Peter was sleeping in the chair near Sara's, accidentally falling asleep after everything he went through with greeting his sister into the world.

As he slept however, a dozen of new memories slipped in through the cracks of growing up with his sister before joining the Legends.

One night when his parents went on a date, and he was left babysitting his sister and she wouldn't go to sleep. But he was able to get her to sleep by holding her for a while. It looked like she feels safe in her brother's arms.

The first time she said her first word. "Brubor."

And a few others, like her first birthday party, him sitting down on the chair and Teresa sitting on his lap to blow the candles out.

Peter began to smile at the memory and got a few dozen more of the two of them goofing off and just playing around when he heard Jax, and Stein were arguing about their job.

"We have the tools to make a difference." Jax argued to Stein. "We can make history better."

"Even if we act with the best of intentions, these changes can ripple throughout time." Stein argued back. "A temporal domino effect with disastrous consequences."

"So, we start small. Make changes we can control." Jax retaliated.

"What you're talking about can't be done. It's like playing God, and it goes against everything we're trying to do." Stein stated.

"I thought we were trying to help people." Jax questioned.

"We're helping by fixing aberrations, not creating them. You're not thinking fourth dimensionally." Stein stated as he tapped the side of his head

"Did you really just use Doc Brown on me?" Jax asked.

"Who the hell is that?" Stein questioned.

"Sara, Peter, come on, you guys can't just hang back on this one." Jax stated as he looked to the two in their seats.

"I'm not gonna lie, I agree with Stein. History needs us to protect it. We can't be the ones that break history. It's our job to fix it when it's broken." Peter told him, feeling that's a bit of a hypocritical statement coming from him.

"Cleaning up time travel after someone else breaks it? Time janitors." Jax sighed and strolled out of the room.

Peter felt sorry for Jax, but he stands by his statement and sat down. But as he did, his mind suddenly flashed again, revealing another memory of him and his sister. This one was the first day of her going to school, being nervous about it when she came home having a wonderful day.

When he suddenly opened his eyes again, Nate came in with news that his Time Seismograph has located an aberration before it's even fully happened.

"Where's it coming from?" Sara asked as Peter walked over to the table.

"Washington D.C., December 7, 1987. 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue." Nate said as they looked over the information.

"So?" Mick questioned.

"Dude, that's the White House." Jax informed him.

"So what?" Mick asked again.

"December 7th was the day before Reagan and Gorbachev signed the INF Treaty, reducing both countries' nuclear arsenals and paving the way for the end of the Cold War." Stein informed the team.

"How do you know all that?" Lane asked him.

"Because I was I the capital for that very summit." Stein explains to him. "The Reagan Administration would call upon the top nuclear physicists to act as technical advisors."

"You think someone might have traveled back in time to stop the treaty from being signed?" Ray asked with worry spread in his question.

"That, or worse." Nate stated. "Regan and Gorbachev under the same roof, adding onto one of the most volatile moments in history?"

"The JSA has a training academy in D.C." Amaya offered to them. "I could reach out to the current membership, see if they have any intel or resources we could use."

"Old idea, but you shouldn't go alone." Sara tells her. "1987 is a long way from 1942, and it's dangerous to know too much about your future."

"I can handle myself." Amaya stated.

"I'll go with her." Nate offered, and was met with an annoyed look by Amaya.

"I'll make sure these two don't do anything stupid." Lane offered.

"Great, the three of you reach out to the JSA while the rest of us break into the most secure residence in the country." Sara said as she walked out of the room.

"And how do we do that?" Jax asked.

"Come on, we've done it a few dozen times already." Peter reminded him as he walked out of the room to get into a suit to wear for the occasion.

Washington DC, 1987: White House

"Welcome to the White House. This is cross hall, a magnificent space that connects the State Dining Room with the East Room." The tour guide leads the group through the White House while Ray was following in his ATOM suit and shrunken down.

"All right, fan out, stay on the coms, and report if anything seems out of place." Sara tells the team.

"Rodger that." Ray said as he and Peter sneaked off from the group.

Peter was wearing a newly designed suit for the occasion that actually allowed him to blend in and camouflage with the rest of the environment using nanotech reflective mirroring.

The design was all black but had a glowing green spider emblem on both back and front and his eyes were also the same dark green.

With Nate, Amaya, and Lane, they made their way to the JSA headquarters in the attire for the time period.

"Women actually wore these things in the '80s?" Amaya asked as she gestured to the shoulder pads.

"Yeah, they were supposed to make women more imposing, more, I don't know..." Nate did his best to try and explain.

"Manly?" Amaya guessed.

"Yeah." Nate confirmed.

"I'd hoped that by this decade, women wouldn't need to use clothing to compensate for their status." Amaya stated. "Surly by now. Men and women are considered equals."

"Never lose that optimism." Nate tells her.

"Don't look at me. All the women I know could easily destroy their male teammates. One woman who's a wizard, another who's probably one of the most powerful people in the universe. Hell, maybe even multiverse. Possibly Metaverse." Lane tells them as they strolled over to an abandoned building.

"This is the JSA academy? Inside a crummy warehouse?" Nate questioned.

"The JSA academy is hidden inside a crummy warehouse." Amaya tells him as she takes off a sign and opened a secret compartment to type in a code. "Get ready to see the most elite training facility in all of history."

Amaya then opened the door and they walked inside the building to see everything broken, covered in dust, and actually did look run down.

"Does elite mean something different in this universe?" Lane asked them.

Amaya was shocked to see everything was run down and strolled around. "When I was recruited, this is where I was brought to train. What happened to the JSA?"

"No clue. But a lot can change in 45 years." Nate guessed.

"I thought you said you were a historian." Amaya suddenly turned to Nate in anger as she doesn't understand. "How could you not know?"

"Hey, every memo, every executive action related to the JSA is top secret." Nate defended as Lane began to stroll around the room. "I only pieced together their World War Two activities from my father's bedtime stories, witness testimonies, and government leaks."

"Guys?" Lane called them out as he was staring ahead and reached down to his blaster holder. "We're not alone!" He quickly spun around and blasted up in the ceiling.

Just as he did, the entire room was filled with a dark cloud.

"Okay, what is this?" Nate asked as Lane pulled out a glowrod as an Amaya used her amulet and used the soul of a hawk to see.

What she saw was something in the sky moving fast until coming down at them and immediately shot at by Lane, but he and Nate were both pushed out of the way as the could became a human form and approached Amaya.

"Todd?" Amaya asked.

The could then finally formed a human person who looked to be in his sixty's as he approached Amaya. "Why?! Why did you abandon us?"

Lane immediately got up and set his phaser to stun before blasting Todd.

"Who is that?" Nate asked as he got back up.

"It's Obsidian." Amaya informed them.

"The guy from the JSA?" Lane asked in surprise. "Whups."

Back at the White House, Jax, Mick, and Stein were roaming the halls looking for whatever could've caused the aberration.

"1987, the halcyon days of Whitney Houston and Star Trek the next generation." Stein gaveled the day. "I remember this as if it were yesterday."

"Hm, so then where's the abrasion?" Mick asked as he was grabbing out of a bowl of candy.

"Time aberration." Jax corrected him.

"That's what I said." Mick stated.

With Ray and Peter, the two of them were sneaking through the White House on the opposite end and strolled past a container.

"Those are jellybeans." Ray said as he landed on the stand. "Those are President Reagan's jellybeans."

Peter strolled over to the stand and looked at it. "Are you asking me for jellybeans, Ray? Because I'm quite sure that those might be a little stale." He then reached over and opened it, taking a few as Ray quickly grew.

"Hey, give me some." Ray asked and Peter pulled his mask up a little and handed a few to Ray before his senses suddenly went off.

Peter turned to where they were warning him, and they saw Damian Darhk coming towards them along with Felicia Hardy wearing what looked to be a secretary outfit and glasses that looked as big as her mask. "Oh, it'll take some massaging, but I believe we can get the soviets to agree to eliminating all nuclear ground launch."

Peter quickly closed his mask, and he became camouflaged almost immediately as Ray shrank down again, and for good measure, Peter leaped onto the ceiling to keep out of their way.

"I don't know what we'd do without you, Mr. Darhk." One of the people around the two stated.

"Oh, you'd manage, but winning is always better." Darhk stated as he passed, but Felicia paused and smiled slightly as she looked up to the ceiling where she sees part of the glass lights were slightly shaking.

But to Peter's surprise, instead of saying anything, she just strolled off and even swayed to show off her short skirt.

"Man, I hate her." Peter sighed as he knew somehow Felicia would've spotted her.

"I think we found our aberration." Ray commented as he flew over to Peter. "Guys, Damien Darhk and Black Cat are here."

Sara heard that and quickly pulled off her pass and turned off her comm link.

Making her way through the halls and locating Darhk fast and began to make her way through towards him when she was immediately stopped when someone invisible grabbed and pulled her into a corner.

"You don't want to do that." The familiar voice of Peter warned her.

"What the hell are you doing?" Sara asked.

"You want to get revenge for your sisters death, but you can't change history, Sara." Peter reminded her.

"Get out of my way, Peter!" Sara warned and grabbed onto his arm and twisted him over her shoulder and crashing into a stand, causing his suit to glitched.

"Hey! Freeze! We've got a situation-" One for the guards noticed the two of them and was knocked out by Mick.

"Thanks, Mickey." Peter groaned as he tried to get to his feet and looked to see Sara trying to chase at Darhk.

But just as she did so, a group of guards came in and yelled at them to stand down.

"We gonna fight or leave?" Mick asked.

"I hold them off, get them out of here." Peter tells the team and quickly raced at the guards. "Hey, guys, is there a way to get a meeting with the big man? I wanted to see if it's true about that thing on his head."

Peter then leaped on top of one of their heads and jumped off and kicked him before punching a second guy.

"Oh wait. Wrong time period. Trust me. You're gonna have a lot of those" Peter commented as everyone leaped out the window. "Gentlemen, it's been a pleasure!" He cried as he ran and leaped out and was immediately caught by Firestorm.

They were back in the Waverider and just turned off the news about their attack in the White House.

"So, your thirst for vengeance nearly landed the entire team in prison." Stein commented.

"Excluding Evans, Amaya, and Nate." Peter reminded them.

"I guess it's okay to change history when it's your personal vendetta." Jax commented on their talk they had earlier.

"The biggest question is why exactly did Black Cat and Damien become advisors to Reagan's White House on the eve of a nuclear treaty with the USSR?" Ray asked them.

"If his involvement with the Nazis in 1942 is any indication, Darhk is working with our time traveling nemesis and feline friend." Stein took a wild guess.

"Same person who killed Hourman." Sara added as she was leaning on the computer table.

"So, she can also lose focus, risking everything in a selfish pursuit of revenge?" Stein asked her.

"Do you have something you'd like to say to me, Martin?" Sara asked as she stood up straight.

"Yes, that killing Damien Darhk almost 30 years before his time of death will have countless unforeseeable consequences on the history that we are charged with protecting." Stein stated.

"Well, what about protecting my sister?" Sara asked. "She brought me back from the dead. She risked everything for me. How could I not do the same for her?"

"Because you answer to a higher calling, Sara." Stein reminded her. "I'm sorry, but we cannot stray away from our guiding principle."

"Well, I'm sorry. It sounds like, you've never cared about anyone." Sara stated.

"Sara." Peter interrupted the conversation, feeling like he has to say something. "You can't just say that. You think none of us want to do what you're trying to do?" He then gestured over to Mick. "He could easily go back to save his family; Ray could go and save his fiancé. Hell, we could go back and save Snart! And you think I don't want to change history!? Go back and change the biggest mistake of my life!" He then began to tear up. "My uncle died because of me. When I finally caught Walter Hardy, he shot my uncle. He died with me holding his hand. You think I don't want to change that? There's a lot of things I want to change. But I know we can't just go changing history for personal gain. No matter what it is we want to change. No matter who would be saved. The consequences wouldn't be worth the risk." He then marched away and can't keep it together as he walked into the halls and dropped down.

Peter began to tear up as he thought of his uncle, the one person he couldn't save no matter what was changed. Thinking of his family, his tearful face suddenly turned into a smile as another memory of his sister came in.

This time it was her taking her first steps.

Teresa was getting her balance with Mary and Richard watching over her.

"Come on, honey. You can do it!" Mary cheered her on as Peter and Richard watched from the other side of the room.

Teresa cooed as she started to take a few small steps and walked towards Richard. "Come here, you little genius you!"

Teresa suddenly smiled in another direction and walked towards Peter. Peter smiled as he kneeled down just as Teresa wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Bruber!" Teresa cheered to him.

Peter chuckled and picked her up. "Look who's growing up!"

Teresa then sneezed and giggled as Peter chuckled and cuddled his sister.

Peter chuckle at the memory and tearfully smiled at the family he had.

He's definitely a hypocrite.
