able to piece the story together.

"You having a family crisis?" Lane asked, scaring Peter as he jumped and turned to face him. "Yeesh, someone's on edge. What's happening?"

"My baby sister's on the way, and I need to be there for when she gets here." Peter explains to him and sighs as he can't find a plausible way to get off without someone noticing. "I don't know how the hell I'm gonna leave and they don't notice I'm gone."

Lane started to look and saw his room was across the labs and Ray left a lot of dangerous chemicals out. "I just might have something to help."

"Why do I feel like I should be very afraid?" Peter said in fear.

Across the ship, Sara, Mick, and Amaya were marching through the ship.

"You people are not coordinated or trained. Why the hell are you all here?" Amaya asked them.

"Listen, lady, we've been doing this longer than you. And why are you even still on the ship?" Mick questioned.

"Because I'm a member of the Justice Society of America. It's my job to protect everyone." Amaya stated.

"Except me." Mick snarled. "You tried to sneak up on me like a ninja."

"There are no such thing as ninjas." Amaya stated.

"Tell that to Chuck Norris." Mick replied.

"Who's that?" Amaya asked.

"And I'm the idiot." Mick chuckled.

"Listen!" Sara finally stopped in the hall and turned to the two of them. "We don't know how long we'll be stranded here, so you two better figure out your differences and stop squabbling, after this ship is functional again, I will drop you both and strand you in a time and place of my choosing until you learn to get along!"

That caused the two of them to actually freeze and silence in seconds.

"Don't worry. We can handle this." Sara promised.

Just then, they heard an explosion in the ship, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and race in to see nothing but a fog of smoke.

"What the hell happened?" Jax asked as they pried the doors open and were all immediately hit with a sudden change of temperature when they saw Peter and his entire body chest was froze and Lane was checking him out.

"What's going on?" Ray asked.

"Me and Pete were just talking and suddenly this gun went off and released some cold temp on us." Lane explained to them as he tried to pick up Peter as they noticed he was shot by the cold gun. "It was gonna get me, but Peter got me out of the way. Help me get him to the med lab."

Mick quickly made it over to them and picked Peter up and helped get him to the med bay. Once there, they placed him onto the chair as Jax quickly placed a tin foiled blanket and placed it on top of him so he can warm up quicker.

"Gideon, is he gonna be okay?" Sara asked as she looked at the ceiling in worry.

"Mr. Parker has suffered from fifth degree frostbite. His healing factor is already hard at work to heal him, but he will be out of commission for a few hours." Gideon reported to them.

Sara sighed in relief. "Okay, so he's going to be okay, so just everyone leave him be until he's back on his feet."

"Got it." Mick said as he walked out and began drinking his beer again.

"I'll stay with him." Lane offered to them.

"Good idea. Make sure he doesn't get up until Gideon says he can go." Sara ordered as she and the others left the room.

Lane looked out and gave the second before turning to the blanket. "Gideon? We alone?"

"Yes, Mr. Evans." Gideon reported in.

"You're good." Lane tells Peter who quickly pulled off the blanket.

"Okay, that was too close!" Peter stated to Lane as he looked to the dry ice on his side. "I felt that."

"Hey, you're the one who updated my blaster." Lane chuckled. "This gives you an excuse to be gone for five to ten hours."

"Perfect." Peter sighed and looked up to the ceiling. "Thanks for not ratting me out back there, Gideon."

"My pleasure, Mr. Parker. Now if you want to get going, there is no one in the path towards the Jumpship." Gideon tells the two of them.

"Wait, what if someone comes to check on you?" Lane suddenly realized a fault in their plan.

The two of them think for a second and need someone to actually be here while he's off at the hospital. But they both then got the perfect idea on who could fit in for them. Luckily, by the time that Lane found Mick, he was already passed out asleep.

"He'll be out like that for five hours." Peter said with a smile as he watched Mick sleep in the med bay.

"You have a strange relationship with this guy." Lane admitted his thoughts.

"The guy was the friend of the guy who saved my family's life. And...well, he's a good guy. Something not many can see." Peter told him and quickly gave Lane a fist bump. "Now I gotta go and greet my baby sister into the world."

"Good luck." Lane tells him before Peter began to make his way out of the ship. He then heard snoring and turned to see it's Mick. "So, it's just you and me. And your snoring." Seeing he's gonna be here a while, he grabbed the unopen beer off of Mick's hands. "I'm gonna need this."

Back in the hanger bay, Jax and Stein were fixing the doors and controls and were just finishing up.

"Not to brag, but...between the docking stabilizers, and the blast doors, I think this might be my best patchwork ever." Jax stated cheerfully.

"Well, charming as your confidence is, I think we better consult the expert." Stein says as he eyes the tablet. "Gideon, would you be so kind as to run a diagnostic report?"

"Mr. Jackson's work has done the trick." Gideon reported. "A scan has revealed that all 36 compartments of the ship are in optimal condition."

Jax then stopped and heard that comment and was getting confused. "That's weird. Gideon, did you say 36 compartments?"

"Correct. The entirety of the ship."

"When Rip was still on the ship, he made me learn every inch of the Waverider, and there have only been 35 compartments." Jax informed Stein his dilemma. "So, either I miscalculated, or-"

"There is a secret compartment that Captain Hunter failed to mention to you." Stein understood what he was saying. "Gideon, please pull up the schematics of the ship."

"Wait, we still need to fix the time drive." Jax reminded him.

"And we will. After." Stein promises him, causing Jax to roll his eyes. "Come on, tell me you're not a little bit curious?"

New York, 2014

Peter made his way through the hospital and quickly found his father pacing back and forth in the halls.

"Dad!" Peter yelled as he quickly raced over to his father. "I'm here!"

"Oh, Peter, I'm so glad you're here!" Richard sighed as he pulled Peter into a hug. "Wow, look how good you look."

Peter chuckled and rubbed his hair. "Yeah, things have changed. So, how's she doing?"

"Well, she kicked me out five minutes after we got here and just told me to wait for you." Richard explained. "Think you should be in there for her."

"You sure?" Peter asked.

"Peter, this is something we should share." Richard said with a smile.

Peter looked at the doors and raced into the doors to find his mom was just giving birth.

Waverider

Back in the hanger, Stein was looking down the hall, feeling the walls of the stairway.

"We don't have time for this. We need to get out of the Temporal Zone to find the murderous time traveler and cat burglar." Jax reminded Stein. "Let's just fix the ship and go."

Stein then suddenly smacked a panel, causing an echo. "Did you hear that?"

Jax then became just as curious as he was and pried off the panel and it revealed a secret door. "Oh my god..."

"A secret hatch." Jax whispered in shock.

"With a sequencing lock." Stein took notice of the lock on the door. "Clearly, Captain Hunter didn't want anyone getting in."

"Sadly, he didn't expect me." Lane scared the two of them as they didn't even notice he was there. Lane then took out a small device and activated it and it began to glow.

"What's that? Some sorta futuristic sequence decoder?" Stein asked as Lane placed it on the door.

"You guys might wanna to take a few steps back." Lane offered some advice to them and strolled away.

The two did just as he said as the device released an electric pulse and caused the door to open.

"Man, I love your gadgets." Jax said as he bumped his shoulder.

"Yeah, I used to use that on different type of locked doors...mostly vaults, high secure doors, but that was before I became a Warrior." Lane tells them casually before strolling inside before the doors reset themselves.

Sara was walking through the hall of the ship after finally ditching Amaya with Stein. But she suddenly came to a stop when she came past the medical wing and saw the blanket covering Peter and the snoring.

"You aren't even as quiet when you're asleep." Sara commented as she strolled over to him. "Gideon, is our spectacular Spider-Man ready to get back on his feet?"

"Mr. Parker has healed perfectly well and is officially healthy." Gideon reported in.

"Hey, you hear that, Pete?" Sara asked as she patted his shoulder, but that caused the blanket to slide down and reveal Mick. "Mick?!"

Mick suddenly jolted awake and saw where he was. "What the hell? How did I get here?"

"That was supposed to be my question." Sara informed him. "Where's Peter?" When she saw Mick had no answers, she turned to the only person who would. "Gideon! Where is Peter?"

"Uh...Mr. Parker is currently not on the Waverider."

"Then where is he?" Sara questioned.

The three guys searched inside the room and were all surprised as they saw an arsenate of weapons from head to toe.

"This is amazing." Lane commented as he picked up one of the weapons. "Some of this stuff would put the Jedi's glow sticks to shame."

"Whoa is this place?" Jax questioned.

"It appears to be some sort of armory." Stein stated.

"I think I see the reason Rip didn't want us to know about this place. Some things you can't unsee." Jax suddenly understood. "But why such a big secret? Rio didn't trust us to know there are heavy duty weapons on board."

"Would you?" Stein asked as he guessed to Lane who was admiring the weapon he picked up.

Suddenly, light filled the room as a panel on the wall becomes visible. The panel had a number of settings, but it appeared to be filled with past messages, but all of them were encoded and required a password to hear them.

Except for one.

"Look, our friend has hailed the Waverider." Stein stated as he saw the unlocked message came from 'Peter Parker-Coulson'.

"Director Parker?" Lane asked in shock.

"Let's hear what he has to say..." Jax stated when Lane stopped him.

"Wait. Look at the date." Lane warned him and they saw the date: 2045. "During the time on the Helicarrier before we made it to Battleworld, I saw the date that it was set to on Earth-616. It was 2030. This is a message from fifteen years in the future. Do you really wanna know?"

Jax then thought for a second before finally reaching in and pushing the button.

"Sorry to break the rules of time travel like this, Captain Hunter. But I need to warn you that something is coming."

The three of them look concerned as to what this Peter's saying.

"Something bigger is approaching, and it's because of my actions that have caused this to happen. So, I need you to keep what I'm about to tell you a secret. Especially from the other Legends. Battleworld was just the beginning...if we don't stop him before it begins, this battle of tomorrow could turn into a war. A war...for the future."

New York, 2014

Peter smiled as he looked down on his baby sister as she cooed in her sleep. Looking over to the bed, he sees his parents are both asleep as it was early on the morning now. But Peter stayed awake to say goodbye to the newly born Teresa Parker.

"I'm happy I was here to welcome you to this crazy, psychotic world that we call home." Peter said to Teresa as he caressed her small head. "This world is crazy. There will be times you'll feel it's out to get you. But in the end of the day, you'll see that there is a reason for everything. I thought I was going to be alone forever, but now I'm here seeing you. And I couldn't be more grateful. I won't always be around, but I'll always be there if you call. No matter how far I have to go. I will always be here for you. And I will always love you." He then leaned in and pecked his sister's cheek. "I have to get going. History won't protect itself."

Peter then made his way outside of the hospital when he felt his senses alerting him of someone approaching.

"Cute kid." He heard a familiar voice and spun to see Felicia out of her Black Cat attire. "Seems looks run on the genetics."

"What the hell are you doing here?" Peter asked Felicia, ready to fight her and defend his family.

"Just wanted to share the moment with you." Felicia stated as she strolled over to him casually. "Teresa. Beautiful name."

Peter looked sternly as he marched closer to her. "If you or your friend harm even a hair on her head-"

"No need for the threats. I'm not here to harm anyone, the others don't even know I'm here." Felicia promised him as she wrapped her arms around his neck as he just stood there. "I just thought it's been a long time since we've been alone. So I ditched my team for the night, what do you say we get a place for the night?"

"How about you tell me who you're working for, and I throw you back in your cell?" Peter replied as he pulled himself from her grasp.

"Wow. Someone's tighten over the years." Felicia commented as she placed her hand on his chest. "I like it..."

"You've got to stop, Felicia." Peter demanded as he pushed her arm off of his chest and marched off.

"The game of cat and spider in reverse then, Peter." Felicia whispered as she walked away and looked for some trouble.

Waverider

Peter made it back on the ship and sneaked off of the Jumpship and made it back into the main ship. Sighing in relief, he was going to keep going off when he suddenly saw Sara watching him.

"Hi...Sara..." Peter said with a smile. "How's it been?"

"I see that you're all healed up. Almost like nothing happened." Sara commented with an angry look that actually reminded him of the one his mom makes. Now that he remembers what that face is. "Where were you?"

"I..." Peter tried to come out with a real excuse before giving up and knows there's nothing. "I...I was visiting my parents."

"Your parents?" Sara asked.

"Yeah. With everything going on. I never really had a minute to visit their graves. I miss them sometimes and talking to them helps me clear my head. And with everything going on with Black Cat, I just needed to talk."

Sara seemed to actually understand what he means and cools down. "I get that, I would do the same thing with my sister. Go talk with her about my day, my troubles, things like that. So, you good now?"

"Yeah, I'm all good. Ready to take her down." Peter promised her.

"Okay then. Good." Sara supposed and walked away before turning back to Peter. "Also, just say that next time. No need for this elaborate Prison Break routine."

"What can I say? Mick loves the show, got me hooked into it." Peter said with a laugh as she walked off.

Sighing, Peter sees his family is safe and that there is nothing to worry about.

As Sara made it through the ship, she found Lane, Stein, and Jax. "Okay, what's your secret?"

The three of them just froze and had a moment of pause.

"I'm sorry?" Stein asked.

"This ship. It's almost like nothing ever happened." Sara explains, causing them to sigh in relief.

"Well, it took some work, but we got the job done." Jax explains.

"Well, let's get us back up into the mission." Sara said as she walked into the main room.

"What do we do about the message?" Jax asked the three of them.

"Well, Rip didn't want the team knowing." Stein reminded them.

"Yeah, but we know." Lane reminded him.

"Good point." Stein guessed. "I think it's best if we kept this between the three of us at the moment."

"Yeah, good idea." Lane saw that was more rational.

For now.
